Solved: My calcuator display is cropped. Unusable.

Q: Solved: My calcuator display is cropped. Unusable.

In the last week or so (can't remember last time I used the calculator, but about that time span) my calculator has serious display issues.

The display is cropped and also doesn't get invalidated (if I press clear). I can drag it off screen and it will invalidate.

The machine took updates from MS sometime between me using the calculator normally and now but I couldn't find anything in the update history that seemed to have any bearing on this issue.

Preferred Solution: Solved: My calcuator display is cropped. Unusable.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A: Solved: My calcuator display is cropped. Unusable.

Sounds like something related to Windows Themes. Right click on the desktop, choose Personalize and then select a Aero theme. See if that cures it.

If I copy a picture folder to a USB drive, plug it into the port on the player and display it on my HDTV. all photos display except the ones I have cropped. I crop pictures with Arcsoft Photostudio, saving them as JPEGs, which is the format of the original pictures. As stated, only cropped pictures will not display, All non-cropped pictures do. I called Sony support, got no help. Can someone help me solve the problem? Thanks very much.

Running into a sporadic issue with some technical posting web sites.
Example: BGR.com
When the article comment section is displayed, comments greater then 3 or more in length are cropped and will not display.

Reloading of the page does not change this.
It appears to be linked to pages where advertisements are displayed at the base of the same column as the comments.

I have Win XP Pro SP2 installed and am currently having a problem with the display on any menu windows that appear. They are cropped off so any slider bars are missing half off the window so you can't adjust. It's almost as if the menus that come up aren't big enoughh. But they always used to be. You can't resize them by dragging. I have installed latest video drivers (Nvidia) and BIOS is up to date. Any suggestions.

I have a problem that when I use either of my HD 1080p TVs,
the desktop seems to be cropped by about 40 pixels on all four sides of the screen.
It happens on both my Sony Bravia LCD TV and my Sharp Aquos TV.
I do not think it is a driver or Windows problem per se, as if I plug the HDMI into
my 1080p ASUS monitor, all is fine (all pixels are shown). On the Sony, I can also
adjust Horizontal Center up to 5 pixels but of coarse I lose a pixel on the right for
every pixel I gain on the left.

Therefore, I think the display is actually something like 1880 x 1040
instead of 1920 x 1080. While this is not a problem with pictures, it is a big
problem with a Windows Desktop, as the Start Menu is hard to use.

Is there any simple way in Windows 7 to tell it not to use the edges of the screen?

A:Display cropped on 1080p TV using HDMI cable?

This is the answer I found using
"Intel Graphics and Media Control Panel" Other graphic
drivers will probably have a completely different terminology.
OK. I finally found the setting you were talking about under
<Right-click the desktop> / Graphic Properties ... / Advanced Mode - OK
Under "Custom Resolution" and answering yes to the very scary
warning about how this could cause your computer to blow up.
I set width 1920  height 1080 refresh rate 59 color depth 32
Underscan percentage 20% (I left interlace off and Timing GTF)
I think (hope) "Timing Standard" is ignored using HDMI.
I then added the Custom resolution 1862 x 1048, 32 bit, 59 Hz
I then switched to "General Settings", Select the "Resolution" as
the custom one of 1862x1048 AND set "Scaling" to "Center Image".
The last bit is very important as none of the other settings seem to have
an affect unless "Center Image" is chosen. It still Chops off
some pixels around the edged but Underscan percentage 20% was the
highest I could set when I apparently needed 30-40%. But at least
now I can see the speaker control and the time.
Thanks everyone for their help.

I have been using a dual monitor setup for my work.

The work PC is a Dell optiplex 760 to which I have added a Sapphire R7 240 GPU and OCZ synapse 64 GB. Aside from that the normal 3 GB ram since its running Win7 32 bit.

The main monitor was a Dell U2311H via the DVI socket. The second included Dell monitor is a standard 19" square monitor via VGA.
I've had to relocate the U2311H and replaced it wth a Dell S234L monitor. Since the S2340L does not come with a DVI socket, I used the HDMI socket instead.

The problem is that post-boot after the DOS and the windows loading screen, the screen gets smaller in size and is not the full monitor from the password screen onwards. The resolution has been set to 1080p. Windows screen resolution does show 1080p, however a smaller cropped version. Its like I'm loosing an inch on each side. I have no idea why.

I think it may be due to the HDMI socket, but the monitor does support 1080p. The secondary monitor is connected via VGA. I have unplugged the second monitor and just use one monitor just to see if the problem disappears, it is still there. There are no problems with the monitor since the dell menu appear fine and the DOS loads up full screen.

Any ideas?

Greeting to you all on a cold rainy winters morning at 0831hrs here.

last night on my newest computer Amd quad core.
win7 and winXP 64 are installed on it.

I have several USB IDE cases that I use for storage.
One, I connected to the computer above and when starting up it didn't get to the boot ini screen.
just a black screen with cursor blinking in top left corner.
disconnected the USB IDE drive and all started OK.
I went into Win7 then plugged in the USB IDE drive.
computer wasn't a happy chappy.

Went to win explorer and the USB IDE drive showed up with the largest NTFS partition (120gigs) with no name and when clicking on it a message came up that "cannot read needs to be formated."
The other partition (40gigs) which is FAT32 was fine.(It needs to be Fat32 to use with my Korg Kronos.)

Restarted computer in WinXP64 and it was able to read the "faulty" NTFS 120 gig partition OK.
I decided to run Checkdisc from "MiniTool Partition Wizard" freeware. Far superior with more options and faster than Norton "partition Magic"
I think Win checkdisc is crap. tells me nothing.

the "MiniTool PartitionWizard" puts out a log file as it goes with all the file details and what it has doing. In my case 186,000 files and 890,00 indexes.

It found a lot of errors and fixed, deleted or other things which are beyond me.

The outcome was that the computer now starts with the USB IDE connected and Win7 now can read the

I'm glad you got your problem sorted. The Check Disk utility in Mini Tool is the exact same one that is in Windows.
Your problem was not caused by Windows 7, but it may be caused by the enclosure loosing connection with the computer. If the USB drive has it's own power adapter be sure to plug it directly to the wall and not through a surge protector or extension cord as this diminishes the power. Be sure to plug the USB cable into the Back USB port and not through the front or through Hub as these ports are weaker.

Hi community, we are using several Thinkpads for years mostly without issues. But for a while now we have to experience issues with our T540p's in combination with pro and ultimate docks. And lately we also run into the same issue with a T570.Here our configuration, there are two external displays connected to the docking and one of them is the primary screen. And this is the issue: When we undock the T540p, the internal display should switch to be the primary and only display, but it doesn't. It seems to be that the T540p is still thinking to have external displays connected. The internal display is all black but I can move the mouse pointer from the right into the screen and can also move it out of the screen by pulling it downwards. All windows are opened on the virtual screen, which means I cannot see any configuration windows to change display behavior. Pressing Fn+F7 and up or down arrow blind does not change anything. It does not matter if I undock the T540p while it is running, or if I shutdown the system before undocking. When this error occurs it also does not matter if I connect an external display to the T540p directly, I still cannot see anything. To set the internal display to be the main display before undocking does not change the behavior anyway. If I put the T540p into the docking again, mostly everything is fine. The two external displays are running as before. If it was a desktop PC that would be fine but it is a notebook and we need to carry it with us an... Read more

I have been trying to use TS3 in BF4 (Battlefield4)- this always used to be fine,no probs since game release, and before that in BF3 and BC2.

I have not used it for a week or two, and logged back into BF4, with TS up. It took a while as when trying to type my pword into the Origin log in screen, the active window would switch- this I realised with hindsight, after everything else went up. Starting BF 4, I got screen.. black screen.. screen.. black.. ah, you get it. As son as TS3 was closed, I could keep the BF4 screen up fine.

Long story short- if I start TS3, I am unable to stay in a window- for instance if I have TS3, BF4, BF browser, and anything else (including task manager) I cannot click on a window and get it to stay active- the active window switches to something else. As a result, I cannot play BF4 with it on, do a google search (window keeps changing) or even try and change TS options- as soon as I select a menu, it jumps to another open window, or to no window (desktop I guess).Talking in TS is fine, and other users tell me that its ok- I use push to talk.

So far I have changed keyboards (in case of a sticky key somewhere), uninstalled and reinstalled TS3 4 times, first keeping settings, then deleting them, and searched google for an answer. none of these work. Any ideas welcomed, this is driving me up the wall!!

Any help appreciated-

I've recently updated to Win 7 from XP and am finding it tough going even after 8 weeks. Funny and illogical and the subtle changes to form and function are irritating, but I remember the hassle from 98SE to XP so i will press on. i originally wanted a dual boot set up so that I could use my XP software if necessary
HOWEVER, I was assured by all the brains on the internet that that that would not be necessary because Win 7 could run all my XP software.
HOWEVER, when I loaded Coral Print House Magic 4.0 and successfully used it I now find that I get absolutely zilch, nada and deafening inactivity. I have deleted the programme and reloaded it, but with the same result.
Has anyone got any ideas? This would be a disaster for me as I have so much data which uses this software. I cannot find any up to date versions on the web.

This PC was and still is a mess but is getting better slowly (viruses all gone bye bye).

I am including as much as possible so you can assess what is best for this PC.

NOTE: I closed my first thread about this and opened a second when I discovered the original issue was caused by trojan and other viruses. That has been resolved (as of yesterday, see my second thread) with the help of MoralTerror in your other HIJACK forum. MoralTerror wanted me to do a new thread about this issue. Here it is.

The original install was done in 2004, I believe W2K, and has Office and other programs (including Norton Antivirus) that were installed. But it became slow and did other things after exposure to nasty viruses (her teen kids fault). So my friend was advised to upgrade to XP (by a colleague) but that made it worse.

XP Home SP2 was apparently installed into a (small) new H: partition by her teen kids (OMG) because she is PC illiterate. They installed McAffee AV S/W but were getting a HD space error while next attempting to install printer software. And the PC was still infected and McAffee was not helping. As I stated above that is now fixed.

So back to the XP issue. She can't use the C:\ programs because of the installation in H: and her kids trashed her original CD's. She only has the XP Home SP2, printer disks (and lots of old manuals for the old S/W in C:)

I have worked on PC's, install, build etc but this makes me uneasy unless all I need to do is uninstall and re-in... Read more

I am new to this forum and it is quite intimidating reading all the warnings about pre-reading threads before posting, so let me apologise in advance if I've got it a bit wrong.

My Windows Vista machine (home premium 32-bit SP1) is unusable. I've had it for a year and have not had any problems until now. The machine is a Dell XPS M1330 BIOS version A12. Its a pretty spec'd up machine:
Intel Dual core (2GHz)
4GB RAM (although only 3.5 are accessible in 32-bit I believe)

Here are the symptoms I am experiencing:
- Internet Explorer Hangs. I am using IE8 which has been working fine for a few weeks with no issues. I have tried uninstalling it by going to "view installed updates" but that hangs.
- Outlook (and in fact most programs hang immediately on opening)
- Opening Networking and sharing centre hangs immediately
- hangs during "logging off" phase of shut down.
- trying to uninstall something from "programs and features" hangs. e.g. trying to uninstall Roxio will hang and it wont uninstall.
- control panel can only be accessed in classic view otherwise it will hang.
- can't boot into safe mode except for Directory Services Repair Mode which I can boot into, but I then experience all the hanging issues as with normal mode.
- Task manager doesn't open. When I start task manager (either from ctrl-alt-del or by right clicking the start bar and selecting task manager) the icon shows in the system tray, but there is no... Read more

A:[SOLVED] Vista unusable, hangs. Can't fix. Help!

Update on the problem:
By using Process Explorer (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/s.../bb896653.aspx) I was able to narrow the problem down to one service called Windows Event Log (which was consuming 50% CPU). If I reboot my machine with this service disabled all my problems go away. As soon as I re-enable it (by setting 'startup type' back to Automatic and rebooting or just manually starting it) the problems come back immediately.

Through disabling this service I was able to uninstall IE8 (since I couldnt even do that before)...but uninstalling ie8 didnt help.

So gladly I can now use my computer at least, but this isn't a permanent fix since I'm sure my PC will need this service at some stage.

Any ideas on what to do from here?

Really appreciate help you can offer...

Alright, so when i use any applications like games, the computer works perfectly, but when im doing nothing, when its idle its barely usable really. The process called SearchProtocolHost.exe is randomly jumping from 100% of my ram usage(2gb ddr2) to 0%. I could barely write this thread. It all started when i scanned my pc for viruses. Avast found a virus called sysreqlab.exe which was located in windows/downloaded program files/. It was a trojan so i deleted it. I have no idea if thats the reason tho. But now my pc is pretty much unusable. I let my pc load for 3hours in hopes that it'll go away on its own, but it doesn't. I also tries stopping any search filter/protocol tasks i could find, but they just pop up right back.

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3000+
NVIDIA GeForce 6200 TurboCache Video Adaptor
Maxtor 6Y120L0 (114GB) H/D

Everything works well for my needs except that the screen image in a couple of utilities are for-shortened or narrowed so that words and functions are chopped off --making them unusable.
Can someone advise me what may be causing this and give some advice as to a cure.

(How do I get a screen capture into this message so that I can better explain the problem if need be?)

Press print screen when the appropriot screen is up then paste it into paint and save it.

Then when you post a message click on the "manage attatchments" button at the bottem of the page and the rest is easy.

I belive the 'insert image' button at the top only works for images online and not on your own pc.

I emailed myself an image from another computer which I had cropped. I saved the image on this computer, and as I looked at the thumbnail in my Zune program, the cropped areas were revealed displaying the original image. Also, in The GIMP, the cropped areas were revealed in the preview box. I decided I want to have the original, uncropped image back.

Is there a way to do this?

Obviously the information is still present somewhere in the image file, because it would not be able to reveal those areas in thumbnails, but how would one go about retrieving that information?

Any help would be great.

A:Restore Cropped Image

You may need to supply more details, such as what program you used to crop the image.

In general the cropped data is lost (even though the thumbnail may not have updated to show this) but in some programs (such as Picasa) the origninal image data is retained, at least on the original computer

Ok, here's a strange one.

We have an Excel file that is updated from a remote location and e-mailed to the main office daily. This has been working fine for years, and there is no problem with the other 10 files coming from 10 other locations.

However with this particular location, if you close the file with the "X" in the upper right corner, the file closes but Excel remains open. If you click the "X" again, Excel asks if you want to save the file (whether or not you've actually changed anything in it, it asks anyway). If you click "Yes" here, the file saves and you cannot open it again on any machine. Just a gray window in Excel is all you see.

If you click the glowing orb and use "Save" from that menu, and then close Excel (you still need to click "X" twice, and then answer "No" when it asks about saving) there are no problems reopening the file later.

Has anyone run into this before? Any ideas on what to check? Office 2007 Pro with SP3.

I just installed Outlook 2007 on my Dell laptop that has Vista ot it so I could sync with my iTouch. After installing and running Outlook 2007 it is running something every few seconds that uses half the cpu. During this time I can do nothing with Outlook 2007. After a few seconds the activity subsides to normal background for one or two seconds and then I can click on something. It then starts up again. The very regular activity is confirmed by the Task Manager. When this activity is going on the cursor goes from normal to the busy curson and back very fast. This goes away when the activity stops for the one to two seconds. I was thinking it might be trying to syn with something or looking for something it can't find.

Hello i was playing a game some days ago and suddenly pc rebooted.Since then when i start my pc the windows logo at the start(before the welcome) is cropped as is the mouse cursor at all times(i think i uploaded pics).

But that would not be a problem on its own. With that came another major problem.Every time i run specific programs my pc freezes(for 10 mins maximum).

The weird thing is that with internet explorer for example is impossible to browse since it will freeze for 6min+ every now and a while but with firefox i can browse for hours and still not get a freeze....:S

Then with MSN for example when i start it it freezes for 4 mins or sth and then i can stay on for hours and get no freezes.

I ran some scans with avast and some other antispyware and they removed a trojan.Apparently tho the problem lies in the hardware(does it?) so any idea how i could find out which part exactly has the problem?

I've never really had a problem with my PC, and what few little ones there have been I was easily able to fix, but I am stumped by whats going on with it now. It is having several issues:

1) The screen will freeze up and an odd pattern will appear all over it. I am unable to do anything, and the only way out of it is a reboot. This happens randomly, anywhere from every 5 minutes, to once every couple weeks. Has ONLY happened when browsing the internet.

2) The screen goes completely black. This has happened to me about 5 times in the last few months, also at random intervals. The computer seems to be running normally (fans going, lights on), and the monitor light is on, but the screen stays black and only a reboot will fix it.

3) Chkdsk has been running on about 2 out of every 3 startups.

4) Only one time in these last couple months, but my computer shut itself down and the power button was blinking orange. Nothing would take it out of this mode, including unplugging it and plugging it back in, for about 12 hours. Worked normally after that.

Some system info:
Dell XPS 710
XP Media Center SP3
Intel Core 2
Nvidia 8800gtx
WD 500GB HD x2
4GB DDR2 ram

This is my first time using one of these forums, please let me know if there is any other info you need. Please Help! Thanks!

What Power Supply you have??? Make/Model
This issue could be related to unsufficient power and could have damaged your graphic card...

You need to check HDD for possible bad sectors.

The one on the desktop looks ok but the one on the lock screen is cropped at the top and bottom.

Any ideas what to do with the one on the lock screen??

The file in question is from a graphic arts firm which sent me a bunch of samples saved as one long .gif file. I want to print it out so I can show the samples to a colleague, but every program I try will only print what will fit on one page. Is there a way to span this large .gif so it will print on several pages?

A:How can I print a very long .gif file without it being cropped?

I would just crop the image into pieces that will fit paper. This freeware will cut it up for you: http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Multimedia_and_Graphics/Misc__Graphics_Tools/Posteriza.html

I've always had a problem with Vista suddenly going haywire with hd activity, which can be quite frustrating if I'm capturing video from my tv tuner, but it's always only lasted a couple of minutes. From what I understand, it's from Vista's new defrag system, which defrags as you go along instead of waiting for it to get all fragmented before doing it (but correct me if I'm mistaken).

Suddenly as of two days ago, though, it's made the computer unusable when it's at its worst. My internal hd will go nuts, then suddenly my external will go nuts. Then it goes back to my internal, and back and forth; meanwhile I can't open any programs because the system resources are completely used up, and this lasts for hours. There are periods when the hd activity stops temporarily, but then it suddenly starts up again, with no open programs. When this happens, WMP takes two or three minutes just to open, and five to start playing something. Firefox just freezes up. I can't open up virtual machines because the system resources are being sucked up. One time I hit Ctrl+Alt+Del, and it went blank for about five minutes before giving me an error message. It's not always that bad, but it's off-and-on becoming worse and worse.

I checked for spyware and viruses and found nothing. I'm extremely reluctant to think that it's a hacker, because it doesn't happen when I boot XP.

Whatever it is, the Task Manager isn't pickin... Read more

I am hoping someone might be able to help me deal with this really nasty virus I'm dealing with. The computer runs Windows XP (and I'm typing now from a different computer).

The other night, I was browsing and chatting on the web. Everything was fine with the computer, and I went to sleep. Then, the next morning, I woke up and opened the computer. I was trying to watch a video, but after about 20 seconds Firefox suddenly closed (I normally use chrome but was on Firefox for compatibility reasons). I tried again, but this time it did the same thing even faster. The next time I tried to open it, a string of about 15 or so error windows popped up (layering like they do to produce a line sloping downward from left to right) telling me that there were errors. Unfortunately, I did not have the presence of mind to write this down, but they had something to do with rundl32.exe.
Since then, here's what I've figured out:

---It disabled task manager, displaying a message to the effect that the admin had disabled the task manager. This is the only thing I've been able to fix, by going into regedit.
---It got rid of most of my files, including all my anti-virus files except for MRT (which may or may not be complicit in this affair) but excluding weird things like Total War
---It disabled search and "my computer," amongst other things. I've found that, by opening up the start menu and right-clicking to "Explore" on one of the few rem... Read more

Alright, I'll try to explain what's been going on in the past half-year.
Coming of June, school's out for the summer. I decide I want to double my RAM so Garry's Mod will run faster. I take the computer downstairs for my step-dad to work on it, and apparently he has to install a new system drive. He does so, I take the computer back upstairs, and apart from the Windows XP installation not validated, it works even better than before. This goes on for a month, when the computer now refuses to let me on unless I validate the installation. While attempting to do so, it goes FUBAR and step-dad has to install another new system drive.
This one works pretty well for a while. Missing sound, I install the drivers and plug in some headphones. Around this time, trouble started.
Programs, among them my web browser (I'll probably have to type the rest of this in Notepad or something) begin crashing for what appears to be no reason, with the error reports blaming random .dll's. Then, while trying to install my favorite first-person shooter, the computer crashes during installation. From then on, most programs have failed to work properly, either crashing themselves or crashing the entire computer. Sending the error reports always got back a message blaming device drivers. When it became obvious drivers I had been missing for most of the past half-year weren't the immediate cause, I began to suspect the sound drivers I installed myself, but I like having s... I use two printers at two locations w/different computers and have the same problem on both. Many (most?) web pages have info on left side of screen that I do not want to print (such as at this web site). When I print the page I get the left side panel and letters or words on the right are cut off which I need to fill in by hand. Some sites offer "printable view", but I don't recall having a problem with that. Probably not.
Is there a way to adjust the page so that all desired text is printed?

Hey! I just registered to this website JUST to ask this question.

I have this custom theme of 121 pictures. I have it set up all how I want and everything. But there is this one thing I can not seem to find. You see, some of my pictures have a high enough resolutions for me to make them "fill" the screen instead of displaying the normal picture. However, some others aren't as high in resolution.

Is there a way I can have specific pictures fill my screen, and/or specific pictures NOT fill my screen in the same theme?

For example, two pictures in a theme. One is 400x800 (Weird res, but first numbers I thought of), the other is 1280x1080. One, I can make fill the theme (1280x1080) without loosing too much quality. However, if the 400x800 fills the screen than the quality goes right up my arse. Is there a way I could set the 1280x1080 to fill the desktop, and the 400x800 one to keep it's original size, making the rest of the screen black?

*NOTE* That was just an example, I have tens of these pictures that would be nice to do this to. Is there a way?

A:Custom Theme Picture cropped and uncropped?

Welcome to the Seven Forums
I do not believe there is a way to do what you are trying to do without maybe a third party program which I am not aware of.
It may be time consuming but using your example using some kind of image editor you could make a 1280 x 1080 black background then place and center your 400 x 800 image on top of the black background then save it and put it in your wallpaper folder (or wherever you have your photos located) then it should do with trying to do.

I have a situation which I cannot fix easily because I have disabled system restore for my system. Safe mode does not help.

My keyboard and mouse are completely unusable after I boot up windows. This happened after I downloaded some drivers from LaCie and tried to install them. I restarted my computer after installing these drivers to find that neither my keyboard or my mouse would work, and nor would seemingly anything I tried to plug into any of my 8 USB ports.

If there is any way for me to fix this problem, please let me know. I have access to the files on this harddrive via Linux Live CDs.

A:Solved: Keyboard and Mouse unusable after boot. Need to uninstall or delete bad drive

What I would love would be for someone to get me a list of the drivers this tries to install.

1) If you could, download from the link I provided above to your Vista machine.
2) Turn on Windows Defender, and make sure you have joined spynet with an advanced membership. This will allow you to deny any changes that the LaCie driver installer tries to make.
3) open the LaCie driver installer and attempt to install the drivers
4) when Windows Defender asks you to permit or deny the changes, note what changes it is asking to make and post them here. I recommend that you deny all, so that it does not mess up your computer.

otherwise, any solutions are appreciated.

I've always used MS Photo Editor (PE) as a quick and easy way to paste cropped images into a document or email. I do a print screen, open PE, Click Edit > Paste As New Image, crop the image to size and then copy the cropped image into a document or email. This used to work well 100% of the time but now, after copying the cropped image and pasting it into a doc or email the entire printed screen will paste, not the cropped image. It's driving me nuts because I use this method a lot. I appreciate any suggestions.

I'm new to the forums, I post this because I get a glitch where tiles get cropped whenever I resize or move one. I've left an image of the problem as an attachment. This only happens with tiles on the borders.

What can be causing this, and how may I fix it? Any help is very appreciated.

A:Graphical tile glitch on Windows 8.1 (tiles get cropped)

The tiles in the 1st column take too much space vertically so windows scrolls all the tiles down. That's what's happening.

Quick solution : drag the big weather tile and drop it on the right (a column of its own). It should work properl now.

In the preview pane to the right it displays images as if a layer of a solid colour has just been thrown over the majority of it. It seems as though it just decides to stop loading the image and use a colour available in it to fill in the rest. The image itself is fine, it's just the way it's being displayed. The only way I have been able to get around this is to open up the file in Paint and save it, which doesn't always work. It's tedious to keep doing this and I was wondering if there was something I could try and do to fix the problem.
I do have OldNewExplorer installed [to allow the details pane to show up at the bottom], however I uninstalled it and still have this issue.
Attached is a file that visualizes the problem that I am having [the selected image is the one displayed on the left in the preview pane], and as you can see the lower half is coloured out.
