I had a failed restore and had to download a windows 10 iso from Microsoft. That installed fine but now my hdmi port does not work. I found that, in my device manager, I have 7 devices that do not have their drivers installed. HP, unfortunately, does not provide drivers for the motherboard of this model. Where do I go from here?

Hello, I did a clean install of windows 7 over top of windows 8 via new copy on CD. After the clean install I am missing all the usb, ethernet controller, network controller, PCI device drivers. When I go to the hp website to find the drivers, it is only offering drivers for windows 8 + windows 10. I also can't save the drivers to usb to install to the computer with the windows 7 since the drivers are not installed. I also have not internet due to the same issue. Hi All,Need urgent help!I reset my HP notebook to factory setting wiping all files and it started installing Windows back.... However it has now been stuck on installing Windows (configuring settings) for like 16 hours going between 64% and 97% then restarting and starting from 64% and I don't know what to do!!!!! ChelsHoll16 Without the PC model number, there's no way I can tell if your PC came preinstalled with Win10, or if you did an Upgrade from a prior OS. If you did the Upgrade, that is known to trash the HP Recovery information in the process, such that no HP recovery will work properly after that. My laptop probably suffered some damage within the couple years that I have had it but never had any running problems with my baby. I recently went to turn my computer on and the screen stayed black. The fan is still running and LED lights are still lit so I do not know what the problem is. I think it could be the monitor but I do not have an external monitor to test it on. I know that I am running on the Windows 10 OS but I am not sure if it is 32-bit or 64-bit

Hi: It's possible that HP has the wrong drivers on the support page. Try the W7 x64 drivers and software from the equivalent HP 250 G4 business notebook. Don't use any of the BIOS or firmware files from that model on yours. There never has been a 100% reliable list of what is past the whitelist but based on your hardware and the 2104 copyright on the service manaul, you are past the whitelist. The big problem you may still have is that your laptop series often only has one w-fi antenna. If so it is basically impossible to upgrade to a dual band card. The only way to know for sure if you have a single antenna is to open it up. Service Manual See p. 51. Can you take it back? If you can, run don't walk and beg them to give you your money back and buy a computer with a real processor and a decent amount of memory, and some storage. That laptop has the Celeron N3050 and 2 gigs of non-upgradeable RAM, and a puny 32 gig hard drive which also cannot be upgraded, which is just rubbish. I mean it is $265US which will not buy a decent cell phone. It is a dirty secret and not popular to hear but the computer market is a race to the bottom; everybody trying to sell computers as cheap as possible and to do so corners must be cut and that computer is a circle. I decided to update my AMD display drivers two days ago. The AMD update screen stayed on for 6 hours so I decided to restart the machine.Since then, the machine will not start. My HP Pavilion Notebook - 15t-ab100 CTO (ENERGY STAR) will not maintain my WiFi connection even though the WiFi is still connected to every other device in the house. I have tried using Internet Explorer, Chrome and FireFox. Fire Fox is the best, but i still have times when I have to disconnect and reconnect the Notebook 5-10 times an hour and sometimes it doesn't work to do that. Then it comes back just like nothing happened. I have tried the network diagnostics and sometimes it resets my adaptor sometimes it says there's nothing wrong. I still have 35 days left on my warantee but i cannot talk to tech support...WHAT"S UP WITH THAT?!?!?! I got my laptop about a month ago and from the start my microphone wasn't working. My speakers were fine, and I could hear everyone I was talking to but they told me that they could barely hear me, almost couldn't hear me at all. I didn't know what the problem was so I went out and bought a basic logitech headset (with microphone) and that still doesn't work. Hi, Try the following. First of all, remove any devices connected to the notebook, including the headset. Download the Realtek HD Audio installer on the link below and save it to your Downloads folder. http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp72001-72500/sp72090.exe When done, hold down the Windows key and press R Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter. In Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game Controllers. Right click the Realtek device and select Uninstall - you should also get a prompt to remove the current driver, tick the box to allow this and then proceed with the uninstall. When complete,, shutdown the notebook. Unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery. Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds. Re-insert the battery and plug in the AC Adapter. Tap away at the esc key as you start the notebook to launch the Start-up Menu and then select f10 to enter the bios menu. Press f9 to load the defaults ( this is sometimes f5, but the menu at the bottom will show the correct key ), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. Press f10 to save the setting and again use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and hit enter. When windows has reloaded, open your Downloads folder, right click on the Realtek installer and select 'Run as Administrator' to start the installation. Hi, I have a problem with my HP Notebook - 15-ac129nia (ENERGY STAR).I recently install Windows 7 (64-bit) previously windows 10 (64-bit) pre-install.I have install all drivers for the win 7 on the HP Official site and all was install perfectly.After update by windows some adapters were install and i lost the two swicthable Intel and AMD graphic card.I really don't know what to do.I can't play any games and all that i do resume to be not the solution.My graphics are Intel(R) HD Graphics 5500 & AMD Radeon R5 M330.
