Q: Yoga 2 (20344) - 100% disk usage

have a yoga2, model 20344; often have problem of win10 startup showing 100% disk useage; does lenovo have any step by step (am not a techie) troubleshooting, solutions guide...am not keen on messing with registry without some handholding by knowledgeable, consumer friendly party ... nyt has a column feb, 2018 on this issue, but am concerned about taking action suggested there without lenovo support focused on lenovo product

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

A while back I had wireless mouse plug in the right hand USB hub. While in my laptop bag, the plastic piece broke off and the prongs were bent. Since then that hub has not worked. Yesterday I went to plug in my Yoga and accidentally tried to insert it into the same USB hub. Now the laptop will not power on. The charge light is light when plugged in, but it will not power on with or without being plugged in. The light on the power button comes on for about 4 seconds than shuts off. No sounds from the laptop or lights on the keyboard during that time. It is out of warranty by almost a year. Any suggestions?

I just got my Yoga 2, and I am really enjoying it, however, I am running into a contant problem of the WiFi connection going 'limited' when connected to the network.  I never lose WiFi connection. I have updated my driver to the latest version available on the support site (17.0.0.34), and disabled the power managment for the WiFi, as many other posts have suggested. None of my other devices are having issues.  My router is an Apple Time Capsule.

Hey y'all.  My baby's sick, and I am out of ideas about what might help. I'm a hair away from giving up.  Roughly a week ago it started doing a couple small, kinda weird things. The buzzer connected to the windows button below the display started buzzing when pressure was exerted on other parts of the laptop; if I lifted it by the palm rest to the side of the trackpad, for example. The other is that I could not reduce the screen brightness. The option was unavailable in battery saver settings (win10) and the slider in the full display settings did nothing. Maybe a full day after these symptoms appeared, it just...stopped. I used it, closed the lid, than maybe an hour later I returned to it and it did nothing. Well, next to nothing. When I press power or the lenovo button, the white light comes on, solid, for about 4 seconds, than turns off. Its not a blink, because it doesnt repeat. If its plugged in, the heatsink and fan exhaust get extremely hot very rapidly. No other response is apparent. I've taken it apart looking for loose or broken connections, capacitors, obvious shorts, and everything looks fine. I was going to reflash bios but it doesnt  boot enough to do that....  ... She's effed, isn't she?

I am not getting anything on the display. I can turn on the computer via battery power and while plugged in, but nothing shows on the display. I even tried disconnecting the battery and turning it on without the battery plugged in.... same result. I can turn on/off the keyboard backlight, but caps lock does not do anything.I have tried resetting the bios by disconnecting the bios battery (this model had to be soldered off then back onto the motherboard) and system battery then holding the power button for about 60 seconds. Didn't make any difference.I also tried connecting to a TV through teh HDMI output to see if any video came through. NoWhen the machine is plugged in I can unplug it/plug it in and it gives a beep that sounds like a bios POST beep....Any suggestions would be greatly appreciatedThanks

I have a Yoga2 13 model 20344 that will not boot up at all. The keyboard will light up and let me toggle the backlight on and off but the caps light will not turn on. I thought this was a bios error issue so I took the back off, disconnected the battery and desoldered a leg of the bios battery to default the bios... didn't do anything. I tried disconnecting everything except the keyboard, battery and display to test if another component was shorting out and still no change. I also tried hooking up the HDMI to an external monitor and it didn't work (I knew it wouldn't, but tried it anyway). No sounds are made by the computer at all.... I am thinking it is a bad motherboard but am open to any other suggestions.Thanks in advance

I can not believe how many issues I have found online with the Yoga 2.  Whatever, it's faulty.  That's no longer to be decided - however - I am in need of the actual Touchscreen Driver.  Nowhere on this site have I been able to find the Touchscreen driver - ONLY the touchpad driver.  The Display driver did not appear to have a sub driver containing the touchscreen...and since Lenovo doesn't offer live chat I am stuck here on these forums looking for a driver for something that should be readily available considering all of the touchscreen issues this thing seems to have.  The touchscreen simply does not work, and in DevMgmt it says the driver is missing.  So, I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get this thing working. Thanks.

so i have had a problem with my yoga 2 13 for quite awhile now. Recently it has got worse to the point i cant see anything on my screen. All i see are little blotch spots on my screen, a black screen, or lines running across the whole screen. I have installed drivers from Driver and utilities section on this website and nothing has worked for me. I have changed settings in the comp that i have read about in other forums and nothing. I know this isn't the newest model, but I just purchased it new (on offer) by mid 2015, so I just have it for a good 2 years! I don't see it on the list of affected models, while it CLEARLY IS affected. Will we see a BIOS update to target the Spectre vulnerability? I have always taken Lenovo for giving good support for their hardware. Surely I will have to consider a different brand, if I cannot count on security updates for hardware just a little over 2 years old. (I'm taking suggestions as to which manufacturer is giving better support). At least put all models affected on the list, and just admit that they will not receive an update. So at least we know what we can expect!

I've looked at message boards with varying answers. Also, I'm not super tech savvy and can't afford (literally) to mess this up, so I came to the braintrust for a definitive answer. I want to upgrade my hard drive space on my Yoga 2 13 (currently has 128 GB SSD and 8 GB memory)I've read that there is an extra slot for another HD, is that true?If so, what type of slot is it?  M.2 or mSATA or what?How many GBs can I upgrade to?  I've read anywhere from 128 to 500+ are okay.Any brands and models that are known to work?TIA to anyone who can help!

Hi Everyone, I'm at my wits end and was hoping someone might be able to help me understand what exactly I need to do, purchase to bring my laptop back to life. Long story short, I have had this for just over 2 years, no more warranty and the hard drive I believe is going out/has gone out. It all started with a failed windows 10 upgrade, kept looping, finally I blew away I guess everything on it. Now when I am trying to re-instal windows 8.1 it tells me that it cannot because the hard disk may fail soon. I can get mostly through the windows setup but it always ends up failing. My question is, can someone help me identify what exactly needs to be replaced? I am fairly tech savy good at following directions and installing things by myself. (garbage disposals, haha). What I am not good at is trying to track down what hard drive to buy would be? I hate to bring it to best buy as its $200 just for a diagnosis and then whatever to fix it on top of that.  Can anyone offer insight and help me become enlightened? Thanks so much, L

Hello, As the Title suggests, I am not able to turn on my Lenovo Yoga 2 13.When I try to turn on the Laptop, the White Light on the power button comes up for 6 Seconds and then goes off. Keyboard lights do not turn on, & the same effect with pressing the Novo recovery key.The battery does charge (The lights change according to the charge levels.) Things that I have tried so far: 1) Remove the power cable and press the power button for 30 Seconds, 60 Seconds, & 90 Seconds. No Effect. 2) Open up the backside, remove the battery cable (and battery), remove the power cable, and power discharge by pressing the power button. Turn on the laptop using just the Power cable. No Effect. 3) Remove the heatsink, clean it and then reapply the Thermal paste. No Effect. 4) Remove the hard disk and then try turning on. No Effect.  Despite trying all these steps, the effect is still the same. I honestly do not ahve any idea what to do now. Can anyone suggest something?  Any help would be appreciated!Thank You!

I've recently (13th of April) bought new Yoga 530-14IKB. It has adequate CPU i3-8130U, which is faster than i5-6200U in my sister's Acer laptop, but I anyway don't play any games. Despite that, its battery life isn't good. It works about 3-3,5 hours in Chrome. In task manager I've noticed that Yoga Mode Control is constantly using 15-30% CPU and its battery usage is described as very high. After disabling it, I can't switch to the tablet mode and keyboard and touchpad don't turn off. Is there somebody who has Yoga laptop and experience similar problem?

Hello All, I have an issue with my YOGA 700 laptop when logged in multiple accounts simultaneously. Whenever an account is left logged on and the user is switched as opposed to logging off, the cpu usage ramps up very high with several RUNDLL32 processes being the culprit. I have checked the RUNDLL32 processes with Process Explorer and the command line are as follows:C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe C:\ProgramData\LenovoTransition\Server\x64\EnableAutoRotation.dll,RunCustomMonitor The directory is as follows: C:\ProgramData\LenovoTransition\Server\x64\ The only solution I have found is restarting the laptop. The problems comes back when again more than one user is logged in. Also, the rundll32 processes only run high cpu on one account at a time and there doesn't seem to be a preference for a specific account, all of them are plagued one at a time with the problem. Disabling the Yoga Mode Control service is a fix but that breaks the mode control which is essential in this laptop. I have tried installing all the available software on the Software page foor the YOGA 700. The rundll32 processes drain the battery very fast and I can't always log off other users when they have apps open!  I have posted a screenshot of process explorer showing 2 rundll32.exe processes using 25% cpu usage each. Hi guys, hope you can help me please. I'm not too computer savvy so sorry if I'm missing something important or I say something dumb. I'm really frustrated and I'm trying my best to learn and solve this problem.
So I bought this Vaio with Core i5-3210M, 4Gb Ram, Windows 8 64 bit. I had really high hopes for it, coming from an i3. For the first few weeks it worked fine, but then it started to freeze while watching movies. Then it started happening all the time, and the cooling fan became consistently noisy for working at full capacity.
I was used to opening task manager on older systems when this happened to see if there was a non-responding program and force it closed, so I noticed Task Manager offers some more features in Win 8. Here, I see that CPU usage is high, staying always around 70% and from time to time reaching 100. At this moment, the process taking the biggest slice is called VCS System Tray with 58%.
What's perhaps more concerning, is that Disk usage is almost constantly on 100%. And by this I mean it reaches 100 and stays there for long periods of time, perhaps up to 20 minutes, then it falls down a few seconds and up again to 100. During this time the computer is excruciatingly painful to use. To even open a program takes forever. When this happens, it seems that Chrome is at the top of the list of processes with most disk usage, with about 1-2Mbps, but this sometimes changes and the list can be led by System, Utorrent, Octoshape, VCS System Tray, Communication... Every 10-40 minutes, the application I'm currently working in [whither it be skype, L4D2, or firefox] becomes unresponsive, and after a minute or two, the window turns white, notifying me that it's not responding. This unresponsiveness quickly spreads to other open processes, rendering them frozen as well. I can still use the mouse, and it appears rainmeter still responds [updates, showing barely any CPU usage].

Steps I've taken to try and resolve this:
Using only one main program, still does it
turning the computer off and on again
Memtest is clean
chkdisk passes
MBAM/MSE scans return nothing
defragged
no memory overflows that I can see

While troubleshooting, I noticed that during the 'fit of unresponsiveness' the disk usage light on my tower is solid, but when I looked at the disk usage in the resource monitor, no processes whatsoever were using it [screenshot related]

If any more specifications are needed, I'll be happy to elaborate.

hey all! ever since i upgraded my laptop's win8 to win10 im getting these usages... and the machine is runnig REALLY SLOW....
i saw that it's a common problem so i looked up some solutions and tried the following:

1- i changed the registry - ?HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management? and changed ?ClearPageFileAtShutDown? value to 1
2- adjusted windows 10 to "best performance" in system settings
3- i disabled many startup programs
4- i defragemented the C drive
5- uninstalled all the programs that i could
6- I disabled "Show me tips about Windows"
7- changed the power settings profile

NONE OF THOSE WORKED. PLEASE HELP!

Hello,Here is the problem i recently bought an L460 with an hdd 500go but i decided to go for an ssd sandisk plus 120Go, i've installed windows 10 pro N and all the drivers needed with the Lenovo Service Bridge, but somehow ma computer crash after some time using it a have a blue screen and it reboot and don't recognize the ssd, i've looked at the performance and there are spikes of disk usage at 100% before computer freeze , i've tried many things it seems that the sata driver is having trouble, can someone help me ? Germain

My laptop (Lenovo Y500 Laptop | Lenovo US) has a 1TB 5400rpm hard drive C: and it also has a 24GB chached SSD D:. The link only shows a 16, but mine was 24. Today, I left my computer idle while I was at class (I'm in college) and when I came back it was frozen on the start up screen Lenovo Logo. As customary with computer problems, I turned it off and turned it on again. It booted up fine, maybe the tiniest bit slow, but nothing really different from the norm. But, when I opened up Chrome, my entire computer froze up after about five seconds, and I had to force shut down. This happened about 10 times (not just with Chrome, but with explorer and Task Manager too). Weird thing is, I only got one BSOD, for MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. When it magically started up without immediately freezing after the first click, I scanned for viruses--nothing changed. I CCleaned the temp files and registry--still nothing. I checked for fragmentation--0% fragmented. Once I finally got Task Manager open, I started thoroughly checking all the tabs. Here's what I found:

See how Disk 1 has C: AND D: ? I'm 100% sure that D: used to be on Disk 0. After some more freezing and rebooting, I discovered that Disk 1 maxes out active time to 100% really, really easily. Average response time maxed over 1000. Actually, I'm surprised my computer hasn't frozen since I started typing this post. It's that bad.

I am encountering a problem that is crippling my laptop. Over the past weekend I have been expierencing my laptop coming down to a standstill in processes it takes nearly two minutes to open up a page on chrome and running a game... forget about it. When I open up task manager it shows that 100% of my disk is being used but when I look at the processes using it all I see is System 0.1 MB/s. When i go into the performance tab of task manager and click on disk it reads:

Average Response Time: 0 ms then it spikes to a random # in the thosands
Read Speed: 0 KB/s (Like the Response time it jumps around)
Write Speed: 0 KB/s (Same as above)

Exactly the same problem - Acer Aspire One.
I was having performance problems and ran chkdsk which found some bad clusters. Next thing I know, I restart and Windows won't come up. I could get a cmd prompt going and copied out my files and reset the system. Still nothing. Finally got it going by turning it on and plugging in a recovery flash drive. Completely reinistalled 8.0. Installed 126 updates. Installed 8.1. Installed 26 updates. And now I'm smack in the 100% disk usage.
Tried setting Virtual Memory, which was small.

i have constantly had an issue where my cpu is running way too high and makes my laptop pretty much useless with no processes showing high usage. im running windows 10, this happens when i stop certain services with no change, also when i use windows 10 lite. im using an ssd and have the a9 8gb model, this problem does not exsist when i install windows 7 and the laptop is very fast all round, but then i cant get the correct drivers for my touch screen etc. any help would be great as ive given up lol.. also it says my base cpu is 2.5 up to 2.9 but it should be 2.9 up to 3.5. so im very confused

HiI frequently experience high CPU usage on my Yoga 710 (with Windows 10).Using Process Explorer I see that the processes hogging the CPU are rundll32 which are running the dll called EnableAutoRotation.dll from Lenovo.My Lenovo software is up to date.See screen shots:?? Any idea how to fix this issue? Do an idle test
Click start type msconfig -> start up -> disable all reboot
You will have disabled all programs that start up with your pc open task manager and see if the cpu speed has dropped
 
If it has open msconfig again and turn on your firewall and av then reboot check turn on a few more check etc etc
Be warned that after the first disable all and reboot you will have disabled your firewall and av so don?t download or goto unknown web pages but it should be ok for a 2 min test

I'm having a bit of trouble with Windows 8 on my laptop (I've named my laptop Romulus for future reference in this thread). First off, let me give you a brief history on Romulus' journey thus far:

1.) Bought pre-built from ACER with Windows 8 64-bit installed.
2.) After playing around with it for a bit, I formatted the C drive (deleting all partitions) and installed Windows 7.
3.) Hoping to test out the new Windows 8.1, I reinstalled Windows 8 (a clean install from Microsoft this time... not the original bundled version from ACER). I have yet to install 8.1.

This is where I've noticed a few problems. Specifically, my CPU and Disk usage keep spiking to 100% for no apparent reason. Literally right after booting Romulus, before running any programs/apps, I see these spikes. I boot up, go straight to the desktop, fire up Task Manager, and watch sadly as the performance graphs tease me with those tall lines. The CPU spikes only last for a second or two and usage generally stays pretty low, but I'd still like to know why it's jumping like that. Disk usage spikes to 99-100% more frequently and stays there a bit longer. I've noticed perhaps very slight performance problems and some mouse lag, but I haven't been able to prove a correlation here.

Regarding drivers, these problems arose without any drivers installed (straight Windows 8 installation). Thinking the obvious, I installed all of Romulus' drivers listed on the ACER web page for this model, but the problems persist... Read more

Couple of ideas till the brains show up with better ideas :-) Find and shut off indexing and see if it stops. If not go to task manager and shut down running items one at a time and see what happens.

16g ram, 4k 910 runs very loudly. The usage is below 30%.  I have tried to update the BIOS but the system said I don't need to. There are many many complains on this and I hope someone would to solve this.

As the title suggests, the CPU usage of this laptop goes very high when it is plugged in. This results in high CPU temperatures and surface temperatuers and the fan becoming very noisy, despite no programmes being open in windows. It is extremely annoying and simply burning out the laptop and it's power supply. I could not find a solution. I have a suspicion that due to charging, laptop creates heat in some components (VRM etc), this is magnified by Rapid Charging, therefore the fans must run during charging to dissipate heat.I suspect the fans' running voltage is linked to the CPU load, so the only way for the fans to run faster to dissipate charging heat is by running the CPU at higher voltage/frequency, which in turn creates even more heat. Perhaps a simple fix would be to give an option to turn off Rapid Charging, as to reduce heat, in Lenovo Vantage. The CPU management is terrible on this laptop. I don't know if it is Intel's DPTF drivers or Lenovo's firmware, but the battery would die very quickly. I disabled Turbo Boost on battery mode and the battery life almost doubled.  I am quite dissapointed with many aspects of this laptop. There has been no update in a long time and I think there are quite a few things to fix.  Don't just fix this in the Yoga 930. You need to look after your current customers as well. PLEASE LOOK INTO THIS AND WORK ON A FIX. This laptop is so close to perfect... Thank you.

Hey, I'm experiencing pretty high CPU usage when using Skype or Google hangouts (20-40%). When using my webcam, my laptop gets extremely hot. Also, my "system and compressed memory" uses 10-20% at the same time. The fan runs constantly. I'm running the most recent webcam drivers (6.3.9600.11103),  intel 520 drivers (20.19.15.4404) graphics. Bios C6CN37WW. My power setting is set to balanced. It used to be high performance but i reduced it hoping that it would help my issue. Has anyone experienced this issue before? Screenshot  Thank you!

Hello, I have Yoga 3 11 with Core M proceesor. Recently I observed high temperatures o CPU when I just surf the internet, watch a youtube etc. Temperature goes up to 85-90 C degree. Its very hot touch, in the processor area. In task meneger I didnt see any suspicous things, CPU usage is normal. From time to time I use Throttle Stop to prevent BDPROHOT throttling cpu clock to 500 MHz but even with throttle, temp are high. What is the case? I have Windows 10 with FCU update.

Hi Everyone, I have a Lenovo Yoga 900 and I absolutely love it! Unfortunately after 2 years of using it  died and I could never turn it on again (Feb) I tried taking the battery off, plug it in , and press the ON bottom but nothing. I put back the battery and again nothing. Could it be possible that the motherboard is dead and if so how much will it be to replace it? Is it normal that computers like this die after 2 years of usage? I was expecting at least a 4 year range of usage for the amount of $$ invested in the computer. I want to get the same computer but now I have my doubts if it will die on me after 2 years or what caused the motherboard to die so suddenly. Any help is welcome!

This machine was manufactured on the 27th of November, 2017. So..I'm in a conundrum where I'm going to send off my Yoga 920 to be fixed again or have components potentially replaced. It takes roughly 2hrs to charge from 0% to 100%. Unsure whether downscaling from 4K to FHD makes a difference. The battery once the charger has been removed is set to Battery Saver mode using 10% Screen Brightness lasts about 2 hours or less usage watching streaming video, ms office applications, file managments etc.Using 100% Brightness non-battery saver mode which is less then optimal in my room + lighting condition = 1 hour tops I think roughly.Lenovo Vantage previously reported my Battery only capable of storing roughly 40-50% of it's given capacity (Yellow Font "Fair").  Just gonna also ask if anyone has had an average of 50C+ (hits 60-80C) thermals i7 8550u, I would like to have lower operating temperatures since my first/last geniune laptop which was a Z460 and it didn't have too great of a battery life either. I have tried unvolting in XTU and that was no bueno too. Edited*Kind upset with the battery life as you could tell. I was optimistic in my expectations that this machine may survive me 2-3 years with ongoing usage however  I'd rather not make this a Fake Desktop and charge it constantly. Kinda upset with a 1300+GBP investment. Kingsley.

Hello everyone, im new to this website so i apologize if im in the wrong place. My disk usage is at 99% to 100% all the time, and i am unsure how to find out what the problem is and fix it.

A week ago I did a completely fresh install of Windows 8 64 bit and everything was working great. When I booted up my laptop on Wednesday I noticed it was running terribly slow. When I opened task manager I saw that disk usage was at 100% despite the combined total of data transfer being 0.8MB/s.

The problem occurs constantly if I set my laptop power mode to balanced but only occurs intermittently at high performance. I've run a chkdsk and everything is showing up fine and bizarrely there is no slowdown whatsoever on safe mode.

Any idea what I may have done wrong?

Can you id the process that is doing it. Look into Resource Monitor > Disk tab.

Hey, my computer has had 100% disk usage after i used windows repair (all in one).
I tried restoring to older restore point, but it didn't help.
The disk usage is always 100% when i start up or start off sleep mode.

Does disk usage go down after a period of time?
Check the Task Manager to identify the process causing the high disk usage.

I have Processor Intel i5 and 8Gb Ram.
but still My disk usage is going 100% At Startup
And at the time of opening Software Like Photoshop,Lightroom,Antivirus.
Is this Normal ?
Or else its a big issue
please Help Me Speed My Pc.

As the title says my pc is bugged with the 100% disk usage issue.

The things I've tried so far are:
1. Disable BITS, Superfetch and Windows search services. Although BITS seems to gets enabled back on its own after a while.
2. Performed a chkdsk /f/r to fix the system errors.
3. Switched windows updates from automatic to manual (not sure if that helps much).

I've read through some other threads but could not find the correct solution. Is there something else that I'm missing which could possibly fix the issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated...

Welcome to the forum. If you open task manager click at the top of disk it will sort it into order so you can then see what's using the disk it can be a short term thing while it builds it's index

i am facing 100% disk usage even when the laptop is idlechecked it with the hp hardware diagnostics tool,everything seems fineand if i update win 10 to the latest it's more issue with it thete, so i had to format it and use an older version.

My disk usage always goes to 100% because of this process "wsappx" with a very high disk usage at startup with  10-30+ mb/s but after 10-15 minutes it lowers down to 0 mb/s and then after a few minutes it goes up again.

 That file's not part of Windows 7.  However you neglected to mention what version you're running or the make and model of your computer.  You could run Malwarebytes and your antivirus program in Safe Mode if you don't know what this thing is.

Few things you can check:
go to: C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Search\Data\Applications\Windows and look for the file
Windows.edb and check the size of this file. This is a database file associated with Windows Search feature. If it's too big, sometimes it can grow up to many GB's then it might cause high disk usage when Windows Search trying to rebuild the Search index. You can delete this file but first you need to disable the Windows Search service then re-enable after deletion.Run Task Manager->Startup and disable everything then reboot the PC to see if it fixes the problem then re-enable one by one, reboot until the problem occurs again, then that's the culprit.Run Task Manager->Details, then right click on the Title->Select Columns and put a check on I/O Reads, I/O Writes, I/O read bytes, I/O write bytes then click OK. Click on the Title to sort by I/O Read, I/O Write to find out which process utilizing the Disk I/O most and take appropriate action.

My disk usage is always showing %100 . I stop com.surrogate and its fixed but one day later its still showing %100 but not com.surrogate its just basically showing the higher usage example chrome its using %100 if u close this than just another app become %100. I started anti malware its fixing but when I open computer again its still happening. Anyone know how to solve this?

For the past week or so my computer has begun acting increasingly odd. When opening programs my disk usage will spike up to 100% and my computer will freeze. sometimes I have to restart to be able to use it again. I've tried several things such as anti-malware and messing with executables that exacerbate disk usage. none of these things has helped

One thing you can try in order to fix the 100% Disk Usage is to disable Superfetch (if you're using Windows 8 or 10). In order to do that you can follow the steps in this article:

If this doesn't help with the issue, then I'd suggest to make a backup of your most important data on another location and then run a diagnostic test on the HDD so you can see what its health is currently. You can use the manufacturers tool in case there is such available in the official manufacturers website since it's tuned to the specific firmware of the drive. For instance, if you have a WD drive download Data Lifeguard Diagnostics from here:

My HP pavillion with specs: Gpu:            GeForce 940MCpu:             Intel(R) core (TM) i7-5500U CPU @2.4GHzMemory:    8.00 GB Ram When my computer first turns on for about the first 15 mins the disk usage is always at 100% even if i dont touch it. After that 15 mins or so, my pc disk usage sometimes drops down to as low as 0% but it isntantly spikes back up to 100% and remains at that.  I have done a full system clean up and there is no virus' or malware. Can someone give me any advice please?
