I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi. I have had this problem for many months now and have tried to remove the infection manually using instructions found on ehow, using Norton Antivirus, malwarebytes and spybot search and destroy. Nothing has been successful at removing it. I have just been using my laptop instead of my desktop because I don't want to use an infected computer. The computer is running Windows XP Professional SP3. I receive notifications from Norton that an intrusion attempt has been blocked. When I go into the log, I found that there were three high risk log entries, one for HTTP Tide Serv Request2, one for HTTP CrimePack Activity 1, and one for HTTP Nukesploit Request. As I mentioned this has been going on for months now. At the beginning it was mostly just HTTP Tide Serv Request2, the other two are new today. I'm hoping you can help me, otherwise I'm going to have to reinstall Windows, which I'd like to avoid doing. I hope I have included enough background. My scans are below and attached. Your help is greatly appreciated!

One time while visiting one of my favorite forum site , I forgot my password while I was in the middle of logging in.
So I click on the "forgot your password" button. then checked my e-mail for the new password. When I logged in again using the new password provided to me by the webpage master, but still I got an error massage of wrong password.
I repeat the whole process for three tries but failed. Until the 4th attempt an error page from my browser that reads
"The website decline to show this page ___________HTTP 403". Until now I get the same message every time I click the website.

What does this error mean? How can I correct this? What should I do?

Hi baronmunchausen196,The 403 error is equivalent to a blanket 'NO' by your Web server - with no further discussion allowed.Changing your password may have been a factor in this. See if clearing your cache helps.

If it is one thing than you can't because you are not authorized to access it. You can't get around that. It is the website's security.

My computer has recently started to display "HTTP 403 Forbidden Error" followed by "the website declined to show this web page" when I try to load certain web pages. In addition, Zone Alarm has been giving frequent error messages that a web page is trying to access one of my "protected" pieces of information (my pin number).

I have attempted to follow the five steps that are recommended prior to posting, but have been mostly unsuccessfull. I was unable to run the Panda online scan as nothing happened when I clicked the scan now. I made sure that my google and zone alarm pop-up blockers where off. I was able to install Spyware blaster but was unable to install IE-spyad. When I followed the download link I again received the "HTTP 403 forbidden error". I completed step 4 as I am running Windows XP with SP2. Unfortunately I cannot download or install Deckards System Scanner because when I click on the link I again get the "HTTP 403 forbidden error".

Please help. Thanks very much in advance.

Are you still having this problem? If so, that error usually pops up if the Web site you requested requires special access permission (for example, a password). As it happens on the other pc, did you have to log on on that one before?

Also, is it a re-directed address? What I mean is, is it like:

if so, what happens if you just went to www.website.com and then pressed on the members link. Obviously your web page will be totally different, its just an easy way to explain what I mean

Gerry, welcome to TSF.

I've removed your email address from your post as I assume you don't want it getting into the wrong hands?

Try this. From IE go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections tab > LAN Settings.
Make sure that "Auto detect my settings" is checked.

If you don't use a proxy or vpn make sure no other boxes in this page are checked. Apply and OK your way back out. Does this help?

Does this help? I'd be curious because I had a customer just the other day that had 403 Forbidden messages on every page and was because her ISP settings were incorrect. "Auto detect" solved the problem.

My friend is trying to access a particular website (youconvertit.com) but gets HTTP 403 errors (access forbidden) whenever he does. Other web activity is fine.

1. When I take MY laptop round to his house, I can connect to the site no problem.
2. When we take HIS laptop to another neighbour's, he gets the same 403 message.
3. MY laptop is still connecting OK.

This suggests some W7 setting / firewall issue etc etc on my friend's laptop.

Any hints?

Browser is IE9
Proxy server is unticked in Internet Options.

A:HTTP 403 forbidden message on one (W7) laptop only

2. Install an alternative browser to see if the problem appears with that

Hello all,

I have a problem with Windows Update agent on Windows 7 SP1 enterprise.
We are using Configuration Manager 1606 and Windows 7 SP1 and about 140 computers works without any problem.
On the other 10 computers I got the following error message in the windowsupdate.log:
WARNING: SyncUpdates failure, error = 0x8024400D, soap client error = 7, soap error code = 300, HTTP status code = 200
WARNING: SOAP Fault: 0x00012c
WARNING:     faultstring:Fault occurred
WARNING:     ErrorCode:InvalidParameters(7)

I've tried several actions although none does any help. Here is the list of actions:
- upgrade windows update agent to the latest version
- windows update agent reset by this instructions https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/971058/how-do-i-reset-windows-update-components
- empty Temporary Internet files
- check the rules and blocked traffic on windows firewall and physical firewall between server and workstation vlan
- sfc /scannow

It looks like significant Windows 7 error, although reinstalling is not my option.

Thanks for any help!

On my main PC (XP / SP3) Sony Vaio / Intel Pentium 1.7ghz 1gb ram, I am getting the above error on attempting to access several secure sites when using firefox (ver 3.5.5.) This example appears as soon as I attempt to open www.neteller.com. The errors are included below.

I have no problems accessing this site through IE. I also use a netbook on occasion, with a similar set up (obviously not the same, otherwise this wouldn't be happening, I guess!) but the netbook is able to access the site using both firefox and IE.

Any ideas? I have searched high and low but most of the websites state that it is not a problem with my pc but the server end. Not really helpful in identifying why pc no.1 can't access it but pc no.2 can..Happy to provide whatever you need to help me to resolve this really annoying issue.

Well at first glance, it looks like you may be having a problem with your Java software. Have you tried to download and reinstall or upgrade your existing installation to see if that clears it up? That would be a good place start. Please post your results.

Welcome to TSF

My name is Billy O'Neal and I will be helping you. (Billy or Bill is fine, if you like.)
Please give me some time to look over your computer's log(s).
Please take note of the following:In the meantime, please refrain from making any changes to your computer.
Also, even if things appear to be running better, there is no guarantee that everything is finished. Please continue to check this forum post in order to ensure we get your system completely clean. We do not want to clean you part-way up, only to have the system re-infect itself. :)
If you do not understand any step(s) provided, please do not hesitate to ask before continuing. I would much rather clarify instructions or explain them differently than have something important broken.
Finally, please reply using the button in the lower left hand corner of your screen.

If you wish to know how the Internet is restricted by governments, the new 451 protocol will tell you.

Governments will not always be able to disguise which content they restrict across the Web thanks to a new error code which will warn users of content restricted through censorship.

On Friday, the group responsible for Internet standards, the Internet Engineering Steering Group (IESG), approved a new HTTP code to differentiate between Web pages which cannot be shown for technical reasons and others which are unavailable for non-technical reasons, such as governmental censorship.

Status codes, available within the 100s to 500s, are most commonly encountered when something goes wrong -- such as a server downtime, for example, which prevents a user from accessing a Web page. The common 404 error tells users a page has not been found, but now 451 is coming into its own as a way to track other restrictions.

Online censorship is on the rise. Governments in the European bloc force ISPs to restrict access to websites linking to pirated content, China has its ever-famous "Great Firewall" which heavily restricts the Web, and countries including Russia and South Korea are also cracking down on access.

It isn't always easy to work out whether a Web page is down because of technical reasons or governmental meddling. However, a new Internet protocol could change that.

Due to the high volume of logs we receive it helps to receive everything in the same format, and code boxes make the logs very difficult to read. Hello guys,I've gotten numerous alerts from Norton telling me that I have attempted intrusions from HTTP Suspicious Executable Image Download, HTTP Tidserv Request & HTTPS Tidserv Request 2. GreetingsOne or more of the identified infections is a Backdoor Trojan. This could allow hackers to remotely control your computer, steal critical system information and download and execute files.I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.Though the trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC could be compromised and there is no way to be sure that your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. Please read these for more information:How Do I Handle Possible Identify Theft, Internet Fraud and CC Fraud? When Should I Format, How Should I ReinstallWe can still clean this machine but I can't guarantee that it will be 100% secure afterwards. Hello,On July 18th, as I was watching a streaming TV show, my computer apparently picked up Antimalware Doctor, which kept telling me that my computer was infected and that I needed to pay them money to get rid of all these infections. I managed to get rid of that with MalwareBytes. Shortly after though, my Norton Antivirus started regularly informing me (every 20 minutes to half hour) that it had blocked an intrusion attempt from either HTTP Tidserv Request (most common) or HTTPS Tidserv Request 2 (2nd most), and every once in a while some oddball like HTTP Fake Scan Webpage 5 or some Trojan (Vundo or Ad.Clicker). It seems like it's always been blocked, but as these Norton alerts keep coming, even when I don't have a browser open, I am upset and concerned. Also seems as if the attacks are coming from several different computers.I tried running Malwarebytes a few more times. It usually leaves me with 8 or so pieces of malware, identified as Rootkit or Trojan agents, which it tells me will be deleted upon reboot. However, after I reboot and run Malwarebytes immediately thereafter, there are still 8 pieces of Malware. I tried updating my Norton and running a scan, but that didn't fix the problem. I also ran Norman Malware Cleaner, with no real results.Again, though the alerts always classify the threat level as high, it seems like they are being blocked. I haven't entered any passwords into my computer since this came up, and I never save any on a regu... Read more

I was hoping I wouldn't have to resort to this, but I guess I've no other choice. I've looked up this thing and from what it sounds like, I'm in deep. Like an abyss. This whole fiasco started about a week ago when my parents found a charge from McAfee on their card. None of us ever purchased anything, and called McAfee and had them remove the charge which (according to my Dad), simply removed the LiveUpdate thing McAfee had.Not long after that, Google Chrome started acting weird and some program called "pbupdate.exe" had to be closed. My computer subsequently froze and I had to manually shut down.I rebooted my computer only to find that Chrome had been completely fried and would not load any web pages at all. Resorting to Firefox, I Googled "pbupdate.exe" and clicked the first link, allowing "Top PC Defender" onto my computer (and maybe some other things). As such, I ran Malwarebytes, SUPERAntiSpyware, McAfee, AVG, and Spybot to rid myself of the problem. When this yielded no results, I ended up using System Restore which seemed to get rid of the problem. Not long after, we switched over to Norton due to Comcast preparing a move, and uninstalled McAfee. Norton ended up having to uninstall AVG in order for it to install. And ever since then I've had these messages popping up repeatedly on my computer from Norton, telling me an attack was blocked but not allowing any action to be taken. The fact that I'm still getting these mess... Read more
