I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Lenovo Yoga Book tablet 10.1" windows with halo keyboard. I have read nearly every post with yoga book issues regarding powering on, waking up, sleep mode.  None of the fixes worked for me.  IT WON'T WAKE UP!!! I've triedholding power button for 15 seconds, 20 seconds, 30 seconds, plugged in and unplugged with original power cordholding power button and volume rocker, plugged in and unpluggedpushing the power button 10, 15, 20 times rapidly and then trying to turn it on.The battery is internal and I am not sure I want to try to open it up.  I can't find any screws. I'm waiting for the battery to drain to see if that will help.  But in sleep mode, it may take a while..... Help?

Hi there, I have a Lenovo Yoga Book (Windows 10-edition). Which does not charge the battery, when plugging in but also in use. The taskbar indicates that the tablet is charging, but the battery still goes down (albeit much more slowly). If I shut Windows down, charging then starts correctly. Does anything else have the same problem? Has anyone managed to solve this issue? Thanks  -cycle63

Hi all and happy new year!  I got a new Lenovo Yoga Book (Windows) and I'm shocked with the amount of problems i'm facing. Keep in mind i switched from Mac recently by getting first a Surface Book that works amazing + a $45 windows tablet that also works with no issues at all.  I'm literally shocked with the amount of problems i've had with Lenovo (wish I knew) and how bad their support is.  Let me start (keep in mind i'm not a windows epxert so if you have any solution please explain in details - really appreciated)  1. Split screen on tablet mode won't work. When i try to split screen the screen goes crazy (upside down) and then goes back to full screen (support told me that spil screen on tablet mode is a windows 8 feauture - LOL.)  2. Mic is not working all the time - many times when I restart it won't just work and therefore cortana doesn't work which I love  3. Laptop won't go to sleep. I close the lid and then i can still hear the notifications sound going on. the other night i charged it and woke up to 0 battery (i read the forum here and that many people have the same issue)  4. Also the problem of not waking up many times. I press the power button and nothing. it seems plugin it in might work - not 100% sure.  These are the main problems.I've tried all the basics, as updating windows, updating drivers through device manager, checkin on power/sleep settings etc.  If anyone can h... Hey, I just got my Lenovo Yoga Book with Windows 10 today, brand new. When I first booted the machine up there was no new user startup, it automatically logged me in to the "Administrator" account. The desktop has some generic wallpaper with bright red Chinese text one it, with programs on the desktop like WoaProc.exe, rework.cmd, Server_RunInPad.exe, shutdown.cmd, and TelephonyTool_Eng_V1.1.exe. There is also another user account, "WWTE." Upon researching this myself it seems that I have a test unit that Lenovo forgot to wipe. Is it okay for me to continue using? Should I just use it as is? Do I wipe the unit and reinstall Windows (btw, the unit itself has no recovery drive). Should I return it for a new unit? This is the first time something like this has happened to me, so any help would be appreciated.  Thanks, Jon

This has been happening the last two days. I'll go watch a YouTube video in laptop mode and the screen will rotate so it'll be upside down when it goes full-screen. It does the same thing in tablet mode as well. I'm pretty sure everything is up to date and I've restarted the device, but the issue still persists. Even with Rotation Lock on, it'll still rotate. I haven't seen others with this issue which brings me here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys

I have a big problem and I do hope you can help me with- my Cube-i7-Book don't charge not by the Wall charger nor by the Usb-c charger.

I read a lot about the coube-I7-book and just before they started talking about the new one I bought it (+original keyboard). It arrived and I start using it about 3 moons ago.

1. Last moons I bought a Aukey fast USB desk charger (charge other devises ) and try to charge my cube-I7-book with the USB-c cable I got with my LG smartphone. It looks like the charger is connected but it doesn't charge (I try again and again).
2. Last night my cube-I7-book buttery was very low. I connected it to the wall charger as I always do and went to sleep. In the morning I took a look at the cubeI7-book. I was surprise to see it was still charging. I let it to continue charging. At the evening I checked again. It got 61% and stop charging. I re connect it to the charger and to a different wall socket - there was no reaction. I restart the cubeI7 book -nothing.
3. Could the problem is in the wall charger? If so what different charger l have to look for in order to check?
4. If it's not the charger, what can it be and what can I do to make it work? It is a new device and I really want it to work.
5. What about the USB-c charging? Why isn't it working? Can I do something about it?

Thank you for your help

My X1 Yoga stoped charging the battery.Windows show that power adapter is pluged in, but it blinks every few seconds as if I was pulling the charger out and back again. Also orange led next to the power socket is blinking and green led on the power button blinks 3 times every few seconds (according to the manual it means "power adapter connected").Is there anything I can do to use my laptop longer than remaining 2 hours until the battery discharges?

Yas, there's another thread on this, but the answer there (the charger was kaput) is not the answer for mine - unless the charger died and the brand new one was DOA - the new one I bought a few weeks ago when the original was mislaid for a couple of days, but never opened the box when the original turned up. Both chargers actually run the computer, it's just not charging. There's also a sideways reference to this, on https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad-X-Series-Laptops/X1-Yoga-Wacom-driver-7-3-4-25-seems-to-be-bro... I had the exact same thing as that one happen (touchscreen quit touching), on the same day. Having had similar things happen before, one of my first guesses was that Windoze had updated something that broke the touchscreen software. Looking at the activity, I saw that indeed, it had installed a "new" version (xxx.25), for which Wacom's current version was xxx.28 - why on earth Windoze would actually downdate a driver automagically is beyond me. The solution, as found in the link, was to uninstall the downdate and install the current one. Unfortunately, I now have a problem that is worse (not touchscreening was mainly an annoyance, but not charging the battery or running off of charger power will be fatal if not fixed in time) and has been harder to track down so far. This morning (4/27/2017), out of the clear blue, when I plugged in the charger, the screen started blinking dimmer and brighter. I finally figured out the change in brightn... Read more

I have a Yoga 910 with maybe 20 hours of use (I've had it 2 years). Currently, it will not charge while the laptop is on. While the system is on and plugged in, the plugged in symbol will occasionally flash and the screen dims when this happens. The laptop will only run on battery power. If I turn the laptop off it will eventually charge (seems to take longer than it should). I'm using the OEM charger it came with as well as an OEM charger I just purchased (same for both)BIOS is out of date, but I cannot update as the laptop will not register that it is plugged in...I updated the ACPI driver from the Lenovo website (it's from 12/2016 though) Is there any way to get around the having to be plugged in BIOS update issue? Or what else could it be? Since it charges while it's shut off it seems like it's a software issue and it just started doing this all of a sudden...

I have a Yoga 530-14IKB and try to charge it using an Anker PowerPort USB C charger. The charger should deliver 30 W, but does not seem to charge the Yoga. The same adapter charges a HP Elitebook without an issue. Do I have to enable something in BIOS or somewhere else or is the charger just too weak?

I bought the Yoga 910 less than a year ago.  All of a sudden, it stopped charging.  I brought it to GeekSquad and they sent it out and it was "fixed" - the message was - "We've determined that a part inside of your device needs to be replaced."  I got my laptop back less than a week ago and now the same thing is happening.  I plan to bring it back to Best Buy tomorrow but my issue is that I cannot be without a laptop for another week as I need it for work.  Any help would be appreciated.  Unfortunately, the laptop is dead now.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga S1 that won't charge.  Sometimes when I plug it in there is no reaction from the computer aside from the "i" indicator continuouly flashing in sequences of 3s. Other times when I plug it in it says "plugged in, not chrging" and the "i" indicator flashes 3 times, then 6 times. If I remove the battery, I can run the laptop off of AC perfectly fine but the CPU is limited to 0.78 GHZ and the laptop feels very slow because of it. I have two batteries and I have tried this with both of them but its the same result for both. So it's not a problem with the battery. I have also tried the AC adapter on another laptop and it charges fine so its not a problem ith the charger. There was a big windows update a day or two before the issue started so I'm wondering if its just a software problem. My warranty is expired so I'm really hoping this is an issue that I can fix on my own without having to send it in to Lenovo and be billed for it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I bought my Yoga just over a month ago, and not sure if this is an issue or normal for this laptop. When it's plugged in and charging, both the charging adaptor and the bottom of the laptop become very very hot (like burning hot, you wouldn't be able to hold your hand on the surface for over a few seconds). It eventually cools down to normal once taken off charge. I cannot go to the shop where I bought the laptop as I'm abroad for the summer so just want to be sure there is no fault with my laptop / chargin adaptor. Or alternatively, would I be able to use the international warranty if this is faulty? Thanks in advance. Lena

Have anyone had the problem with trying to charge with a normal but stronger phone charger and a USB-C cable, not the ac adapter you get when you buy it. I managed to charge my Yoga 920 at home with the USB-C cable from my BEOplay 1, just a standard USB-C cable and the adapter i use for my Iphone. Worked real good, was happy that it worked so I knew that I wouldn´t have to bring the ac adapter on my trips. So I wen´t on and bought a 3m USB-C cable, but now when I try to charge the Yoga it´s not working at all....I also bought a stronger phone adapter that supports QC 3.0 3.6-6.5=3A.  The main thing I don´t understand is that how the same adapter works with one cable and not the other...USB-C is just one standard. And I´ve of course tried to charge other things with the 3m cable and it works perfect with everything else but not my Yoga...

Just got a new Yoga 730-13¨. Battery will not charge, just remains in a certain percentage (first day it was 13% and second day was 26%). Although I am using the original adapter, which I have verified to be the correct one (65W), Lenovo Vantage reads ¨AC adapter has limited support - This AC adapter cannot provide enough power for normal operation of your computer...¨.  Is this likely a battery, ac adapter, or software problem?

So I haven't had any charging issues recently, but suddenly my Yoga will not charge. I've tried several different outlets, and my Yoga keeps switching between charging and not charging. I don't have another charger to test unfortunately, but any suggestions? I don't know why this is happening. My charger hasn't moved in the past week, and the problem came out of nowhere. It does charge normally if I pass the charge through a USB-C dongle.

A:Yoga 910 Laptop Will Not Charge

Seems like a defective charger, since it charges through the dongle. Contact Lenovo support; they'll have that replaced for you

It's the Lenovo Energy Management settings.Go to Control Panel >> Power Options >> Change plan settings >> Change advanced power settings >> Lenovo Energy Management >> Enable Lenovo Energy Management.Change the battery setting from "Optimized Battery Health" to "Maximum Battery Life." By only partially charging the battery, the software is prolonging the lifespan of the battery itself.  This is true of all laptop batteries.  If you often leave your computer plugged in, it's best to keep this setting enabled.  If you can anticipate your mobile useage in advance, you can just turn off the feature at appropriate times. It would be nice if the setting was easier to change.  If somebody knows an easier way, feel free to post it.I suppose you could always put a shortcut to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Lenovo\Energy Management\Energy Management.exe" on your start screen, taskbar or desktop.  Alternatively, you could put a shortcut on the desktop, assign a hotkey to it, and super-hide the shortcut (a little more advanced).

Hi everyone! I have a Yoga 700 11-inch with the USB-style plug charger. Since I always travel with an Anker 63W Multi-Port charger, I was wondering if I can plug my charging cable into that, instead of the Lenovo power adapter. I don't want to plug the laptop cable in there to try, in case I end up frying something! Here are the specs for the multi-port USB hub: Anker 63W PowerPort Speed (5 ports)Input :AC 100-240V ~ 1.7A 50 - 60HzQuick Charge 3.0 Output :3.6-6.5V=3A, 6.5-9V=2A, 9-12V=1.5APowerIQ Output :5V=4.8A (2.4A Max Per Port)I really don't know much about what the specs mean, so I would appreciate any help...Thanks!
