Preferred Solution: Computer Freezing And Opnsqr Using Lots Of Cpu

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

I've been through hell trying to get my computer to stop freezing. My computer is custom built (three years old) and it never had any freezing problems until about half a year ago. This is what I've done to try and cure the problem.

- Uninstalled IE and replaced it with Mozilla FireFox (this seemed to help a bit because Mozilla isn't using nearly as much memory to run the browser)

- Bought RegCure and regularly use it

- De-fragmented my C: drive

- Uninstalled any unnecessary programs and applications

- Recently updated my video drivers

This is the deal. When idle, my computer never freezes. I can leave it on all night/day, whatever and it won't freeze. It seems to lock up when I'm actually using the computer, mainly when I'm browsing on the internet or using media devices. For example, sometimes I'll download a video to watch or tamper with iTunes and the computer will randomly just lock up and I'll have to restart. Sometimes it will lock up constantly after restarting, then other times I can go hours without any problems. Now what else can I do!? Please help! My Hijack logs never get any responses, so is there anything I can do? Thank you.

It appears that you have two antivirus programs installed and running, AVG and McAfee. While this may seem like better protection, they can actually conflict with one another and cause system instability or even system hangs. Please choose one to keep and uninstall the other via Add or Remove Programs in your Control Panel.

I suggest you uninstall McAfee. If you do uninstall McAfee, please do the following:

Please download the McAfee VirusScan Removal Tool VSCleanupTool.exe and Save it to your Desktop.Close all programs and double-click VSCleanupTool.exe then click Run
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Restart the computer if asked.
Then delete VSCleanupTool.exe from your desktop.

Please note that these fixes are not instantaneous. Most infections require more than one round to properly eradicate.

Please stay with me until given the 'all clear' even if symptoms seemingly abate.

Kindly follow my instructions and please do no fixing on your own or runn... Read more

HiI noticed that a service was using up heaps of resources and slowing my browsing down, and got a friend to look at the computer. He noted that opnsqr.exe was the culprit, and so we went around to removing it.Firstly we updated and scanned with NAV2004/AVG and also with Ad-Aware and Spybot, which found some spyware, but nothing related to opnsqr.exe.My friend checked the date stamp on opnsqr.exe and searched for any other files that might have been inadvertently downloaded; the only other was ops.dll. Thinking that just deleting these files would solve the problem, they were shredded in safe mode using Spybot.Upon restarting, opnsqr.exe was not recreated, but other problems aroused:network connectivity (no IP address can be assigned to me by the network)NAV2004 auto-protect fails (Common Client problem or something)AVG e-mail scanner fails also. So, we pretty much don't know what to do from here, and have attached a HJT log for your perusal. Thanks very much for any help you could offer.Cheers,TimLogfile of HijackThis v1.99.1

Hi timjung,It is not a good idea to have multiple anti virus products running. These programs get in each other's way. Use just one as an "On Access" scanner. You can keep the other one for "On Demand" scanning.Download WinSockFix and LSPFix.Start the application, and click the "I know what I'm doing" checkbox. Check all instances of c:\windows\system32\opls.dll (and nothing else), and move them to the "Remove" pane. Then click Finish and reboot.Check your internet connection and verify that it is working. In rare instances LSPFix may break your connection. If this happens, run WinSockFix to repair it.Can you undo what you did?O4 - Startup: WASTE.lnk = C:\Program Files\WASTE\WASTE.exeWhat is this program?Afterwards post a fresh log from HijackThis.

I tend to think that there may be some incompatible hardware on your system because of the random errors that are being generated. Your drivers appear updated and there don't appear to be any known incompatible programs installed.

I have big folders of bookmarks with folders with bookmarks in them. Every time I go to delete a folder with around 600 bookmarks in it, my browser freezes. (Mainly firefox but I think other browsers freeze too) I know the common sense would be to go bookmark by bookmark etc but that would literally take me a year. Is there any way to get around this problem at all?

Thank you!

A:Browsers keep freezing deleting lots of bookmarks

I don't know in what version this was introduced, but if you go to Organize Bookmarks in the Bookmarks menu you can open the folders and multi select with the Control or Shift keys. If you selected 10 at a time it'll go faster than if you did it one by one, but should be less likely to freeze.

Hi
For the last few weeks, everytime I turn on my computer, about 10 error messages come up. It's the same error message that looks like this:
*If you want to read what the error message says, click the photo and then click the expand button in the bottom right corner to read it*

I would click "close" and the message would keep popping up but then disappear after a while.
My computer has also been acting very slow while on the internet, sometimes it would freeze and I wouldn't be able to click anything. While it freezes, it would make this beeping noise repeatedly until it unfreezes too.

Is my computer infected with a virus? What does the error message mean? How can I solve these problems and what do you think all of this is caused from?

Thanks!

Let me just explain the situation here a little bit

Ever since Saturday morning, my computer has been acting real funny. If I was to move my mouse from the left side of the screen to the right, then about every two seconds, the cursor hangs and the comp freezes, and then picks up again. If there's any audio or video playing, then about every two seconds it freezes and picks back up again. When I start up XP on the windows loading screen, it used to take about 20 seconds top until the login screen appeared, now it takes about 3-4 minutes. I tried to access safe mode, and that took a few tries, when the computer finaly didn't freeze, safe mode was just as slow, but the hanging problem wasn't there

The online scan can't be completed cause it freezes my computer about 5 minutes into it (The bottom bar stops responding, the one with all my open windows) and I have to alt + tab between windows, but those are mostly not responding anways ^_^

The only thing that I can thing of is that I was downloading a movie called "The Island" friday night and when I tried watchin it saturday...well lets just say that it certainly wasn't the movie that had Obi-Wan (Ewan Mcgreggor) in it, and I believe that may have been the cause of my problem, that the .avi download had some kind of virus on it

Its a neighbor of mine I help them take care of their computer all the time.

The problem is the screen freezing randomly, it might be in 3 min might be 5 or 10 or 25, it does it after it has been turned off for awhile or all night or when you have been on it for awhile or quite awhile. Point being its not heating up cause it does it when it has been off for hours them 3 or 4 min after it is turned on or sometime it might be 2 hours after you turn it on. I had a thread a couple of weeks ago about this same computer I came to the conclusion that it was the Powersupply, so I put in a brand new 400W powersupply and it ran great (no freeze ups for a few days then all of a sudden it started in again).

The mouse freezes so they can't do anything but shut it down at the tower so I gave them another usb mouse tonight and told them when it freezes to unplug there mouse and put the new usb mouse in and see it it works right away then it would be the mouse. I have great doubts about it being that but I am at witts end. I consider myself pretty good at fixing computers hardware and software problems but I am lost. I have no idea. I looked in the divice manager everything is ok, checked the events and nothing happening there. I know the computer is clean of viruses or spyware cause I keep it clean for them monthly.

A:Solved: Windows XP SP2- Screen freezing-no pattern- but lots- Can someone help? Pleas

The first thing that comes to mind with older machines is overheating. They can accumulate a lot of dust (even in the cleanest places) and fans can get bogged down. Check all your air intakes and remove dust from the interior. Make sure that all fans are moving (including the one on the graphics card, if present).

While inside, check all your connectiuons and make sure the graphics card is firmly in its slot.

If that doesn't help, try a memory test:

MemScope (Floppy and CD images.)
Microsoft Memory Test (floppy or CD ISO image)
Memtest86

If you have enough memory sticks, you can test them by removing one at a time and see if the problem disappears.

If you are running Vista and can boot up, go to Start > Search and type:

mdsched.exe

Choose to run a memory diagnostic on next boot. Or, you can boot from the DVD and run it from there.

Specs:
i7 bloomfield 960 processor
4x4 vengeance ram
crosair hx850 PSU
evga x58 ftw3 mobo
hd 6870 radeon graphics xfx

When I first installed windows it started to work just fine but I soon noticed that it would randomly freeze every 15-30 minutes of use, but not on a particular program or anything. I assumed it was drivers so I installed the latest drivers for my GPU and MOBO and keyboard. It seemed fine again until it started crashing again. I ran a GPU burn test and a CPU burn test it passed both... (I tried runing memtest86+ but it froze at like 12%) Then I tried fixing the registry so I downloaded ccleaner and fixed the registry problems. Freezes continued. I finally decided to re install windows so I did and the problems still continued. I am at a loss of what to do and can't think of anything else.

any advice would be appreciated if not I will bring to a repair shop and have them sort it out.

A:Newly built computer random freezing and freezing on starting windows

Hello Skytri and welcome to Seven Forums. My usual disclaimer: I'm not at expert at anything.

I'm wondering if there isn't a RAM problem. Perhaps one of the sticks wasn't seated properly, etc. You could open Resource Monitor > Memory tab and make sure all RAM is being recognized. Make sure Installed = 16384MB and the Available + Cached + Hardware Reserved is the same amount. (You are using 16GB total, correct?)

Resource Monitor

If Memtest freezes you could try a quick check for a bad RAM module. Install one stick in Slot # 1 (or whichever slot the mobo manual says to use.) Run the computer to test for freezes. Test each of the remaining sticks one at a time. If all 4 sticks work you might want to go through these troubleshooting guides. They are time consuming but many people have been able to isolate their computer problems.

Hello,

I'm going to post two different scenarios that happens when my computer needs a hard restart
My computer freezes completely (literally no movement on the screen or anything, it's not slow it's frozen). And an extremely loud buzzing sound comes out of my headphones or speakers. The same thing as above except without the loud buzzing noise.

I saw that this happened to someone else who had both the speakers and the headphones plugged in at the same time. However, scenario #2 just happened to me 10 minutes ago even though I only had my headphones plugged in.

I built this computer six months ago and it's the first computer I've ever built. I assume it's a driver issue but I can't really pinpoint the problem since no BSOD appears on the screen and I have no higher computer knowledge.

I'm attaching the zip file required.

Thanks,

A:Random Computer Freezing - Need to hard restart after freezing No BSOD

Wow, this sounds like the same thing that happened to a friend of mine when his hard drive was failing. Replaced the drive and the freezes went away. Even the buzzing noise.

Also you may need to look at what drivers you may have just install/updated.

Hoping you don't have any failing hardware "Motherboard, video card, etc". Those are expensive

A:Computer Freezing; Slowing Down. But mostly freezing. I have my HiJackThis! Log File.

I don't see anything in your log or your description of your problem to come to the conclusion that your problem is malware related. When there is malware present there will always be other internet related symptoms like popups or a browser hijack etc...

I will advise you to uninstall Microsoft Anti-Spyware as the version you have is very old and no longer supported. It in now called Windows Defender.

Here are some routine maintenance practices that you should do on a regular basis to keep your machine running efficiently. Go through this now and see if it helps:

Disk Cleanup:

http://www.theeldergeek.com/disk_cleanup_utility.htm

Defrag your HD:

http://artsweb.bham.ac.uk/artsit/Info/Guides/GoodPractice/defrag-win2kxp.htm

Run chkdsk:

To use Chkdsk, click Start and My Computer. Right-click the hard drive you want to check, and click Properties. Select the Tools tab and click Check Now. Check both boxes. Click Start. You'll get a message that the computer must be rebooted to run a complete check. Click Yes and reboot. Chkdsk will take awhile, so run it when you don't need to use the computer for something else.

Remove unnecessary startups

This should be done through the System Configuration Utility. Go to Start > Run and type in msconfig.
Click OK or hit the Enter key.

Click on the "Startup" tab and remove the check by the items that you have determined are unnecessary. Click "Apply" then "Close"

You will be prompted to ... Read more

Hello, I'm having an issue with my computer.

My computer has started to restart/freeze up on me. The thing is, it has graphical issues once it freezes/tries to reboot. I get all these lines through the screen, graphical glitches when trying to go through the BIOS, etc. The computer isn't too slow, it isn't acting strange, the only thing that is wrong is the obvious freezing/restarting with graphical lines and glitches once it freezes.

My video card has been going out for a long time(I share a computer with a few people and they seem to think the video card is ok, but I have always seen small glitches in graphics here and there), so I am thinking maybe this might be a problem, given the graphical glitches, the horizontal lines going through the screen once it freezes.

When it hits the BIOS, it sometimes shows these same lines with the screen going mostly black.

System specs are:

CPU - Core 2 Duo, speed I don't remember.

Video Card - Geforce 7900 GT 512mb

Ram - 2GB DDR2

Motherboard - Asus, P5N-E SLI

I got this computer a few years back and I am not one to keep updated with specs or talk about them often, so I have forgotten the speed of the CPU and I do not know if I am missing information for you guys.

Solutions I have tried:

Overheating - I used air to filter out all dust/dirt that might be there to harm the computer, I have plenty of fans in there, etc.

Any and all help will be appreciated, Thank you.

A:Solved: Computer Freezing/freezing/graphical glitchs

If you're getting graphical 'glitches' while in bios, that's usually a good sign that your graphics card is having issues - however, I have seen this happen with faulty ram. I'd recommend reseating the cards (ensure your computer is off and unplugged whilst doing so) and see if that helps

Hello,

ComboFix is frequently updated.

Please delete your existing version. Grab a new copy from one of the links below.

This machine does not have the Windows XP Recovery Console installed.

The Windows recovery console will allow you to boot up into a special recovery mode that allows us to help you in the case that your computer has a problem after an attempted removal of malware.

With malware infections being as they are today, it's strongly recommended to have this pre-installed on your machine before doing any malware removal.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Before beginning the fix, read this post completely. If there's anything that you do not understand, kindly ask your questions before proceeding.

It is IMPORTANT that you don't miss a step & perform everything in the correct order/sequence.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please do this:
Download ComboFix from one of these locations:

Link 1
Link 2
Link 3

* IMPORTANT !!! Place combofix.exe on your Desktop

Go to Microsoft's website => http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310994
Select the download that's appropriate for your Operating System

For you, it would be:

Microsoft Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2

I ran memtest and it seemed to freeze up during memtest. the little blinking icon was normal, but the test wasnt running and the commands didnt work.

Hello Bleepers! You have helped me in the past and I am back. This time, this is my mom's computer and she didn't have a firewall (until now) and so this thing was infected beyond anything I have seen!I will be posting the log below, but first let me tell you a few things. I did follow the preparation instructions as best as I could, however, there were certain things I could not do.Ad-Aware:I kept running Ad-Aware and rebooting and it kept finding 50+ new critical items every time. I then disconnected the internet access to the computer and ran it. This way I got it down to 2 entries it said it couldn't removed and it couldn't remove them even after restarting.Spybot:A similar thing happened with Spybot, except I connected to the internet only to download the software and updates and disconnected to do the scan and fixes. Spybot also said it couldn't fix certain items, EVEN AFTER doing it during rebooting.I then ran HouseCall, Bit Defender and Avert Stinger (Panda was taking too long and I wasn't sure if it was stalled). Then, I installed ZoneAlarm and Finally ran HijackThis.Hopefully you can help me get this thing cleaned up and it top shape soon! Hello,We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1 for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.Click here to get Service Pack 1Warning: You must only update to Service Pack 1, and not Service Pack 2. Doing this before your computer is clean can cause Windows to become unstable. We will update to SP2 after the log is clean. After you have updated your computer to SP1, please restart your computer and post a new HJT log.

Hi,

I sure need help  --- I do not know how to deal with viruses, trojans, spyware, etc.

My husband and I were traveling. We had to use public Wifi places to check our email on our laptop. when we got home and checked our email accounts on our laptops, we found some really weird looking email messages. I 'think' my husband opened one that had his name in the Subject line, but we deleted all he other ones that looked strange. We did not open those emails, just deleted them.

Now all 3 of our computers are doing really weird things. I have run scan after scan after scan, both downloaded one and online ones. Sometimes they find problems and fix them. sometimes the scans find nothing. Yet our problems just seem to be getting worse and worse. I DESPERATELY need a lot of help.

I know it would be very confusing to try to work on all 3 of our computers at once so maybe we can start with my husband's desktop computer.

I am currently running Avast on it and it has been running for hours. It is find TONS of things like these ----

"...is infected by win32:Funweb-K [Pup}"

"...is infected by JS: ScriptIP-inf [Trj}

etc, etc, etc.

I have very little knowledge of how to fix a computer problem and no idea what to do. And I have absolutely NO idea how our desktops became infected from our lap top.

Is anyone willing to help me? I know it is bad and will probably take a long time to fix, but I need help... Read more

In Bit Defender, do a Live Update of your virus and software definitions. That should update you to the latest version. Or post to their forum, you will get a better response then in this general Microsoft Forum. or better yet, uninstall it and use Avast Free version and or Microsoft Security Essentials.

Hello,* Download Combofix to your desktop.Doubleclick combofix.exeFollow the prompts.Don't click on the window while the fix is running, because that will cause your system to hang. When finished and after reboot (in case it asks to reboot), combofix will open again to gather the necessary information for the log. This may take a bit. When done, Combofix will close and a log should open, combofix.txt. Post the contents of this log in your next reply together with a new hijackthislog.Do NOT post the ComboFix-quarantined-files.txt - unless I ask you to.

My name is Katana and I will be helping you to remove any infection(s) that you may have.

Please observe these rules while we work:
1. If you don't know, stop and ask! Don't keep going on.
2. Please reply to this thread. Do not start a new topic.
3. Please continue to respond until I give you the "All Clear"
(Just because you can't see a problem doesn't mean it isn't there)

If you can do those three things, everything should go smoothly :D

I apologize for the delay in responding, but as you can probably see the forums are quite busy
and sometimes a post manages to slip by us.
Unfortunately there are far more people needing help than there are helpers.
Download and Run ComboFix (by sUBs)
Please visit this webpage for instructions for downloading and running ComboFix:

Post the log from ComboFix when you've accomplished that, along with a new HijackThis log.

Hi there everyone, I need immediate help!
For a while now I have been having this bug where my computer just keeps constantly typing zero's like this "000000000000000000000000000000000000000" without me doing anything.

A few points I should mention

1.IT IS NOT THE KEYBOARD!!!!!!!!
-I have unplugged the keyboard and the problem still persists

2.The issue normally starts after watching a movie, a long video or after playing a game.

3.My antivirus software couldn't find anything.

4.It is always fixed with a good ol' restart but it is REALLY annoying to do this.

Please if you know what the problem is or if you have any ideas on how to fix it PLEASE post a reply! Thanks in advance for everybody's help.

A:Computer keeps typing LOTS of zero's!

Sounds almost like the memory modules are storing data while they're being stressed buffering the movie, video, etc. So I think I'd remove the module(s) and try reseating. If you have two modules or more, install just one and run the computer for a while to see if everything works. Then try the next module. Sometimes you can determine if one is bad. If all modules seem to work individually, reinstall all of them and run a stress test like Memtest86+.

Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

You can also check CPU, mobo etc with another tool called Prime95.

Problem: Internet Explorer won't open any webpages. There's something (I believe it's some kind of spyware) that's redirecting all the web pages to diffrerent places (on the status bar, it's going from one website to another when I type in one website, like google). I did many spyware scans and many anti-virus scan, and removed alot of spywares already, but it's still not clean. Please help! Here's the Hijackthis log:

A zipped version is available here:

1. Save it to your desktop.
2. Right-click DelDomains.inf and select: Install (no need to restart).
3. You may not see any noticeable changes or prompts - this is normal.

If you downloaded the zipped file, extract it to your desktop, then right-click DelDomains.inf and select Install.

Note: This .inf file will remove ALL entries in the Trusted Zone and Restricted Zone. Any entries that you had will need to be entered again. You will have to reimmunize with SpywareBlaster, and/or Spybot after doing this, and reinstall IESpyads if you use any of these programs.

Since yesterday I have been having lots of problems with my computer. None of the USB ports work, Windows is saying I have no internet connection (I do), Action Centre is saying my anti-virus is turned off (it isn't), Office 2010 keeps asking me for the activation code, even though I activate it when I bought the product. When I try to see system information (RAM, processor, etc...) Windows tells me it is unavailable. I have tried using System Restore, but it keeps giving me this error message:

System Restore does not appear to be functioning correctly on this system.

A Volume Shadow Copy Service component encountered an unexpected error. Check the Application event log for more information. (0x80042302)

Here are the system specs:

Motherboard:
ASUS M4A78LT-M

Power Supply:
G7 Power Extreme 880W

RAM:
16GB Corsair RAM

Processor:
AMD Athlon II Quad Core

Graphics Card:
ATI Radeon HD 5570 2GB

OS:
Windows 7 Home Edition SP1

The computer shows no signs of slowdown. It is worth noting that everything works perfectly on my Linux partition, so I know it's a Windows based problem. I went to the hardware forum to get help with the USB ports, and we worked out it was probably a virus, so they told me to come to this forum. Any help would be much appreciated!

I don't know what is going on here, but I am having a lot of PUPs in my computer, a lot of unwanted programs and stuff popping up once in a while and I don't know why they are coming

It started some time ago and at first it was once in a while (mostly I guess due to some update to a video editor I (used to) use). But now, it's nearly every day...

Is that somethign that came with some software I installed? Or they are using some 'exploit' or soemthign like that? So far, Avast, MBam or SUPERantispyware did not caught anything different like a malware.

A:Lots of PUPS at my computer

Use the programs below to find and remove adware and malware. I know you said you have MBAM installed but
please rerun it using the settings below.

Use CCleaner to remove Temporary files, program caches, cookies, logs, etc. Use the Default settings. No need to use the
Registry Cleaning Tool...risky. Pay close attention while installing and UNcheck offers of toolbars....especially Google.
After install, open CCleaner and run by clicking on the Run Cleaner button in the bottom right corner.
CCleaner - PC Optimization and Cleaning - Free Download

Once MBAM opens, when it says Your databases are out of date, click the Fix Now button.
Click the Settings tab at the top, and then in the left column, select Detections and Protections, and if not already checked place a checkmark in the selection box for Scan for rootkits.
Click the Scan tab at the top of the program window, select Threat Scan and click the Scan Now button.
If you receive a message that updates are available, click the Update Now button (the update will be downloaded, installed, and the scan will start).
When MBAM is finished scanning it will display a screen that displays any malware that it has detected.
Click the Remove Selected button.
MBAM will now delete all of the files and registry keys and add them to the programs quarantine. When removing the files, MBAM may require a reboot in order to remove some of them. If it displays a message stating that it needs to reboot, please allow it to do so.

Since some time ago, lots of bluescreens and crashes are appearing on my computer.
Here is it's configuration:

-Windows 7 Ultimate Retail;
- Avast Antivirus

A:Lots of bluescreens when normally using my computer

Hello Digmoons and welcome to Sevenforums.

I'm getting a little bit suspicious looking at your Hardware configuration. I've been looking around Microsoft's recommendations on installing Windows 7 on systems as yours. Your .nfo that you provided, informs that the BIOS is from 2007, which we'd usually say is old, and should be updated.
However, it seems like on ASUS' website, there's no such thing as upgrading a BIOS, which works properly with Windows 7. It's certainly not one of my best quotes, but I'd maybe consider to downgrade your system, do things like Windows XP. Tough, it'd recommend you do run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor tool.

Microsoft Upgrade Advisor

The Advisor is a great too to track down hardware, devices and even drivers that are compatible with Windows 7, or not. If you want to check out this manually, go to their website, where you can type in your own Hardware, and check if it works with Windows 7 or not.

Windows 7 Compatibility Center

There's a few things to consider here.

BSOD Analyse

Update this driver

Code:
25-11-2010 06:13:05 C:\Windows\system32\DRIVERS\RTL8192su.sys
There's a newer version of this available.
RTL8192su.sys (direct link)

It'd honestly consider to downgrade to another OS. Windows 7 is in my opinion too required on your system, most of your drivers are very old and shouldn't be used within Windows 7. Your dump contains more blamed drivers than I can count. Run the Advisor first.

Best Regards,
Frederik.

trojans in business computer
We bought a new businss and this computer came with it. When we added internet, we found that start up was real slow and sluggish. The operating system is Windows XP Professional, computer is a Seanix QAC00282, Intel Celeron Processor. The virus protection was AVG, the free and limited version. We found that we were getting many pop ups on the internet, uninstalled AVG and added Telus anti virus. When running a scan telus found the following trojans.

Trojan-Downloader.Win32.BHO.afp
C;\systemvolumeinformation\-restore there are three with this information

C:\windows\system32\fizetuwa.dll
C:\windows\system32\mokufumi.dll
C:\windows\system32\werenago.dll

These have been quarantined by Telus.
I ran hijact this and I am enclosing the information that was reported from this.
I am thinking that if this is going to be a long process of removing these trojans that it would be easier to just reformat the entire computer.
Any advise would be appreciated, hopefully this log will give you the information that can help me resolve this issue.

A:Lots of trojans in computer

I posted a few days back and assume because I mentioned a business computer that no one replyed. This computer is no longer used for this purpose, we just need to clean it up. We got the computer when we purchased the business, not using it for business.
The problem is that we have pop ups, the computer runs slow, and there are six trojans quarantined, I don't know if I can delete them or not. There is another one as well that I don't believe is in quarantine.
The computer is Seanix, running Windows XP Professional and Intel.

I really need someone to help with this issue, I wanted to reformat and it will not even allow me to run xp boot up.

Following is the log, hopefully someone will answer this. I have looked at many of the other posts but not sure if I should follow the same guidelines.

Thanks, here is the log
