Nvidia windows kernal model driver 327.02

Q: Nvidia windows kernal model driver 327.02

Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 8.1, 64 bit
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770S CPU @ 3.10GHz, Intel64 Family 6 Model 58 Stepping 9
Processor Count: 8
RAM: 16320 Mb
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce 610M, 1024 Mb

Motherboard: Hewlett-Packard, 2ADC
Antivirus: Norton Security Suite, Updated and Enabled

The software I use almost exclusively is Microsoft Word, InDeSign and PhotoShop. I don't do any gaming. I do watch movies, either Netflix or insert my own dvds.

My computer is crashing with greater and greater regularity. How can it be fixed so it doesn't do this? Sometimes the screen basically "blips" and I get this message: Displaay driver NVIDIA windows kernel mode driver version 327.02 stopped responding and has successfully recovered. Other times the screen freezes and I can't do anything until I unplug the computer from the wall, plug it back in, and push the start button on the top of my monitor.

Today the screen "blipped" at least a dozen times, and completely crashed three times, all within less than 18 hours: 7am to 2:30 am.

Please tell me what to do, and please know I am no techy, so in basic English, please.

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

I received this error (see subject line or below) this evening while using Adobe Photoshop CS3 on my Windows 7 (64-bit) system.

Error occurred while attempting to use the slice tool in Photoshop. The screen froze momentarily (1-2 seconds), the went black (1-2 seconds) and then came back to "normal" but with the error message in the bottom right corner of screen. If occurred 3-4 times within 2 minutes. I rebooted Photoshop and it has not occurred since, but I'm extremely worried since my computer is my livelihood and I cannot afford to be without it should it go down on me unexpectedly.

I had a local guy install this video card on my system 2-3 weeks ago: http://www.staples.com/PNY-GeForce-9600-GT-1GB-PCIe-Verto-Graphics-Card/product_784288?cmArea=SEARCH

Not sure if it is the culprit or not.

Here's the error again:

"Display driver NVIDIA Windows Kernal Mode Driver, Version 185.93 stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

Thanks in advance for any assistance that is provided.

Hey guys i have a nvida 6200 oc PCI 256mb graphics card edition running windows 7 professional 32bit, and for some reason the driver stops responding ( your kernal driver has stopped responding and has recovered) and occasionally it will blue screen and say its dumping physical memory when im trying to run Windows Media Center and other programs, so is there another driver that i can get that will stop it from doing these things? or is it that the card is simply to slow?

A:Nvidia 6200 Kernal driver error

Try visiting Nvidia and check if there is an updated driver for your video card. If not, try using the original driver that came with your video card.

How do I go about fixing the Nvidia Kernal Mode driver and the NDIS driver. I suspect these two drivers are causing all my latency issues after installing Win7.

I'm running:

Windows 7 Home Premium
HP Pavilion dv7 notebook PC
Intel Core 2Duo T6400 @ 2.00 Ghz

I've installed the latest drivers for everything possible, including flashing my BIOS.

A:Latency Issues. Nvidia Kernal Mode Driver.

Latency issue for what ??????

What are you trying to deduce from it ???

both of them show under 1.5 latency....thats for god sake in ms (millisecond).....

Hi Everyone

This is my first thread and I'm hoping someone can help me sort out my laptop and improve the speed. It's slowed down quite a lot and is getting worse. After doing performance tests etc etc it's come up with the message below. Thank you.

Apologies but this is the best I can do with the notification ... copying and pasting!!!! Please enlarge.

A:SiS VGA Kernal Mode Vista Driver and Windows Driver Foundation

I think that it may not have a lot to do with those drivers. As even the report says that they slow down the resume from sleep or whatever by 5 seconds combined, not that they slow down the machine's own operation.

Your kind of issues are generally because there are programs running in the background and (useless) installed utilities that are eating resources for nothing.
Try following this tutorial, then report back.

Also, posting your full specs would be helpful, This tutorial contains a simple tool that scans and uploads the data into your profile here at Sevenforums, so we know what we are working on.

Next i clicked on download and wanted to update but then following message popped up:

I have a nvidia riva tnt2 model 64/model 64 pro pci bus videocard.
The other day I bought the follow up of MOH (sorry forgot the name because returning it to the store)but ofcource you already see the problem rightaway:error log file of the game told me the card was missing out on some functions. Can this card be updated so "heavy duty games won't be a problem in the future?(il2/fb-wolvenstein-cfs2 run good though!)

Thanx for listening!

A:nvidia riva tnt2 model 64/model 64 pro update wanted

Well...you can get the latest drivers for the card, but it won't help that much, because it's a TNT2...and PCI....

If you wanted to play newer games, you'd have to get a new video card....but if you're running a PCI video card right now, then it may not be worth it...check if you have an AGP slot, is should be above the PCI slots on the motherboard, and slightly offset from them...if you have an AGP slot, then that's good, because you could get a good video card...but if you don't, you'll probably be better off getting a whole new system rather than just upgrading the video.

A:Nvidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 / Model 64 pro Problem?

Just to be clear, 32-bit is actually 16,777,216 colors, so its much more then 256 which is just 256 colors. So for 256 you need to lower the color depth not increase it.

I have been having the device has failed and recovered, thought it usually doesn't recover, issue for nearly 6+ months now. Finally got the money and people were telling me its because i had a faulty power supply. Got a new one still same issue. Got a new video card. Still same issue. Then read this topic https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/389688/geforce-drivers/nvidia-statement-on-tdr-errors-display-driver-nvlddmkm-stopped-/ Went ahead and downloaed the AIDA64 Extreme and it looking through statistics it is giving me the error symbol where it goes over voltage. https://postimg.org/image/cfjusdas1/ I'm thinking that this must be the issue just unsure how to fix it.
Can provide any other information needed like dxdiag copy paste or AIDA report etc just let me know. Getting tired of 20-90 minutes of netflix/gaming/webbrowsing or anything really.

"display driver nvidia windows kernel mode driver version 332.21 stopped responding and has recovered"

Hello and thanks in advance for your help.

I am using a Dell XPS 8300 computer with the following specs:
Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1
64 Bit OS
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40 GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti

Dell has attempted to help me with this problem. Prior to having this error pop up on my screen the computer would just have a blank screen at start up after the dell logo then the windows logo appeared. They had me run the computer in safe mode with networking and they have uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled them, they ran CCleaner and fixed all registry errors/cleaned out temporary files, they installed and ran Windows Security Essentials and got rid of any malware. Finally, they decided to send me a new graphics card. They had a technician come install the new card and run a diagnostic test and update all drivers. Everything seemed to be fine but when I opened a game on the system that uses the more intense graphics, the screen went blank again. I have not played any games since but while browsing the internet at random times, I get the error message from the title of this post. The screen will go blank for a few seconds then reappear with that message. I have tried to do some research and have found that the error is probably something called TDR. However, I am not an expert and I am clueless. Please l... Read more

I was working with an audio recording software just now when I faced this error (in the subject line). The screen blacked for 10 seconds or so and then came back.

Also, I faced similar errors when I was using Power Point and a screen recorder software but the error was a bit different nvlkdm has stopped working. Also, I had just installed IE 9 beta (hardware acceleration), opened the first site and the system crashed and I had to do a hard reboot and unistall IE 9 to save my life from such errors again. The errors are just random. The nVidia drivers are downloaded the official nVidia and are the latest available for my DELL XPS M1530 with 8600M GT. (OS Win 7 Ultimate 32bit)

I also got two BSOD's at different time with a message saying:
"Unable to reset the display. A problem occured with the display driver driver"
I noted this error code on the blue screen
000000x16 nvlddmkm.sys
Dumping physical memory etc. etc.

There are no Minidumps being formed in Windows/Minidump (I just enabled them now), so I wasn't able to post any of them :-|
All temperatures normal, RAM test with Windows Memory Diagnostic/memtest/DELL Diagnostics pass, no overclocking.
However, I perfomed the stability test with Furmark for my grpahics acrd and the display started flickering with dots. Earlier when I installed the driver and had the performed the stability, it had ran absolutely fine for more than 20 min.
I read somewhere it can be an issue of Windows Update KB24548... Read more

Hi All  Kindly help me to find all the drivers. After OS installation none of the drivers updated. Kindly show me a link to download drivers for this model

Read other answers

since this is my first post, let me start by saying hi.

as I understand it, under the Vista WDDM architecture, only one driver can be used to run all video outputs, so when I bought my graphics card, I made sure to buy one that worked on teh same driver as my onboard chipset ( my card is an Nvidia GeForce 6200 OC, my onboard is an Nvidia GeForce 6150). At the time, I didn't know that Vista ( or BIOS maybe?) automatically disables the onboard graphics once the card is installed.

My question is, is there any way around this disablement? I would really like to have a third monitor to hold certain interfaces, my Sidebar, yahoo messenger etc, but since the expansion slots onmy PC are quite limited, buying another video card is my last resort...

A:Windows Display Driver model question...

unreconstructed welcome to the forums.

Don't know of any Nvidia based motherboards that offer that option, that isn't to say that there isn't one. The only boards that I know of that offer that are ATI based boards that have Hybrid Crossfire support. This allows you to use up to four monitors when paired with an ATI card (called Surround View, at least on my board), and if used with the correct card (up to the HD34xx series I believe) allows for Crossfire as well.

I have purchased a Broadcom BCM943224HMS 43224 Mini 2102 5103 Half Height WLAN Model: 43224. The existing WLAN card is Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000. It is supposedly a supported card according to the dealer. The HP Pavilion dv7t-4100 CTO is specifically listed on their compatibility list. 1) I cannot find a driver update for Windows 10. I see that HP Service Pack sp49541.exe provides Broadcom driver support for Windows 7. Is their any point in trying that one? 2) when I replaced the Intel Centrino Wireless-N 1000 card with the new Broadcom card. The computer cannot complete boot. It stalls just after the login. Running HP diagnostics crashes at 61% progress in Short DST Test in progess then powers off.Should I disable the driver for the Centrino Wireless-N 1000, shutdown and power off, then reinstall the Broadcom 43224 and try a restart?  I have spent a lot of time searching for a driver, to no avail. I was thinking that maybe a driver search by windows would work (connecting via hardwire ethernet) after a successful boot. Please advise

A:Windows 10 WLAN driver for Broadcom Model: 43224

I read in a post: spapakons says in <https://www.tenforums.com/drivers-hardware/31008-windows-10-drivers-backwards-compatible-windows-7-a...>Yes! Anything from Vista up to Windows 8.1 should work in Windows 10 (exceptions are very rare), as long as they are of the same architecture (32-bit or 64-bit). Some drivers will install as normal. Others might require to run the setup as Administrator (right-click and select Run as Administrator) or even set compatibility to Windows 7 or 8 to pass the version check. Few may require manual installation from Device Manager (right-click on device, select Update drivers, select last option, then last option to see a Have disk button. Click on the button and browse to the folder where you extracted the driver files. Use WinRAR to open and extract executable drivers).I first right-click on the setup and Run as Administrator, to make sure access rights won't block the installation. If this is not enough (rare but it could), then I try to set compatibility to Windows version of the driver. In worst case, I try the manual installation as described above.Download drivers with the following order: Windows 10 -> Windows 8 -> Windows 7 -> Vista -> XP (only for 32-bit and if no other version is available). Does this imply that HP Service Pack sp49541.exe might work for Windows 10?

Hi drak and welcome

All four of those (3 warnings and one error) refer to your AVG, and SuperAntiSpyware programs.

They are only warning you of the performance decrease.

If I were you I would remove both and replace them with Microsoft Security Essentials. It has a much smaller resource footprint and will therefore load more quickly.

Let us know if you need assistance with this.

I have currently upgraded the operating system on my desktop pc from windows xp home to 7 ultimate 32bit. everything seems to be working fine however I am unable to select the windows aero theme which has the transparency features and i am stuck on the basic theme. I made windows do a search to see if there is a hardware issue and windows found this (please see the attached screenshot) Windows also fails to find me the correct driver required. It is very hard to find window 7 drivers as it is an old machine (that being said the machine works fast and flawlessly). Please is there anyone who can help me get the transparency features for me OS. My pc specs are:

Dell dimension 2400
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1
Motherboard: Dell Computer Corp. 0G1548 (Microprocessor)
RAM: 2.00 GB DDR @ 166MHz
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 @ 3.06Ghz
Graphics card: Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller
Driver version

Thank you in advance

A:Windows display Driver Model prevents aero theme on 7 ultimate

Hate to say it but there is nothing you can do to get Aero working short of adding a Windows 7 compatible video card. Reason being is that the old Intel 845g chipset/video doesn't have the necessary hardware in it for Aero to work. Aero requires at a minimum DirectX 9, and that old Intel is DirectX 7 at best.

So no, there is no driver, hack or workaround to get it to work.

Hi, In my PC I have an Nvidia GeForce GTS250 1GB, I am looking at getting a new game 'King Arthur Fallen Champions', the sys req says recomended GPU is a 9800 GT 512MB. I have read in the web that some GTS250's are rebranded 9800's, this leads me to believe that the two cards are on par as far as performance? Am I correct, will my GTS250 have any issues running this game?

A:Nvidia old and new model comparison help please.

If I recall corrctly, the GTS250 is actually just slightly faster than the 9800GT.
Granted, its not by very much.

While that game does need the GPU power, its also more of a CPU heavy game.
But I think you'll be fine with your E8400.

The game isn't nearly as demanding as TW Empire for example.

Have you played the K.A Games before?
I can tell you right now, if you absolutely hate games like Rome Total War, you probably will not like it. If you do enjoy those type of games youll have fun with it.
They are much like a Total War game, only with RP elements. Its set up a bit different, but sorta has that TW gameplay feel to it.
I like it myself , but its not everyones cup of tea.

If you didnt realize, thats a stand alone expansion. Theres also the main game itself (King Arthur the Role Playing War Game)
I do not have the stand alone expansion myself, but I would guess that the full game may have more content.. not 100% sure though.

At any count, I think youll be fine.
You may not be able to have all settings at MAX, like view distances on a battlefield, but you should be able to play the game well.
Your system exceeds the Min requirement, and much closer to recommended.

I get this pop up message when I reboot, the message also "can't open ASmi Hw Io.dll. When I close them the computer seems to work OK. This happened after I installed the drivers from the motherboard ASUS A7N8X-X Deluxe.

A:Can't open kernal driver asLM75.sys

That is an error associated with the ASUS motherboard especially when you try to install their probe, figured out how to get rid of the error. You need to get into the registry. Regedit at the run box will launch the editor. Once you get into the editor, search for aslm75.sys. leave all boxes checked in the search window. it will then take you to the entry. You'll notice on the left window of the registry explorer a aslm75.sys folder. Delete that folder and you'll be all set to go.

Make sure you backup your registry before making any adjustments

While searching for Bluetooth connectivity, I discovered this newly installed program in Device Manager. What is this?

Google search seems to indicate it is W8 feature of unknown nature.

A:Microsoft Kernal Debug Network Driver

I have it too pappi! Apparently this is auto-installed if you have one of the NICs listed here:

Supported Ethernet NICs for Network Kernel Debugging in Windows 8

In my installation travels, I have uninstalled it without instance and I have left it installed without instance as well. Now, I still don't know exactly why its there but it is not an issue for me because it doesn't cause any problems. I'd just leave it alone.

I recently reformatted my computer's harddrive, and I've been working on getting everything back to it's normal working order. I'm having issues with my video card. It should be installed correctly, I haven't taken it out at all, and it worked a while before the reformat. I think I have the correct driver installed (This one).

But when I plug the monitor into the video card's plug, the monitor won't show anything, it's just blank with the little light, normally green, glowing orange. When I go to the System Information, the only video card that shows up is the one on the motherboard.

Am I using the correct driver? Any other possible solutions?

A:nVidia Riva TNT2 Model 64 issues

G'day Redalert95, I gather you have onboard video and that is working but your card is not. It is not a good idea to plug video leads if the machine is running, it could quite easily kill something.
It is possible that you may need to disable the onboard video in BIOS to allow the daughter card to operate.
This makes it odd that it may have changed from previous settings which were apparently working OK.
If this might be correct it may be pertinent to replace the battery at this time before going any further.
Your board manual BIOS settings should help determine what is happening. In some machines if you plug in a video card the onboard is automatically disabled, but your note does not infer this to be the case, therefore it seems you are going to have to carefully follow the BIOS set instructons in the manual. You likely have an onboard enable somewhere. The LED showing orange instead of green simply indicates no information is being received by the monitor.
You should not need any driver to be loaded to give your card operation for the monitor to operate in a basic mode.
The proper driver will only give the thing all the colours and abilities you are used to normally seeing.
Be extremely careful and ensure the power lead is removed anytime you plug items like cards, and ensure your follow antistatic rules.
Cheers, qldit.

This is what I have done so far:
Installed all latest Win 10 updates.Updated all the drivers as far as I can tell. What is the best (efficient) way to find out if everything is up to date? It took me ages to manually check them all.Ran memtest+ for 12 hours with no errors reported.Ran sfc, chkdsk, DISM, etc. and no issues reported.I tried to understand and use windfg to analyse the memory dump file.Obviously used internet/forum search function and understand/apply to my case but every case/spec is different.
I have narrowed this down to either CPU or M/B issue (I hope not as this is a new laptop) OR some corrupt/dodgy driver somewhere which I can't locate.

I have spent many many hours trying to do this but I am novice and struggling. Please can you take a look at my attached/uploaded files and make a recommendation?

I am trying to avoid having to re-install Win 10 if possible but it seems to be my only last step.

I have:
Attached my bluescreenview image:Uploaded my msinfo32, speccy xml snapshot and memory dump files here.Attached dm log zip file at end of post.

Any ideas please? But I also want to learn/understand so please can you explain what led you to your conclusion?

Hi guys,

First post here, as I've looked on the internet for a couple of weeks now and not found a definitive solution to my problem. About a month ago I was having problems with my drivers whereby I was crashing in games and sometimes even browsing the internet with a couple of tabs. The game would freeze up and then the graphics card would restore itself, but crash the game. This was usually followed by the blue screen error I am getting now soon afterwards. I have done a fresh reinstall of Windows 7 and it has been working fine up until two weeks ago whereby I get sporadic blue screens that occur whether I am on a game, have Chrome open or if I'm literally just sitting on my desktop doing nothing. So far I have tried disabling and deleting the currents settings for the Driver Verifier, but has done nothing. I am open to any suggestions or ways around this.

As a side note, sometimes when I blue screen my computer will reboot but the monitor will not load up properly. I am forced to manually switch off the computer, unplug the cable and hold the power button down for a while before plugging it back in and booting it up again, however this only happens half of the time. I have no idea what causes this.

-As a side note, if there are any files that I need to attach, I should be able to provide them. I have attempted to attach one of my crash dumps to this post but cannot get permission to access it (even after changing the permissions under its properties).... Read more

I have been getting BSOD's on my computer since June of 2011. I have pretty much added all new hardware to my PC other than my hardrive.
I have taken my computer to Best Buy for a diagnostics test in which they claim that they have checked my RAM, stressed test my hardrive, and even replaced my RAM with new sticks.
I am still getting BSOD"s after all the changes and still can't figure out why. The majority of the time I get it is from playing computer games from BF3, League of Legends, or Skyrim. After the initial BSOD my comp will freeze within 5 minutes of startup.
I don't know what to do anymore. Any information will help.

- x86 (32-bit) or x64 ?
Windows 7 x64bit
- the original installed OS on the system?
- an OEM or full retail version?
Full Retail

- What is the age of system (hardware)?
All the hardware stems from within the last 5 months. Video Card was bought in October 2011, and everything else from November 2011.

- What is the age of OS installation (have you re-installed the OS?)
I have re-installed the OS in December of 2011.

A:BSOD playing any type of game, kernal driver?

These crashes were probably caused by memory corruption/exception (probably a driver).
Please run these two tests to verify your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.

If you are overclocking anything reset to default before running these tests.
In other words STOP!!!

*Download a copy of Memtest86 and burn the ISO to a CD using Iso Recorder or another ISO burning program. Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

*Boot from the CD, and leave it running for at least 5 or 6 passes.

Just remember, any time Memtest reports errors, it can be either bad RAM or a bad motherboard slot.

Test the sticks individually, and if you find a good one, test it in all slots.

Any errors are indicative of a memory problem.

If a known good stick fails in a motherboard slot it is probably the slot.

RAM - Test with Memtest86+

Driver verifier

Using Driver Verifier is an iffy proposition. Most times it'll crash and it'll tell you what the driver is. But sometimes it'll crash and won't tell you the driver. Other times it'll crash before you can log in to Windows. If you can't get to Safe Mode, then you'll have to resort to offline editing of the registry to disable Driver Verifier.

So, I'd suggest that you first backup your stuff and then make sure you've got access to another computer so you can contact us if problems arise. Then make a System Restore point (so you can restore the system using the V... Read more

As for your other drivers; if they're not available from HP Support, you'll probably have to hunt them down from each hardware devices manufacturer website.
