Windows bad exception error

Q: Windows bad exception error

hello all,
I have a fully patched Windows Vista 32-bit computer with ESET Smart Security, malware bites paid, Emisoft anti-malware as my security programs. When I tried to run http://jeremy.wisconsinbroadcasting.com/alternativechicago/index.html listen live, I get a Windows bad image error "exception processing message 0X see 000007 b parameters 0X760D91B0 0D91 B0 and the same error a second time after that. Doesn't honestly matter if I reformat the computer from scratch, the error always happens after I install Windows service pack two and the updates. running all the security programs and scan in safe mode comes up empty with no infections. I'm honestly at a loss at what to do-because I really do want to keep reformatting the machine and only getting up to that error.

the only program I really need is my Dragon NaturallySpeaking to speak into the computer and the contents display on the screen.

is my poor computer too far gone?thanks for any help

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I have Lenevo T450 Laptop - Intel Core i5-5200 CPU @ 2.20 GHz, with 8 GB RAM and I have been getting BSOD often. Additional configuration are given below:

Motherboard: ACPI\PNP0C02

I have already ran Windows Memory Diagnostics and no issues have been detected.

I have ran CHKDSK and no hard disk issues have been found.

The BIOS configuration is default and no overclocking or changes in configuration are made.

I have used the BlueScreenView software as well to analyze the reasons and the output along with the Dump File & System Configuration (SYSDATA) can be accessed at:

I have looked up various forums for HAL.DLL related issues, I have updated all drivers, Windows 7 is upto date.

My HAL.DLL was last updated on 11/20/2010 - 10:24 PM with file version : 6.1.7601.17514

Please advise what could be an issue here?

I have the same Service Exception Error 0x0000003B. It's driving me nuts. I went from Vista 32 bit which worked perfect on my machine and then decided to do a clean install with Vista 64 Bit Home Premium with Service Pack 2 and it isn't working right at all. It installs fine and then once I log on to windows within 5 minutes the blue screen comes up. I had four dual channel memory sticks installed totalling 8 GBS. I was told to remove two sticks and try to do a clean install. Still same error. I have tried to install it five times with the same problem. Does anyone know what to do?

Working with a friend on a windows 98 SE computer.

It was on when I got there. the screen was froze and Ctrl Alt Delete woulld close it so I had to turn it off at the tower. Turned it back on and it is loading super slow. It hung up two times and mouse wouldnot move Ctrl Alt delete wouldnot work so I turned off at tower again and started it and went to safe mode and it worked it safe mode. I cleaned the temp filesm cookiesm history in safe mode and took a HJT log. Ran spybot, adware without updates, (but arre updated every month) I got it updated later. Anyway, ran spybot and adware in safe mode and they are clean.

When the machine first started freezing in normal mode it would not show up anything in the tray where all the things that startup should be such as his McAfee and other things. After I was in safe mode I click on the McAfee and it popped up then in the tray. So when I was done in safemode and went back and tried normal mode it then loaded everything in the tray and it all started working. However, the mouse was very erratic would not move right away when I moved it and just erratic. Everything was very slow.I then got on the internet and updated spybot, adware, spyblaster and again spybot and adware are clean. He also has IE-Spyad, Script defender, and spywareguard.

I guess a fatal exception error came up on him a few days ago and of course he didn't write it down. It came up again and I wrote it down in a hurry so I think this is right. it is

For a long time now i have been getting BSOD's, pretty much all of the time from System Service Exception and KMode Exception Not Handled. Sometimes the PC never gets to the BSOD and just freezes up and restarts. This happens at any time whether im doing nothing or on the internet, sometimes it happens before the PC can load up fully. Most of the time though it happens when i am gaming. I rebuilt most of my PC but this still carried on. The parts that i have replaces are the PSU, RAM, Graphics Card and the case as well as adding in 2 extra fans. The temperature stays withing good values. The PC also often gets stuck on the post boot screen where it says "SMART Check Capable and OK" and it will take a few minutes for it to get past this stage and carry on loading, but this doesnt happen not all the time. I have tried diagnosing this myself but i have hit a wall. I ran Seatools and the HDD failed all of the tests, however after checking the fail code this was simply because it couldnt find the serial number. The HDD then passed tests from both CrystalDiskInfo and DiskCheckup. I thought that it was either the HDD or the MB as they are the only components not to be replaced. Since HDD seems to have passed its SMART tests i am inclined to believe it is the MB. PLEASE HELP!!!

You need to download a good Spyware and Trojan Removal program.

Spybot Search and Destroy:

This will also protect your home page from being hijacked.

With any of the above three programs, just like with Anti-Virus software, should have the latest updates installed before doing a scan.

Programs that can help prevent getting infected:

Spyware Blaster

Spyware Guard

Also run MSCONFIG and remove any reference to it there. From what I understand it is related to the Look2Me parasite

Not sure if I should post this on here or on Windows 98 or not. Anyway, last nite I went to a puzzle web site. I was doing a free puzzle there. In the middle of the puzzel I got an OE Exception error. I didn't write down the error. I hit return then the screen went blank. Then I reboot the machine I have a virus software that automatically checks for viruses and there were no viruses. I have an 5 year old Blackice version I download it from a non-blackice homepage. I wonder if I need a new firewall or not. I'm thinking the Exception error was because maybe the site is bad or something. Any help or suggestion? Hope this make sense. Thanks.

I keep getting Exception Code 3221225477 with Exception Address 005019A9 on my computer when I start it up and sometimes during my use of the computer.
It just started up after I put a cannon camera photostitch program on my computer. I have deleted. Then I did all the updateds that were needed plus cleaning out my computer(defragmenting, disk clean up, removing temporary files).
I even went in and stopped programs from starting up when I turn on my computer to make it faster and to see if it was one of them that was causing the problem. It still keeps coming up. Does anyone know why this happens?

My message comes up as

Unexpected Error
An Unexpected error has occured and this application will close. Then the exception code and exception address follows.
Exception Code 3221225477 Exception Address 005019A9

But when I click on ok nothing closes and I can work on my computer. Then sometimes during the course of working on the computer, the message comes up again but again nothing closes.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any replies.

A:Exception Code 3221225477 Exception Address 005019A9

My guess is that there is a Startup entry which you need to remove. Some remain behind even when a given program may thought to have been completely uninstalled.I'd use AutoRuns for Windows - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinte...s/bb963902.aspx to take a look at the items listed on the Logon tab and see if any apparently relate to your troublesome program. If so, I would delete it, but you can either disable or delete that startup item.Louis

Hi Guys,

I'm a composer working on a deadline and have started to experience quite intermittent BSOD's.
It appears to happen at higher system loads.
I'm reasonably experienced in building custom machines (this is my third on), and so far have never experienced issues with them.
This current one is a racked i7 3930K Hexacore on a Sabertooth x79, with 32gb of Ramm and a GTX470.
I'm using Nuendo 6 in 64 bit mode (Cubase's bigger brother) with an RME Fireface 800.
The fireface runs via firewire and has its own pcie card for this.
In addition there is an external G-tech drive connected via Esata.

In the last week I've been having 1-3 bsod's a day..a real productivity killer and I hope someone can help me out. I've used Whocrashed to at least get an indication of what it might be, but I don't have much experience with minidumps.

The only thing that I have noticed is that Windows is attempting a surface scan during startup, which fails due to a 'recently installed software package' I have no idea what that might be.
I've not been able to do a diskchk on C:
Regardless, C: seems to work fine and I've not noticed any issues.

Drivers are pretty much up to date.

I'm attaching a dump, would someone mind having a look and giving me a clue? Thanks in advance!

I need some help. My fiance does most of the computer stuff for us, but he's at boot camp right now. When I open a second(or third, or fourth) window in IE and then try to close it, I get a grey error box that reads "Extended Exception Error"
There's a space underneath that reads Module: ____ but then is blank.
Then underneath it says UNICODE v.4,0,4,1
Under all that is a seperate box that has a bunch of jibberish in it.

If I close it out, then my IE restarts and I lose all my browser windows. If I unclick the "restart Internet Explorer" button, then EVERYTHING closes out.

Can anyone help me?? I have Windows XP Home Edition.

I'm running Windows 2000 pro.
Over the last 5 days I did so much to the computer that it's hard for me to remember everything but I'll try to be as brief yet accurate as possible. It all started while playing civ4. I would play for awhile and then a blue screen would appear. I pretty much ignored it and rebooted. I really can't tell you what the error was, since I was very anxious to continue the game.

I then decided to defrag c and d drives. The game still gave the blue screen but gave me more play time before it came up. Again I ignored the error message.

I then did a chkdisk in safemode and left it to run overnight. The next morning I noticed the computer rebooted (still in safe mode) (not sure if that's significant). I now noticed programs like msconfig took forever to load up and once it came up I noticed almost everything was unchecked. Which means almost nothing loaded up including

We had some problems last week and ended up by reinstalling our Office 2007.

This week we are getting the following message when we start up the computer

Windows no disk - exception processing message
C0000013 parameters
75b6bf7c4 75b6bf7c 75b6bf7c

After clicking on ignore or close a couple of times - it goes away and the computer seems to work OK

Any idea what the problem is - and then - how to fix it?

Thank you

You guys Rock

I got a blue fatal error screen, the message was
an fatal exception error has occured at 018F:BFF9DFFF. This happens once or twice almost everynight while I am using the internet. Can anyone help me with this and tell me what I can do about it?

A:Re: Fatal Exception Error

Does it not mention any file names?
Thats odd to have a message as short as that.

I am receiving an error when loading parts of DipTrace as follows - "Exception EAccessViolation in module PCB.exe at 0000000000DB415C Access violation at address 000000000011B415C in module 'PCB.exe'. Read of address 00000000000". I have tried everything I can find but no fix. I upgraded to Windows 10 pro but I had the same error as with Windows 7 pro. I am now back to Window s 7. I have tried the DipTrace forum with no fix. I have uninstalled the program and reinstalled three times. I have installed it in a different location. I have disabled my virus scanner (bitdefender) and I have also tried Windows defender. Running the program as administrator did not work. I have searched the internet and noticed the problem also occurs with other software but could not find a fix for DipTrace. Has anybody come across this error?

I have both Paint Shop Pro X6 and X7 installed on my computer. Today I started getting an unhandled exception error when trying to start PSP X7 either 64 or 32 bit reacts the same. This hasn't happened to me before and PSP X6 is working fine.

I tried to follow along with Microsoft on this error but got lost very quickly...lol. I'm not very technical for sure. I have attached a screen capture of the error/.

I will be forever grateful if someone can help me.

Thank you in advance

Why would you have both of those programs installed at the same time? Does each version have different features that you may need?

Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall the program?

What version of Windows are you running? Windows 8? Windows 8.1?

Have you tried right clicking on the program and click "Run as Administrator"? Sometimes that will cause programs not to run correctly if you don't run as administrator. Also try to run it in compatibility mode for Windows 7.

Is the program compatible with windows 8/8.1?

Recently, I've noticed a few programs have been throwing up errors like this one (Google Earth, for example). Skype also does it, but launches and works fine, Google Earth does not however.
I've tried running sfc /scannow but it didn't work. and I can't use an installation disk, as I upgraded to 8 from 7 using the Upgrade Wizard and don't have one.
What can I do?

I have an Averatec 7115 EH1 Laptop. Recently I had to reload Windows XP. Now I get the following error when I try to play World of Warcraft:

I am missing the following drivers, which don't really effect anything I can see:
1. Ethernet Controller (internal) (I am using a PCMCIA card)
2. Other PCI Bridge Devicce
3. SM Bus Controller
4. Game Port for ESS (is working properly, but Driver Detective says it is out f date). I tried to load the latest driver for this one, but got errors saying the adapters for this device were not supported.

Averatec offers no support except to send them my laptop for re-imaging and $95 + s/h.

I used a Utility called "Dependency Walker" and looked at Explorer.EXE on two systems (one that works, the other that didn't). Discovered three dependency files that are'nt the same size: ComCtl32.DLL, Ole32.DLL, & Shell32.DLL . Wanted to copy these files, over to the "bad" PC, as you probably know, the files are active and they won't overwrite. How do I go about getting these files copied over? I created a bat-file to copy the files (in question). I've put a call to it in the "RunOnce" registry (not sure if I did it correctly, though). I've put a call to it in Autoexec.NT. From one of these methods, I did see a DOS screen flash. But, I think the DLLs were active and still didn't copy. Dependency Walker still shows the discrepancy. The million dollar question....where and how do I put the call to the "fix_it.bat"-file (that I created) to execute before the O/S loads. There has to be a way, because the Service Pack upgrades do it similarly.

Some History: Problem started out being, if I double-clicked on "My Computer"... nothing displayed. No drives, no control panel, no nothing. Double-clicked on IExplorer, it wouldn't successfully load the default Homepage. However, I can pull up some sites, I hard-balled in. Won't go out through the autoproxy, though. Proxy is set up correctly (I checked).

No problem....Tried repair on IE 5.5 (no change). Uninstalled IE 5.5, TRIED to reinstall....... Read more
