Hello All! I have just gotten the Lenovo Ideapad 500-15ISK and have been experiencing Hardware Scan Fail within the "Mathematical Operations Test" of my Intel HD Graphics 520. I have checked support and other forums which have addressed this issue, but all these solutions have not worked for me. I read that this is a false positive and that updating the VGA would help, which I have done, but does not fix the solution. Could anyone please help me find a solution to my problem. Thanks.
I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system
It's worked out well for many of us in the past.
You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)
I had this problem also with my same model 1 week old laptop. Tech support found a different driver on the Intel website that corrected the problem. But, I also am experiencing another odd and random problem that others have discussed which is a pop up window in lower left corner of screen that says the Intel Graphics display stopped working and Windows is trying to repair it.Read other 9 answers
*I appreciate this issue has been brought up before, many solutions or possible fixes have been suggested but if I can request this thread isn't redirected to one of those as, for me, they haven't worked.* Ideapad 500-15ISK with Intel HD Graphics 520Windows 10, 64-bit The graphics driver problem which it seems many people have had: I too get the "driver has stopped working and recovered Windows 8.1" message, I also get the screen going black etc. I'm not bothered by the hardware scan fail, I'm happy that that's a false result, but for the graphics card crash there has to be a fix, surely? I've looked at the solutions which point to downloading the drivers 10.18.15.4279 and tried reinstalling these, as linked to by the TIP and various 'solved' threads - it hasn't helped. I've downloaded the same - driver 10.18.15.4279 - from the Intel site directly, it hasn't worked. I've tried downloading later drivers from the intel site, but they all come up as saying either they are not compatible, or when I go through doing it manually it will start to install and then tell me the best drivers are already installed. I've tried uninstalling the driver and then doing a manual install before restarting the computer, that hasn't helped either. I've trawled the support forums and the net and tried every solution I can find, including all those linked to on previous topics on this issue. There must by now be an answer which works? Hi, Recently I bought my lenovo 700-15ISK with one of the highest configuration (i7, 16GB RAM) and windows 7.I have huge problem with this computer - it crash 2-3 times per day. I'm wondering if I should return computer to seller but I can't afford for delay in my work and I'm trying to figure out what will eliminate or "hide" this problem. Hello, I have the Y700 Touch-15ISK Laptop (ideapad) which I received as a replacement for my last Lenovo which could not be fixed by Lenovo Support. Since I received this as a replacement, my warranty only lasted a month (the residual from my initial warranty). Now, I have only had it for a few months and it has had many instances of the blue screen of death with my computer suddenly needing a restart. I do not have warranty anymore so I am reaching out to you all. The hardware scan says the Mathmatical Operations Test on my Intel (HD) Graphics 550 card failed. I got the result code: WVC007002-UL7VFK. I could not find any information about this code online. Through the Lenovo website I tried to update my Intel driver by downloading the one the website recommended for my computer after I entered my Serial # (I think it was Intel VGA) and after it downloaded I got a warning saying: "Error: The driver being installed is not validated for this computer. Obtain the appropriate driver from the computer's manufacturer. Setup will exit." Regarding the blue screen of death, there have been several different error messages, but the one that comes the most often is "DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE". The most recent blue screen message was "Stop Code: SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION; What failed: igdkmd64.sys" I am not sure if these problems are related, but it seems the most important issue is the graphics driver since I use a lot o... Hello Lenovo Community! I'm a proud owner of a Lenovo IdeaPad 700-15ISK. I like this laptop alot, even though I only got it a week ago. There is a problem, however. My touchpad is "jumping" at specific time intervals (approx. at a 3 second interval). The "lag" doesn't last more than 0.5 milliseconds, but it's really, really annoying. I tried uninstalling, reinstalling the Synaptics touchpad drivers (I use Windows 10). I tried the ones from Lenovo Support, then the generic ones. I also tried disabling PalmCheck. It didn't work. I tried disabling Realtek Audio Manager, as some people on these forums had a problem with the audio driver causing some kind of conflict, on other laptop models. But that did not work either. Then I installed Ubuntu, and the problem still persisted. I have this annoying touchpad problem even in boot menus! (like Windows/Ubuntu menus, before installing the OS).I opened up a program, which is incorporated into the Synaptics Driver on Windows, called MoodPad, which basically draws a line when you swipe your finger across the touchpad surface. I noticed there are gaps inbetween. I posted some photos to make things more clear. The intervals are fixed, no matter if you swipe the finger across or not. For instance, if you happen to swipe it 2 seconds after the previous "lag" had occured, the next one will occur after 1 second (there is a 3 second interval, as I said before), and so on. Here are the photos from MoodPad. The red circles rep... Read moreRead other answers
So I bought Lenovo Ideapad 700-15isk with GTX 950M 2GB DDR3 a couple weeks ago and whenever I try to play a game (any game, even from year 2009), my GPU starts overheating and when it reaches ~83C, it automatically downclocks itself to 405mhz. I tried to install drivers from scratch, both from OM and from Nvidia, and that didn't help me. I've also gone through a clean installation of Win 10, that didn't help either.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Read other answers
My battery seems to charge very slowly when connected to AC and when I unplug I lose power in less than 20 minutes and the diagnostic says battery is in "Fair" condition and only charging at 41.38% of its original full charge capacity. When I called customer service since I am still under warranty, they just said I could send in the laptop for repair which takes about 7 business days or go to a Best Buy for the GeekSquad to repair. I went to Best Buy, but the Geek Squad said they would have to send it off for 13 days so none of this was helpful as this is my only laptop and I need it daily so to send it off for 7 business days would be difficult. Are there any other options for repair that reduce the time significantly? I can't believe Lenovo doesn't offer overnight shipping to expedite the processRead other answers

Hello. I have had my Ideapad 300 for several months now and I really love it except for one thing, the trackpad. Due to where my hand and fingers naturally sit, there is a spot on the trackpad that shows a little more wear than the area around it. In this picture ( http://imgur.com/bJovhqL ), you can see that there is an oval shaped region that looks a little different. The problem I am having is that several times a day (up to several times per hour), the trackpad goes nuts. It doesn'ttrack my finger correctly and performs multi-finger actions even though I'm just using one finger. It jitters around the screen if I try to use it, and I just have to wait for it to self-correct by staying off of it for up to 30 seconds. If I look at the trackpad icon on the bottom right of the taskbar while it's messing up, the trackpad is registering multiple fingers. I'll use one finger, and the icon will display 1 finger, 2 fingers, 3 fingers, 1, 2, 1, 3, 4, etc. Like I said, I just have to wait it out for it to go away. And on one occasion, I noticed that even if I hovered my finger above the trackpad without actually touching it, it would still register fingers, like it was being super super sensitive or something. I've tried everything reasonable to fix it, tweaking the settings, uninstalling and reinstalling the trackpad, updating the drivers, using the OEM drivers, and nothing works. It's getting very annoying, and ... Read moreRead other answers

I'm having some lag with my touchpad, about every 3 seconds. Searched around about this problem and did some updates on the driver.
Even did a factory reset, but same problem.
Anyone having similar problem and fixed it?
Read somewhere that it may have something to do with the Realtek HD audio software/driver??
Using external mouse for the most, but would be nice to have the option to use a functional touchpad from time to time.

I recently bought a M.2 SSD and I want to use it as a cache drive. Look in the device manager under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller, it should say Intel(R) 100 Series/C230 Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller. For your second part of your question, you need at least 2 disk with unallocated areas to make a RAID array. Welcome to Lenovo Community!
1) Shut down the computer.
2) With the battery in (but AC adapter removed), attempt to turn on the computer by holding down the power button for 30 sec. This should not turn on the computer.
3) Remove the battery.
4) Again, attempt to turn on the computer (AC adapter not plugged in) by holding down the power button for 30 sec. This should not turn on the computer either.
5) Replace battery, plug in the AC adapter, and turn on the computer. The battery should begin charging.
I hope the above information helps.

So I'm currently in the process of trying to order myself a new AC Adapter for my Lenovo Ideapad, but my issue is finding the correct AC Adapter for my computer. I've spent three or four hours trying to find the correct one, yet the one Lenovo list on their website with the Ideapad 700 series (http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/itemdetails/888015027/460/B5F03F2D7A74472998C11037ACE71BFB?sb=:000001CC... has the incorrect part number. The part number on my AC Adapter is 5A10J46690, the one Lenovo lists to buy is 888015027, what I need to know (Which I can't figure out) is whether or not this is the same AC Adapter as the one I have currently, which does not work. Seeing as I can't find a single adapter matching the part number of my current one. To clarify slightly, my laptop is the Ideapad 700-15ISK Type 80RU00APUS. Apologies if I picked the wrong category for this, I'm new to the forums and majorly need the help.Read other answers
Dear I have just purchased Lenovo Ideapad 310 15ISK. Notebok configuration is great, it is fast and body is good design but one thing bothers me, it is a screen resoultion 1366x768. The colors on the screen looks a bit pale, and the resolution is that way that you can see almost pixels on fonts and objects on the screen and icons are big. It reminds me on the resolution set by default when you just install fresh windows copy and hardware use default drivers for standard VGA display. This is how it was after installing fresh windows 10 home. After that when I installed offical Nvidia Geforce driver nothing changes in quality of display, like hardware doesn't detect driver software. I have never seen this in my time using computers. It is always that display quality somehow improves after installing a driver. Could it be I am missing somthing in settings, or this is just the way how it should work. Thanks for help.

Dear Lenovo community. I have recently began to feel the effects of PalmCheck - the 'Palm Tracking' setting for my touchpad - after starting to play games on the laptop, which needs me to simultaneously use the keyboard and mouse.
