How do you remove voice dub-overs on avi. files?

Q: How do you remove voice dub-overs on avi. files?

We are not wanting to overload our computer with programs
that cause problems with other areas, so we would like to be
able to use vlc or windows media player or nero, to somehow
remove/erase those nasty voice dub-overs on movies so we
can plainly hear the real movie [and english voices] that is/are
still to be heard in the background.

Preferred Solution: How do you remove voice dub-overs on avi. files?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: How do you remove voice dub-overs on avi. files?

I'm not sure....but I think you would need the english track and have vlc use that instead of the track that you originally have. I might be wrong...but I don't think you can remove it, you can only replace it...

I have been searching the web like crazy trying to figure out what's wrong. I have found many close but nothing has worked. Here's the problem. While starting the game I have background noise like the cart moving, the horses, birds and everything else. It comes down to none of the voice-overs during the whole thing works. Anyone have recommendations? I've tried updating drivers and basic things. I'm almost tempted to remove the voices.bsa and try finding a new one to use.

Goto your audio settings and turn up voice and turn down music. Make sure master audio is maxed out too. are you using surround sound speakers or headphones? some people are reporting issues with 5.1 headphones (if they are set to matrix) might not have the centre speaker working. check the surround settings in your sound manager. go to sound control panel in windows and select lower quality default format go from 24 bit 96000 Hz to 16 bit 44100 hz to test and see if it works

Hey guys hope you can help me here.
When i'm at any kind of voice overs, in a call on skype or teamspeak it manages to happen a sound crash, but the time isnt certain, sometimes it takes about 10 minutes and other times take 1 hour or more to crash.
When the sound crashes, all the videos freeze. Its like watching a video with super slow motion and no sound.
Only way to solve this is rebooting.

The thing about adware is that every company has a different set of criteria to use to search your hard drive. Myway is a case in point, since some companies will consider some of the files adware and others will not.
If you have scanned your hard drive with several key anti-spyware applications (Ad-AwareSE, Sypbot, AVG Anti-spyware, for example), then I would not over worry about what one on-line scan has found.

Hello Moffit and welcome to the BC HijackThis forum. Let's start by removing an infection called l2m.Print these directions or copy/paste them into a Notepad document and save it to your desktop. What is the best means of saving voice data files? I am a writer/interviewer. I have, so far, about 30 interviews that are between 45 minutes and 80 minutes each. It didn't dawn on me until I started thinking about saving the data to CD, that each file is actually very big, in both wave and mp3 formats. It appears, using these formats, that I can save only one to a whole CD. Any knowledge, or a better way, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Okay, recently I was infected with the Blaster Worm. Both my laptop and desktop became seriously ill and I was forced to reformat both. Before the problem escalated to the point where I felt nothing more could be done (on my desktop at least, my laptop would crash after being booted up for a few minutes), I went to Trend Micro and scanned my computer, it showed that there was indeed a worm on my system but it could not be fixed, only deleted, so I did this in hopes that it would rid me of my problems... It didn't. Now, after a reformat, my laptop seems to work fine, yet my desktop is practically unusable online, for it lags horrendously (though it only seems to do it in the after noon and such, not in the morning), but only while online. I Ran Symantec's Blaster detector but it found nothing, I also downloaded and installed the Windows patch for the security flaw, but nothing seems to have been fixed. Whether this flaw is being caused by traces of the worm or not, I do not know, but here is my HijackThis log:

I have been having a problem for the last month or so where batches of "forwarded" voice files turn into one .mht file, as opposed to several separate voice files, and I cannot open it. Prior to this, I had no problem receiving voice files this way. Thank you!

Long years ago I used a program called "switch" from NCH Software to shrink voice recording files drastically without significant loss of clarity.  My recollection is the original MP3 recordings (from a Sony pocket voice recorder) ran about 10 MB per minute, and the converted files about 10 minutes per MB, in other words a 100-fold reduction in file size without noticeable loss of quality (and yes, I know you couldn't do this with nature or music recordings, but the human voice in conversation has limited bandwidth).
That was a good many years ago and now, needing to do the same thing again, I have forgotten how I did it.  Does anyone have words of wisdom here?  I suppose it's a matter of playing with the bit rate?  and/or converting to some other format such as WMA?

A:How to compress MP3 voice recording files?

Maybe I'm missing something, but if Switch can do what you need, why not use it?Incidentally, around 10MB per minute is CD standard, not MP3. Even so, 100-fold reduction in file size without noticeable loss of quality would be quite an achievement.

Im having an issue in Win7 Home where my Aero previews arent staying active. I mouse over a program and the preview disappears after about a second. Also, in Outlook, the previews of appointments are doing the same thing. Not sure whats happening. Any help?

A:Aero and other mouse-overs not staying up

At the risk of sounding like I'm nuts

Do you have more than one mouse connected to the computer?

If not,

Are you using a touchpad or a regular mouse?

I think the settings for Outlook and Windows 'tooltip timeouts' are separate. However they both use the mouse.hover event. Hence my mice questions.

I could be wrong but as a programmer, I did receive information from Microsoft on their standards for how I should set the tooltip timeout in any program that I wrote to run in Windows 7 in order for them to give me an official 'For Windows 7' stamp.

Hello & Happy New Year

I've been having a problem with my computer for about 2 wks now. I tried to download a program and now I get redirects and popup/over windows. I have tried to resolve the issue during this time, but have not been having the success I would like to have. I want my computer back, free of garbage, redirects, and popup/overs.

OS is XP Pro.

I have recently uninstalled comodo, due to the fact that I was having trouble downloading the free issue of a firewall. As a result I downloaded Agnitum, which was also supposed to be free. Ended up paying for it b/c it was supposed to do so much for 3 computers. AVG was also on the computer and didn't like the fact that I had recently reinstalled Agnitum. For years I had had both Agnitum & Comodo. I had forgotten about the Agnitum, and this is why I ended up putting Comodo on the computer. So i uninstalled it first and had been using Comodo firewall, antivirus, etc. When I tried to download a program that a friend recommended (Email stripper), is when the actual redirects, etc., began to happen. I tried to restore the computer to an earlier date, but without success. I tried about 5 or 6 different restore dates. All failed.

I uninstalled AVG which was also giving me problems and downloaded Avast. Avast found 48 items on the first scan, 49 on the second, and after the second scan, recommended a reboot scan. I don't remember all the trojans, etc., that it found. Still having problems. I have run ... Read more

I just set up a new Surface Book for a user, running Windows 10 Pro x64. Everything seems fine on the native display. I have him using the Surface Dock and two Dell 24" monitors. Everything looks great on these monitors except the mouse-over popups, such as mousing over a system tray icon. The font is easily twice what the rest of the system fonts look like. Is there a spot to check on this? I thought we looked under Display Options and tooltips were set to the same size as everything else. However, on my Windows 10 system, changing this font to something much higher doesn't cause the same issue my user is experiencing....so I don't think that is the setting I am looking for.

Thanks, in advance, for any ideas.

This modem is the HIRO Model H50113, which worked well in Windows Vista and Windows7, but as soon as I upgraded to Windows 10, the new operating system deleted the driver that makes my voice capabilities work on the modem, so it FAILS in voice functions. It is not possible to add that driver back, since the OS kills it like a virus. I noticed the driver I'd used is no longer in the drivers list, and I've heard from HIRO that this is happening MORE and MORE, for those whose Windows 10 version is 1511 IOS Build 1058635. Until Microsoft fixes this, my ability to send and receive voicemail with this modem is DEAD. Microsoft should finalize and update another Windows 10 build, to correct this destructive effect.

A:Upgraded to W10 & VOICE part of my voice/fax modem FAILS. Anyone else?

I wouldn't expect Microsoft to update Windows 10 to resolve an error with third-party hardware. Usually, the hardware vendor would update their drivers to be compatible with Windows.

What drivers were you using? I see that Hiro has Windows 10 drivers for the H50113, but they pre-date the November (1511) update.

Basically, whenever someone sends me a voice clip, I can hear the sound perfectly. No added noises, only what the person inputs themselves.

However, when speaking directly with someone (voice chat, video chat), the sound, their voices, everything I hear from them is very static-y and buzzy.
What makes me even more frustrated is that this problem isn't present in a Skype chat... Skype chats work perfectly, and they're just the same as MSN voice chats...

I've hit a dead end on this program. IF you don't know voice changer (just like the name) can change your voice live as it happens. A friend of mine has the same program and when he changes his voice, and talks over the mic, I hear it just fine. No static or anything. Just like it's suppose to.

However when I do it..no. To me, I sound like I'm suppose to. I've tested it by recording myself, playback, ect ect. It seems like its perfect until it leaves my computer. I talk and the playback is perfect, what he hears is static, annoying, not even a language. Very hard for him to understand me. Doesn't matter what program we use or what mic I use. It just doesn't reach him like I hear it.

I posted a question several weeks ago - unfortunately though I cannot seem to find it. I asked if anyone knew how to enable PC voice to PC voice conversations through Messenger from a PC behind a home network firewall.

Well, after several weeks of e-mails, questions and answers to and from many people, I have at last found a solution that works and thought I should post to the group.

Firstly, here's a reminder as to what the problem was....

I have 2 XP Home Ed PC's networked and connected via a cable modem to the www through the one machine acting as the internet gateway. I have XP firewall enabled. I can simultaneously send and receive e-mail from both machines, browse the www from both machines, and use Messenger from both machines. I can use Messenger 'Talk' from one networked machine to the other (invited or accepted), I can use Messenger 'Talk' from the internet gateway machine to any of my contacts who has Messenger and a microphone. What I have been unable to do is to instigate or accept a Messenger 'Talk' conversation from the PC on my home network that is no the internet gateway.

Here's the simple solution for those who may be experiencing the same problem. Make sure that you have the SSDP Discovery Service and Universal Plug and Play Host services in XP enabled. To do so, go to the Start button, then click Control Panel, go to Administrative Tools (you may need to 'Switch to Classic Mode' on the left side pa... Read more

I am using Windows 10 + Nuance ENG Malcolm voice.
Please let me know if there is any solution other registry editing(regedit)?
I already referred

I am getting annoying "Congratulations, you won a ..." voice ups and a related window when I open certain websites. I did a search and found that Tech Guy Support has assisted others with removing this virus/malware. Scanning one of these postings, though, I saw the advice that others should not follow that same instructions, as they were specific to the computer of the individual who had made the request.

My wife's computer (we have a LAN), which runs on XP (mine runs on Vista), first became infected, so I will need to clean up both computers. Neither McAfee nor Ad Aware scans has resolved the problem. Internet Explore no longer operates properly on either of our computers, and I'm using Firefox.

I would appreciate guidance on eliminating this problem.

I downloaded a CD of a friend's Civil War research to my "Documents" file. Seems to be an Alpha Five v8 application with dozens of files. Not in the Add/Remove tool. When I try to manually delete files, copies of each are made. Icon the CD created on desktop won't open the alpha5.exe.manifest it calls up. How do I remove everything?? Computer running Windows XP3, 7 year old Compaq Presario...slow, but enough for my needs.

Hello all,I think this is a pretty simple answer. I have been looking over the internet but haven't not found a solid solution. I have a subscription to Bitdefender 2009 Antivirus. After a scan it tells me that the following are password protected files. I just want to delete them! Whats the best way to do this? After reading around, I tried to use ATF Cleaner and Ccleaner. After I used those programs I ran the full system scan again and the files are still found. I even tried to allow myself to see them through the folder options. Any ideas? I have a a Goodmans GMP31000DRM, its 1gb. I am using about 993mb of the memory and a full battery. The problem i am having is that i can get into the voice recorder bit and record but when i go to play the file, it says no files. When i talk everything off the mp3 player (all the songs etc) then i can record and play the file. How much memory do i need to have free or is there another reason? Also the times when it has said that there are no files, yet there should be, i checked the mp3 player on the computer and the file was actually on there, so why was it not showing up to play?

Ok this is what I did.
I already had cs3 and had numerous plugins/brushes installed.
I bought Photoshop cs5, I decide that instead of re-downloading all of my plugins/brushes etc, from cs3 I would just move them from cs3 into the cs5 folders.
This worked fine for the brushes and a few of the plugins.
However, I?m having trouble with Topaz Adjust, Simplify, DeNoise, Detail, Clean, Remask, DeJPEG.
When I open them in cs5 some of the tools and features are missing, so I tried to uninstall them with add/remove programs.
The uninstall program starts but then gives me a pop up that says ?Fatal Error?
I moved the program back to the original cs3 folders, but was still unable to uninstall it.
So I re-downloaded and attempted to re-install the programs, but my computer would not complete the installation. It sees another version of the program is already installed, and recommends going to add remove programs to uninstall it first.
So then I deleted the folders from the computer. This of course did not work. (I know bad idea)
So then I used system restore, but this did not fix my problem.
So I downloaded the programs onto another computer and put them on a memory stick.
I hoped that I could choose the repair option and tell it where to find the files. This did not work either.
Any suggestions?
My computer is a Dell Latitude D520 laptop running XP Professional Edition.

A:Add/Remove programs will not remove files

You could try a 3rd party program removal utility such as Revo Uninstaller. It will typically first try to remove it with the programs uninstaller that comes with the application, if this fails it will remove associated files/registry keys which should remove it from your add/remove programs.

I'm on Windows 7. I know that I had Virtual Box on my pc in the past. I don't see it in Add/Remove Programs, probably because I already removed it. But my C drive is filling up and SpaceSniffer shows that I have a folder named .VirtualBox which is 13.4 GB. How can I remove this to make space on my drive?

If they're VDI files, delete them.

A:Remove Virtual Box Files, Files Left Behind?

If you don't want it or use it anymore, you can just delete the .virtualbox folder if you wanted. I believe the.virtualbox folder is in the hidden AppData location.

You would have to unhide the folder - Option One here:

Hidden Files and Folders - Show or Hide

*Just the hidden folders, files, Drives. No need to unhide the Protected Operating System files option there.
You can set it back to hidden after deleting your .virtualbox folder if you want.

Then go to C:/Users/yourusernamehere/Appdata/Local, and the folder should be in there.

I believe it's in Local folder, not totally positive though. Might be in Roaming. Don't have it installed, so don't remember exactly. Check which appdata folder it's in, and you can delete the whole .virtualbox folder if desired.

I recently started having issues with my data/fax/voice modem installed in my XPS-600 after an XP SP3 re-install.

The card is recognized in XP and it's listed in Device Manager (Intel(R) 537EP V9x DF PCI Modem) along with its audio driver (Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device) with no apparent problems indicated. If I open the properties for the Unimodem Half-Duplex Audio Device it says "This device is working properly." From there I go to the Properties Tab > Audio Devices > Modem Wave Driver > Properties and it says "Driver is enabled and functioning properly".

I've Googled for days to resolve this, with no luck. I can fax with the modem, dial calls and it also interprets caller ID correctly in the app I use (Classic PhoneTools), it's just that the audio features don't work anymore (needed for recording and playing back voicemail messages).

I've downloaded a newer driver and still no luck.

It would be fantastic if someone knows the answer to this one. I'm usually pretty good at sorting this kind of stuff out, but this one has me stumped. Every feature of this modem works but the audio...

Hi, the only place I find this is here:
- i.e. not currently in use.

SppExtComObjpatcher.Exe could be more worrying.
Other sites suggest it could be clean.
Try submitting it to Virustotal
VirusTotal - Free Online Virus, Malware and URL Scanner
and take removal steps if appropriate.

I believe you're trying to add Windows Defender exclusions - although you haven't explained that. Any reason why?

SppExtComObj.Exe is described as KMS Connection Broker
I have no instance of the other two shown.
