dual display issues

Q: dual display issues

OK so i just got two 17" lcd monitors for my computer and want to hook them both up for a dual display, with the desktop extended onto the second monitor. So far i've tried using the onboard graphics + PCI, as well as PCI+PCI, but niether works adequately. PCI + Onboard lets both screens be used, but only 1 displays correctly. The onboard graphics is fine, but for some odd reason the PCI card will only give me the options for a 800x600 resolution with 4 bit colors. As for PCI + PCI, it will only allow one PCI card to work at a time. Is there anything I can do about this without going out and spending money? I'm broke, so really any money spent is impossible. lol.

PCI 1= nVidia Geforce 6200 (Primary GPU)
PCI 2= nVidia GeForce FX 5200
Onboard=Intel chipset something or other....i had to uninstall the drivers to get my primary PCI card to work right again

I'm running Windows XP Pro SP3......Any and all help is appreciated Thnks

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

I recently hooked up a secondary monitor to my ati 9800 XT, and its crap!

It's a Goldstar Stuidoworks 76i monitor. I have a dvi-vga adaptor and a regular vga-m/m cable. the problem isnt with the dvi cause if i plug my good monitor into the dvi adaptor, it works well and the 76i is still blurry.

the problem is if i change the resolution to anything greater than 800x600, the picture gets very fuzzy, and unusable. i've tried lots of different freq. combinations, and tried changing the colour as well. i looked all over for drivers for the monitor but i didnt find any for XP, i found something that was basically colour profiles, i loaded them, but they didnt change anything.

am i forgetting something? or is the monitor just CRAPOLA?

thank you so much for your help!!

A:Fuzzy Secondary Display? 9800XT dual display issues.

Well since you checked to DVI adapter with another monitor I say your monitor is going bad. How old is it? There might be a label with the year on it the back. I have seen this happen to monitors only old 3 years old but usually it monitors older than that.

Other signs indicating its near death is a high pitch whine at higher resolutions or max brightness and contrast.

Tell us what you find.

Hi all

I have spent a long time investigating this with no luck yet. I have a 4k display and a second 1080p display. Using the Skylake onboard Intel HD 530 graphics. Either display alone works fine at native res, however in dual monitor config, the smaller display appears fuzzy/aliased. This is not just the text but the entire content and seems to happen for all apps including Edge. I have messed around with the display scaling with no luck. Even when both are set at 100% (making the 4k content super small) the problem persists. I have verified that both are at native res and have the latest drivers. Doe anyone have any more suggestions?

Thanks!

A:Issues with dual display 4k + HD

I could be wrong, because my only dual-monitor setup uses identical monitors, but I always though you would need a third-party app, like Display Fusion, to handle multiple monitors with different resolutions. Maybe this is still the case?

I recently purchased two LG L203WT LCD monitors. I have an ASUS NVIDIA GEFORCE 6600 GT with a DVI and a VGA port. When I plug in both monitors, one will work fine a the native resolution of 1680 by 1050, but the other will only go to 1600 by 1024. I have updated all drivers. I'm pretty sure it's not a problem with the monitor bacuase the problem switches monitors when i switch the cables. through a complex process of switching between the dvi cable and a vga to dvi adapter, I can get them both to the correct resolution, but it reverts upon computer restart. The problem is not just with the monitor plugged into the DVI port, sometimes the one on the VGA port has the problem. could the problem be related to the fact that my graphics card only has one dvi port? Tigerdirect is selling a setup very similar to mine but the graphics card has two dvi ports. (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=3106998&CatId=2776) Should I buy a graphics card with two dvi ports? Or do I need a second graphics card? I'm completely out of ideas.

Thanks in advance for the help!

What's the max res for the video card?
What's the max for each monitor?
Try lowering the res for both so the max up correctly..
If both monitors have DVI you can get a DVI Y monitor split..

connects to the video card --female with two male ends (for each monitor to connect)

Don't mix VGA and DVI together is has to be one or the other. It might work for some but I don't recommend it. Unless you use a VGA Y cable to split the two monitors.

Again don't max the res until you can get the both of the monitors to work correctly.

I have the following system:

MOBO: ASUS P5N32-SLI Se Deluxe
OS: Windows XP Pro
Processor: 2.9 Ghz dual core
Memory: 4GB System RAM (it's 32-bit so only sees about 3)
Hard Drive: 250 GB x 2
GPU: Nvidia 9800GT x 2 running SLI mode

I just purchased a Wacom Cintiq12 drawing/display tablet and I'm trying to set it up as a second display monitor. The Cintig is plugged in to the same GPU card as my main monitor. There are two things I'm confused about. For some reason, In the Display properties settings tab, Windows shows me as having three monitors, when I should only have two. Also, after I installed the drivers for the Cintiq, one of the monitors was correctly identified as a the Cintiq, but after reboot it defaulted back to "Default" monitor in the drop down box. In any case, for some reason, I can't assign the tablet as a second monitor in the Windows settings panels. When I activate the second monitor and check "Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" and click apply, it unchecks it automatically and does nothing.

With my current NVidia settings panel, I do not see any multi display options for SLI mode (if there are any). I tried disabling SLI but that still will not display on the Cintiq. The only way I can get the Cintiq to display is to make it my primary SLI target on the NVidia control panel.

Does NVidia support dual displays in SLI mode? Is this a know issue? I want to run my main monitor and my Cintiq display simultan... Read more

Ok so I've researched for the past week and have found nothing so I figured I'd ask you guys for some help.

I just upgraded from XP to Vista Home Premium (32 Bit) and I'm having a heck of a time getting my dual display working. I'm using an nVidia 8800GT card with dual DVI out. The first is going to my 24'' HP monitor, the second is going to my 42'' LCD TV. In the nVidia Control panel, it is recognizing both however, when I go to clone the screen the secondary monitor turns on but it is just a black screen, no image.

I've been looking all over for fixes for this and have yet to find any, this is really hindering my production capabilities so any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Hi All,
We've installed a number of Dell Optiplex 3040 machines running Windows 10 pro x64 at a customers site with dual Dell E2316H monitors connected directly via VGA and display port cables.
Two users have reported daily issues of the monitors flickering black and going off before coming back a few seconds later.
We've tried updating the graphics driver, firmware, changing power settings and swapping out cables for new ones - none of this has made any difference.
We've also asked the users to move desks and connect to working monitors. The issue followed the PC's and occured on the other monitors.
We only have remote access to the machines at the moment so Dell won't help troubleshoot.
I've seen other posts reporting the same issue with the Optiplex 3040's so wondering if this is a known issue.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Can you Private Message me a service tag of one of the systems that is having this issue? Also does it seem to matter what port/monitor is doing it, or are both monitors flickering?Best regards,Brad

I've been having some issues with dual display with a T440s and a 40A2009US Ultra Dock. OS is Windows 7 64 Enterprise. I two identical Dell LCDs connected to the dock. One via VGA and the other DVI. Both displays are being mirrored and I can't seem to change it. There is only one monitor listed in Device manager. Both external monitors will only display an image if the PC is started closed from the docking station power button. Removing the laptop and replacing it on the docking station does not wake the monitors and there is no image until the laptop is manually shutdown and restarted. I have updated graphics drivers, as well as any driver related to the dock (USB3.0 etc). I have tried a displayport to DVI connector as well, no go. After some research I discovered the firmare may need to be updated. The synaptics package from the lenovo support downloads site gave me the message that my firmware was already up to date. The other fwdphb06.exe that is recommended elsewhere would not update. When I double-click the package there is no install prompt or process being run. There is an external monitor connected to the dock. I have swapped the dock for another, as well as the power supplies for each. I'm stumped. Any idea what my issue may be?

Morning, Trying to figure out something here, this is, for all intents and purposes, something new for me, as I've been mostly a "Mom n Pop" Tech vs "Business Tech" so, anyway. I'm working with M900, and M910Q with Intel 530 Integrated for video. I'm trying to trouble the following issues to verify if I missed anything, before punting said minipcs to Lenovo for RMA. Anywho, issues: 1. A M910Q, only the DP port with the metal bracket will work. When the Primary is plugged in, any secondary plugged into the other ports will show up under that port when looking at it in the Intel GFX Display view. I figured this out when I changed the resolution on the 2nd monitor, primary changes. Primary is the live monitor. 2. We have a number of M910s and M900's where when trying to use dual monitors, thru DP -> VGA or DP -> DVI. Monitors would flicker like strobe lights. This can sometimes be bandaided by swapping cables and adapters, but not completely remove the issue. I will point out that we do not have any actual DP Capable monitors on site. Not yet anyway, and those that will be, are going to ThinkCentres with Discrete Cards in them... Ideas? Am I miss anything? I don't see anything in the BIOS to help me, and updating the drivers doesn't seem to provide resolution either. Most are running old drivers, but a few are running the latest for the machine.

Hello all,

I am running a HTPC with windows vista. My case come with a 7" touchscreen display, and i also have it connected to my 46" LCD. I have them running in extended mode (dual screen)
Problem is when i switch the tv to other output modes IE switch to xbox 360 and then come back to the HTPC, the PC pc will scan and reset the screen resolution. the tv will stay at 1920x1080 but the 7"LCD will move from 800x600( where it need to be) to 1024x768, this throws off the software that is running on the touchscreen and it just doesn't look right i always have to manually set the res back to 800x600, is there a way to lock the res to stay at 800x600? the tv holds the right res but i can't understand why the smaller 7" can't. this has been eating me for months now.

Windows 7 64 turns off the monitor 1 signal after startup. At login, it powers off monitor 1 and powers on monitor 2. Windows 7 behaves as though dual display is working even though monitor 1 does not display. It's the same for single display, the monitor will not work on cable 1 except at startup.

Both 'Extend these displays' in Windows Screen Resolution and 'Extend' in the Nvidia Control Panel is selected. And changing which one is primary does not turn on monitor 1. Nor does switching the position of display 1 in either (ex. left/right/top/bottom).

My ThinkPad T500 running 64-bit Windows 7 Professional Edition worked great on and off a mini docking station with 2 external monitors. The dual-display setup allowed me to have more desktop space; when needed, I can take the laptop off the docking station (following undocking steps) and use it anywhere. This convenience no longer holds after upgrading to Windows 10.

With the T500 in the docking station (LCD lid closed), I can use the dual-display setup as in Windows 7. However, after shut-down and remove the T500 off the docking station and the T500 laptop becomes unusable because its LCD display doesn't show anything after boot. (While booting the laptop's display shows the ThinkPad boot logo and then some DOS-mode boot messages and then the windows 10 logo and its dotted spinning wheel; after the initial boot the display went blank and the Windows 10 desktop doesn't come up.)

The only way to make the T500 laptop usable on its own is to go through a "preparation procedure" and here is how the procedure goes: While the T500 is on the docking station in the dual-display setup with the 2 external monitors, open the T500's lid and set its display as the main display and then select to disconnect the other 2 external displays (in the Settings -> System -> Display page); then , in the T500's LCD display, select the shut down. Once the T500 is properly powered off, remove it from the docking station and the T500 can work on its own as a laptop supposed to be. W... Read more

There are three major issues I have with my laptop, and I was wondering if anyone else had them too.. I have not contacted dell support yet, but I will in the following weeks if I don't somehow figure out what's is going on myself.
I've had my laptop for a little bit under 2 months, so these are the things I have noticed.
Issue number 1: When you plug in the power cord into the computer, the screen freezes on what it is currently on. I noticed this issue because occasionally when I plug in my power cord, and try to use the mousepad to select something, the mouse pointer is gone! I have to unplug-replug the power cable to get the mouse pointer to show again. I have no idea what the cause of this issue is. It seems to have to do with the screen
Issue number 2: when I carry my E7440 around in my bad, or have it shut for long periods of time >3 hours (I just simply close the lid), the computer will SHUT DOWN. The thing will shut down completly, even though I simply closed the lid! At first I thought it was just going into hibernate, so I disabled hibernate in my power settings. But nope, even when the computer is asleep, it will occasionally shut it self down for no reason at all.
Just now, I closed the lid on my laptop, and put in in my bag, then walked to my office about 10 minutes away. When I sat down at my desk and opened my laptop, to my surprise, it had shut down by itself! All of my open windows, browsers, and applications were closed, and upon ... Read more

A:E7440 - sleep Issues and display issues

Update by original poster! This does not work!
PARTIAL FIX
1. Press F2 when booting and go to setup.
2. Go to Power options and disable the "block sleep" feature .
3. Save and reboot.
4. The system seems to now go into hibernate when closing the lid.
5. In fact in Windows, you can't see the sleep option anymore.
This takes longer to wake up the laptop but at least all work is intact.
Let me know if it helps you.

Hey i have been trying to setup a dual-monitor display on my PC, i have had it setup previously but dismantled it when i moved the location of my computer and have only recently decided to set it up again.

When i try extend my monitor to my second screen the power button flashes on and off, but doesnt go into standby which i presume means its got some sort of signal but it doesnt display the image, (thts on a Samsung Syncmaster 151s the screen u use previously). Also when i screenshot my desktop it extends my background as if there was a screen there.

I have also tried using a acer AL1714, but that goes into standby not picking up any signal whatsoever but is picked up by the nVidia control panel as a secondary screen with its model number so it doesnt quite make sense why it picks up no signal.

My primary monitor is plugged into the VGA port on my GPU and my secondary was plugged into the DVI port with a VGA to DVI adapter and this appears to be what doesnt work, even when i try plugging my main monitor into it but the two other monitors work in the VGA port.

A have tried alot of things setup wise none of which seem to work, and i have switched out my VGA lead (for the DVI) with two others and as i said above used 3 screens through it. so it may be possible that im not setting it up properly.
But a few people have also said it may be my GPU which is around 2yrs old possibly more (cant remeber the exact date i brought this pc) and that i may have to replace it.

I want to view my laptop display on a separate larger monitor. I connected my second monitor to the lap top, but the display when viewed in the larger screen is stretched and blurred, not as sharp as when viewing the same thing in the lap top screen. The resolution is set to the maximum possible option 1366 * 768. What can I do to make the display in the added monitor sharper?

Thanks!

A:Dual Display

Hello Tkanakar, welcome to the Seven Forums.

If you use two displays in duplicated mode the maximum resolution on both displays is the smaller of your two displays. For instance, if your laptop is capable to show 1360*768 and your secondary display 1920*1080, both displays can only use 1360*768.

In extended desktop mode you can set resolution independently on both displays, in this example case you could have 1360*768 on laptop display and 1920*1080 on secondary display.

I have tried running a dual display recently as I play EVE Online a lot and want to do other stuff while it is going. I know that the game is fairly graphic intensive but i would have thought that with the specs of my PC it would not cause a problem but as soon as I enable the second monitor everything just slows to a snails pace. The CPU runs at 100% in the task manager and as soon as I turn it off the game runs fine, and likewise, if I end the game the dual display runs fine.
Is it a case of I've got to live with it or buy a bigger PC? I really thought it this should be enough though???

Any advice would be highly appreciated!!!

Go into the Device Manager and then expand the Display Adapters heading.
What's the exact description of the graphics device(s) listed there?

It's my guess your laptop has 2 graphics devices:

Yes, I?ve noticed it too. I found out nVidia can use native HDMI-resolution only when a HDMI-display is used alone, don?t know about ATI or other adapters. As soon as I connect another display, duplicating desktop or extending it, resolution is dropped to 1680 * 1050.

I have a xp box that has a All In Wonder 9600. I was wondering if there was anyway to get dual display. When I bought my card it said dual display, but in actuality all that I have been able to get out of it was 2 monitors that displayed the same thing. I am looking for a dual display that will in effect make one long monitor by using 2 monitors. I want the monitors to display different things. Is this possible without buying extra equipment or what extra equipment would I need? Is there any way I could use the onboard video and the video card for the 2 different monitors? Any help is greatly appreciated.

A:Dual Display

I suggest that you review your documentation again. According to what I see online, you can configure the card to display the second monitor as an extension of the first.

Since I do not have the card or the documentation, I can not tell you specifically how to set it up.

Is there a way to have Dreamweaver MX startup with the tool windows (design, code, app & files) on my secondary monitor?
Photoshop starts up the way I close it down, but everytime I start DW the windows are in their default place.

Thanks,
JTN

A:DW-MX dual display

I looked and I didn't see anything that would enable dreamweaver to go back to the defaults. If you go to edit/preferences/panels you can pick and choose which panels you want to open and which ones you don't. Then in DW you can undock specific panels and redock with whatever group you want.

i have an on-board video driver, and a geforce2, and was wondering if i could get dual display to work. I have an sis chip-set 730s i believe. Any advice would be great thx.

A:Dual display

The GeForce2MX had dual display on many of the video boards it was on. You need to find out exactly what video card you have and whether it has dual VGA. One of the outputs is usually different and the board comes with an adapter for a second standard VGA monitor.

Download and install the free version of AIDA32: http://www.aida32.hu/aida-download.php?bit=32

Hello all,

I have been using my HTPC box mostly for DVR, Media Center, and a few games. It is connected to my 47" LCD TV, as the main and only monitor. I have decided to add a second, smaller 17" monitor to view system temps, and processor usage, and every day tasks that are difficult to see from the couch on the 47" LCD TV. I would like to use the 17" as the "main" monitor with desktop icons, task bar, etc. and the 47" to watch movies, Media Center, and the few games I play. I am able to drag MC to the 47" full screen, as well as Arcsoft Total Media Player, but when I launch a game, it is on the 17". I have tried switching "main monitor" to the 47" and dragging the task bar to the 17", but some apps have pop ups that appear on the 47". This dual monitor thing is new to me, but I know I will get more use of my box. I have tried searching the net, but you all know how that goes. Thanks for any help. I have system specs.

A:Dual display setup help

No replies? Maybe my question was too vague. I would like to use a 17" monitor with computer as normal, but have the 47" LCD TV display Media center, and have my games display there also. Thank you.

A:Dual Display Problem.

First, check the TV manufacturers website to see it there
is a driver download for the TV.
More than likely, you will need to set the resolution of the
on the PC to the native resolution of the TV.
Should be listed in the manual or on the website.
What type of connection are you using to connect the TV to
the computer?
What is the model of the TV?

I'm having a little problem with my DualView setup & I was wondering if someone could help.

Specs :

Win2K SP4
GF4 4200 64mb
nVidia Dets 44.03
LG 19" ( 1280*[email protected] ) & SONY 17" ( 1024*[email protected] )
The SONY screen is connected to a DVI-VGA gender changer on the DVI port & the LG on the VGA port (in case that could help ).

By default, you have the same background (wallpaper) for both screens. The nVidia drivers allow you to have different backgrounds, but when I enable that option, a portion of the left screen wallpaper crosses over on the right screen.

When you look at the windows display panel, I placed the screen N2 on the left ( because that's how it's set in reality on my desk ). If I place the screen N2 on the right in the windows display panel, the wallpapers are placed correctly.

Does anyone here have a similar setup ?

Greetings folks,

First time poster here and hoping I can get some quick insight into how to resolve this issue.

I currently run windows 7 on a dual 23 inch monitor system.
Each monitor has its own video port, not split between the cable.

Desktop is stretched across the screen, not mirrored.

Heres my issue:
At night, when I go to sleep, I turn off both my monitors, first the secondary one, then the first one. When I power them back on, I turn them on in the same order in the morning.

Every time, the icons I originally had on the second monitor, and placed back on the first monitor when I shut them down at night.

How in the world do i make windows stop reorganizing my icons! its driving me nuts!

I have an Nvidia 9600M GT on my laptop and driver 186.03

The problem is, there is no option in my Nvidia control panel to select whether I want the mouse to go to the external display via the left side of my screen or the right side. It always was on the right side, but suddenly its on the left.

Any ideas?

A:dual display problem

You need to re-order the monitor setup - drag-n-drop the monitors in the Screen resolution properties (right-click on the Desktop) so the proper monitor is on the left & right side.

I have an emachines M5405 that I am using for entertainment mostly.

I hooked up an external monitor that I extended the desktop onto.

The main monitor has now gone kaput.

I can boot and hit the Fn key to activate the external monitor but the external monitor does not have the task bar or any other option to let me reconfigure the displays.

I have a password setup to log onto windows for my username. I am thinking that the password screen is where I am stuck at, it's on the broken monitor, yet when I just type it in nothing seems to happen.

Does anyone know of the keystrokes I need to do to fix this?

I have the original restore dvd but I cannot seem to get the computer to boot from it.

I have tried hitting F8 to boot into safe mode but that doesn't seem to work either.

A:Laptop dual display

if you can see the bios setting in external monitor you can change the monitor display setting from bios.

settings might look something like this: "LCD>CRT" is one setting with "CRT>LCD" being it's other option; or it might look like "CRT/LCD" or it might say something like "Init display :" followed by LCD or CRT.... be sure you set it to CRT if you have an option.

Dual display Nightmare

Hey,

I plugged an old tv to my daughters computer (Dell inspiron (self contained comp in a screen) running windows 8) via a hdmi cord but couldn't get the computer to display on the tv (tv and cable are fine, it works great with my computer). I tried everything in the display settings and the last thing I tried which was a mistake is make the tv my primary and only display. Now the computer screen just glows and I can't get it to display anything. I was able to get into the set up utility by pressing F2 but that's it and there's nothing I can do there.

Your help will be greatly appreciated, I'm kind of going nuts here

Trying to uninstall the second monitor and video adapter, through Device manager. Have Ati 9600Pro, removed all Ati software except for drivers, and have installed the latest Catalyst drivers. Any ideas

A:Disabling dual display

I have the 9700 Pro, but I haven't used dual display (yet -- though I am here in a few weeks). I *think* one way you can do it is try going into Device Manager and disable the second display adapter. If you remove one or the other I believe it removes both seeing as how it installs adapters for two monitors even when you dont have two.

Doing a bit of guessing here, but give it a try and let me know if it works.

Hi, I have just got the M83 but I am unable to get the dual display working. I have one monitor plugged into the onboard slot and the other ino the Nvidia slot. I have tried changing the bios to the onboard card with multi monitors enabled but it still wont work. I have also tried to update the drivers for both cards but I am told that they are up to date. Both monitors work when the bios is set to the relevant card. Any suggestions?

A:M83 Dual Display Issue

I have the same issue. I've tried every combination of VGA/Display Port, updated drivers and BIOS. I've tried leaving the display set to auto in the BIOS as well as manually setting it to IDG with dual-monitor support enabled. I've verified that both monitors are functioning properly. I see that the last post on this was 7 months ago and received no response. Do Lenovo techs actually participate in these forums?

I've connected to my Ati Radeon HD 9650 graphics card two displays and this is the problem:

Display 1 (VGA) is connected to a Dual-link DVI-I port (port 5) with an VGA adapter. Everything works perfectly well.

Display 2 (TFT) is connected to a Single-link DVI-D port (port 1) directly with a DVI cable. This connection causes the problem:

When turning the power on both displays show the motherboard's logo and then the 'Starting Windows' animation. After that display 2 goes blank.
When opening BIOS (before Windows starts) both displays are showing the BIOS and not going blank (until when switched back to Windows).
How is this possible? First both displays are functioning normally and then not.

My Windows 7 and graphic card's Control Center both do not detect the second monitor --> there is no option in Display Menu for "Enable Extended Desktop" or something similar which would be the normal procedure (worked with my old Radeon 9800 & Win XP combination). The second display can not be detected/enabled automatically nor by manually forcing.
NB: and before you ask: no, there is no display port in motherboard. All display ports (2xDVI, 2xminiDisplay, 1xHDMI) are on graphics card.

A:Dual display problem

Hi Tahvo and welcome to Seven forums.
I have had a similar issue and I reversed the monitors. So take the output to the CRT VGA and swap it for the LCD and vice versa. One of the DVI connectors has sensing for what is connected and the other does not. Also verify you have the latest drivers and power off the machine when you swap over the connections so the computer is aware what happened. You should then see the options in Catalyst Control Center and in Windows Desktop Settings.

Hi,

I have a Acer Laptop with a GF9600M inside. I hook it up to a switch box to have my laptop displayed on a 21'' LG. I've been doing this for a while without any problem, until I updated my driver (nvidia 186.81). Along with this driver was a new display management software (i was using nView witht the old driver, I can't remember the name of the new one... PhysX?) This new software had limited option for dual display compare to the previous one I used. I was kind of working for a while, but last time I tried to switch display over my LG 21'', there was only 4:3 resolution available. I tried a few things going back and forth on both monitor with the switch box. The last configuration I had were the following.

LG 21'' widescreen monitor as main display (4:3 resolution only "detected" or available)
Laptop monitor : closed

I tried to reboot, but now I can't get any display on neither monitor. More, it seem like my laptor isn't booting at all. The lights usually flashing to show activity arent flashing at all. I tried booting with the laptop hooked on the switch box and the LG monitor and I also tried to boot just the laptop on its own. I can't get any display. neither on the laptop or the LG monitor.
