PCI dose not seam to detect my graphics card after NETFRAME 4.0 Update

Q: PCI dose not seam to detect my graphics card after NETFRAME 4.0 Update

Hello. I'm really new to this thread, and this just happened 18 hours prior to this post. I had to reboot my Windows XP (32 bit) After i downloaded NETFRAME 4.0. When i did, my pc hummed to life, but my monitor (A E19T6W) registered that my GTS 250 1024 MB Card was not reading. I check multipul times, looking at the graphics card as it runs. The fan works like it normaly does, but the display is not working. I am now running on my intergrated motherboard (Asus A8N-LA) Which is a Nvidia GeForce 6150 LE, and i do not know what to do. I tried removing the mobo battery for 5 minutes to reset the board, nothing. Ive tried to reinstall my drivers, That does not work. I Removed NETFRAME 4.0. That dose not even seam to help any. I do not hope it is a bad PCI slot, (had the motherboard for 3 years) but are there any suggestions available? Anything would be nice.

My specs are

System Manufacturer/Model Number: Compaq sr1901wm
OS: Windows XP 32 Bit
CPU: AMD X64 3600+ DUO
Motherboard: Asus A8N-LA
Memory: 1.75GB DDR

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Anyway you can test your card? I had a 9800gt die after I updated drivers for it and sent it back.

Hello,
I have an alienware laptop with an nvidia 335m gt graphics card and it works perfectly for about a week. Then after an update, it can't be detected. This is the second time this has happened, the first time I just reformatted and it was back. Now after about the same amount of updates, it's not being detected again and the system reverts to one called "dell chipset family". The nvidia geforce program is still installed, however when I run it, it can't find the graphics card either. Please help lol I don't want to have to reformat every week because I'm not savvy enough to figure out what the problem is.

Thank you
Ricky

A:Cannot detect my nvidia 335m gt graphics card after update

You should not be installing this update.

Download the video drivers directly from Dell.

Uninstall any video drivers you have now.

Install the drivers you downloaded from Dell.

It will now be fixed.

Laptops are different, you need the driver from Dell and do not let windows update it.

Make sure windows is set to let you know about updates, but let you decide whether to install them, do not install any video drivers using windows update.

Hi!

Yesterday I bought myself a new graphics card: Radeon HD7870.
I've plugged it into my motherboard: MCP73VT-PM but the thing is that I don't receive any signal from it when I connect the vga cable into it, tried with hdmi cable aswell...
Also bought a new PSU 550V to make it match the requirements..

Can it be that the onboard vga graphics collides with the new card? If so... could anyone help me out? I've tried almost everything, spent the whole day trying to get it to work.

My BIOS settings doesnt support editing the onboard stuff.

Thanks in advance

Hello dear community, I've just formatted my notebook again and installed Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. The problem is that system is unable to detect my graphics card - Radeon HD 7600M, which was working fine before. Device manager is showing it as a standard VGA graphics card. My notebook is also using Intel HD graphics 4000 and it's working fine after manually instaling required drivers. When I am trying to install drivers for Radeon, two things are happening: - setup manager returns error message that installation process failed(I've even tried to edit "InstallManager.cfg" file and change "WorkaroundInstall=false" to true, setup manager installed everything(AMD catalyst, etc.), just not the driver - as soon as setup manager is trying to detect my graphics card, blue screen appears and notebook is rebooting It is pretty random which one of the above things will happen. I've tried installing few different drivers and nothing changed. I've also tried(in the device manager) to manually choose the location with the driver - Windows tells me that system knows it's the Radeon HD 7600M device, but cannot install the drivers. During the format, I deleted ALL partitions and created new ones. I remember that there was a small partition(which I left untouched during the earlier notebook format), but this time I deleted it too. Maybe this partition had some important HP data which is causing this problem now? I am also attaching a screenshot of my device... Read more

Hi: I think that HP has the wrong switchable graphics driver listed on your notebook's support page. See if this W7 AMD/Intel graphics driver works. You must only install the AMD graphics driver, which installs the drivers for both the Intel and AMD GPU's. This package provides the AMD High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver and Catalyst Control Center for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. For notebooks with switchable graphics modes, this package includes drivers for both graphics processing units (GPUs). Switchable graphics enable users to switch between a power-saving graphics mode (normally used under battery power) and a high-performance graphics mode. If high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) video output is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver. http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58501-59000/sp58894.exe I don't understand the language shown in your screen shot. Can you translate to English what the other two devices that need drivers are? I'll take a guess and say that the PCI Device needs this driver... This package contains the driver that enables the Realtek Card Reader in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. The card reader enables users to read from or write to supported removable storage cards, which are typically used in digital cameras, digital music players, and cellular phones. http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp61501-... Hello,

I recently updated the drivers for my video card, NVIDIA's discrete GeForce GT 335M, and afterwards I was unable to get my monitor to display anything. My laptop screen is broken so I use a standalone monitor with VGA cables for my display. So after this I tried the obvious troubleshooting, using my fn key to switch between displays and holding the windows key + P to pick the projector option, both to no avail. I then started windows in safe mode and rolled back the most recent driver update for the video card. Since then my laptop does not detect the video card, like it is gone. I still have the updates installed, NVIDIA Control Panel still exist but says no card is detected.

Also I can not get BIOS to run on boot, possibly because my monitor won't display anything until it gets to the windows home screen.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks,

Shawn

Hello
I uninstalled my nvidia graphics card via device manager because I was having annoying freezes and nothing I tried fixed it. But when I restarted windows, the graphics cards didn't appear any more and I couldn't install the drivers back. Since it's a laptop I can't just unplug it and plug it in again. How do I get it back?

A:Uninstalled graphics card. Windows cannot detect it now

Do not try to install it through Device Manager.

I just did mine less than an hour ago. So maybe this will help.

After reboot W7 will load but have poor resolution. Go to where the Nvidia driver is downloaded (mine was in the Download folder) double click the Nvidia driver download and follow the prompts to install.

It may show it did not install the driver but don't worry just reboot when it is finished installing or says it didn't install properly.
That is what mine did and after a reboot all was installed properly.

Also after reboot the Monitor will show in Device Manager.

I have a Lenovo G400 laptop with intel i5 3230m , Windows 8.1 and Switchable Graphics(Intel HD 4000 and AMD Radeon HD 8750m). Recently this morning i kept my laptop for an download and went away from it for a while.Later when i returned i saw that my laptop was on lock screen. I unlocked it to see for the download and it said that could not detect hardware or hardware drivers for my AMD Graphics card. Later i saw it could not even detect my intel graphics card. I managed to download and install intel graphics card and it could detect it but when i tried to install amd grahpics drivers it failed.
It cant even detect the AMD Graphics Card.I tried a system restore and it didnt work. According to me it was due to an windows update recently(so i did a system restore).

Hello, I've been having this problem 2 days ago and it's a bit frustrating. I was just playing some games when it suddenly restarted automatically. My device manager doesn't seem to acknowledge my graphics card anymore for some apparent reason. I've tried plugging my monitor in my graphics card and it just seems like on a standby mode with the blank screen showing nothing. But when I plug my monitor to my motherboard port it shows up fine and is in the device manager. I've tried cleaning my drivers with "Driver Sweeper" then reinstalling the lastest driver for my graphics card, but that didn't do anything. I was hoping if anyone knows what's wrong with my graphics card . Thank you.

Is my graphics card burnt/broken?

OK first of all there are no drivers for Windows 7 supporting you card. Your card is not even supported by Windows Vista as support has been removed, therefore, the reason for the problems you have been experiencing is a driver issue not the card itself. You cannot use 6.5 drivers on you card, the reason why you are getting these blank screens and dropping out of games is because of the drivers.

Not the news you peobably wanted to here but an upgrade is needed the drivers which would have been used would have been Catalyst 9.3.

First, my specs:

OS: Windows Vista
2.3ghz Intel Celeron
2 gigs of RAM
250gb HDD
GFXCard trying to install: Geforce FX 5200

Alright, so this is a simple question, shouldn't be difficult to answer!
I've read that sometimes you don't have to disable the Onboard Graphics in the BIOS when putting in the gfxcard. So, I stuck it in without disabling in hopes that I didn't have to. Well, the monitor won't turn on, so I just have to pull it back out of the processor. The weird thing is, it won't even turn on if I have the monitor plugged into the onboard gfx slot. It won't until I completely remove the GForce FX. So, I went into the BIOS and saw that the Primary is selected as PCI and not Onboard, even though I use chipset. Could that be why the monitor is getting confused?

But here's my main question, before I get started in all this: if I choose the Primary Video in BIOS as PCI-E, would I still be able to see the monitor once it turns back on? In other words, would I be able to change the bios back if the gfxcard don't work? Will the onboard video work regardless of what's chosen in the BIOS menu?

Would appreciate ANY help! Thanks in advance!

EDIT: oh, and hey does the GeForce FX 5200 support 1440x900 resolution? Could that be the problem it's not detecting it?

Hi,
(sorry, but this needs a bit of background)

I've been using a custom PC since June, picked the parts, got it put together in a shop. Recently, I've been having occasional BSODs and a message that says "PFN_LIST_CORRUPT". After the latest BSOD and reboot, my PC couldn't detect the GTX560 graphics card (from Palit) in device manager. Under display adapters it shows "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" instead of the gtx560.

I tried to update the driver with the latest download from Nvidia (version 280.26), but when I try to it informs me "This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". I've reinstalled windows 7 and the drivers for Ethernet, motherboard, chipset, etc., but I've still got the same problem when trying to install the graphics driver.

When I open the "Properties" window of the "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter" in device manager, under details->hardware ids the following information is shown:
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1209&SUBSYS_00000000&REV_A1
PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_1209&SUBSYS_00000000

A:[Help] Can't detect graphics card or install drivers

Hello syalam. Welcome to the Forum.

Have you made any changes or added any new hardware to your system around the time this error began to appear?

That VEN is nVidia, but the DEV is a Fast Ethernet Controller.
It could be that Windows has mixed up the registry folder for the device, or the plug and play feature in the video cards firmware could be corrupted, or there is another corruption in the system.

You can try reinstalling the video card clean:
Be sure you have the most current known good driver downloaded.
Create a System Restore Point.

Now go into Windows Explorer and in the C: drive find the nVidia folder (inside will be Drivers > your driver version) and delete it (the whole folder).
Go into Start > Control Panel > Remove a Program and uninstall all programs for the video card. Do PhysX and Stereoscopic 3D first, then the driver. The control panel will uninstall with the driver.

Shut down computer, wait 30 seconds, and then boot the computer.
When it reaches the desktop Windows will find new hardware and will install it's own WDDM1.1 driver. Let it. You will be asked to restart. Do it.
Once back on the desktop you can now install the nVidia driver package for your card.
Try that and see if it works. That PFN_LIST_CORRUPT error can be caused by other bad drivers too, and by bad RAM. But lets check that video card installation first.

A:graphics card doesnt detect monitor correctly

I don't know how this happened to you, but the picture is very typical for a desktop that's set to use only 16 colors.

Nowadays, videocards can render millions of colors with a 24-bit or 32-bit depth, this is called "True Color." Many moons ago, you had to make do with about 65 thousand colors (16-bit depth or "High Color"), and earlier still you only had 16 colors or 256 colors (8-bit depth) available.
Using such limited color palettes resulted in images such as the one you have on your screen now.

You should be able to go into your advanced videocard settings and change the color depth, but it would be extremely unusual for a modern nVidia card to offer only 16/256 colors. Still, can you check and see which color depths are actually available?

And what graphics card or GPU did you have before adding this card?

Do you have the monitor connected to the new graphics card or do you by chance still have it connected to the integrated graphics that many computer have? It needs to be connected to the new card before turning the computer on.

Have you made sure the card is seated fully in the slot?

You do need to go into BIOS and disable the onboard video card in order for one plugged into a PCI slot to work. That is most likely your problem.

There are diagnostic cards that you can plug in to test your motherboard such as the one at this site:

http://www.pc-diagnostics.com/pc_diagnostics_tools/flippost_isa_pci_bus.shtml

You also might call nearby computer stores to see if they have the equipment there and will run the diagnostic for you if you bring in your motherboard.

So this is a strange issue that I don't think many people will even quite know what to say...
First I should say that I'm not that tech savvy, and I'm not much of the forum person, so if I've put this thread in the wrong place then I'm sorry. I'll try and give you as much information about my specs as possible:

Case: iBuyPower Revolt
Motherboard: AsRock B75M-ITX
Processor: Intel i3-3220 @ 3.30 GHz
Hard Drive: WD Blue 500 GB
Memory: 2 x 4 GB RAM
OS: Windows 8.1
Graphics Card: Geforce GTX 750 Ti
Power Supplies: 350W and 250W
And some DVD drive.

Right, so as you can see, my situation is a little complicated, as I have TWO power supplies. That story's even more complicated, but it doesn't matter so much, all that matters is that those two power supplies are what I have to work with. The 350W supply (which is the supply that I bought later on) is powering everything in my computer EXCEPT the graphics card. Then the 250W power supply (came stock with my computer) is powering the graphics card exclusively. Or at least, that's what's supposed to happen.

So I bought this graphics card about 6 months ago, and realized that I'd need more power for it. So I ordered a more powerful psu. When I realized the 350W psu didn't have the 6-pin pci-e power connector I needed, I realized that I'd have to use the paperclip method to power my graphics card with the 250W power supply instead. I sat the 250W psu outside my rig, powering the graphics card inside my computer ever since. Until about a... Read more

SO

After staring at my computer for an hour, and trying multiple random internet chats to no avail, I stared at my UEFI settings for a little bit longer and started messing around with some of the settings.

I found one particular setting that said: "PCIE1 Link Speed," which was set to "Automatic".
Since I didn't know what this meant, I didn't mess with it the first time I saw it; also, I figured since it was set to Automatic, it would automatically choose the best setting for me.
But, this was not the case. Because, as my desperation for high-quality game performance continued, I grew more daring and started changing around different settings to see what (if anything) would happen. So I changed the link speed from "Automatic" to "Gen1". There was also "Gen2" and "Gen3", but by luck of the draw, I chose "Gen1." When I saved and exited UEFI, everything worked beautifully just as it always has for the past 6 months.

I still don't know exactly what this means, or why it changed from the correct setting to "Automatic" but I'm just glad it works now. If anyone may have an explanation for why this works or what this means, I'm all ears, but I am currently able to game again at high quality, and that's all that matters.

Curiously, the other settings, "Gen2" and "Gen3" don't work; they don't even let the computer recognize the onboard graphics, and I had to reset my CMOS.

I just installed windows 7 professional last night and when trying to personalize my theme, i realized that i couldn't change window color. It only gave me the contrast themes unlike in vista where i could choose the color and it would still look like vista. I'm not sure if that last sentence made much sense, but i hope you get the idea. I can still use the desktop backgrounds and sounds, but not the aero window colors.

Hi,
I have my new PC for a 4 months, everything worked perfect till one morning I turned it on, and the monitor (SAMSUNG) tried to detect the graphic card (ASUS R9 290) without any success and turned to sleep mode. The monitor works without problems with another PC or Laptop. I connected the VGA card to my tv LG, and it works without problems, after when I connected it back to my monitor, it works, but not stable, in the screen resolution properties it doesn't recognize the monitor, it's going in safe mode for any entering to game, installing some program or restarting of the computer. I tried to put my GTX 650 into that slot (there are 2 slots for graphic cards, and I tried both of them) instead of R9 290, and everything works without problems. So I decided to connect my GTX 650 that works perfect to x16 slot, and the R9 290 to x8 slot... connecting the monitor to GTX650, it detect also the R9 290 without any problems, but when I disconnect the monitor from the GTX650 and connect to R9 290, the monitor going to safe mode again. I tried all these connections with many different cables (all the cables are in working condition).
If somebody can help me, I will be grateful
Thanks

I sent this laptop in for repair awhile ago and I just noticed that my computer doesn't recognize my dedicated NVIDIA 650m graphics card. It's not avalible in device manager or anything. It's as if it doesn't exist. I've started doing some work where I really need it and I'm stuck with the integrated graphics. I've ensured every drive is up to date, I've tried downloading drivers from NVIDIA's website, and I've tried downloading HP's posted Windows 8 drivers (there's nothing for WIndows 10). Nothing has worked so far.

Hey guys, I was hoping someone could help me with a problem my friend and I are having with his new Motherboard.

He's running an Asus M4N68T-M LE V2 and while the rest of the board works fine, it just won't see his graphics card in the PCI-E slot. We've tried various solutions and none have yet to yield any results.

We've tried disabling the onboard graphics through device manager etc. The board also doesn't let you turn off the onboard from BIOS, only allows you to set the priority of the display adapters, which is set to the PCI-E first. It just won't show his card in device manager.

His spec is: Asus M4N68T-M LE V2. AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.4Ghz Black Edition. 4GB (2x2GB) Mushkin 1333Mhz DDR3 Ram. Nvidia Geforce GTS450 GFX Card.

I've also tried using my ATI Radeon 5750HD Card and still shows no detection.

We've been trying this for over a day and we just can't figure it out. Help please

One problem that is common when installing these big video cards into Micro-ATX motherboards is that you may not get the card to fully seat properly because some obstruction is holding it up.

Carefully check the entire card/MB area to see if there is anything that may be propping the card up.
Remove the card and re-seat it looking and listening carefully to hear the rear tang on the video card "click" into place.

Here's the deal,
I purchased a HP Pavilion dv9540us Entertainment Notebook PC and upgraded to Windows 7, after I got a virus and let Microsoft Techs into my laptop remotely in an effort to remove the worm and they deleted some key OS Files. So, they were kind enough to give me Windows 7 Professional & install Office 2010, but failed to inform me that upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 would render my Nvidia graphics card useless. So, here I am trying to figure out what to do and where to get the correct Drivers to get my HDMI & Other ports working again. I tried talking to HP, but to them it's a matter of national security & if your not willing to "Grea$e the wheels" they're not willing to give up the "seceret." Although, They did tell me that I will need to download a chipset driver to my HP Pavilion dv9540us that is compatible with Windows 7 and then my Nvidia graphics card will be detectible by my Device manager. Then I would need to update my Nvidia Drivers, Reboot, and I should be up and running. Sounds good, but what is the HP Driver I need? Does anyone have a link or any better input?
Because, I am about ready to Smash this thing or hunt down some HP Support guy.

Hi,I have in the past had a lot of problems with my Nvidia K2000M on my W530. Windows have kept disabling this due to "code 43" (Yellow triangle by the display driver).I have solved this by reinstalling Nvidia drivers, but when this happened every 3 days or so, I started to suspect something was wrong. And I believe I was right.... I tried to uninstall the driver (probably a mistake) before reinstalling the driver, but now the graphics card cannot be detected at all. When I try to install Nvidia drivers I get the following error message: "NVIDIA Installer cannot continue. This graphics driver could not find compatible graphics hardware". I also tried to disable optimus in BIOS, and enabled discrete graphics to try to force the computer to find the NVIDIA graphics card, but this obviously didn´t work. The computer then starts up with low graphcis and bad resolution. Under "Display adapters" in Device Manager there is no card detected at all (As the Intel integrated was disabled). So, is my NVIDIA graphics card defective, or is there som other solution to try to detect it? PS! I Also did a system update through Lenovos update center. Updated firmware in BIOS etc. This did not solve the problem..... Thanks,-ø

I had to restore my sons computer to the original state. (windows XP) I've order a cd for service pack2 and 3 and installed them. Now the computer will not start unless it's in safe mode. I'm unable to update anything from Microsoft updates. I keep getting an error code that I need to update to netframe 2.0 or higher. All the links on the Microsoft web site that I try to update netframe also give me an error that either the update is not valid or that it is not complete. What should I try next? I feel this is probably a simple fix as has been the case in the past. I also am no longer able to use the wireless adapter to find the home network and was able to before the system restore.

Thanks,

A:Windows XP and Netframe 2.0 or higher update not valid

hello did you try

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26

when you download , it will also prompt you to download some other packages which may be relevant. I know because i just had to.

update to internet explorer 8 at least if you have to and try to download everything you can.
Make sure updates are not being blocked because registration has not been completed. Until i had keyed in the windows code i had problems in updating some items.
Doubt this is an issue , but make sure all the drivers are there from relevant web site

hope this helps

Please help me in solving a windows update failure. I have windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64.

The two windows updates that fail are
System Update Readiness Tool for Windows 7 (KB947821)
any Microsoft.NET framework both 4.5.2 (KB2901983) and 4.6.1 (KB3102433)

I found a similar thread and followed the steps in it, but no joy.
Performed SFC /scannow, but the WRP did not find any integrity violations. I tried to run the SURT tool (same tool as KB947821) by a manual download and run but it reports the "hotfix failed to install". So I don't have a SURT tool log to submit.

What's the next step?

I have the same problem from the August updates but the suggested updates, KB2533523, KB2468871, KB2539636 all end with a Fatal Error.

The log is attached. (all three are the same in the error section) I have been working with MS and all of their suggestions on fixing Windows Update have failed also.

The three here ended with Error=2502 and Error=2503

I am signed in as the hidden admin to have all rights.

If anyone has any ideas it would be greatly appreciated.

As a former QA analyst I have and two (I think) very important clues for someone who knows Net Framework and Windows 7 update process better than I.

1. Is Net Framework there or is that what failed in the August restart?
My trail----
msconfig (doing a clean boot)
hide all Microsoft Services

Microsoft .NET Framework NGEN V4.0.30319 x86 AND x64 do not get hidden and the 'Manufacturer' is listed as UNKNOWN

Go to services
the V4.0.30319 x64 and x86 are there, delayed start, both stopped, both logon as local system account
the V2.0.50727 x64 and x 86 are both disabled.

Since the manufacturer is unknown it would seem to me partial failure during update lost some subset of needed data.

so

2. I run sfc /scannow to find corrupted dlls that sfc cannot fix.

The only way i can get it to go pass the windows start up screen is if I disable the GFX card in safe mode and then restart and it loads up fine but with out the gfx card enabled, which is no good if your runing a gaming rig lol I have spent hours trying to solve this problem i even rang Microsoft support to only be told to give them a bunch of details to the polite indian getalmen down the phone and told they cant help... I'm looking to upgrade my sons PC because the crappy onboard SiS 64mb graphics wont run GTA San Andreas.
As far as I am aware it is AGP 8x.
I'm looking for something cheap and cheerful to run this game and maybe a few other similar games he plays.
Would something like http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/104734 be suitable?
Any others to recommend in the £20-30 range?

Hi.I have an hp envy 700-481 and I was thinking about upgrading my graphics care to a Gtx 1050 but i am curious IF my PC can take it without any errors?Thankful for any answers

A:Update graphics card

Hi, The NVIDIA GTX 1050 should work.  Measure inside to make sure that the particular make and model will fit. However, the GTX 1050 is a huge step down in performance compared to the original GTX 770. You would need to go up to the GTX 1080 to see a noticeable improvement in GPU performance.  Check the PCIe auxillary power connectors and be sure that your PSU has at least one 8 pin PCIe power connector.  Some GTX 1080s will require two 8 pin PCIe power connectors or two 6+2 PCIe power connectors. A NVIDIA GTX 980TI would also give you a nice jump in performance. Review your requirements and your pocketbook.

I've been looking to upgrade my graphics card so I can get a decent FPS going when I play any games or whatnot, but I have no idea which card would be a good replacement.

I currently have a run of the mill Dell Inspiron 530s and unfortunately, it only has space for a low profile card, which from what I understand limits my options by a lot.

It has a 3gb ram and a 250watt powersupply. The processor it has is a Pentium Dual core @ 2.20 GHz.

I would appreciate it if you guys could recommend me a decent low profile, x16 pci-express card that is below $100 and won't be bogged down by my low power supply.

Hello, I'm currently using a Dell Dimension E310 Desktop. I bought it initally for just general use. But I recently started playing World of Warcraft. Everything on my E310 is still standard except the RAM wich is DDR2. I upgraded to 2G of RAM 1G in each slot wich is the max that it allows. Well my current graphics card plays World of Warcraft just fine except when im raiding.(Group of people usually 10-25 take down a dugeon) Raiding is the whole reason i play now and I get really low framerates while doing so. My question is what graphics card can I get without having to upgrade my power supply, wich is 230watt. I've been reading other threads and they're saying that this isnt exaclty the best model for upgrading things. I usually get a solid 35fps when I'm by myself playing World of Warcraft. But when i join a raid group and anything big comes out I drop to about 10-15fps. I dont want to have a super graphics card or anything I just dont want to lagg during raids. Any suggestions would be helpfull. Also could someone clarify what the differnce between PCIE x1 and PCI is? My BUS type is PCI 2.3 and PCI Express x1. PCI has a 120 pin connector and the PCI Express has a 36 pin connector. Thanks much.

I've looked all over these forums and i haven't found a solution to updating a PCI driver.
I've recently downloaded Game Booster and it showed an update for Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family. My current version is 6.14. The latest is 9.0.2 (as it says on GameBooster + Website).
When i installed the newest version on the website, the driver setup ran perfectly and it needed to reboot. When it rebooted, i checked Device Manager again and it STILL said version: 6.14. I even checked GameBooster and it said an update for 9.0.2.

Can someone please help me in updating the driver?

A:Graphics card update? help?

Welcome to TSG.
I would suggest not relying on a third party program to tell you what drivers you need to update. If you are not having any video issues, then there is no reason to update your video driver. When it's time, only update from the manufacuters website.
For example to update your Intel Driver, go to Intel's Website and either search for driver manually, or try their update utility.
