Q: re: how to send an attachment file to many email addresses, but each person email...

hello anyone

Here is a question I need you help me:

I want to send an attachment file to many email addresses at one time, but when I sent it to them, I just want each person's email see only his or her email (as like as -->To: [email protected] in his or her mail only) that I sent for the person.

Can anyone tell me how to do that, or that can not do it, only send one by one? Please let me know immediately.

Thank you for your help

For example, I don't want it display in each person's email like that:

From: "Phil T" <[email protected]> Add to Address Book
Subject: re: one to many (one file to each separate person)
To: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]
[email protected]--

I want it display like this below (each person received like this, To: [email protected]) and other email received the same file too:

Preferred Solution: re: how to send an attachment file to many email addresses, but each person email...

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I think you you need to put people's address in the bcc (blind carbon copy) field.

I am helping a friend with their computer mess. The husband uses Windows Live as his email client and the wife uses direct Road Runner.

They both use the same computer. When the husband tries to send email to his wife's email acct, she never receives it. Yet he can send emails to me and I am a Road Runner email address. So I know that his Windows Live is set up correctly.

His wife's email is working fine directly through Road Runner as she can send and receive emails.

SO... Seems to me the issue has something to do with using the same computer and he never signs out of Windows Live. (I personally use Outlook as I am a business and am not familiar with Windows Live)

He never gets any kind of Undeliverable mail message or anything.

Can anyone help me here. I'm am do back over to continue cleaning up some other issues with his system. And I'm not sure where to go from here.

Thank you in advance.

Say I have 10 individual Email recipients that I often send the same Email to. I want to be able to bring all the addresses together into one Group, and send the Email addressed to say "Family" or "Social Team" etc.

Is there a way that I can lump all the common recipients together under one title?

A:How do I group common Email addresses together to send all the same Email?

Since your question is in the Windows Live section, I am assuming you are using the Windows Live Mail (POP Version). To add a group email do the following:

1. In Windows Live Mail, click the "contacts" button
2. Click "New"
3. Select "Category"
4. Name the Catergory (such as Family or whatever you want to call the group)
5. Check the email addresses of the list that pops up for those you want in the group.

Now, next time you want to send an email with this program, in the "to" field, simply type the name of the category you just created. All contacts you added to the group will now be sent the email you just wrote.

Hello.. this is my first post here! I'm computer savy, but cant' find and answer to my mom's problem, and thought someone could help here!

My mom uses Microsoft Outlook for her work emails. When she forwards or sends attachments, the reciever sees can't see the attachment. For my webmail, I see a paperclip but no attachment. In Outlook Express, I see nothing.

Is this a problem with her mail server possibly? She works for the government, and I wonder if there is a filter on her mail? But I dont' suspect that to be the problem, seeing as she can recieve all sorts of attachments (.zip, .doc, .jpg, etc.). I've tried forwarding messages as well as attaching documents to a new email, and still no go.

Does anyone have any ideas or solutions??

Thanks for your help!

Hi, I have problems sending email attachment. This has nothing to do with the file size. I cannot send even a 20k attachment.
I have no problems surfing Internet. I can read CNN, Yahoo, NYTimes. However, I cannot send email attachment nor upload files to my blog. What happens when I try to send email with attachment is the sending process quickly reaches 99% delivery. Then, it sticks there for a couple of minutes and finally, gives an error message saying connection to SMTP server smtp.googlemail.com timed out.
If I take the computer to work, which uses the same ISP and same ADSL, the problematic email goes through without any problem. If I connect the modem directly to my computer, the problem doesn't show up. Thus, the culprit must be the router.
I recently purchased a TP-LINK N750 dual band wireless router and the problem began. Before, I used a TP-LINK WR941ND router. There was no problems. All I did is set up the wireless connection (SSID, IP address, password, etc.) and leave other settings alone. I can't figure out why this problem is happening.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As part of that, he got on my laptop and forwarded an email to our home email that he then tried to send to his work address in hopes he could troubleshoot at work. Now the problem has "spread" to his laptop. Now we both can't send anything to his work address from either of our computers. Outlook express does not send my emails containing attachments 85% of the time. The error message reads

Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. I set up a new domain and made two new email addresses for it. The domain is hosted at Hostgator.

I set up accounts in OE for both email addresses. When I test them, I am able to receive emails sent to them, but I can't send emails from them. When I try to send from them, I get this message:

The connection to the server has failed. Account: '[email protected]', Server: 'mail.burnlessfuel.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I spoke to Hostgator support. The problem seems to be with OE because they told me that both sending & receiving to these addresses works fine when they test them by accessing them online (with Squirrel or the other online options they have)

Any idea what is wrong & how to fix it? Thanks.

I have set up( eventually) Windows 8 mail to receive mail from an extra email address as well as the initial one e.g [email protected], and [email protected] Now, while I can read incoming mail from both, if I reply to mail coming in on the second address, the reply shows up as originating from the first address. Hi Dokgolf, welcome to the Eight Forums.

When composing a mail message, new or reply, Mail App shows the sender (usually your default mail account) on top left corner just above the To field where you type the receiver's mail address. Simply click your avatar / name to open a drop down list of all your mail accounts and select the sender account you'd like to use.

Anyway, I seem to have a settings problem in my email somewhere or it could quite possibly be on the other end. Ok, so first off, : IE 5.5
DSL connection (sympatico)

Humm lets see what else might be relevant? You tell me what you'd like to know.

So now here's the problem...I type out an email in the outlook express and send it. The receiver then gets my email and my letter is attached to the email as a word pad text file, which they then open and have to scroll in order to read one sentence.
It's very odd...I haven't done anything new, and this has never happened before. I've checked my options, compose and even did a "repair" to check for corrupt, or changed files...but nothing, everything on this end seems fine. Any ideas?

A:email changes to wordpad text file attachment

Just a thought, do you have Word Pad as your spell check editor in Outlook? Check autocorrect options in Outlook. I like to use Word as my editor in Outlook, more through and efficient. I have never used Word Pad, i change the defaut to Word. Also look in Internet Explore, tools, and then the programs tab, Word Pad is the default, but it can be changed to Word. That is a change you could make and easily change back if your not happy using word. My other thought is that the font you are using in outlook may not be read properly in Word Pad. An example i just dealt with: I wrote a letter in Word, e-mailed to a hotmail address. It opened as an attacthement but not in Word. You could not read the letter, because of the font i had used, hotmail simply does not have that font. The same problem exists in Word Pad.

Two things you might do:

1. You mentioned you already checked your "Recent Docs" list in Word, but also check your Recent Items list in the Vista Start menu. It may still be there. If it is, just do a Save As and save it to the location you need.

2. Do an Advanced Search of your entire computer. Press the Windows key with the F key.
That brings up the Search page - click the Advanced Search button to the far right to open the set up screen.
In the next screen check: the Include non-indexed, hidden, and system files option. Under Location, select Computer or Everywhere, and in the Name box, fill in the name of the file you?re looking for, or some text from within the file. (After this first search is completed, if it was unsuccessful, do additional searches for any other key words you think might be associated with that... Read more

I'd like to send emails to a specific group of people (roughly 150 people) using Outlook. However, I'd like any given user to only see his/her email address in the "To" box, not the other 149. How safe to open these .exe files??

I emailed some Excel 2000 .xls files from my work computer to my home computer. I'm wary about opening them because 6 out of 7 of them have arrived at home as .exe files.

Many, but not all, of these files have lots of vlookups or possible filtering. Would vlookups or filtering cause the file to change to an .exe file? ie Is it probable they are safe to open?

A quick response would be much appreciated, since I'm hoping to do lots of work at home tonight!

Using WideBand achieving about 1.5 Mbps with a speed test. When sending email with file attachment of 3.2MB, the time to send or receive the email w/file attachment takes minutes not seconds. A friend with the same BroadBand service using the same email message w/same attachment can do it in 73 seconds. Is there something I'm missing in settings on my system? Or is this an issue with the mail server(s) and MIME?

A:EMail File Attachment(MIME) transfer speed too slow on WideBand

Well it all depends on what you upload speed is, not your download speed. You likely have 256kpbs or maybe a little higher. That really limits your capability of sending a large attachment quickly.

Can someone help me find a Windows(XP)-based program that I can use to delete records from text-delimited flatfile using a file of email addresses?

Actually, it could be a text-delimited, CSV or an XLS spreadsheet - I can put the data in several formats.

I bought a list of several thousand "opt-in" email addresses, but had about 40% of them bounce. I also had a few request "opt-out". The task of deleting the individual records is staggering without a helper!

My background is a mainframe systems analyst. The only PC-based programming language I became good at was compiled (4.5 or 7.1) BASIC. I sure hate to have to try to find my BASIC compiler, re-install it (if the diskettes could even be read!) and write a program from scratch.

I have created a flatfile containing a list of all the "bounces" and "remove me" email addresses (8K+ records!) and need to use it as a "driver" to find the records in the flatfile and eliminate them.

If anyone can help... THANKS!

I could write a Bash script in a couple of minutes to do it but that would require you to run Linux.
