Driver for LAN Ethernet 10/100BASE-T (conector RJ-45)

Q: Driver for LAN Ethernet 10/100BASE-T (conector RJ-45)

Hi, good afternoon, I have some problems to find the drivers for my laptop HP Pavilion Notebook - 15-ab223cl (Touch) (ENERGY STAR)... I used the links that I find in other chat but is was deleted in HP Support, someone can help me please.

Preferred Solution: Driver for LAN Ethernet 10/100BASE-T (conector RJ-45)

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Hi there TSG, I'd like you to give me a little hand on here.

See, I use both speakers and headphones to listen to music in mi pc. Sometimes I use the former, sometimes the later. I don't have a front audio panel, so changing the plugs it's annoying, gotta move too many things. At first I used an audio splitter, but it's quality its utterly horrid, and I've tried like 3 kinds.

My board, an ECS with Realtek ALC662 has the typical 3 conectors, Audio Input, Audio Output n Mic Input. The software driver allows to arrange the streams to have output trough the inputs for a mirrored 2 speakers, 4 speakers and 5.1 speakers sound system. So, instead of the splitter, I use the software to mirror the output through the audio input. So far so good, but the problem is everytime I reboot the PC, the config gets lost, and I have to unplug and plug the input plug for the software to ask me what I wanna do with that stream [make an output, plz] So, it's the same as just switching and the idea is to avoid it.

Sooooo, I wonder, does anybody knows for a program that could mirror the output through the input? Or maybe, does know how the software driver works for making the changes without having to unplug and plug for the software to ask? maybe it changes something in the registry or maybe sets an option in a file...
Any kind of help is always welcomed :] Thks in advance.
PS: And as a bonus, does somebody knows about a program that could morph the mic input ... Read more

I've got a desktop (pretty old)
I just got a new wireless internet router but i usually use the USB with my old one. However, this one doesn't have a USB port , only Ethernet. I plugged it in but nothing happens. I think I need the drivers for the ethernet port, if that exists?
I'm running Windows XP.

A:Need Ethernet Driver!!

A wireless router has 4 or more wired ports on the back of it so you can use a combination of wired and wireless connections, if you want to.

Since your old desktop has an ethernet adaptor and uses a wired connection, it needs to have the driver for it installed for it to work properly and get a connection.

Right-click MY COMPUTER, then click Properties - Hardware - Device Manager. When the Device Manager window opens, click the + in Network Adaptors. What is the description listed for the wired ethernet adaptor? Is the an X or exclamation mark or question mark next to the entry?

What is the brand name, model name, and model number of that desktop?

What version of Windows is running in it?

Hi: Did you try the Vista Business drivers from your notebook's support page? Try manually installing the driver if the auto install method doesn't work. You would manually install the driver as follows... Go to the device manager and click on the ethernet controller needing the driver. Click on the driver tab, click on update driver. Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file. That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp37093. Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.

A:Ethernet driver gone?

Did your computer come with a setup DVD? That setup DVD may contain crucial drivers for your computer including the ones for sound and network. So use that and check it out if your computer came with a setup DVD. You may need to ask at the store you bought that machine while its new.

If not, here's a solution. Type Device Manager on the Search bar st the Start Menu. On the Device Manager, under "Network Adapters", choose your network adapter, right click it and choose Update Driver Software. Then Browse My computer for Driver Software then Let me pick for driver software installed on my computer. It shows a list of compatible driver software. Click one until its highlighted and choose Next. It should try installing driver software then you may need to restart for that to take effect.

If this won't do either, copy the exact name of your motherboard. Use another computer with Internet, type that name on Google and add "ETHERNET drivers for" lets say for example "ETHERNET drivers for <exact name of your motherboard model>" then Search that on Google. You can see links where you can download drivers for that, look for the ETHERNET driver compatible for Windows 7, download that, put that on a USB drive then install that to your computer.

A:How do I know what ethernet driver I need?

The ENet driver you have will depend on the mobo manufacturers choice of hardware. Since it's an Intel processor, you probably have Intel ENet hardware.

If you open the case, somewhere on the mobo, usually in white letters, you'll see the model number and the brand of mobo. Enter those in google and follow the appropriate link to the manufacturers web site. Then follow the links to 'Drivers'. There you'll find and download the driver for your mobo. Load that onto a thumbdrive and then install it on your computer.

I was working normally using cable connection (no wifi available), when suddenly the internet was disconnected. Earlier when the first time I plugged the cable (about 4 hours before), the icon keep switching for a few moments between connected (monitor icon on taskbar) and disconnected (empty wifi icon). I decided to uninstall the driver (in the past this worked for me), but when I reinstalled the driver, the error message seen in the bottom left of the attached image.

I looked for a solution, one is by setting the system events broker to auto, but I can't change it (top right image). I also checked the bios, but I can't find any option related to LAN card.

A:Ethernet driver can't be reinstalled

I had a similar problem when upgrading from W7 to W10. The network adapter worked fine until the final reboot of the W10 upgrade, then it failed to connect.

Before getting to the fix that worked for me note that Ethernet cables are not very robust at all. They can be damaged easily by one too many yanks or being tripped over. And router ports can go bad too so consider swapping cables and ports.

I decided to uninstall the driver (in the past this worked for me)

This does often work, but because today's computers don't power off completely when shutdown (they go into standby), sometimes it is necessary to completely remove power to release any settings (including network settings) the ATX required +5Vsb voltage is holding. For a PC, this means unplugging from the wall or setting the PSU's master power switch, if it has one, to off for 15 - 30 seconds. For a notebook, this means unplugging the charger and removing the battery. This "cold" boot process is often necessary when uninstalling and reinstalling network drivers.

From another computer I had to visit the failed computer's website and got the latest network drivers for and saved them to a thumb drive. Then back on the failed computer, I uninstalled the current drivers and installed the new drivers from the thumbdrive, shutdown and powered off completely, waited 15 seconds, connected power and booted. Windows saw "new hardware" and installed the new drivers and i... Read more

Bought a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit PC at a flea market that someone had built themselves. It has an Intel core 2 duo e7500 processor, 4 GB of RAM, a Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L motherboard, and Award modular BIOS.

I can't get to the internet with it.

Device manager looked okay - no questions marks, but when I opened Network adapters, it just said ethernet driver - no actual name. When I clicked on properties, it said no driver was installed. I tried the update driver software, scan for hardware changes, but nothing helped.

Then I uninstalled the driver, rebooted, and there it was - a Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC driver.

However, when I clicked on properties it said 'This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use (Code 12)'.

I tried a different driver - Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller #2, but get the same results about the lack of free resources.

What can I do?

I combined my dual OS computer into only one large partition and Fdisked(wiped out my OS(s) on my primary hard drive, in an attempt to reinstall on XP OS for my computer.

To make a long story as short as I can, I removed(Fdisk) and "clean installed" my XP Pro OS from Dell's XP installation disk on my unpartitioned primary hard drive, But I can NOT connect to my ISP or the internet because I lost the driver CD and can't connect to the internet to download and install then.

Looking in the My Computer/Device Manager, by clicking on the "plus sign" of mt network adapter shows 2 big yellow question marks meaning somethings are missing.

One....is the driver for the Ethernet Adapter, and the other is a Mulimedia driver.

How do I find out WHICH Ethernet driver I need....and HOW do I get it without the CD or access to the internet to download it?

Any ideas, please?

Complicated story but after trying to install Windows 7 I couldn't get it to work so the only other disk I had was Windows XP Home. Installation went smoothly. Only thing is, I can't connect to the internet or my network because the ethernet driver was not regonized. A link to a site where you can download a driver would be useless because I have no connection. Please help.

To my hp pavillion a1007w with windows 7 ultimate recently installed. So it's clean and this shouldn't happen! The onboard network card should be working as it has in very beginning. But since I was having difficulties. I simply installed a different one I had laying around! I can't seem to update the driver.. The card I have just installed only have serial numbers and pin to it.. Anyway I can find this driver somehow?
