I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Log into your Router setup and see if you are using the B or G or N settings. If using N, try G. If your using automatic, try B/G setting. etc. Reset the WPA-2 password.

Hi all,
My dad recently brought a Belkin N+ wireless modem router for my parents home and asked me to set it up for him (as he is not very tech-savy). I set the router up with no problems whilst the rents were away in Malta on holiday and had no problems for about 4 days.

When they arrived back the internet was still fine until the next day when for no apparent reason the connection dropped and i had to power cycle it to make it work again. Now at least once a say the router will drop the connection and i have no idea why. I have tried every logical combination of settings and i cannot stop it from dropping the connection.

I've called up Belkin tech support but they were useless and told me to try everything I have already tried which is:

Static IP.
Fixed DNS.
Power cycling.
Firmware update.
Checking the log file.
Restoring defaults.
Turning the firewall off.
Adding MAC addresses of the relevant computers to the routers "safe" list.
Port forwarding ...

And the list goes on.

All i can think of now is to call BT and post my Router settings here (these are the most stable settings i've found so far).
Can someone please check out these settings and make sure i haven't done somethign incredibly stupid? I am a software engineering student and fairly confident of my abilities but it would be nice to have another opinion (not Belkins).

There THe belkin modem/gateway shouldnt limit your speed capabilities. You should be able to find the speed listed inside the modem's status page. To do this..
Click start>run>In run type CMD
In the black window type IPCONFIG and then enter. Note down your default gateway.
Open a browser window and enter the gateway's address into it. Click go
This should take you to your gateways graphical user interface.
Look for a status tab or see if it lists connection speeds on the general page.

Also you can test speeds at different sites. Google search broadband speed test and choose 1 of the millions of sites

well check and make sure your network security settings are all right and in place. Also, check the wireless settings on the laptop and make sure it is always set to connect your "home" network or wherever the network may be located. You might try resetting the settings to default also and try connecting everything again. Keep in mind you will probably have to re-enter any custom settings such as network name, passphrase for the network and also set up the proper security settings. I cant help you with the security settings however as i do not know how the belkin routers are set up.Post back here if needed.

The Internet on our westell modem model 6100; would cut out. It would flash on then flash off. And sometimes it would turn red. We have a asante rotuer coming off of the modem and thats how i would connect. But since i moved my computer back upstairs I am now connected threw our Belkin wireless router model F5D8230-4 v2. So the modem hasn't screwed up lately since i moved upstairs. But now our Belkin is. It will reset like atleast 15 times in one day. So thats very frustrating to deal with. But now the internet has gone very slow. I have no idea why. I "restore to default" on Belkin and Westell. And there both slow, and the Belkin is still reseting. my ISP is frontier. I am getting a new Belkin wireless router/modem in one, model F5D8236-4. I am also connected threw Ethernet and when I connect with my iPod on to the Belkin router it is slow!
So if you need anything thing to assist you in helping me just tell me.

Hi,

Came across a problem today I simply cannot understand. Setup a wireless connection between a laptop and a base unit - both using Win XP Home via a Belkin 54g ADSL Router

The base unit was physically connected to the router and the laptop, via wireless.

Both machines were setup via WEP 64-bit encryption.
Both machines were able to connect to the internet.
Both machines were able to share files between each other.
Wireless laptop was able to print via the network.

As far as I was concerned, job done, all OK.

Until the customer called me later on to tell me that ..... when he takes out the power cable from the laptop, he cannot get a wireless connection ??? The machine cannot find any network even.

Went through some checks over the telephone, still couldn't get it connected.

Put the power cable back into the laptop - after a short while, it found the network - connected again.

Never came across anything like this before. What has the network connection got to do with the power cable? Maybe it is something very simple - but I have never experineced this problem before.

So If you can help - i'd appreciate it.
Mac.

I recently bought a Nintendo DS for online gaming, and so when I couldn't get it online (Error code 52100, Nintendo's site not helping) I tried everything. Last week, I typed my own IP into IE and got my router page, then seen "Turn into Access Point" or something meaning change, and then it asked me to type a ???.???.???.??? style number into the IP box on that page. So I did and then it came up loading in top right hand corner. I waited and nothing so I F5'd it, then I lost my connection.

Then for a week I could only get internet (Wired) on my Xbox and neither Wireless nor Wired on anything else. But a few days ago, I read the customer support (MS, the one preloaded on the computers) and it said something about changing your IP settings, so I followed those steps and found my computer only wanted to use the DNS ___.___.___.___ the underscores being blanks. So I made it revert to what it should be with a reset button or whatever it was and now I get my Wired connection back on my Laptop.

But still when I hooked everything back up, no internet or network light on my wireless router.

Sorry for blabbing, but I really need it and after also recently buying an iPod Touch, really would like my Wi-Fi back.

Thanks,
Jameseh

Please supply the following info, exact make and models of the equipment please.

Name of your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
Make and exact model of the broadband modem.
Make and exact model and hardware version of the router (if a separate unit).
Model numbers can usually be obtained from the label on the device.
Connection type, wired or wireless.
If wireless, encryption used, (none, WEP, WPA, or WPA2)
Version and patch level of Windows on all affected machines, i.e. XP (Home or Pro), SP1-SP2-SP3, Vista (Home, Business, Ultimate), etc.
The Internet Browser in use, IE, Firefox, Opera, etc.

Please give an exact description of your problem symptoms, including the exact text of any error messages.

If you're using a wireless connection, have you tried a direct connection with a cable to see if that changes the symptoms?
For wireless issues, have you disabled all encryption on the router to see if you can connect that way?
Have you connected directly to the broadband modem to see if this is a router or modem/ISP issue?
If there are other computers on the same network, are they experiencing the same issue, or do they function normally?

...before I trash it!

Hi folks!

I've just bought a Belkin ADSL Modem with High Speed Wireless G-router. The networking bit ( = filesharing ) to my other PC = no probs, using the same company's wireless USB adapter, but I can NOT get it to connect to my Tiscali Internet account, and I'm on the point of putting it through the window.

On the grounds that I think new forum users like me should search to see if the question has already been asked/answered before, I did a search and did see that a chap called Diamond Geez had a very similar problem in July, but sadly I've not been able to get the solution offered to him to work in my case.

The scenario is that I've put my user-name and password in the appropriate boxes on the router's web-based set-up screen, and dispite the fact it's home page confirms the correct upstream/downstream figures and both modem-lights are illuminated green on the front of the modem/router, I cannot get it to connect, always showing "NO connection" in red at the top of the screen.

I've tried various options such as alternating the connection-type from PPPoE to PPPoA (and back again), I've tried LLC and VC/MUX encapsulation, all to no avail.

I have DHCP Server enabled on the LAN setup, I have DNS ticked as "Automatic from ISP"...I'm coming to the end of my thether!

Any geniuses any ideas before I set fire to the bloody thing?

Really, REALLY appreciated!

Hi everyone.

I work as a tech consultant, and I am stumped on this one.

I am working at a clients house. She has purchased DSL sevice though a hole-in-the-wall company called superpa.net.

They have given me particular parameters to make the computer connect to their POS system.

Set IP Address: 192.168.1.3
Set Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Preferred DNS Server: 63.169.216.98 alternate 204.117.214.10
Well that is all fine a good and the computer connects just great. But my client just bought a new laptop and wants wireless. Wireless is simple, well it should be.

I got her a basic Linksys Wireless-G WRT54G Router. Nothing Fancy.

Now obviously, the router must use the same setting as the computer. So I went in to the Config, and made it a static ip with all of the listed above. I changed the computer back to the auto obtain ip address and dns server, but I HAVE NOTHING!

The modem shows a conncetion to the router, and her computer shows a connection the router, but there is NO activity between the modem and router. No activity=No Internet
I called Linksys, they told me to contact my ISP, then called Superpa.net, they said they dont do any support for wireless, only for one hardlined computer. They would sent someone out to fix it $200/service call + $60/hour... I said forget it.

Anyone with any suggestions or solutions... I would be much abliged!!!!

Thanks,
Chris

I trust that you power cycled the modem when switching from computer to router.

If the Linksys LAN defaults to 192.168.1.x, change it to 192.168.0.x.

EDIT: and clone the computer's MAC address to the router.

I'm having problems with my internet connection and modem/router. It's an Actiontec gt704wg, which serves as both a modem and wireless router. One computer is connected directly to the router and 2 others use wireless. The connection just randomly cuts off, the internet light goes blank, the dsl light flashes, and then it takes about 15-25 seconds to reconnect. I get tons of static on my phones, and the frequency of disconnecting goes up whenever i get/make a phone call. In addition, when I connect the other computers wirelessly, i get tremendous delays and more disconnections, and it takes several minutes to reconnect. The router's not old, about a year, and I've had no problems with it until recently. I've changed all my dsl phone filters, so I know it's not that. Can anyone help me?

A:internet connection, Router/modem problems

It sounds to me like something wrong with the router or, less likely, wireless interference. Looking at the second one first, do you detect any other wireless networks on your same or close to your channel? Any 2.4Ghz cordless phone?

Next I suggest looking for a firmware update for the router. And my final (at least for now) suggestion is to reset the router to factory default settings and reconfigure.

I have a belkin wireless router/modem. I keep main pc hard wired and others wireless.

If I leave it ovenight for example and do not use it for a few hours, I tend (not always) to get disconnected ,

PWR light = on
SYN light = on
DATA light = off
WLAN light = on

The only way to get all 4 lights back on is to restart the router by logging in and clicking restart or switch on and off.

All I get from belkin is update firmware. Is this an issue with the router or the ISP? I am with Tiscali business package, unlimited download.

Did you? My son has one of these and has not had this experience.

With all computers powered off (wireless too), then the DATA light should show
traffic on the net (ie: other users in the area) and the other lights solid on.

>I am with Tiscali ...
It is always possible for the ISP to reset connections and there are serveral
reason why, but on the whole, they would very much like NOT to have this
occur. It's just too disruptive and causes complaints like yours.

Hi everyone

This is my first post to the forum and by looking at some of the information available on the site - this is the place to be!!

I have just purchased this router to update my old ADSL usb modem following an upgrade to Windows Vista.

Although I have the router working in most aspects, there is one area where which I find confusing. I cannot seem to find a way of connecting automatically to the Internet.

At present I open Internet Explorer, type in 192.168.2.1 and connect from the set up screen.

Can anyone tell me if there is a method of making this connection set on computer start up?

Although I have been a PC user for some years, my experience on the networking side is very limited and is quite new territory for me.

Hope you can help.

The connection has got nothing to do with the computer starting up at all. Your computer is always connected to the router and that's all your conmputer has to know. It's the router's problem how to connect to the internet.

You should have a "connect on demand" or "auto connect" setting somewhere in the router setup. This tells the router to keep the connection alive no matter if a computer is turned on or not.

I have just bought a Belkin N Wireless Modem Router F5D8636uk4A (to replace a faithful older Belkin wireless unit which finally died the other day). I have it connected to one laptoprunning Vista and another XP.

The connection to the router is fine. However, quite regularly, I am unable to connect to webpages even though the connection to the router is still there and I can, for eg, send and receive email. This then necessitates a restart of the router which clears the problem till the next time.

I have had three online chats with Belkin who have recommended restoring the router to factory condition and then restarting (which I have done). Their final suggestion was that the router was faulty. It may be but I suspect that there is some simple setting which needs to be tweaked.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks in advance!

The following query involves the following products:

- Linksys ADSL2MUE Modem
- Belkin F5C7230-4 Router

We have been tackling support lines for both Linksys and Belkin for the past 3 hours and we have finally got somewhere, but with no absolute success. We have opened apropriate ports to our 'server' which will rely on the external IP address.

Unfortunately dispite the external IP' address' existance, it points to the modem and not the router. We tested this by allowing remote administration of the modem and router, the modem took priority. It seems to reject the router even though we have a connection to the internet.

Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I've trawled the net for ages but have found nothing. I believe I have a unique situation here and would love some help from some net savvy people. I have strong computing skills, but keep away from networks if possible. Hope someone here can help, would really appreciate it.

Here's my current setup:
- HP Pavillion Laptop with Windows 7
- Receiving internet from a USB connected wireless modem (Huawei model E160E)
It all works well, internet is fine, I'm happy.

Why I want to share this network connection:
I have a couple of iphones and a Nintendo Wii and we would like to connect them to the the laptops internet connection.

Other things I've tried first:

You enable Internet Connection Sharing on the internet connection and configure the Belkin as follows.

JohnWill's procedure (Aug. 30, 2008) for configuring a secondary router as a switch and, optionally, wireless access point follows.

Connecting two (or more) SOHO broadband routers together.

Note: The "primary" router can be an actual router, a software gateway like Microsoft Internet Connection Sharing, or a server connection that has the capability to supply more than one IP address using DHCP server capability. No changes are made to the primary "router" configuration.

Configure the IP address of the secondary router(s) to be in the same subnet as the primary router, but out of the range of the DHCP server in the primary router. For instance DHCP server addresses 192.168.0.2 through 192.168.0.100, I'd assign the secondary router 192.168.0.254 as it's IP address, 192.168.0.253 for another router, etc.

Note: Do this first, as you will have to reboot the computer to connect to the router again for the remaining changes.

Disable the DHCP server in the secondary router.

Setup the wireless section just the way you would if it was the primary router, channels, encryption, etc.

Connect from the primary router's LAN port to one of the LAN ports on the secondary router. If there is no uplink port and neither of the routers have auto-sensing ports, use a cross-over cable. [You will not need a cross-over cable if one of the "routers... Read more

In order to connect the modem/router the instructions say to open internet explorer and go to 192.168.2.1 and follow the intructions on screen, but i cant do this as it simply tries to open my old ADSL Connection and get on the internet that way -which icant as it is disconnected due to the new one being plugged in - whereas it should just automatically go to the welcome page for the installation of this modem. I did try on my laptop and initially it found the unsecure connection but then didnt again after that when i tried to set it up primarily on my laptop ... it just kept losing the connection and finding otehr secured connections in the area.

I am at my wits end with this one ... I have no idea what has happened to my ethernet controller on PC(it's not there in my network connections) and it's just not recognising the Belkin modem no matter what i do. Can anyone give me some pointers as to what i need to do? Any help would be much obliged ... and if any more info needed then dont hesitate to ask....

I am able to connect to it wirelessly from my pc and phone just fine but my issue is that the router light is on a solid amber light indicating that it is not receiving Internet from my modem. I connected my modem to my pc through an Ethernet cable to see if it is an isuue with my internet provider but I am an able to connect to the Internet just fine. I have an old belkin n150 router that I tried connecting to and it receives Internet through my modem with the light on the router being a solid blue. I notice that when I connect the old router the Motorola model link light is a solid amber and when I switch to the new router the link light flashes blue. I've tried just about everything to try and connect the new router to the Internet on my modem. I did the factory reset and the power cycle countless times. I believe it might have to do with the new router since the old one connects just fine. I figure it might have to do with the settings but I don't know. Any solutions to my problem?

I've read on the net the others are having the same issues. Main issue is that the router only works in simple default mode (dynamic IP) and the moment you start tweaking the settings for private IPs ect...it disconnects and then you have to restart and rest.

Anyhow, I'm in need of a new recommendation for a router that works well with comcast cable modems.

Anyone have a suggestion?

Try resetting the modem, by disconnecting the power jack, from the modem (you can have your computers on while doing this), leave it disconnected, for about a minute, then plug it back in, and let it reset itself.

How do I get my verizon usb mobile modem to work with my wireless router? My router is a Belkin N150. Thanks in advance

A:Verizon USB Modem to Connect to Belkin Router

Moving your thread to the networking forum, and I have edited the title for better results.
Go to Start/Search and type devmgmt.msc Right click the devmgmt icon in the search results and Run As Administrator. In the Device Manager, under Network Adapters, is your Verizon Modem listed? or does it have a Yellow flag next to it? If the later, then you need to install the driver for it. If there are no flags and it is listed. Are you using the Verizon software to manage the wireless connection or the Windows software? Either way, you should have a Wireless icon in your system tray by the clock. Here you double click it to Show Available Wireless Networks. Does your Belkin Router show up? Can you try and connect to it? Do you have a wireless passphrase you need to type in?
Download the Wifi Inspector to test your wireless adapter and your routers signal.

Okay so i got a belkin router that looks like this http://s3.gadgetreview.com/wp-content/up...
The Router was working for about 5 months semi-perfectly (i had to unplug and replug the power everytime on the router when i wanted my laptop to connect or else i would get unidentified network) when all of a sudden it one day stopped working.
I tried to see what was wrong and the problem was the Internet Light was flashing orange which meant it was "attempting to connect to the internet." However, it would never connect. I reset the router with the pinhole and tried reinstalling, unplugging all cables, and calling belkin all which still gave me the flashing light. When i plug my computer directly to the modem however, it is able to work perfectly. But when i connect modem > router > computer, then it doesnt work. Ive tried researching on the flashing orange light on the router and couldnt find anything. Does anyone know why it isnt working and how i can fix it? i need my router for...everything.

hey, i bought my xbox360s 3 days ago, brought it home and set it up, finds my belkin surf modem router f7d2401 v1, i enter the normal passcode i have used for that past 2 years with other items such as laptops and iphones, but it cant connect?
i think it has something to do with the i p address, its showing 0.0.0.0 when set on automatic, i then checked on the belkin setep page, and it showed the dchp was enabled? so i then got the information of the website and entered it manually but it still couldnt connect, i called both xbox and belkin and i know no more than i did before... xbox tried telling me after hours of questions and tests that it was my router, it musnt give out the 2.4gghtz needed, so i then called belkin, they also did tests and asked me questions and then told me that his computer screen is telling him the router can not connect to that xbox. why cant i connet?!

A:xbox 360s cant connet to belkin modem router

this is a wireless connection - anyway of connecting the xbox to the router by a cable and test and see if it works that way

next would be to remove the wireless security from the belkin router and see if the xbox will now connect

next would be to try a fixed IP address in the xbox to connect to the router

I have registered the modem and can connect online while hardwired but my Belkin N150 will not connect to provide wifi. I've spent 2 hours dealing with Belkin and Cox but Belkin's solution was to extend my warranty so they could help further... or just to buy a new router. The router still works with my old modem so there clearly is just some configuration that needs to be changed. I am not the most tech savvy person so I am lost. HELP!!!

Belkin model F5D8633-4.
Windows Xp SP3.

I just got satellite connected yesterday. Goodbye Telstra wireless.
I was using the Belkin as a wireless router (turned DHCP off) to give a stronger wireless signal.
I had turned of DHNS.
I now need to access it to change the settings to suit the satellite, which only has 1 network socket, to do the same job. Ie: act as a wireless access point/router but I am unable to connect to it.
Plugged it into the primary network on my computer then went to 192.168.2.1 which is meant to be its address, but just time out.
Held reset in on the Belkin for 20 secs to reset factory default, but no different.Belkin connected to primary port, not connected to net or anything else..

Hi there,

I have a Belkin N1 wireless Modem/Router and canít get it to connect to the ADSL line in the house.

I am using Virgin.net in the UK and I can connect fine with the USB Modem that they provided.

When I connect the router I get the Wired, Modem Router lights on correctly and the ADSL light flashes orange (Indicating an issue with the ADSL line.

I have already replaced the Modem/Router once, so I am assuming that I didnít get two faulty ones.

Also I have tried to connect with two PCís directly wired to the Modem/Router.

The router model number is F5D8631-4, the firmware is up to date and I am using the following settings to connect;

Username: Is correct as it works with the modem virgin supplied
Password: Is correct as it works with the modem virgin supplied
PPPoA
VCI = 38
VPI = 0
MTU= 1430

I have two phone connections to the house, both with microfilters on them, the virgin modem works on both connections, but the modem/router on neither.

Here is a copy of my IPconfig/all, whilst connected with the Belkin Modem/Router;

Hello,

I've been trying to get my Speedstream 5100 (A?) modem, running SBC DSL, to work with a Belkin wireless g router I just bought. The DSL is connecting through PPPoE/Enternet 300. I called Belkin's tech support and they told me to download firmware--that might not exist!--for the modem. I don't know what's wrong with the configs at all. Plugging the modem directly into computer works, plugging through router doesn't. Not much to go off, but does anyone have suggestions?

Thank u,
Julia

I wonder if someone could help with a networking issue as I'm a bit of a doughnut with these things to say the least lol.
My Daughter recently got a Belkin router with build-in asdl modem and a Dell lap top. Now we actually access the Internet via an NTL broadband cable modem not via an Asdl connection but she has still been able to access the internet ok via the wireless card in her laptop with the router plugged into the Ntl cable modem. The problem is I purchased a Belkin wireless adaptor for our one year old desktop pc and it picks up the wireless network with a very good signal but it just cannot connect to the internet, I just get the stock dns error page (although my daughter swears it did connect for 15 minutes on Sunday). I've checked the Ipconfig and that seems to be to the correct address as stated in other postings on here.

The thing is is there likely to be a problem with my router's config or is the problem that the router has a Asdl modem we are trying to bypass (although it doesn't seem a problem with the laptop) ? I don't want to have to send the router back if I don't have to obviously will if it comes to that . Any help would be appreciated.

A:Belkin Wireless router with built-in Asdl modem

The router isn't that good as you're getting those DNS errors. I was getting those too. The Router makes a good Access Point or a small SPI/NAT Hardware Firewall. That's about it. There are other choices out ther that's better than the Belkin.

Avoid

Belkin 1 ant wireless 54G dsl/cable router
Belkin 2 ants wireless 54G Plus with high speed 125mbp dsl/cable router

Both are slow and give dns errors... You could try to reset them and maybe lucky to get them to work, but they hang, get so hot they crash an etc. A lot of reboots also.

A:Configuration problem for belkin adsl2+ modem with wireless router

the MODEM uses PPPoE, the router should not. the ADSL modem will hold the connection
regardless of anything being active on your router or systems, so imo, the router
should not be configured for PPPoE.

I recently had some corrupt .dll files (Win XP Home SP3) which were fixed using reimage software. My average internet connection upspeed is about 2.5 Mbps.
I noticed constant degradation (especially on page rendering) so decided to take a look at my wireless modem/router settings.
With this device, and ip address of 192.168.2.1 displays the master settings screen. The menu is in the left hand column.
When I access this screen I now get the LH column blanked out by an Error 400 message as in the attached file.
This means that I can't do anything ( I was going to install a new firmware update and, as far as I can see, this screen is the only way to do that (yes, the access is through the LH column!)
This corrupt screen appears in both Firefox and IE 7.

Suggestions very welcome.

Hello,
I'm not much of a tech savvy guy so bare with me here, I'm currently having an issue with my router. I have a belkin n450 DB wireless router (model f9k1105v1) that has been having issues resulting in a "no internet connection". after some research on this topic, I didn't find much except that my modem (which is an Comcast arris modem) might not be able to connect to the routers settings. I have tried everything from resetting my Belkin router and unplugging everything, and still no result! - may I add this router is a solid orange colour when. it should be a solid blue - I am aware that resetting the router sets it back to factory default settings. So I guess my initial question being, since I have little experience with this situation, what steps can I take that are a bit easy for a person like me to comprehend? Thank you for your time and knowledge in advance! NOTE- I've had this issue before in the past and I solved the situation from some tweaking with the cords and it worked just fine, except I had to use the default password for the router. Although now tweaking with the cords isn't a solution.

I apologise in advance for my ignorance / stupidity but I would really appreciate some help...

Five months ago we moved into a new apartment, and connected up our broadband; the ISP provides a Thomson Speedtouch modem (ST546 v6), which I understand from Tech Support is running software v4 (it was issued with V5, but rolled back to V4 for stability issues).

We prefer a WiFi network, so purchased a Belkin N Wireless Modem Router (F5D8636-4 v2); I connected it up ditching the ISP issued modem, and all worked well for four months. Suddenly it refused to see the ADSL connection - orange light flashing.

So after four nights of 'fault resolution' with Belkin, they decided to send me a replacement... which I finally received last night. It didn't work - same problem, flashing orange light.

I have the correct user name and password for the ISP - checked it not once, not twice, but four times. The Thomson Speedtouch works, but doesn't provide a WiFi environment.

Can I connect the Belkin modem router into the back of the Thomson and transmitt/carry the WiFi signal that way, and if so, how? I tried (the obvious to me) plug a ethernet cable from the Thomson modem into the Belkin, but nothing.. I'm guessing there are a few important steps I missed.

Please help.. if I have to call another Customer Services team where they don't speak English, I may cry*
(*Im a girl.. crying in the face of challenges is acceptable. Maybe)
