Solved: IE7 Freezes. LAN Settings freezes, but FireFox and Outlook work just fine

Q: Solved: IE7 Freezes. LAN Settings freezes, but FireFox and Outlook work just fine

I am running windows XP home edition SP 2, accessing internet via Road Runner. I upgraded Internet Explorer. It froze so I killed it and restarted again. It finished properly the second time, or so it seemed.

IE7 ran OK the first time. The 2ns time it froze on a blank window. No toolbars, no status bar, no nothing, just the frame and blank inside.

Other symptoms: Internet Options opens up OK from the control panel, and every tab seems OK, but when I go connections, LAN settings, the button shows depressed, and the thing freezes.

I can access the WWW without a problem via Firefox. Outlook sends and receives email without a hitch. But any program that checks internet options to see about proxy settings or similar, freezes. Example Intellicast and the Zinio reader. Example the setup program for Max Registry Cleaner and Registry Mechanic.

I ran a virus scan with AVG. The machine was clean. I cleaned up the registry with RegistryFix. There were a lot of lose ends, now it is clean. I ran AVG Anti Spyware. It has a residue of 45 tracking cookies, nothing else. I uninstalled Intellicast and the Zinio reader. Nothing made a difference.

Here is the log from Hijack This. I will be most thankful for your help in figuring out this one.

Preferred Solution: Solved: IE7 Freezes. LAN Settings freezes, but FireFox and Outlook work just fine

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

This is my kids' computer, we've had it almost one year. It used to work without any problems until about 3 months ago. Every minute or so, Lego Star Wars game freezes, will then unfreeze and work fine for another minute or so, somethimes it crashes completely. Usually after starting game, the screen will blank and the game minimizes itself, you can then maximize and it works fine. I've tried everything I can think of: uninstalled game, reinstalled game, virus scans, spyware scans, driver updates, defrag, disk clean, increased paging file size... If I'm using Radeon 9250 PCI, shouldn't the Intel 828656 Graphics Controller be disabled? Maybe one of the recent automatic updates changed the driver settings. Any advice?

I have the following:

XP 2002 Service Pack 2
eMachines T3995
Intel Celeron D8656VHZ
2.93 Ghz
496 MB
Intel 828656 Graphics Controller
Radeon 9250 Graphics PCI

I'll begin by saying how it happened:

My PC used to be filled with junk files and had some viruses that got through my anti-virus and couldn't be cleaned. One of my co-workers suggested I do a factory reset, and while I am an avid gamer, I don't really understand much when it comes to hardware, so I let the IT company I usually go to do the reset.

Prior to the factory reset, I had many games on my PC - Two of them were League of Legends, and the non-steam version of an MMORPG called Wakfu.

After the reset, I redownloaded these games, and once I opened the launchers for either of these two games, my PC screen froze.

A:Internet Explorer Freezes When Started & Firefox Freezes/crashes On Some Websites

Hello and welcome to BleepingComputer. One or more of the identified infections is a backdoor trojan. You have a very severely infected system -- likely because of the lack of antivirus & firewall software. This allows hackers to remotely control your computer, steal critical system information and download and execute files.I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.Though the trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. Please read these for more information:How Do I Handle Possible Identify Theft, Internet Fraud and CC Fraud? When Should I Format, How Should I ReinstallWe can clean this machine but I cannot guarantee it will be 100% secure afterwards. Recently, my internet connection has been freezing intermittently during normal activities. The screen and mouse freeze and the screen totally blacks out. On occasion, it completely shuts down and reboots itself, but other times I am able to restore the screen by clicking and moving the mouse. Upon trying to resolve this issue myself, I thought the problem was caused by a download from an addon through Firefox. I completely disabled it, but this has not solved the problem.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have been having a problem lately where I will be using Firefox looking at a web page (one site it happened on is https://thankyoucard.citi.com/compare/, when clicking the different + buttons to view details) and all of a sudden the browser will freeze. The cursor turns into a hand, I can still move the cursor around, but within 10 seconds my monitor goes black, says it's going to sleep, and my computer keeps running. My only solution is to manually reboot it (I don't like doing that). I'm not sure what is causing the problem or whether it is Firefox or Windows. I thought it was Firefox because that freezes but I can still move my cursor (which would lead me to believe Windows is still functioning), then my monitor goes to sleep (as if my computer is off). Maybe Firefox freezes and then my computer does the same shortly after which makes my monitor think the computer is effectively off and so the monitor goes to sleep?

I am running Windows XP SP3 and Firefox version 3.6.13. Any more information needed I'd be glad to provide, including an HTJ log if that would help. I appreciate any help.

UPDATE: I just tried the website I mentioned earlier, this time on Internet Explorer version 8.0.6001.18702, and I did not have the freezing problem. This leads me to believe that it is a Firefox specific problem. Also, my dad suggested that the AdBlockPlus add-on for Firefox might have something to do with it. I disabled ABP and encountered the same freezing issue reg... Read more

Hello All, I am facing this strange issue with my PC. Recently my PC just freezes for a moment and then it comes back to life. This happens when I am watching any video, playing a game. It never happened while I am online surfing (yet).

I did a fresh install of Win 7. Checked for virus, spyware and all other stuff.

Any suggestions?

I`ve tried everything from reinstalling, changing the version of FireFox and going to safe mode but it still freezes and hangs for me.
Sometimes it hangs for a few seconds and others for a few minutes, it happens constantly.

Any help would be most welcome because i don`t really want to change browsers.

I`ve done all the malware checks with MalwareBytes, SuperAntispyware and Bitdefender 2011 and it found nothing.

Hello All,

I just updated my version of Firefox this morning to version 3.6.14,
and, after the update, Firefox highly recommended to update my version of Flash as well. I updated it to Flash version, and, now, when I try to play a video on Youtube for example that uses flash, windows completely freezes, screen goes black and I have to do a hard-reboot.

I am running Windows XP Professional.

Any help is deeply appreciated!

Thank you!

Have you got an ATI or nvidia card? I know recent ATI drivers have caused problems with Flash videos, not sure about nvidia though.

Make sure you've got the latest graphics driver installed. Also, right-click the youtube video, select Settings and disable hardware acceleration, then refresh the page before playing.

Have you got SP3 installed for XP, and all critical MS updates?

I recently built a new computer and ever since I installed Windows XP the system completely freezes after 5-10 min. I tried taking out both sticks of ram ( not at the same time obviously) both DVD burners, both HD's, and my network card, assuming it was a hardware problem, nothing helped. I loaded Linux Ubuntu and it worked flawlessly, the only problem is I need windows to run Photoshop (a must have for my job). Any suggestions would be most helpful.

I know quite a lot taskbar-threads are around here but none of them seems to describe the problem I have.

I thought I had a Infection thats why I downloaded and installed spybot a few days ago. At the same time there was a windows update. After using the immunizing of spybot, I noticed 2 things:

1. longer shutdown time, aprox 1 minutes. (was like 15 seconds before(
2. Upon boot, the taskbar freezes like for 20 seconds, I can click and use Items on the desktop, but when the cursor is moved over the taskbar, it turns into the hourglass. At the same time, systray symbols/programms seem to have a problem loading: I'm using AVG Antivirus and it wont load correctly, I have to activate the guard manually when the freeze is over, and the sound-control (loudness) item doesn't appear in the systray anymore which it did before.

I uninstalled Spybot and undid the immunizing, which solved the problem with the slow shutdown, but the taskbarproblem remains.

I'm using a restricted account (user account) under WinXP for every-day use, and have a separate Administrator-account for maintenance purposes. My pc starts with the user account automatically (autologon). When I change to the administrator account (systray there, taskbar not freezing), everything is fine, but that's only after I started with the other account first.

I have tried
-System Restore
-Scanning with Microsoft Security Essentials
-Scanning with Malwarebytes
-Searching through the event logs for a specific problem
-Restarting numerous times

msconfig seems to be the place that will make it work. If I disable all the services and open up steam and chrome it doesn't freeze (but there is no sound, wifi, or brightness)

I have tried enabling the sound and wifi etc services but I think there are some services that need to be running.
I've tried playing around with the general tab and the boot tab in msconfig too but nothing happened.

Hi, I would like to start off by my PC's specifications, I have a HP Mini 210-3002SA notebook, originally it had a 250GB Hard drive and a 1GB RAM, Windows 7 Started OS, my previous hard drive got corrupt and stopped working so I purchased a new 1TB hard drive in which the windows 7 starter was installed by a technician and I had upgraded the RAM to a 2GB . My PC was working fine until recently it kept coming up with an error for a missing Conduit BackgroundContainer.DLL file every time I started the PC, so I downloaded auto run from Microsoft website and had deleted the missing DLL file and checked the PC for viruses and there was one virus from Bettersurf and my antivirus software removed it. I started my PC again and it starts up fine but it freezes when I open any applications, SafeMode will not let me run the antivirus with or without networking and I have no idea what's happening. I uninstalled recently downloaded programs which were MS Visual Basic and Team Viewer before deleting the entire conduit file using auto run. So please please please help me... I appreciate your efforts and your help ...

PS. Since the new hard drive had only the window 7 OS installed, I had installed all the necessary software drivers that originally came installed in the PC from the HP Website using a USB for transferring the drivers from one PC to another until Wi-Fi was enabled. It still was not like how it' was originally with the speakers making crackling sounds.... Read more

Hi have a PB SW51 laptop, AMD Turion 64, 2gb DDR2 ram.

It has been running windows 7 32bit fine for over a year now.

Foolishly I decided to give Win 7 64bit a try.

The installation went like clockwork until final reboot to start windows (after installation complete)

The splash screen displays, then freezes, then I get BSOD telling me my BIOS isn't ACPI compliant.

After Googling for info I read about removing a stick of ram, which I did, and hey presto it boots with no problems.

I've run memtest86 for 3 passes on each stick of ram with no errors.

I know that Win7 64bit is best with 4gb of ram but thought I'd give it a try anyway.

Now I really wish I hadn't as I decided to reinstall the 32bit edition and am now getting the same error
with that.

please help.

Don't know why I'm getting this error now. As when I first got the laptop, over a year ago, I installed Win7 32bit without problems and it ran sweet as a nut.

My OUtlook is freezing up a lot lately and this is new. Whenever I click on an internet link in the body of an email message - it freezes. If I wait about 3 minutes or more sometimes - it will finally go to explorer and open the link. If I don't wait and decide to just close outlook - I get a "not responding". When I "end program" I get a message from MS that says it is related to WIN Fax Pro.

PLease help this frustrated girl! I don't even know what Winfax Pro is!!

PS - I have Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2 Pentium 4...anything else you need. I can run Hyjack this if it helps...

A:Solved: Outlook freezes up whenever I click on link

You might have to change the registered file type:

1. Open My Computer.
2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the File Types tab.
3. In the Registered File Types list, click URL:HyperText Transfer Protocol, click Advanced, and then click Edit.
4. In the Actions box, type open.
5. In the Application used to perform action box, find to the location of Internet Explorer (Iexplore.exe), and then click Open.
6. In the Application box, type IExplore and then click OK.

That's assuming you're using Internet Explorer as your browser? If not, search for FireFox or whatever browser you prefer.

Let me know if that helps!

Hey, just added some more memory and a new gfx card to my computer and reinstalled windows xp, first of all heres my pc specs..

Intel C2D E8400 CPU @ Stock (3.00Ghz)
Asus P5K Motherboard
4GB OCZ Platinum (4x1GB)
8800GTS 512MB (Using 80.84 Beta drivers)
500W PSU

So after i formatted my hdd and reinstalled drivers and all my software rebooted, then i put my xbox 360 controller ran a benchmark on gta iv and then installed some new beta nvidia drivers and restarted, the pc didnt load any of the startup programs exept nvidia manager, i clicked the start menu and the pc froze i coulnt move the mouse, access task manager or anything else...

I rebooted and it kept doing the same thing, i thought it might be something todo with my 360 controller as i had used that in gta iv and i forgot to install the drivers, i removed it and tried again, same thing.

So this was last night and i reinstalled windows and all drivers over night, today i turn on my computer and after about 20 minutes, i was on the internet and clicked on some link and the computer froze jsut like last night, now its back to doing the same thing again (not loading startup programs, freezing when i right click and the keyboard doesnt work!

This is really pissing me off as the comp was fine before i upgraded it.

P.S: im thinking it could be something to do with the Beta nvidia drivers im using (there supposed to make gta iv run better, but who knows)

Thanks in advance, tech.

For some time now, my BIOS has stopped working. When i press delete to start the BIOS when i boot, it shows a static white line (no blinking). See this image: Imgur

However, if I do not try to get to the BIOS, the computer will boot and work fine, and has worked for over a year without problems.

I still feels it is a problem, and as I want to upgrade my Hard drive and OS soon, I'd like to fix this strange bug.

The bug first appeared after I installed two SSDs, wich worked fine at first, as i successfully configured the SSD, but while reinstalling windows it bugged at some point.

Things I tried:
Unplugging all HDD -> same problem
upgrading BIOS -> Cant since the update I got from MSI requires to go into the BIOS to update

System information:
MSI Dominator laptop
Driver page: Notebook - The best gaming notebook provider 64

Possible solutions:
Repair BIOS in some way? the functionality seems fine, I think only the displaying part has a problem.
Upgrading BIOS whithout actually going into the BIOS?

Thank you for your time, and if I didn't provide enough info please say so i'll try to fix it.

A:BIOS freezes on load, but computer boots fine

Repair BIOS in some way? the functionality seems fine, I think only the displaying part has a problem.
Upgrading BIOS whithout actually going into the BIOS?

Shut down and pull the power cord out of the Notebook/Laptop then remove the battery and wait a few minutes before trying again.
Remove the SSD and try to boot into the BIOS, see what happens. Worst thing would be a notice of no boot device.
Flashing the BIOS with the same or newer file will depend upon how it is done for your computer, whether it needs the software on a floppy disk, a CD, a USB Thumb/Flash drive or can be done from within Windows.

One way to reset the BIOS on a Desktop is to pull all the power, wait a minute then remove the CMOS battery, about the size of a quarter, put it all back and try again. A similar procedure can be used with a Notebook but much more difficult to get at it and requires some experience and patience.

I am new here, posting with an extremely inconvienient issue. I am running Windows Vista on an HP Pavillion dv6626 laptop. My issue is that Vista is constantly freezing upon startup, without any error message or indication whatsoever. It started once every week or so, then to everyday within 30 minutes of startup. Now, its within 5 minutes sometimes the desktop doesnt even load before the freeze. After the system freezes, I have to hold down the power button to shut off the machine.

There's a couple details that lead me to belive the issue is software related and not a hardware issue. First, when the system freezes, I can still move the cursor via the touchpad, 95% of the time. I just cannot select a window, toggle between screens, or get any keyboard functionality or any other response at all. Second, I can boot up in safe mode and have all the functionality as safe mode will allow with no issues. I can also startup in Diagnostic mode with no issue at all, but again, tasks are limited.

I have deleted countless files and uninstalled probably 60% of my programs including the most recently installed ones. I've updated windows, and cleaned temporary files, and I just received extensive assistance to solve a malware issue which I beleive to be fixed. (This issue began before I had a virus issue)

So.. I'm out of ideas. I'm posting this now in Safe Mode With Networking, and hoping for some help. Thanks in advance!

Hello there.
I'm looking for help. I've had some problems with my PC this month and I can't really make it work properly. It freezes/crashes/has a BSOD randomly, mostly a few minutes after it starts. It seems like it isn't caused by overheating since these errors appear independently of stress (one day I can play games for a few hours without a problem and the other day it crashes while browsing Internet).
At first, there were mostly BSODs and stuff, but it looked like it couldn’t save the memory dumps – there were no dumps seen in bluescreen viewer. Sometimes it just froze with the screen blurred and I had to restart it. After some of the crashes ‘cmos checksum bad error’ appeared while booting.
I reinstalled Windows and it seemed to be okay, but then there was a BSOD again. This is the only BSOD I can see in the bluescreen viewer. After the BSOD the bios clock was reset and I had to set it manually. I decided to clean the PC thoroughly, I even dismounted the graphical card to do it. After that, it looked like the problem was gone, but today it has crashed again. The screen went black and I couldn’t even turn it off using the power button. I had to switch it on a few times for it to run properly (before that there were only black screens and slow fans movement). When it finally turned on, there was 'cmos checksum bad error' again and it sounded weird. It was too quiet as if fans were running too slowly.
Finally, I waited a few hours and now ... Read more

This is my new system:

Core 2 Duo E6750
Asus P5N-D (nForce 750i)
2X2 GB Kingston KVR800D2N5K2/2G
Asus EN8800GT

It works perfectly in Vista x64, however in XP SP2 32-bit, as well as XP SP2 64-bit, the system freezes randomly (often with graphical corruption in the last frame(s)) despite the fact that I've installed the latest BIOS from ASus, latest drivers from Nvidia, and all available XP updates from Microsoft. These freezes started occuring right after I installed Windows XP, without any other drivers or outside programs present.

I should also mention both XP versions run fine (well, they don't lock up) while in safe mode.

Does anybody have any idea what the problem is?

A:Vista runs fine, XP freezes (and locks up) randomly

sometimes this problem is due to conflict of drivers(hardware, software)or programms
and rarely to malware
in your case, as you said they work fine in safe mode,
ok, then we can suppose that either program or service would cause this
if that's right, try to disable one after one by doing this:
start ==> run ==>type "msconfig" without quotes
choose (selective startup) option and try to unckeck one by one and restart to see
for now, I have no other solution.....when I get anything new, I'll tell you

are your versions unattended?? I mean aren't they original, downloaded from microsoft or not?
and you are using Professional or Home Edition Version?

I have an older laptop that is running Windows XP.  This is not my main computer but I do like to use it when I do not want to use tablet or desktop.  It virtually will not browse internet in regular windows mode.  It freezes and takes forever to go from one internet site to another.  However, the internet works fine when in safe mode.  I have Malware Anti Malware Free and AVG 2015 Free.  I have run scans in both safe mode and windows mode and it does not detect anything.  I also have CC Cleaner which I run frequently.  I have downloaded Autoruns and tried to delete some startup loads using your data base.  However, many are not in your data base.  I did find some that I could eliminate on startup but not that many because if it was not in your database, I left alone.  Do you have any other suggestions I could try.  As I said, this laptop is older and not my main computer but I would really like to try and revive it so that I can at least use it sometimes.

If a client comes to me not only now but, for quite a while now, I will not let them spend time, money, effort or thought on an XP machine.  For starters they absolutely should not be used connected to the Internet.
Certainly @ this point in time, if an XP machine is not working properly, just don't bother w/ it... can't be used on the Net, anyway.  As for non-Net use, still, not worth bothering w/ it.  Time to just let it go & move on.  After 15 yrs, put it out to pasture.

Only until I am aable to reboot in safe mode is when I can get anything to work, however this slows my computers speed and ablities very much. Everytime I try to boot up normally the same thing happens, ethier windows comes up for a few seconds before freezing or gets caught on the loading screen. Does anyone have any ideas on what I can try to fix this? Thank you very much in advance, help would be very appericated!!!!
Edit; Probelm Sloved, Thanks!

I'm not a Windows whiz by any means, but I'm usually able to solve the problems I run into on my machines. This one's got me stumped:

I leave my Sony Vaio VGN-FW290J, running Windows 7 SP1, running one night while I go out for some errands. On my return, the thing has crashed pretty bad (I-can't-even-move-the-mouse bad). Whatever. I do a hard restart of the computer, decline safe mode, and the thing starts up just fine. Well, it was pretty slow, actually. Windows freezes up on me within two minutes (it's still loading up startup programs during that time). I entered into a cycle of startup, hard restart, startup, hard restart, ... until I was convinced of the permanence of the issue.

I became unhappy then, since I knew something was wrong, and this computer hadn't had a real problem in about 4 years of usage.

My first thought was to do a virus scan, so I booted into safe mode and started Avast to get cracking. Two "threats" were found in a full scan: both were very old files. I removed them and I still had the same problem.

I then deactivated every single startup program except the ones I thought were absolutely necessary. No beans. I currently have these set to autostart:
Alps pointing-device driver (Tracker Pad)
HD Audio Control panel (Audio Card)
Realtek Voice Manager (Audio Card)
Microsoft Windows Operating System
ISB Utility (Battery Utility)
Catalyst Control Center (Video Card)
I'm not really sure what to do. I haven't been able to localize the crashing to... Read more

A:Windows 7 freezes up soon after startup - works fine in safe mode

If it works fine in Safe Mode and its not related to hardware, I would assume that you have an application that loading at startup that is causing you some problems. So why dont you use msconfig to scale back all the startups and then add them back to see which is causeing the problem

I'm running 64bit Windows 7 on an Acer Aspire 5742G-6846 (specs posted below). As the title suggests, when I turn on my computer, it will start, login, but then it freezes. I can access everything fine in safe mode. I have already tried turning everything off at start up, uninstalling Rainmeter (which was giving me issues earlier), running ccleaner and malwarebytes. I'm not sure what else I can do short of reinstalling Windows. Any suggestions? Hijackthis log is posted under the laptop specs. Thanks so much.

Have you used the Registry Cleaner in CCleaner?

If you have, you should check this out.

Quote from Phantom010

You should avoid Registry Cleaners, Boosters, Optimizers, TuneUp Utilities... This type of software will do a lot more harm than good, and should only be used by advanced users who really know their way around the registry. Never to be used blindly on "Auto" mode. Most members coming here with WEIRD symptoms had their computer messed up by malware and/or registry cleaners. These utilities do not only remove what "they think" are orphan entries in the registry but legitimate files still in use will be deleted in the process, crippling some programs and Windows applications beyond repair. In a word, it's a scam.

Keep in mind that they will always find "errors" to fix, even on a fresh Windows install! In itself, this should be enough to convince non-believers...

There was a Windows Update a few days ago and ever since the update my computer has been  freezing shortly after the desktop menu appears.  In the few moments, after the desktop appears I can still click on items and even launch programs but after all the start up items have been loaded, the mouse pointer still works but the mouse buttons and the keyboard do not register any actions and any programs that I might have been able to open become frozen.  The hard drive light also flashes on and off in regular 2-3 second interval when this occurs.
I tried unchecking all non Windows processes in MSConfig and that appeared to fix things at first but after running for about 5 minutes or so the compter freezes up again.  I ran sfc scannow and I recevied a message saying somthing like
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log %WinDir%\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.
I'm not sure if this is a virus/malware or if the WIndows update somehow corrupted some files and the computer works fine in Safe Mode.
Any help on fixing this would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

Running Windows 8.1. Have admittedly modified it quite heavily but perhaps someone could point me to the root of what I have screwed up.

Pretty much, any apps which have the purple wheel splash screen do not load (presumably crash). Normal windows settings work fine. Windows applications and Metro apps works with no hitches (I have none downloaded but default Music, Games all start with no issues).

Much appreciate any suggestions.

Modified what? Using what? 3rd party software? Is your copy of windows a registered version? Can you recall when it stopped working properly? Have you tried restoring to an earlier state?

Could you give us more information?

I'm running Windows XP, Service Pack 3, 2002 version, Internet Explorer 8. Whenever I try and run Internet Explorer, it says that it can't display the page, for whatever reason, suggesting I diagnose connection problems. I've uninstalled all the toolbars I can find, but that doesn't help a bit. Yet I can properly browse the internet perfectly fine with Firefox 3.5.

It's worth noting two things: I recently had a virus infect the computer, posing as antispyware, which I had to wrestle with for an entire morning before Spybot S&D got rid of it. The second is that the MSHTML.DLL (when i use the command regsvr32 mshtml.dll in the Run window) "loads, but the DLLRegisterServer entry point was not found. This file can not be registered."

Is there anything I can do about this? Any more information you might need?

A:IE8 won't work, but Firefox works fine

I actually fixed the problem myself:

I went to 'Internet Options' -> 'Connections' -> 'LAN Settings' -> and unchecked the proxy server option. Worked like a charm. (however, I think this is only for some types of internet connections. As in, it might not work for everyone, but probly will)
