Inspiron 3537: Boot to Dell recovery UEFI Bios

Q: Inspiron 3537: Boot to Dell recovery UEFI Bios

So, I got a Inspiron 3537 i5. Nice laptop for it's price. Downloaded all the manuals, made my recovery DVDs. All was well in my world.
First thing I noticed is that there is no info in the manuals for tweaking the BIOS and since it is my first experience with a UEFI bios I was a bit disappointed. Is there a manual available for it?
Next I upgraded ATI Drivers to 13.12. I am an old user who always knew that updates were usually a good thing to do. Got in the same problem as many others with PC screen not waking up from sleep.
Thought I would do a recovery from the disk, but after trying various combinations (Ctl+F11, F8, F12 etc) I couldn't find a way to boot in the Recovery console. I did the recovery from my DVD and the laptop works fine.
Does anybody know how to add in UEFI bios a boot option to the Recovery partition? I undersstand that I have to create a new boot option using "Add boot option" and the two options available are to boot to the 1st (windows EFI) or 2nd (recovery partition), but the path for the recovery efi file to be loaded is unknown (+ you can't have access to the recovery partition to see the contents of it from windows). Any suggestions?

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Still haven't found a bios manual, but anyway. I found a combination of drivers for graphics that does work and allows sleep function without a glitch.
amd-catalyst-15.7-without-dotnet45-win8.1-64bit
Intel_Iris_15.36.21.64.4222
Uninstalled amd (complete), reboot, intall iris, reboot, install latest amd. Ati probably fixed the issue that did not allow wake from sleep. I downloaded them using amdautodetect utility and intel driver update utility.

I'm new to UEFI and after a failed BIOS update, I removed and completely reformatted the HDD on another machine, wiping out the UEFI partition. So now I cannot load Dell Recovery to re-flash/repair the BIOS.
I have completed all the steps for notebook computers as suggested on Dell Support here: BIOS Recovery 2 options on a Dell PC or Tablet (http://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/4/SLN300716/en)
I formatted a bootable external USB key with a copy of the BIOS package properly renamed as instructed. However, when I use the CTRL + Esc key combination and power up the computer, the system does not boot to Dell Recovery, but instead the power LED flashes a 3,3 code (3 amber flashes, 3 white flashes) which indicates "Recovery Image Not Found" according to the Dell Knowledge Base. I presume this code is given because it cannot find the Dell Recovery application since it (as well as the entire UEFI partition) is now gone after I reformatted the HDD.
So, I know what the problem is, I just don't know what to do at this point to fix it.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

While analyzing my system to find the latest updates, from Dell website, I was recommended to install Dell Inspiron 3537 System BIOS.  It was a manual installation and when I tried installing, the first message was whether I would want to downgrade my firmware!  So I am confused.  The recommended upgrade will downgrade my firmware??  Is it OK?  Should I go ahead with this upgrade?  Appreciate your suggestions/feedback.

Hi to all,
I have a strange problem with my Dell Inspiron 3537.
One day I shut it down via start>shut down, and after a few minutes I needed to turn it on again and when I pressed the power button it turned on,showed a black screen and shut it down on its own.I pressed the power button again, this time it showed black screen again but didn't turn off,I could hear the fans working and only the power light on(the hdd light was off).
I turned it off,and pressed the power button for 10-15 times, the problem repeated but one time it somehow managed to show the Dell splash screen and booted normally.I firstly thought that the problem is caused by a virus,so I formatted the hdd and reinstalled the win7 ultimate 64 bit.The laptop worked for a few hours without any problem,so I decided to shut it down again via start>shut down, and when I wanted to check if it will work without problem, and when I pressed the power button the same problem again!!
After a 10-15 tries I somehow managed to boot it again and this time it showed a BSOD:error stop 0x0000001E
After this Finally I did a startup repair with the Win 7 installation dvd and the repair showed me this : The following startup option will be repaired name: Windows boot manager and etc. and :The following startup options will be added:Windows recovery enviroment etc. After that repair I decided to shut down the laptop via the same way:start>shut down, and when I tried to start it the same problem!Black screen with only power ... Hi DHEXZTAH05
Thanks for writing to us.
Please load bios by tapping on f2 during bootup and check if the HD is detected.
If possible you can try this HD on another machine or another HD on this machine. Also please run diagnostics from f12 menu and if the test passes, then consider formatting the system first.
Do provide us your system tag#, email address and name via private message.

Hi,
Yesterday, I bought a replacement battery from a local vendor for my dell inspiron 15 3537 laptop.
The new battery is 6cell, 11.1 V, 440 mAh and 65 Wh battery. The original battery which came with laptop was 4 cell(aprox), 14.8V, 40Wh battery.
I have been looking over the internet to cure my obsession that the new battery may damage the laptop internal circuitry. I found some reasonable answers. Still, I want to get feedback from dell community about this issue.?
What dell recommends for replacing batteries and what to do if the same battery specs are not available? Also, What are the operational Voltage range for dell laptops for 3537 series?
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards!

Hi OMERASIF,
The 4 cell battery was designed to be used with the non touch variant of the Inspiron 3537 model.
Kindly review the specifications here. The power and range info is also mentioned in the specifications.
You could order the replacement battery from Dell site if required.
Also, please click my DELL-username and write me a private message with the service tag and your Name for case records.

First thing to check is the condition of the display cable - runs between the mainboard and back of the screen.  If it shows broken pins at either end or damaged conductors anywhere along its length, replace the cable.  If the cable checks out OK, replace the display panel with a new one.

Hi to all!
I need some help!
My Dell Inspiron 3537,which is almost 3 years old is overheating!
I am facing the overheating problems for a long time! The laptop's fans were cleaned, and the thermal paste for the CPU and GPU was also repasted,Yesterday by the technicians from the autorized service for my laptop.
But the laptop is overheating again, the region of the keyboard is very hot,the fans are working with 3900 RPM's!
I have tried SpeedFan,HW Monitor,HW Info,OpenHardware Monitor,RealTemp,CoreTemp and all of them show me temps about 57-63 degrees Celsius, and please mention that these temps are shown while the system is idle, and I am using a coolingpad;if I turn off the coolingpad the laptop gets hotter and hotter! And the ambient temperature is approximately of 27-28 degrees Celsius!
I am very scared that something bad could happen to the mainboard and the CPU too!
The technicians say that they had done everything they could, because the laptop's hardware passes all of the diagnostics tests!
It passes all of the onboard diagnostic tests, and all of the diagnostics tests from the Dell support page!
I am really afraid of playing some "heavy" game like GTA V,because I think that it would warm the hardware parts!
So please tell me,how can I test the hardware personally if everything is all right with it and are the temps of the CPU of 58-63 degrees ,while the system is idle normal(plus I am using a cooling pad!)
then how can I fix this problem ,and is there a ... Read more

Those temperatures are well within safety margins -- that said, if you try to tow a trailer with an economy car, it'll overheat - this isn't a system designed for heavy gaming.  It's an economy model - not a hauler or high performance model.

Can you please confirm the port on the laptop is 1.4 and I can run that resolution?

When I listen to my internal mic on my laptop I cannot hear anything but scratching or tapping on the laptop next to the mic. Is this a driver problem or do most of these models have this issue? Also there is no mic input on this type of Inspiron I was wondering if there is a way of using cellphone headphones as a mic and headphones at the same time? Or do I have to get a usb microphone?

A:Dell Inspiron 3537 internal mic not working

Priest96When I listen to my internal mic on my laptop I cannot hear anything
By default, you can't hear the mic. This is to prevent feedback. In order to hear the mic, open the Sound dialog, the Recording tab, select Microphone, then Properties. In the Properties box, select the Listen tab, then check the box to listen to the mic, and where you want to send the signal.

If you still cannot hear it, or if it doesn't seem to be working at all, make sure it is selected as the default device. If still no luck, it might be defective or disconnected. Sometimes functioning can be recovered by removing the bezel and reseating the camera connection, and make sure that the mic is lined up with the hole, and with no obstruction there. There is a service manual available with instructions and diagrams if you want to attempt that.
Priest96Is this a driver problem or do most of these models have this issue?
We get posts about mics not working, but I'm not aware of it being a particular problem with this model. It's probably not the driver but it is a possibility. You could download and install a fresh copy of the driver, for your operating system, from your support page. You could install a different version of the driver. Or you could test the driver by switching to the Windows native audio driver.

External video cards require an Express Card slot your system doesn't have.   Even on systems that have them, you still basically wind up with a desktop system -- you can't use one with the internal display screen;  you must use an external monitor.  And most are more expensive that just buying a desktop system in the first.place.

I am not sure exactly where the boot in hanging in regard to Windows or just Bios boot.  You could turn on the boot log option is msconfig.exe and then, after having a boot which exhibited the condition, check the log to see if it shows some device not installing.
Others may recommend you run the diagnostics to see if they show anything.  I believe the F12 key during boot allows access.

Recently I am getting problem with my laptop. I thought the problem was with Windows OS so made fresh install. The problem occurs both on windows 7 and Windows 10 OS. After few minutes of booting, laptop freezes. It runs for about 5 to 30 minutes and suddenly freezes and mouse and keyboard becomes unresponsive. I have not overclocked or made some unusual changes in hardware. I have ran chkdsk and there is no disk error.
However the problem does not occur in Linux Mint partition. It can run perfectly all day on Linux Mint. Please help me to diagonize and solve the problem.

A:Laptop freezing Dell Inspiron 3537

So you notice the problem in Windows 7 and 10 but not in Linux, is this correct?  I take it that in Linux the notebook runs fine?  Have you always noticed the problem, and if not when did it start? Was any changes made to the system prior to when the problem started?
What was the original operating system that the notebook shipped in? Did you notice the problem before any of the other operating systems were installed? Are you dual booting the system or have only tried one OS at a time?
Were any changes made to the BIOS while either reinstalling an OS, or in troubleshooting the hangs and if so what where they?  Have you tried updating the BIOS, the latest version A08 may be downloaded here.
If the system is working alright in Linux it doesn't sound like a hardware problem. There are no issues that I am aware of that will cause this type of behavior  for the 3537 at least out of the ordinary. So to solve the problem it is likely going to take narrowing down when the problem started and what was changed on the system when the problem started to occur.

I'm having a lot of trouble using my laptop since win 10 upgrade.
1.The drivers are really very old(seems like win 8.1 drivers have been used) especially the BIOS driver which dates back to 2014.
2.The boot time has increased alot from 15 seconds to approx 70+ seconds. Also the Dell logo shows twice(once the regular one and one more in which the rotating dots are very slow).
I've contacted Microsoft support for the same. After diagnosis they said it was a driver issue.  Also I've contacted the DELL support as well but I got the answer as "Sorry sir, your warranty period is over and hence we cannot resolve this issue."
I would appreciate the driver updates from DELL software community. And also to keep providing updates for the laptops series which have closed.(This is a common problem with DELL , stopping software updates for old laptop series).Any help regarding the above issue are welcome . Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately, I cannot say when or if the Windows 10 drivers for the Inspiron 3537 will be updated. However, you may want to istall a fresh Windows 10 upgrade  on your computer. You will need to install the original installed OS on your computer and then upgrade to Windows 10.  I have included some links to help you if you choose to do so.

Hi, I have a problem with my front audio jack. The cause of this problem may or may not be the DAW reaper. I set my front headphone jack on my laptop as reapers input and the speakers on the laptop as its output. This did not work so I uninstalled the program. I tried to use my headphones but there is nothing. I uninstalled all the drivers for Realtek and reinstalled them. I have also tried system restores, 4 times. They keep failing regardless of whether Avast is off or not. The speakers work, and when the headphones get plugged in (they work on my phone and other PC's in the house perfectly fine), they are recognized by Dell Audio. The problem is, the only thing in the playback tab in sound (hidden or not) is speakers and a monitor I don't want to use. Can anyone help me diagnose the problem? I really want to use my headphones again.

Hello.
After upgrading and installing the necessary drivers  to Windows 10 x64 two problems arrived.  One was the Touchpad, 2 finger press - right click doesn't work. The other and more important the dedicated video GPU AMD 8850M isn't powering down in idle. It builds up head in the center of the laptop where it's located and consumes more battery. In AIDA64 the power drain in windows 8.1 x64 was a 5W in idle, witch is great but in Windows 10 is around 12- 10 W, more than double. From a theoretical 6h battery life i now get around 3h. I checked everything in AMD Catalyst, put all software on powersave, making sure the dedicated gpu was not active in idle but with no luck. A workaround was to install the latest amd catalyst driver from amd official site, the gpu was powering down in idle but then the sleep / wake problems and blue screens arrived.
So in the end i'm stuck with a faulty gpu driver that builds up heat in the laptop and reduces the battery life to a half. I would go back to Windows 8.1 but I'm not sure if I will lose the Windows 10 free upgrade, because they ended the deal this month.
If there is a solution to this problem, please let me now. Thank you.

I have a Dell Inspiron 3537 with a cracked touch screen. I would like to replace the screen but cannot determine the correct part to purchase.  Is it a Touch Screen only or is it an LCD with embedded touch?
It looks like the LCD with embedded touch is correct, but I would like to be sure.
Thanks

This is a last ditch effort to attempt to figure out what's wrong. I've been having to use a mouse the past few days on my Dell Inspiron 3537 because of it's sudden, odd touchpad problem. Now, this laptop is at least three years old, and it'll probably be high time to get a new one eventually, but I would rather like to see if this is a small issue I could get fixed and maybe get a few more months or another year out of it.
Essentially, on Saturday, my laptops' touchpad began to go on the fritz. It began to highlight, click, and drag objects while I was only moving the cursor across the screen. I was baffled and I proceeded to see if my drivers needed to be updated. Nope, according to the Dell website, my drivers for my touchpad were up to date. I looked into the touchpad properties, got no results from that, and eventually I decided to see if going back on a touchpad driver update might help. That didn't fix anything and actually removed the entire driver from my system, so I ended up re-downloading the touchpad driver. That didn't help either. Every time I thought I had maybe fixed it, it went right back to highlighting and clicking without my input. At that point, I gave up and disabled the touchpad and grabbed my mouse, which I've been using ever since.
My only other thought is that my touchpad has a dead spot, and/or this issue is just age and it's time to start backing up files and looking for a new one. Any help out there for me?

Hey guys,
I just bought a Dell Inspiron 3537 with 500 gb hard drive capacity, 4 GB RAM, no graphics card and came with UBUNTU as its OS. So I made a clean install of Windows 8.1 pro myself. All the drivers that have been provided by the site installed perfectly, except for the 1705 wireless and bluetooth driver :/ Please help !!It says that the driver isnt for my platform .. wth :@I even tried checking my drivers via Intel and it says that it doesnt recognize my wireless card.

A:Dell Inspiron 3537 , can't install 1705 wireless and bluetooth drivers on Windows 8.1 pro

Dell Wireless 1705 is not an Atheros Card therefore the Intel download centre will say its an unrecognised device. Follow the instructions here and provide the hardware IDs for your wireless card as sometimes the Dell Service Tag gives the wrong drivers:
http://dellwindowsreinstallationguide.com/downloading-drivers-checking-hardware-ids-and-downloading-and-installing-dell-system-drivers-in-the-correct-order/
Does it match:
PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036 PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_020C1028&REV_01 PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036&SUBSYS_020C1028 PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036&CC_028000 PCI\VEN_168C&DEV_0036&CC_0280
If so try this driver

Hi to all,
I would like to know which are the normal operating temperatures of the  Intel I7-4500u and the AMD Radeon 8850M --- the CPU and the GPU of my Dell Inspiron 3537?
And which are the normal temperatures of these CPU and GPU while playing games with huge usage of these CPU and GPU?
I would also like to know which is the normal range of the speed of the fans, while normal working on the laptop , and while playing games with huse usage  use of these CPU and GPU?
And which is the most reliable program for monitoring the CPU's and GPU's temps and speed of the fans?(SpeedFan or HWiNFO64 Program or MSI Afterburner for an eg. ??)
Please someone answer to me!
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
Best regards!

A:Which are the normal operating temperatures of the Intel I7-4500u and the AMD Radeon 8850M(the CPU and the GPU of Dell Inspiron 3537)?

Hi MARSPS,
What is the current OS installed on the system? Is there any issue on the system while playing games? Does the system overheat?
The maximum  cpu / gpu could go from 75 °C - 100 °C and the fan usually kicks in when there is excess heat being generated.
If the system overheats and the fan makes a lot of noise, firstly update the BIOS and reinstall the video drivers from the support site - link below. You could also reinstall the video drivers from the vendor site - Intel or AMD, depending on the issue on the system.
If the overheat is not reduced, then there might be dust accumulated in the air vents and the fan assembly. This needs be cleaned with a small vacuum cleaner or a can of compressed air. Download the service manual here - http://dell.to/29DfXXz
The SpeedFan is a good utility to monitor the fan and cpu temperature levels.
Also, please click my DELL-username and write me a private conversation with the service tag and your contact details(Name and Email) for case records.
Let us know if you have any other queries.

Hello,
I am having problems with direct booting into Windows 8 installed into a VHDX file.
This is a four-partition UEFI boot on a GPT drive. EFI files are residing on a second partition of disk 0 (the ESP partition) in the EFI folder. The boot virtual disk is residing on the fourth partition of that disk 0.
When I turn on the PC, it shows black screen after the BIOS POST screen. No Windows 8 boot menu, no other information is displayed. However, if I press Shift+F12 (or F12) to start Dell BIOS Boot Menu and choose Windows Boot Manager from the UEFI part of
the boot menu, Windows 8 starts to boot without difficulties.
How do I make Windows to boot automatically without having to select Windows Boot Manager in DELL BIOS boot menu?
I believe I messed up with boot sector somehow... What needs to be fixed provided that Windows 8 will boot into VHDX file?
Thank you.

Well this is the world we live in And these are the hands we're given...

I corrupted my bios during a bios update downloaded from the Dell website.
Since then, the computer has not been switching on, it basically doesnt boot.
I have downloaded the latest bios (O14A13.exe) and have extracted the .hdr and .rom files.
Renamed them according to the phoenix program for recovery mode.
Tried mounting usb drives to reflash the bios - but nothing seems to work as of yet. Tried:
a) MiniDOS bootable usb. FAT.
b) Wincrisis bootable usb with PHLASH16 and MINIDOS. renamed .rom to .wph. FAT
c) non bootable usb with just .hdr and .rom files. FAT32.
Inserted usb without battery in laptop, unplugged, and pressing the "end" key, I reinserted the ac adaptor.
As of now, the c) option seems to work the best as the laptop doesnt restart in a loop after some time (as in a) and b)) but doesnt seem to be doing anything either! The usb leds are on all the time. Been almost 30 minutes now.
Not sure what else I can try.

I am very frustrated with my friends laptop. She asked me to restore her computer to factory settings. She is not at all tech savvy, so I know for a fact she did not do anything to mess it up. It was running fine, but she just wanted to clean it out and bring it back to like new. She pretty much only uses her computer for school papers and email. I have done factory recovery on many computers at this point and I have never had any problems at all until now.

First thing I did was hook up my external hard drive and saved all of her documents and pictures. I then restarted the computer and pressed F8 and then clicked on repair my computer. It took me to datasafe backup and restore. I went as far as to restore the factory image. I chose not to save any files and to restore it to new again. It completed as normal and I clicked restart. This is where things went very wrong.

When it restarts, a list of files pops up and then it says "Setup is preparing your computer for first use." It also shows another list of files that seem to be loading as well as it tells me that it is booting in safemode. Next thing it says is that "Setup will continue after restarting your computer". It then continues to restart and perform this boot loop until I turn it off.

I tried to repair the computer and it would fail saying it was offline. So, I plugged the hard drive into an adapter to hook it to my other computer. I opened the disk manager... Read more

A:Dell Inspiron 1545 continuously boot loops after factory recovery

When Recovery fails when run from partition on the HD, then the Disks which should have been made as a backup are used. If you didn't make these disks, then they can be ordered from Dell Tech Support.

You can also consider doing a superior clean reinstall using the Win7 installation DVD for her version with the Product Key on COA sticker. This actually makes the computer better than new since it doesn't have the freeloading bloatware and useless factory utilities which have better versions built into Win7.

The only Dell Utilities worth keeping are System Diagnostics which should maintain their hotkey to run from boot - try it now.

Hi! I've been pulling my hair out for the past 2 days trying to repair
an Inspiron 2600. It cannot boot from USB, its floppy drive is dead,
and its optical drive isn't working too well. The 2600 is from 2002 and
I can tell it's been dropped and cracked a few times.
A friend gave me this ancient laptop in (somewhat) working condition.
It ran Windows XP okay and booted up fine. I thought that it would be
faster with Xubuntu (a lightweight linux distro). And so, I attempted
to install Xubuntu 10.10 via DVD using the laptop's DVD drive. I was
unable to install Xubuntu nor was I able to boot it up as a live OS due
to some video problems. Determined, I quickly downloaded and burned the
alternate version of the Xubuntu install. This time, I was able to
install Xubuntu (after a few tries, due to the shotty optical drive) but
it failed to install GRUB, a bootloader. This resulted in the laptop
displaying "Operating System not found". I then reformatted the HD and
reinstalled Xubuntu, this time with GRUB and I still got "Operating
System not found". Thinking something was wrong with the installation, I
re-installed Grub probably 10 times until I gave up and decided to re
install Windows.
After completely reformatting the C: drive, I installed Windows XP Pro
SP3; but I still got "Operating System not found". Assuming it was an
MBR problem, I used a boot cd compilation's various MBR too... Read more

Go into BIOS setup options and load default settings. Then try to boot again. You may enter advanced repair options at this time automatically. Scan the drive, let it run it's repairs, and see where that get's you. If that does not work, a wipe and re-load of your OS is necessary.

Hey dell support staff . After the last Radeon software update for my Amd HD 8850m dGPU . ( 3/28/2016 ).
My laptop started having thread stuck in device driver error . After a few restarts the screen froze and the laptop could not be operated anymore. It had the windows 10 update from dell I was shocked that an amd official driver could wreck my laptop. To my dissapointement after formatting the laptop windows 10 auto updated to "its official version " and any time i tried installing the amd driver the laptop would freeze and stop working.
And to add to this dell has stopped supporting this laptop as the official drivers from dell for AMD is not recognized by my laptop!.

I took the laptop to the authorized service center , locally @ jayanagara bengaluru  and the service technician hardware disabled my dedicated GPU  .  Repairs for the laptop will mean i would have to replace the mother board for  inr 14500 ( approx 215$ ) with 30 days warranty for the replacement !  . All this just to use the Radeon GPUThe GPU is half the reason i got the model and dell has horribly let down by not supporting the laptop past the initial one year warranty . With no updates . All this when a driver updated started the problem and there is no  software update will fix this .Right now i am using a disabled gpu ( on intel hd gpu ) on my laptop . and i am writing to the official dell support forum for any solution to get my gpu working again . If that mean... Read more

Every since windows 10 upgrade i have been having issues with my audio. When i start a video for the first time i will hear crackling and poping noise then it will catch up after i pause the video and play again.  Then the audio slowly goes out of sync.  At first i thought that were my speakers, but it was happening over headphones as well.  I tried the latest version of driver along with switching to the windows 10 generic audio drivers.  Anyone else having issues with this?

Hi!
I've a DELL INSPIRON ONE 2020 All-In-One PC (purchased on 15th April, 2013). I installed the Insider's Build of Windows 10 x64 about 2 months ago. I wasn't satisfied with it's performance, so I decided to reinstall Windows 8 in it (which came preinstalled as OEM when I purchased the PC). But unfortunately (for me), the DELL BACKUP AND RECOVERY software which I discretely installed in it failed to apply the factory image with error somewhat stating, "DBAR failed to apply the image". Also, the Dell Backup and Recovery is not even available in the Bootup Recovery mode and not even if I press F8 or other function keys. I googled and found methods to apply the image using ImageX tool in boot mode. I put the hotfix KB2525084 (actually the ImageX tool) in my Pendrive and in the recovery mode, I used Command Prompt and typed the follwing command:
j:\imagex /apply f:\DELL\Image\PART0001\EFI.wim 1 c:\
where j:\ is my pendrive ; f:\ was the partition with .wim image in it ; c:\ was the OS path to be recovered.
It completed in just 4 seconds! But other websites stated that it would take around 15-20 minutes to complete applying the image. I understood that something is fishy, and I was right! The PC didn't boot again. Also the apllied image showed just somewhat 250mb of data, but my hard disk (named PBR Image) was of around 9gb in size. The swm files in it (2 in nos.) were around 4gb each. I looked another forum and that stated to format the C:\ drive. I... Read more
