I keep getting emails kicked back undeliverable

Q: I keep getting emails kicked back undeliverable

I have Outlook for my email. I am having trouble sending email. The email is kicked back to my inbox with the message 'your message did not reach some or all of the recipients.' 550 recipient rejected: relay not allowed.

Then the send/receive progress window shows 'sending and receiving error Ox800CCC92.

I think this is where the problem is. Under tools/email accounts window, the logon information box refuses to hold the password. I check the password field later and the box is empty. How do I fix this?

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I'm guessing your machine is somewhere in - I've had problems with godaddy rejecting my emails sent from certain servers as spam.

What i did was call godaddy. They said I needed to get the company which was (not)receiving my mail to contact them. I then called my intended recip, gave them godaddy's phone number, and asked them to cc me on every email they send to + from godaddy.

godaddy fixed it, but they seemed to blacklist my machine every couple months or so.

Edit:Wowsers, I just noticed the date on your thread! Guess that problem has probably been fixed by now eh?

A few days ago, I bought a new computer (HP Pavilion a1310n) and installed AIM on it. I am permanently connected to the internet through an LAN. The problem I'm having since I got this new computer is whenever there is a quick lapse in my connection (which happens a few times a day), AIM will sign off and then automatically reconnect, but my away message will not go back up. Is there some way to set up AIM so that it will put my away message back up automatically when it logs back on? I never seemed to have this problem with my old computer, so I'm sure there's some way to do it. Thanks for reading!

A:AIM Away Message Won't Stay Up when kicked off and back on

Never mind - the problem turned out to be related to the Hibernate feature in Windows XP. Disabling this feature solved the problem.

I've probably posted this here before, but I'm about at my wit's end regarding this issue. When my computer is idle for a period of time (and it varies), the screen goes black and then switches back to the login screen. For a while, it was only doing it after several hours of inactivity, but now it's mere minutes. I thought I was the only one with this issue, but I stumbled across this post from March 2009, from user Raechul:

"I have searched everywhere and can't figure out how to keep this computer from going to the login screen after being idle for ten minutes!

I saw this thread and it was not what I needed- my settings are already set to not show the login screen, so I'm still at a loss.

Does anyone know how to stop it from going to login annoyance?"

I checked the highlighted link, but found nothing to solve my problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the nVidia graphics drivers. I've updated said drivers through Windows Update. I've done a full malware and virus scan. I've disabled hibernation, I've checked my power settings, I've disabled the screensaver. Nothing seems to make a difference.

My computer is an Acer Aspire 4520 laptop, nVidia GeForce 7000M graphics, AMD Athlon x2 64bit processor, Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit version. Screen resolution is 1280 x 800. All of the "wake on" settings are disabled, and in my power settings the "require login on wake" is disabled as well.

This is really getting annoying. I hope ... Read more

I have an Acer aspire 3 that I lent to a friend over the weekend. When I got it back today I tried to log in to my computer profile and the screen turned black then flashed on and off for a few minutes before kicking me off back to the login startup screen. It?s done this every time I try to log in. The first couple times there was a box of red diagonal lines that persisted on the screen as well, but that has stopped. Any suggestions? I can?t seem to stay logged in long enough to do a factory reset.

Thanks in Advance for anyone who can shed light on this for me. I have had a few emails recently that have "bounced" back as undeliverable that I didn't write/send. I think I read that this could be a worm/virus that is sending out emails using my email address. I typically do not download attachments, and never download them from an unknown source or without scanning for a virus. All of my software for viruses is up to date.
I am copy/pasting the email below. Can someone let me know if you can tell which virus/worm/whatever I may have and let me know what to do to remove.

Is this possible?

Because often I'll send messages that I regret later, and this would be really, really convenient.

A:Getting back sent emails

Once you send them, they are on your ISP's system and delivered to the recipients email inbox a few milliseconds later, where it would take a police order to have them retrieved.

The only exception is where they are in a company LAN system, where they do not travel outside the company system (never out to the "internet" email system). Then, if the recipient has not collected them from the company email server they can (if its a permitted activity) be recalled. That is because they never "left the building".

The comp was given to some tech guys to clean and they took out all the mails from 2009. All i got are 2008 mails. I have a VERY IMPORTANT mail that has travel itinerary for a business trip next week. Those idiots probably deleted it cause i cant find it anywhere now.

Im using Microsoft Outlook Express 6. Is there anyway i can get those messages back?? They didnt format the comp so i think it should still be in here somewhere.

Hi guys,
I checked the forums like many should do before asking, but most say oe or other names I have no idea of. My email is a sbcglobal.net address through yahoo, with internet through ATT. I'm not computer techy, so all those other email programs went over my head,

I had an email that I thought was safe that I "thought" I saved, but it got deleted. Over time the deleted emails were cleared too. (OOOPPPSSSS) I see there are certain programs to run to see if they are on the hard drive somewhere, but like I said I have no idea what email program I fall under. RIght now I have a windows 8 but it could also be on my older computer, which is a vista.

Any way to possibly get it back? Thought if anybody knew it would be you guys, or gals.

Thanks, and have a great day

A:Getting back deleted emails

Are you using web mail access? That is, when in your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) you go to some Yahoo! or att or sbc address to access your mail? If so, the deleted message will not be on either of your computers.

If, however, you are using an email client (Vista's Windows Mail, Thunderbird, etc.) which one(s)?

Hi... I'm in help desk in my company. We're having an issue with emails sent to Hotmail, they're being rejected. Microsoft answered, via website:

"Welcome to Microsoft Community. We understand how important for you to be able to send an email to Microsoft accounts from your domain account.

You need to get in touch with the Microsoft Sender Support Team. They have to fill out the e-form that can be found on the following link to solve your issue with the error code 550 SC-002 where your emails sent from your domain to Microsoft Account rejected for policy reasons.

If you are the 3rd party Domain Administrator:

Please review our policies and guidelines at http://postmaster.live.com.
If you are in compliance, submit a support request to our Email and Delivery Filtering Services team by clicking on the link to the e-form under the troubleshooting section in the postmaster site mentioned above.

Let us know if you have further questions.

Thank you. "

... but the problem is that mails sent to Gmail are being rejected too... So I suppose that our servers are being considered as spammers, for the time being, for some reason. Is there a workaround to this without having to contact either Hotmail or Gmail? That's dealing with obnoxious bureaucrats... if you ever can get a hold of them...

I couldn't follow the route. I will be replacing my email address in the posting with MY EMAIL. Also will be blocking out IP addresses. I am not sure which ones are part of my company and not. Let me know if the IP addresses are needed. I don't recall ever dealing with or sending anything to Macy's. These also come with 2 attachments I believe usually. I should say I am using "me" as in I am doing work for this employee at my work where I am doing some IT support and whatever else they need. This issue is something new though. I would like to get my saved emails off of my hard drive and onto a floppy disk. Then I would like to bring them back on to my hard drive. Of course, I would want them to be accessible by my email program when I restore them to the hard drive. How can I do this? I am using Outlook Express. Thanks.

A:How Do I Transfer Saved Emails To A Floppy & Back Again?

Hi, The easiest way is to email them to yourself even to another email address or email program that works to recieve and send Outlook Express mail, then reinstall or whatever you are going to do...and the emails will be waiting for you when you configure your account in Outlook on the reinstall.
You may need to update Internet Explorer, which contains OE updates> to the current version, etc and security updates, first.
You may have to spend a few minutes sending them, but unless there are way too many, it is tedious to copy emails themselves, that contain attachments, etc, to floppy disks. It depends on what the emails are...if there are links, ads, pictures etc...or just text emails.

You should also of course, get your Address book, Favorites from IE or other browser (you can import/export favorites and cookies in IE) too.

Remember- when you login to sites that require password and user name (TSG is one that does, it lets you save your login but when you clear cookies, you have to manually log back in the first time) Hope this helps. If you try a few emails, you may see that you like the idea..

I am not sure about how long your mail server will keep the emails you send> be a good idea to check on that, maybe it is adjustable, some ISPs have a way to extend the keep current period.

If these emails were created with a fairly current version of OE they should be readable by the same or higher version, but send your self a few and check it out!

A:Emails to me with photos bounce back to sender

Apparently they are rejected by the server. I can think of two reasons, they are being picked up as spam or they are too large. You may want to read the Terms of Service (TOS) on the website of your ISP.

What I am about to ask help on is all second hand information. I have zero examples of this and have no idea where to look.
Client is using Office365 setup by their previous IT company.
The previous company asked the client to notify us (being me and others) to remove them off the list so when the "client" gets bounce back emails the previous IT company no longer gets emails about it.
Where in the portal would that be? I am poking around and have no idea where to look for such a request nor was ever aware of it.

A:Office365 - Bounce Back Emails - Notifications

Can I just double check what you mean here.
When the user gets a bounce back message the old IT company would also get an e-mail saying the user had received a bounce back?
If I am correct then it would be something I personally would do via the users mail client, might be worth checking there. As for the O365 portal I am unsure of any parts in there other than OWA.

My Zone alarm and Vista didnt seem to like each other and so Zone alarm wouldn't uninstall even using Revo. I was advised to back up all my files and then do a factory restore, which I did onto an external hard disc.
I tried to use the Wizard to move the files back onto my machine but was told by the wizard that as backup had not been set up on my machine it could not do a transfer. I presume because I had reverted to a factory settings reinstall.
I can see my windows mail folder on my external hard drive. I have been able to copy and paste all my contacts and that is working well
My question to the panel is what is then the easiest way to move the messages folder back onto my machine? Can I move the whole folder and all its contents or can I go into the folder and just pull back the In and out box.
When I look into say the In box on my external backup all I see is a winmail.fol extension. What should I be looking for and doing Guys? this is driving me nuts!

A:moving backed up emails back into Vista

The email messages will be in files with the .eml extension.

If you locate those, then create folders in Windows Mail and
highlight the .eml files and drag them to the folders you just
created. It is not a good practice to store emails in the
default folders.

A:emails coming back; cannot send photos

Are all emails returned or just some?

One reason why they may come back is that the addresses are no longer valid or they may be blocked due to infection.

If you are using Outlook Express or another Windows email client, you may not have configured it correctly for your ISP -- you should contact them for information on how to set it up.

>> I've edited your topic title because you do not want to publish your email address -- you will just be a spam target.

Photos are usually sent as attachments, is that how you are doing it? What happens when you try to attach one?

Now it seems that there were two back ups on the stick but only a few weeks appart so has that compromised the file re-install and where the hell are my emails. I have searched for *.pst (I think that is what they are) but can find nothing at all. I did find an Outlook file called archive and that put some sent emails into the system but thats about it. When I look at the contents of the memory stick it says Home PC with a little CD graphic and when I go to the next layer it says Back up set and then the date followed by a number. The next layer then lists another back up which was the latest with a different number, the next layer gives over 60 folders on the earlier back up and only 6 on the later.

Any ideas as to how I can reslove this lot or have I made a mess of it all

A:Factory image re-install but no emails in back up

Hi John,

Firstly....You'll have to enable viewing of hidden files and folders in Control Panel >Folder Options > View .

Then you may navigate to C:\Users\Specific User\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook

Does someone know how I can upload my emails from Outlook back to the Yahoo server. I have an Yahoo Plus account.

A:Upload Yahoo Emails back to server

just select the e mail select the "forward" option and mail it back to yourself , obviously make sure your e mail client isnt set to automatically download or you'll just end up with it back on your desktop

you can also set your e mail client to leave a copy of the mails on the server everytime it downloads any mails.

Please don't think i'm impatient but i really need some advice.

I posted this problem yesterday, i think it's gone to the second page, maybe someone will get to it eventually, i hope you don't mind me posting it again.

Just before my pc crashed, my son, who shares Outlook Express with me exported his emails on to a cd, at that time i had Windows Me and Outlook Express 5.

I had a new c drive put in and went back to Windows 98, i also updated to Outlook Express 6.

My son has gone through all the stages of trying to import his emails from the cd back into his identity in Outlook Express but they went into my identity even though he loged in with his own identity.
How do i go about transferring his emails from my identity to his own in Outlook.

I am new to this sort of thing and would really appreciate your help.

Sorry for posting this twice.

Since January I have had this awful new version of outlook preview forced upon me.
The main problem is it has all 6000 emails on display, making navigation impossibly slow. Most of the time I give up. I've got almost a month of mainly unanswered emails because it is too stressful to browse them like this. In short, I simply don't have the time.
I cannot find anywhere into revert back to 35 messages per page
Please help.
Best wishes, R

Since Microsoft Mail doesn't seem to sync correctly, Outlook.com doesn't seem to support pop accounts ( and I was getting some "TLS API error" ), I logged in to the pop server with telnet:

telnet pop.secureserver.net PORT

Which means 0 messages, 0 bytes, as I understand.

I use a gmail account to send an email to this pop account and it bounces back:
Any ideas on how to fix this?

This morning emails I am sending to hotmail accounts I use every day are being bounced back with the message :"550 SC-001 Mail rejected by Windows Live Hotmail for policy reasons. Reasons for rejection may be related to content with spam-like characteristics or IP/domain reputation problems." There is nothing different from usual about the eemails I am sending. What is going on please?

A:Windows Live Hotmail suddenly bouncing back emails

Hi Aroominyork, it is possible the mail server you use for sending mail has been added to a black list which is now causing you issues.

You need to find the IP of your SMTP server (which you can find probably in the returned emails), if not then copy and paste the contents of one of the returned emails here and we should be able to find it.

When you have the IP, try typing it in here and see what results you get.
