Outlook 2007 - e-mail stuck in outbox (depends on ISP)...

Q: Outlook 2007 - e-mail stuck in outbox (depends on ISP)...

Ok gang, I have one that really is throwing me for a loop. One computer in my company is having difficulties in sending e-mails through Outlook 2007 running POP3. The part that has me scratching my head is that everything works fine while the computer is connected here in our office, but whenever she leaves, she has intermittent sending issues... it just hangs in the ourbox. It works for the first few minutes then stops sending them out. I have searched all through the Microsoft site and couldn't find anything that related.

Any ideas on what to look for?

Preferred Solution: Outlook 2007 - e-mail stuck in outbox (depends on ISP)...

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: Outlook 2007 - e-mail stuck in outbox (depends on ISP)...

I had a similar issue, though it may not be the same.

Some ISP's (like AT&T, who I hate and despise and upon whom I heap curses and incantations of evil) won't let you use any SMTP server other than theirs to send mail, even if the e-mail account isn't with them. You have to go through a whole rigamaroll to set it up.

But like I said, your issue may be (and probably is) something different. Are there any error messages?

Hi everyone,

I'm writting on behalf of my mom. She tried sending an important file to someone but it was too heavy. It got stuck in the Outbox and now nothing is working anymore. She tried deleting the email in the Outbox. doesn't work, dragging it into the recycle bin, doesn't work. It's like if everything froze because of the email that was to heavy?!

I then told to to save her contacts and email she didn't want to loose by doing Export to a file in a folder and the uninstall MS Office completely and reinstall it.

After uninstalling it, rebooting, she starts MS Office Outlook 2007 and everything is back the same like before uninstalling it?!

Why is that?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks,
Nikita

A:MS Outlook 2007 - Email got stuck in the Outbox

I don't know how these things work in Outlookk, but if the file is too big it could also be that her provider doesn't accept her sending such large Emails.
Uninstalling and Installing does not delete the pst file so what is in it is still there.
I would tread carefully in deleting this file.
I Googled and found the following link

Hope it helps

Hi - I am running Window 7 Home Premium (64bit) and Office 2007.

I have this problem with Outlook not sending messages after I hit the send/receive button (I do not have Outook configured to automatically send messages - I like to control that!).

I have tested the mail setup (Tools-Account Settings-Select Account-Change-Test) and it works fine.

It will send if I exit, restart Outlook, and hit the send/receive button again, but that is a pain to do all the time.

It used to work ok under XP and Vista. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you positive that your imap or pop3 settings are correct. If you can receive emails, your incoming server is obviously correct... but if it's not sending, there may be an issue with the "outgoing" server details.

If you wouldn't mind, could you post your outgoing server address?

Hi All,
I have spent many hours looking for a fix myself and reading the messages in this forum and after finding a solution, thought I would do the right thing and help you fix your problem.

The probelm is the Server Time setting which is set to a maximum of 1 minute by default.

This is not enough time to send the large email and thus starts to send again even though it has actually sent.

To fix this problem by increasing the Server Time Setting, please go to this very good web site for the method.

Hi. I am having a problem with my MS Outlook 2007 email. Anything I send to myself or copy to myself stays stuck in the "outbox". Occasionally one will actually go through, but it still appears to have not been sent as it remains in the "outbox". I have sent the same email multiple times because it didn't appear to have been sent until someone asked me why I had. The copy to myself seems to be what is hanging them up in the outbox now. I was having other issues including the size of the attachment, but I was able to resolve them with other user's question/answers. Thanks! This is still causing me a problem however. Please help! I'm frustrated!

The message size may still be too large as most email providers impose limits on the size of message they will allow through their servers.

To delete any which are stuck in the Outbox, switch Outlook to "Offline" mode, they should then be deletable.
Open Outlook, click File >> Work Offline
Delete message, then click File >> Work Offline again to put it back online.

Have you tried placing Outlook in Work Offline mode?
File > Work Offline
Close Outlook, restart the computer.
Start Outlook and while it is still in Work Offline mode, attempt to delete or move the message from the Outbox.

It did say that messages 1 & 2 were being sent but that was yesterday and nothing has arrived at the recipients end this morning. Can you help please?

Hi terrace

Can you move the e-mails out of the Outbox and then add yourself to the BCC: line then click Send on each of the e-mails, again?

That way, you'll know they have been sent when you receive a copy.

Did you try deleting the messages from the Outbox?

We're running MS Windows XP on a network and are having a problem with MS Outlook. E-mail is getting 'stuck' in the Outbox and doesn't appear to be going out. However, the mail is being received (sometimes 8 - 10 times) by the recipient. There doesn't appear to be a way to remove the e-mails from the Outbox. They will not delete and do not show up as "Sent." So... every time you start up Outlook, the same e-mail sends again. Curiously, it's only happening with two of the six computers we have on the network even though all are running the same software and operating system.

Any ideas?

Issue:
* Emails are getting stuck in the Server-side Outbox (found by logging into my email via OWA - online web)
* Local Client Outlook Outbox shows as empty
* All sent emails are being received OK by end-recipient
* Issue seems to be most apparent when I activate a vba script used to help auto-file emails after sending them (see script code below).
* The same script ran without this issue under Outlook 2003 - only after upgrading to 2007 did the issue appear.

Specs:
* Macbook Pro 2.33
* Bootcamp v3.0
* WinXP SP3
* Outlook 2007 (12.0.4518.1014)

Other Findings:
* The issue seems to mostly be tied to the vba script but I believe I have also seen emails get stuck when the script was disabled. I also partially suspect that the emails may get stuck when I'm connected to the network at work but not as prevalent when connected to network via VPN.

VBA Script:
The script code I am using is as below. The script waits and acts when any item appears in the Sent folder, invokes a navigation window, showing my PST folders. When I select a folder, the script moves the email from the Sent folder to the chosen folder. The Sent folder is always empty.

I am having a similar problem to BillyJilly, except that I am running Outlook 2003 and he is running Outlook Express. Some emails get stuck in my Outbox and don't go to the Sent Items folder. However my recipient does receive the mail over and over until I physically delete it from the Outbox after the first "send". It is normally only mails with large attachments, 750Kb or larger. Sometimes I get an error message after it has tried to send and sometimes not. I am running Windows XP Professional 2002 (SP2). I connect to our office server to send and receive mail. Part of the problem is that although I know that the mail was sent (because I receive irate emails telling me to stop re-sending the mail), it doesn't go into the Sent Items folder so I can't search for it later. I have set Outlook to Send/Receive automatically. It also happens if I send mails to my colleagues in the office via the server i.e. not using my ISP. Any help will be appreciated as Microsoft can't solve the problem.

A user scheduled an email to send yesterday morning but it sent same time this morning. So I assume she had put the wrong date.

To prove to her and test myself I tried a couple of emails back to me. I browsed them in the outbox and then waited. They still sat there.

I tried another couple and ignored them in the Outbox - they worked.

so my conclusion was that she still put the wrong date, but the test also highlighted that you're forced to set and forget (The topic of this thread). Otherwise they get stuck. Even if I re-schedule and save again in the Outbox, they stay.

Is there a way to edit an email in the Outbox before it's sent without it losing its delay schedule?
Otherwise the delay function is a bit useless if you're forced to create a brand new email and delay schedule after a re-edit.

I'm aware you can create a delay rule but this is just for one off emails rather than across the board.

Hello,

I've sent a too big e-mail in Outlook 2003. Stupid me. It's a mail of 20MB size, I tried to send it via my hotmail account (I paid for it, so I can send up to 20MB mails... but apparently not..) But I can't seem to delete it or open it anymore (it says: "Outlook is already sending the message". But it's not). I've waited more than a day and I saw more than 1 Gb was sended (!!). So something is sending, but not this e-mail!

I run windows XP. What can I do? I already tried to re-install Office, but the problem still occurs. I want to get rid of the mail!! It's blocking everything!

Please help me!! Thanks very much!

Should I make a new outbox? How do I do this in Oulook 2003?

When I send e-mails in Outlook they go in my Outbox. If I immediately click Send/Receive they go immediately. But if click on the Outbox, the sealed envelope of whichever pending mail I am on changes to an open envelope and the date changes to "none". Then if I click send/receive the program goes throught the process of sending and even tells me the task was completed. But the message remains in the Iutbox and is not sent.

The only work-around I have found is to drag the mail to a different folder - e.g. Drafts - and then click Send followed by Send/Receive.

The problem basically is with any e-mail in the outbox that I click on. As soon as I click on it, the envelope opens and the e-mail can not be sent from there any more.

Any ideas?

A:Outlook 2003 sending problem e-mail sticks in Outbox if I click on the Outbox.

Once you have opened e-mail in your Outbox, you need to click on Send again. It has always been this way.

An easy way to tell which mail is ready to send is that it will typically be displayed in italics.

I did not try changing the files to dbx.old as i wasn't real sure if this would cause me to lose important emails or not. Plus there are 3 people who have accounts so didn't want to risk it.

Here is the error message-

Strange problem, when I sent an e-mail, the first e-mail I sent is stuck in outbox. It doesn't get sent.
The second, third, and all other mails go out the door without any problems.

While doing a Send/Receive I see the error message: Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server' reported error (0x8004010F): 'The operation failed. An object could not be found.'

Suggestions on the net vary from waiting a day to creating a new profile.

I have a workaround, I leave a dummy e-mail stuck in first position, and all subsequent e-mails go through without a hitch.

Try this. Close Outlook Express. Click start--find--files and search for your Outbox.DBX file. When you find it right click on it and delete it. That file is for your Outbox folder. Deleting it will delete your Outbox folder and all emails in it. Now restart your computer and then open Outlook Express. A new Outbox.DBX file will be created along with a new Outbox folder in Outlook Express. Now see if that message is gone and all is well.

Hi Guys,

We have a single user here that has problems with stuck outbox messages in outlook. Off of only one of his email accounts in his profile. Off of only his computer. There are definitely some patterns of characteristics from the emails though, which I would imagine have something to do with the problem. They are: They almost always include attachments, they've always got multiple recipients and CC's, and they're almost always replies in threads of emails being sent back and forth.

Clearing out and recreating his profile doesn't help, doing the standard "take off some of the 'RE:'s in the subject line", throw it in drafts and then re-send it, copy-and-paste it into a new message altogether... some of these randomly help solve problems at total random, but 99% of the time they don't work.

My only workaround that works completely is using a virtual box (or logging in through another PC), setting up his profile and forwarding the stuck message from the outbox on the alternate computer.

Now obviously that means it's not our email host, and it's not some strange format or character that's universally just not able to send... what happens with these messages is that they aren't even looked at, they don't even begin to send (sometimes attachments would explain a delay as it would take time to send out a big file), they're just ignored permanently on his computer.

I obviously see a solution would be to switch out his desktop, but that's kind of like saying "... Read more

A:Outlook stuck outbox- Not conventional 'stuck' either

Greetings!

I have a bit of experience with Outlook and Exchange, so I have a few questions for you--
Are you running in a Microsoft Exchange environment, and if so, which version?
What antivirus are you running on the affected PC?
Do you have any special spam filtering or virus scanning on the mail server that is specifically for email?

I've seen where certain antivirus products can cause these "stuck" outbox issues. I assume you've tried the basic F9 (send/receive) to try and force the message through as well?

Thanks

I have a Vista Home Premium 32bit. I tried to send an email with attachments but the file is so large that I get an error message, and that the server has closed. I realised I had made a mistake in not reducing the size of the files (A4 drawings in colour) - I have since acquired Photoshop and greatly reduced the image sizes. The problem begins whenever I open Windows Mail I do not get the mail default window but the window for sending a new message, the implication being that I cannot access inbox, outbox, sent, etc. When I click on send & receive on the new message window I have a smaller window stating that it is attempting to send the oversized email - which of course never is completed. (a) How do I delete the attachments (9 of them) and the email concerned? (b) How do I restore the Windows Mail default page that should automatically open? Until I can return to Windows Mail I am running Windows Mail Live - which is OK but I'd like to remove the attachments on the message in my out box which I fear will create other problems. Regards.

This might be a Worm or something simple. This problem is on a computer at work and I fixed it on one so far but that procedure didn't work on the computer that started this whole mess. An email was sent to several people at work and for some reason it would stay in the outbox and keep resending itself hundreds of times. I looked at the source computer and I can't delete the outbox. I do get an error 0x800-000cf0. and I have looked at MS knowledge base and will apply those on Monday. I am just looking for some suggestions because I feel that this is something more to it. By the way the error code is from memory so it my not be correctly stated. This is on Outlook 2002 and any help would be grateful. My boss opened an email sent to him from the computer in question and his started doing the same thing as well. I ran v.cleaner from AVG and it found nothing so I just deleted the email from his outbox and that solved his problem. Just won't work on the other computer.

We are running Exchange 2003 SP2 and our clients have Office 2010. Our Outlook profiles are created automatically by using Group Policy to set a registry key which points to a PRF file with all the Outlook settings. Lately, many of our users are reporting that their emails are getting stuck in the Outbox. If you look at their Outlook profile, they have two Exchange accounts listed. You cannot delete either of them; it gives a message that this is the default email account.

The immediate solution is to recreate the user's Outlook profile. This allows the stuck email to send. The real issue is that this keeps occurring. Recreating the Outlook profile sometimes fixes the problem for a long time, months maybe. But other times the problem occurs the next day. This is happening with users who have established Outlook profiles as well as new users logging into their PCs for the first time. I've attached the code from our PRF. Any help is appreciated, as we have around 400 active users and we're constantly chasing after this issue.

A:Outlook 2010 Email Stuck in Outbox; Corrupt Outlook Profile

Couple steps you may apply...

1. Repair the offline file with a Microsoft utility called SCANOST.exe. I’ve seen this file reside in a number of different locations, mainly within Program Files. It might be best to search for it with Windows or Google Desktop. SCANPST.exe will also work, though you’ll have to go digging for your outlook.ost, which should be near c:\Documents and Settings\ %profile%\ Local Settings\ Application Data\ Microsoft\ Outlook\ outlook.ost. If your file is significant in size, you’ll save a lot of time with the repair operation by not creating a backup. Because if the repair finishes successfully and Outlook still bombs, you’ll need to.
2. Shutdown Outlook completely, including any runaway outlook.exe processes in the task manager. Open Mail in the Control Panel and before you delete your profile completely, write down the server settings! There’s no need to worry about backing up your mail as it’s stored on the Exchange server. (Essentially, you’re deleting that outlook.ost when you drop your mail profile.) Now, start Outlook and it will create a new profile, where you’ll configure the server with the information you wrote down previously.

I have called HP, Microsoft and spent hours on the phone to get nowhere except finally they tell me it is a special issue and she will have to pay for the tech support to fix the problem. She has had the PC for less than a month and I refuse to see her pay a dine.
The PC is an HP desktop Pivillion model #A6234X......I first called Office Max where her son bought the computer (no luck there) they referred me to HP. They told me it was beyond them and referred me to Microsoft, Microsoft referred me back to HP because the WIndows Mail was preinstalled on the PC. So as you can see I am at my wits end. I did see quite a bit of sites on the net where people were having the same issue. I was a bit afraid of trying too much, seeing that I am not that technical in computers. I would with my own PC but not someone elses brand new one. Anyway here goes, I hope someone can help. I did look at the forums and really didn't see much.
Problem: She has one email stuck in her outbox that will not go. I have tried to delete, move to file, move to folder, send. Nothing will work. First message ....message can not be displayed due to an unknow error....Second message (when I try to close down the program) you have unsent messages in your outbox do you want to send....I can pick either yes or no with no response.....And the last message I get is ....one or mor messages in your outbox do not have a valid accoun... Sometimes in Outlook 2007 I am getting emails stuck in the outbox. They are actually sending - and sending, and sending. Infact they don't stop sending until I delete the email from the Outbox.
The emails never show in my sentbox as sent, but people keep recieving emails over and over.
How can I prevent this from happening ?

Hi,

We have Outlook installed on a hosted server (CPAASP), using a gmail account as the default email. We have a program that generates monthly statements and emails them to our customers automatically through Outlook/gmail. Last month we had 109 statements to send. The first 100 went, then the last 9 were left sitting in the outbox. There is no automatic Send/Receive set up for this Outlook. Waited a few minutes, manually clicked Send/Receive, and the last 9 were sent.

Any idea why those last 9 weren't sent? I would think if it was because we bumped up against Gmail's 100 email limit, those last 9 wouldn't have been sent. And any suggestions as to how we can prevent this from happening in the future?

Thanks!

I have two messages stuck in my Outlook Outbox. When I try to send or delete them, I get a message that Outlook has begun transmitting, but this has been going on for days now. Even after going offline, disabling all the network connections and restarting Outlook, I can't get the messages to delete ... and they're 'clogging' up the rest of what I'm trying to send. Any suggestions?

First off, not my computer. LOL A friend of mine opens up an e-mail from a friend with an attachment and WHOOPS! Should have renewed that Norton subscription, but alas..... Since then another friend (who thinks she knows bunches about computers) has been fiddling around in there and created a mess. I now have the computer in my possession for the night and tomorrow to try and fix this. Did a search on the e-mail name and nothing came up in Google. Ran Malwarebytes at her home yesterday and it found several trojans, a rootkit and two infected registry keys. It does not appear the virus or worm reinstalled itself upon reboot.

I can post the log upon request if needed. Seems like the infection is gone but since she went to reply to this infected e-mail Windows Mail (Vista Home Premium) had a hissy fit of some sort and it is now stuck like chuck in the outbox. Her friend went about messing with her e-mail settings and put them all backwards. I fixed them and 168 e-mail messages downloaded but still cannot get a test e-mail to send out. If you try to delete this e-mail (which says, "Re:E-mailing: K18qp416svx" in the subject line) it says an unknown error occured. Attempting to move it to another folder (like the deleted items folder) and you get the same message. It won't show the properties either.

Clicking on the e-mail gives you the standard "Windows mail encountered an error when attempting to display this message....." in the message view pane. A... Read more

Moderators, please close this thread. I figured it out myself thank goodness and was finally able to remove the reply e-mail from the outbox and restore normal function to Windows Mail.

I used to be able to "catch" an email in Outlook's Outbox, open and edit a line or remove a comment, then hit "Send" and it would send like a normal email.

Now, if I open (or even accidentally highlight) a message in the Outbox, hitting "Send" doesn't work - the email closes like normal, but the text doesn't italicize and nothing you do will actually send it, it just sits there.

I've got a work around (dragging it to the Drafts folder, then resending from there), but I can't for the life of me figure out what happened, and it's making me crazy!

Any thoughts?

Welcome to TSG Kairi.

The Send/Receive Tab controls much of what your asking about. File\Options\advanced\Send Receive is another way to look at this configuration.
A message in the Outbox has already been sent. Settings can control the lenth of time Outlook 'holds' these records in the OutBox before sending or it can be set to send immeadiately. If you click the 'Send All' button on the Send/Receive tab it will send all messages in the outbox.

Hi,

I discovered today that none of my emails have gone through since Monday afternoon. I believe the issue must have began when I removed an email account from Outlook Connector (it was the default account). Everything seemed to be going fine - I just assumed emails were going out. Last night, I went to close Outlook and it said that there were unsent items in my outbox. There weren't.

Today when I discovered that nothing was going out, I re-added the email account that I removed. However, there is nothing in that outbox either.

I'm stressed about this - I run a home business and have lost a lot of correspondence to clients and customers.

Thanks,
Nicole

I have been sending mail to people and they have been recieving it.
But i get an error when it does the send and recieve but there is no detail in the error.
All my email are in the outbox. Nothing in the sent box. Every time i send an email it resends all the mail that is the outbox from previous messages. I have to manually delete every email that i send from the outbox. So i have no record in the sent box unless i move it to the folder.
Anyone know what would cause the mail to be sent sucessfully but still hang in the outbox?
I tried deleting the email account and recreate it. no lcuk

Hi,

I'm using outlook 2003 directly with a pop3/smtp account from my internet provider. My provider has limited the size of outgoing mailmessages to 5 MB.

Sometimes, I accidently send a larger mail (eg 10MB). The mail then gets stuck in my outbox. It can't be sent using my account, so it just stays in the outbox. I can't delete it directly, as Outlook says that it already started sending the message.

I have found a workaround to delete the message: Set Outlook to "Work Offline", exit the program, restart Outlook and I can delete the offending 10MB message.

My question is: isn't there a way to prevent Outlook from putting this mail in the outbox to begin with? I would like some some sort of parameter "max attach size" that warns me before attempting to send a huge message. I would like to avoid having to use the workaround I described above.

A:Outlook, huge attachment stuck in outbox

I am not aware of any setting in OL2003.
I use Eudora and it does indeed do just that, which is useful.

As email adds about 25% to the size of an attachment after encoding, the warning can be very useful. Eudora gives the encoded size, and it is user customisable.

Hi,

I have outlook 2013 and for some reason my emails are not sending. I am receiving email but when I reply it remains stuck in the outbox folder. When I click send receive I get an error code 0x800ccc13

I recently updated to windows 10 but the problem existed on windows 8 as well. I use a gmail account.

Thank you for your help

A:Outlook 2013 Emails stuck in outbox

It looks as if you may have some configuration issues you need to check for Outlook with respect to Gmail. If you're using the POP3 protocol, check the SMTP server (which is used for outgoing mail) to ensure the server name and your credentials are correct.

Currently running SP2 for WinXP Prof on my Work Computer.

My problem started when I was still running Win XP Prof w/ SP1.

One day my emails would get stuck in the outbox of outlook express, being shown as unsent, although it was actually sending it over and over everytime Outlook express would send/receive. Many people stopped asking me to write them so many times.

Our office tech guy suggested getting windows defender and running that.
Also to upgrade to Norton Internet Security 2006. He also suggested that I move to MS Outlook. He also had me remove adaware.

Before I could get windows defender i had to d/l and install SP2 which i did, and then WDefender. Neither WinDef nor Norton came up with anything, and now I can't open MS Outlook without it crashing.

Comp tech guy has no other suggestions and now would like to wipe and reload my hard drive. *freaking out!*

(I found you guys last night looking for a solution to a Virtumonde.G problem on my personal computer and it was incredibly helpful.)

Please help.

Some of my messages get stuck in the OUTBOX. I click send - then send/receive - but they still don't go out. Sometimes I notice a message at the bottom of screen: "Sending error - click here".

I have a message stuck in my Outbox that seems to interrupt the entire email sending and receiving flow. When I try to open it, I get the following error: Can't open this item. The MAPI spooler has already begun transmitting this message.

How do I get this damn problem fixed? I've tried creating new default Personal Folders, but I still can't delete the message from the Outbox.

Thanks!

I was trying to send an email with a large attachment via Outlook 2003.

The message is now stuck in my Outbox and won't send. I have left my machine running for a few days but no luck. I tried deleting it and no luck, I tried opening it (double clicking on the message) and it says that it can't be opened because it has already began transmitting.

Any suggestions.

I have four emails stuck in my outbox of Microsoft Outlook 2003. I have 7 email addresses that download into outlook, but only one of them is stuck. I've tried opening them and resending, moving them to my inbox and resending, and redoing them. It's like outlook will just not send from that email address. I've used it for years, so I don't think it could be a setting issue - it just happened all of the sudden. I don't have any big attachments on any of the emails.

Any ideas?

Hi Guys,

I'm running Exchange on W2K3 with 5 Clients all using Outlook 2003. One of the clients is steadfastly refusing to send email from the desktop in the office - it gets stuck in the outbox (it shows up marked in italics).

The user of the machine is able to access the Exchange Server remotely on his desktop and can send and receive email fine - with the exception that it's not synchronizing with the email stuck in the outbox on the client in the office.

Any suggestions?

When sending a large e-mail file in Win 7 Outlook, typically a large mp3 file, Outlook will sometimes get hung up and the e-mail will not leave the outbox. It stays stuck there trying to send repeatedly but never successfully, messing up everything else in Outlook. I have done lots of on-line homework and there are many more suggested simple solutions, but this is the only one that seems to get the job done: Delete a Message Stuck in the Outbox
It's a real pain! It took me about four hours to find the solution that works and then at least 30 minutes every time I have to research the article and then hack Outlook to free up the stuck email in the outbox. The MS corporate on-line forum teckies insist that it is a e-mail client server problem, which is absolutely false as many others also agree. I don't care if the e-mail does not get through as much as I just want to be able to delete it from the outbox when it gets hung up in a never ending loop of trying to send perpetually, eating up processing power, and it will never leave and it can't ever be DELETED without some serious hacks to the Outlook program. That's not a client/server issue.

Anyone else have the same problem or find a simple solution?
