How to stop microsoft teams from opening every time I login?

Q: How to stop microsoft teams from opening every time I login?

Every time I login to my PC microsoft teams opens. This started around a week ago. I have it disabled in task manager and have uninstalled it multiple times through control panel and going to C:\Users\(my user)\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft and C:\Users\(my user)\Appdata\Roaming\Microsoft Teams and deleted everything related to it that I could see. Yet it continues to open at startup for whatever reason and seemingly reinstall itself. I have tried scanning with Malwarebytes and Windows Defender to no avail. Restarting does nothing and I have no pending updates in windows update. I never prompted this, and was never even aware that MS Teams existed before this happened. How can I stop this from happening?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

One of our customers are having problems with logging into Teams.
Teams App is installed on a Virtual Machine running Windows Server 2019 Standard.
License used: Office 365 E3
On regular basis some Users are having problems signing into Microsoft Teams and recieve the following Error Screen (it is always the same ErrorCode -80070003)
At the moment we are fixing the problem with uninstalling Teams and reinstalling the APP.
Unfortunately i can not find anything regarding to this specific problem.
Does anyone have any idea why we are having these problems?

On startup I am able to open files and programs. However, after sometime, I cannot open files and programs. I cannot open the files using "Open with." If I keep a program open, it runs fine. I can open folders, though. I thought the EXE association fix would fix it, but it didn't. Any ideas? I am using SP 3.

Each day, the first time I opening 'any' existing Microsoft Works Word Processor file that I have, such as ones I have for phone numbers, addresses, etc., I have to wait about 45 seconds for the file to open. And while I'm waiting, I can't do anything else on the computer. Any of those files I open the rest of the day, open immediately. It's just the first time each day. Any solutions?

A:Delay in opening any Microsoft Works Word file 1st time each day..

Nobody????????????????? else has this problem. Really? All I have to do is google it and get a dozen items show up, all with no solutions from Microsoft whatsoever.

Windows 7, on a Dell XPS, plenty of ram, plenty of hard drive space.

Not a problem with any windows program, on any computer I've had, since 'forever', until now! since I've ran Win 7 onto my computer.

I do a lot of data manipulation between one spreadsheet/ text file and another. Some of the files I have are '.txt' in extension which I open by right clicking and selecting 'Open with Excel'.

Annoyingly, since I got a new pc with Windows 7 on it this results in a new instance of Excel opening instead of using the instance I already have open. So it tells me my personal macro workbook is already in use, I have to select read only to continue, and then the real problem of not being able to refer to the workbook from the workbook I already have open starts. I am usually trying to vlookup one data table to another, but since this problem started I cannot select the other instance of excel in the formula bar and have to manually copy all the data to the workbook of Excel I already have open.

Is there an option or workaround to avoid this? Why would I want to open more than one instance of Excel anyway when I can open multiple workbooks in one instance?

This has never happened before. When I turn on the computer, the two accounts show up (both administrator) but whenever I click either of them, the screen just shows the Windows 7 login screen for a while without any text then sends me back to the account selection. This happens when I select either of the accounts, one of them also has a password but that doesn't show up either.

(also don't know a lot about computers ;-; )

EDIT : When I turned on the computer, it went through updates where it says Starting Windows with the Windows logo. Maybe this helps.

This is quite a confusing story, and the cause for it simply eludes me, but this will be the second time it has happened.

Basically, I was on Youtube through Google Chrome. Shockwave Flash crashed on me (and it is well known that Flash will often crash on Chrome), and when Chrome said I should end the process, I did. To attempt to restart Flash, I exited Chrome and clicked on it again to reopen it. It failed to come up. And so begins my real problem.

I try to open Task Manager through CTRL + Shift + ESC; fails to come up. I try CTRL + ALT + DEL as well; fails to come up. The computer begins to lag like crazy. I can't click on anything without having to wait for at least 5 minutes. I did try patience though, and the menus eventually came up, but still, movement was futile. My plan was to go in and hopefully find the process that was potentially lagging my pc. The strangest thing was that the CPU Usage was fine and barely went above 10-11%, and the Physical Memory was at 21%. So what could be affecting it and making it so slow if the processes are fine?

I then decided to restart my computer. It loaded the windows loading screen fine, but that first time the windows login screen took nearly 10 minutes to come up. When it finally did, I tried to login, it would take me to a black screen with just the mouse pointer in the dead center and nothing else within sight. The mouse was moveable, but there was nothing to click on.

I've tried a variety of solutions, from going into BIOS... Read more

After restart it sometimes does not find the primary harddrive.

The error pops up from time to time. Sometimes from browsing the web, downloading or playing a game. It even pops up while I`m not doing anything at all.

I did a checkdisk and it turned out clean.

Hello Exi and welcome to Sevenforums.

I did not find any crashdumps. Make sure they're enabled.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

* Press Start, in the Search Box type: "sysdm.cpl" (without the quotes), press Enter.
* Select the Advanced tab, click on Startup and Recovery Settings.
* Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
* Under the Write Debugging Information headline select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box.
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK till you're out of the dialogue.
* Reboot if changes have been made.

Copy all the content from %systemroot%\Minidump, zip it all, and upload it.

TLDR: Graphics card and wlan card randomly stop working!!

I've posted this on other forums so far no help . so heres my problem. I use my computer on average 3-10 hours a day. I usually play games or im surfing the net. now sometimes my wlan card and my graphics card just stop working. they both dont appear in the device manager, I cant plug in my monitor through the graphics card coz the screen just stays black, and the wireless internet icon on the bottom right of the windows screen just says "no connections available". Im not 100% on this but it seems like this occurs after playing games for long periods of time im pretty sure the games I play arent too heavy for my system (empire:total war, skyrim etc). I took my pc to the repair shop before and everything was working fine when they tried it. I dont think its a problem with the wlan or graphics card coz sometimes they work perfectly, then suddenly they just stop working. when this happens it usually gets fixed when I wait for a day, open up the pc and clean everything then perform a system restore. I have no idea whats wrong. Is everything compatible? could it be overheating? could the motherboard be faulty? Its very unlikely that both these parts just stop working at the same time.

-Sometimes when the wlan card stops working, the light on the card itself isnt lit up, but sometimes it is.

-These problems dont always occur at the same time.

I am having a problem. Browsers will just randomly open and they won't stop. If I leave for several hours, I come home to find 50 browser windows open. I had the problem with MS Internet Explorer, then I tried making Safari my default browser and it happened with Safari too. So I don't think the problem is IE.

The strange thing is the browsers just open to my hope page. I would assume if it was spyware, the browsers would open to an advertisement. But they just open as if I had clicked the icon to open the browser. I watch them open, one after the other, right in front of me. Sometimes they open faster than I can click them closed. Sometimes its slower, but it also seems to slow the computer way down.

The laptop is a Gateway Model M305CRV, running Windows XP. Any ideas?

A:programms stop opening after a while

What kind of graphics card?

Download and install HijackThis using the "self extractor". Run it and select "do a system scan and save the log file". Then copy/paste the contents of the log to a reply

When the problem manifests itself, do this:

Do ctrl-alt-del to open up the task manager. Select the "performance" tab. Let me know what you see under:

Physical Memory

Total: this is your total installed ram -- "physical" memory
Available: this is the amt of real "physical" memory presently uncommitted

Commit Charge

Total: this is the combination of total physical and virtual memory currently in use
Limit: this is the total physical and virtual memory available
Peak: this is the most you have had in use in this session
Also answer questions 3, 4 and 5 out of this list I use for performance problems:

0 > when did the problem seem to be begin?
1 > is it very slow to boot up?
2 > do programs open slowly?
3 > does the same behavior occur both offline and on?
4 > does it matter how long the system has been on, and does a restart improve things?

Slow performance issues can often be due to overheating, so if the system is faster after it has been shutdown for a while and then restarted -- that would be especially suspect. To check for possible problems here, shutdown, open the case and blow out any accumulated dust. Then turn it
on and check to see that the ... Read more

I tried doing a google search to help fix this issue. Anytime I open iTunes to listen to music, or do anything with it, the program keeps opening itself up, remaximizing itself, I exit it and then it reappears. I have no clue what is going on. This happens when I don't have anything going on with it. Its becoming rather annoying that less than 5 seconds after I minimize it, its pushing itself right in front again. I updated the iTunes Software a few days ago but that's about the only major change I've made to it. And it only started glitching the past day or two.

I remember awhile ago that I installed Spybot S&D and after using it, most of the webpages I used the most wouldn't open at all. I tried opening the pages using different browsers, and doing a google/yahoo search and opening them by clicking the link that they provided. And that still didn't work. I ended up reformating and not useing SB S&D anymore. The reason I am asking is, because I suggested it to one of the people I did some tech work for, but I don't want them to use it before I am sure that it won't do the same thing to them that it seemed to do to me. As about all they do is browse the web with their PC.

A:Does SB S&D stop webpages from opening?

I have and use that program it doesn't block pages unless you set it to block spyware as it is downloaded or something like that. LavaSoft makes a program called AD Aware that is just as good and has a very good free version.

I had to rebuild my system awhile ago. I'm using Windows XP Professional OS.

And even though there are no other users set up in my control panel, I always get a poppup screen asking for a password, etc. at every startup. I never set up a password, so I just hit "Enter" without entering anything....and it goes away and takes me to my desktop.

Always before the rebuild, it just booted straight to my desktop without the aggrevation needless login poppup. I know it is probably very simple to make it quit always doing that, but I can not think of how to just make it go to my desktop anymore.

Would some kind knowledgable person tell me how to make it not stop and show that uneeded login at restart again, please?

@mrjoe9? There are several ways to get into Safe Mode in Windows 8.x This article explains the different methods generally available. If the system is stable, consider adding Safe Mode to the boot screen:Boot Screen >  How to Add "Safe Mode" to Windows Boot Manager in Windows 8 and 8.1  Reference:Windows Features - Quick Tour Section:Boot / Startup Options for Windows x and Windows 10 When you see a Post that helps you,Inspires you, provides fresh insight,Or teaches you something new,Click the "Thumbs Up" on that Post. Fixed / Answered?
