Lenovo T570 Bluetooth disapeared

Q: Lenovo T570 Bluetooth disapeared

Hi guyz ) I have encountered this quite unusual problem with my notebook. I have been using it for three months including the Bluetooth services (connecting devices, sharing files, etc.) but today I came home and the icon is gone and when I try to open the settings, there is no switch button for "Turn bluetooth On|Off" and all paired devices say, that "Bluetooth is turned off". I have already checked some advices on the net saying I should reinstall my BT drivers, but when I open the Device Manager, there is not the item "Bluetooth radios". From this all it seems to me, my notebook somehow forgot it can use Bluetooth. Any advice will be appreciated )

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Today I installed the latest win 10 updates, my laptop previously came with win 8, I had upgraded to win 10 without issue. After installing and rebooting the laptop several times, the bluetooth does not work, it does not show up in device manager. I checked in the show hidden items on control panel as well, still nothing. I cannot find bluetooth anywhere in settings anymore. It was working fine immediately before the update. I have tried the offical lenovo bluetooth drivers, neither work, after installation they simply say that no device is found for this software. Any help would be appreciated

Hello, My company recently purchased a dual 4k setup for a work station. The setup is the following:2 ThinkVision P27 monitorsLenovo ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 DockT570 (Type: 20HA) I setup the monitors and docking station yesterday and was able to power the displays using a X1 Carbon 5th gen (i5 model type: 20HQ) thru USB-C without issue. I have a user testing out the desk now with a T570. I'm able to get one monitor to funtion at 4K and the other is running at 1080p. If you check display settings I'm unable to increase the resolution to 4K. I've updated all drivers on the T570 including the display driver and thunderbolt docking station driver this morning and the system still fails to power dual 4K. I brought back the X1 I used previously and it powers the screens normally. I checked the specs of the T570 and its identical to the X1 as far as processor is concerned and the model page claims the USB-C port on the T570 can power dual 4K. What else can I try?

Hi, I've purchased new Lenovo ThinkPad T570 with the following specs: CPU i7 7600UGPU 940MX32Gb RAM1Tb SSD PCIe (Samsung PRO 960)"15.6UHDLTEBatteries: 32Wh 4Cell Li-Ion front battery + ThinkPad Battery 3 Cell Li-Ion (24Whr) - up to 13.5 hrs according to OEM System setup: Win10 x64- All unnecessary apps are off/deleted (all background apps disabled)- No resource-consuming apps running (Skype and that's it)- Visual Windows effects are turned off- All possible background Windows services (such as error reporting, Cortana and etc. are off). I did not touch any services through msconfig though, they are at defaults.- Power type: Balanced- Screen brightness at 95%  What I am experiencing from time to time is dimming screen (Power Options -> Advanced Settings -> Display - > Enable adaptive brightness is both OFF (on battery and plugged-in). 1. What can be the cause for dimming? 2. Other question - battery is holding maximum 5.5-6 hrs (no resource heavy tasks, only browsing, 1080p videos on youtube). How to optimize that? 3. Windows update or simple JAVA setup can trigger fan to start working heavily blowing basically cold air - very annoying. All newest drivers are installed. BIOS is updated to the latest version. Feedback is highly appreciated. Thank you.

Not sure if right section. I'm leaning towards a T570 with an Intel vPro processor (i5-U model), however for the duration of warranty and what-not, does it mean that Lenovo Support can/will use it to help me solve potential problems faster? Or is it only for the use by my IT department (which i don't have), and won't help getting assistance from Lenovo Support? Thank you in advance for shedding light on this!

Good Morning. I have an issue with a T570 laptop's trackpoint BUTTONS. Machine is running Windows 7 Pro. When the "generic" Microsoft Compatible PS2 driver is installed, the Trackpoint and 3 Buttons work with no issues, however you lose all gestures on the touchpad. When any version of the Synaptics driver I can get my hands on is installed, the Trackpoint continues to work, however the 3 buttons die. The trackpoint check box in the UltraNav settings tab is checked. If I uncheck, the trackpoint stops working (as would be expected). Checking it again allows the Trackpoint to work but the buttons remain dead. Without being too long winded I do want to throw out there that this laptop is in an Enterprise environement and was imaged using a build from T560.If the Windows 7 OS that came from the factory is left on the machine, the Trackpoint buttons function with no issue.Note that the driver versions of both the MS Compatible PS2 driver and the Synaptics driver between the Factory image and the Enterprise image are the same. I'm sure the solution is buried in the registry somewhere, just not sure what to change or delete entirely to get the buttons reenabled. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

We just got a 570 in today.  It's got an i5 7500u, don't know the storage capacity because it's a demo unit that was lended to us for a few weeks.  When I boot into the BIOS it doesn't show any drives.  When I use boot manager it only has PCIe LAN or Windows Boot Manager.  When selecting Windows Boot Manager nothing happens it goes back to that screen.  I can boot to WDS (where we have an image for the 570 with the 6500u) and it didn't see any volume.  I thought okay that's fine I'll boot from a Windows 10 USB.  I get the exact same issue.  I've messed around with secure boot, changed legacy and uefi settings.  The only thing I haven't done is open the machine up to see if there's even a drive inside.  Anybody have any other options I could try?

HI, I have a Lenovo ThinkPad T570 hooked up with the Lenovo LS2251 Wide monitor via HDMI to DVI adapter. The only difference is that this time the monitor isn't eaven recognized by the T570. Both monitors worked well when they were connected to my older Lenovo Thinkpad via same HDMI to DVI adapter. All drivers are up-to date as well. Please help.

When my T570 restarts, sometimes it stacks at the logo screen like forever. I have to press the power button to kill the power off then it can be Stared normally. Another problem: The X key on my keyboard doesn?t work well, I have to press hard to input letter X. Any suggestions of this? Do I need to replace the whole keyboard?  I am kind of disappointed on Lenovo quality control, how a big company let this small issue happen...

We've got a T570 that we're going to use for a standard image but we have just one minor problem.  The home page is set to our intranet page, but whenever we click on the home button in IE (we have to use IE) it opens an additional Lenovo home page tab.  You can hover over the home page button and it's got our intranet page.  You can click the down arrow next to it and it's got our intranet page.  When you check the IE settings you cannot find Lenovo anywhere in the homepage area.  Just not sure why it might be doing this and if there's maybe some registry key or something we're missing.  We're also running Windows 7 Pro.

A:Lenovo Z50-70 bluetooth issue

hi MarieNville,

Welcome to the Forums.

Can you please try the following:

1. Navigate to Control Panel (icon views) > Programs and Features and remove any apps that relates to Bluetooth (reboot if necessary).

2. When finished, the Bluetooth section will now use the inbox Bluetooth Driver as shown in the image below:

3. If the Bluetooth section is not present, download and run the Bluetooth Driver installer
     - this will identify the type of Bluetooth Device installed on the system (eg. Qualcom Atheros, Intel, etc.) and it will install a generic Bluetooth driver. If successful, try pairing a bluetooth device and observe.

If everything goes well, try installing the official bluetooth drivers by navigating to the D:\Drivers\Bluetooth folder or from the Z50-70 drivers page and observe.

Let me know how it goes.

Regards

Hi Poykl, Welcome to Lenovo Community!
As per the query we understood that you are facing an issue with Bluetooth adapter on your ThinkPad T430s. This could be issue with function keys check with pressing Fn+F5 key and you will get an option to enable Bluetooth and Wifi adapter check with this option. If you are not getting the option then I think your system is not shipped with Bluetooth adapter, please provide the MTM (Machine Type Model) number which will be at the back of the system written on the white sticker so that we will confirm if the Bluetooth is shipped along with the sysetm.
Hope this helps.
Best regards,

I bought my K450 Desktop a while back on Amazon, and it said that it had bluetooth.  It doesn't seem to be built in, but a bluetooth dongle for the included keyboard and mouse may have been what it was referencing. If this was the case, how can I make the keyboard/mouse bluetooth dongle general purpose so that I can connect my mobile phone to my PC wirelessly? I've tried installing the Lenovo bluetooth drivers, but am told that no bluetooth reciever is connected to my PC. Why can't I make this usb dongle act as general purpose, rather than only working for the keyboard/mouse?

Hello everybody!I thought maybe someone would need it...At me on lenovo W500 after the next updating Windows 10 began to work badly bluetooth - that connects with a headset that is not present. I got tired of it and after several evenings of studying replacement issues I found a solution - I ordered on aliexpress module bluetooth version 4.0 (FRU 60Y3303) which was installed in the X230 X220 T410 T420 T430 T530 T510 T520 W510 W520 W530 (https://ru.aliexpress.com/item/New-Original-4-0-Bluetooth-Module-Lenovo-ThinkPad-X230-X220-T410-T420...). The connector they have is the same as the W500, but they were created 7 years after the release of W500. This is just the rare case when the proprietary connector played a positive role )))To replace it, you must first disable the bluetooth in the Windows and remove its drivers, then turn off the laptop, remove the battery and the bezel of the screen. The module itself is immediately behind the bezel near the bottom left corner. After the replacement you need to put back the bezel and the battery and the Windows 10 will find all the necessary drivers automatically. You will only have to delete all paired devices and recreate the pairing with them.P.S. BIOS normally took new equipment.Configuration:T9900 processor (yes, it work, 35W TDP), 8GB RAM (ya, it worked!, SAMSUNG M471B5273BH1-CF8, 2x4GB), 320GB hitachi HDD.Tags: LENOVO W500 BLUETOOTH 4 UPGRADE PICS:  Old moduleDeactivate deviceDelete driversDelete driversNew moduleOpen... hi xaniotis75,

Your issue might be similar to this thread.

Can you try the following:

1. Uninstall the Bluetooth and Lenovo Energy Manage driver from the Programs list and reboot the PC.
2. During the reboot, continuously tap the F2 key to boot into the BIOS. When you're in, press F9 to load setup defaults and press F10 to save and exit BIOS.
3. When the unit boots back into Windows, re-install the following:

Bluetooth Driver (Cybertan, Liteon)
v12.0.0.1671/8.0.0.206
0pbl07w8.exe327MB

Lenovo Energy Managementcagt26ww.exe21.2MB

If bluetooth driver doesn't install, try this Bluetooth® for Windows® software from.Broadcom.

4. Turn the Bluetooth ON by pressing Fn+F5 and check if the bluetooth capability is now ON.

Let me know your findings

Cheers

I was using my bluetooth mouse when it suddenly stopped. Digging into it, it looks like bluetooth is no longer working on my y410p laptop.  - I no longer have bluetooth options under All Settings > Devices (Windows 10)- Bluetooth no longer shows up in my device manager In my computer properties there's an Unknown USB Device that is listed as "Port_#0007_#Hub#0003". Dear Silver, There is a slide switch on the left front side of the X200 which physically turns the Bluetooth off and on.  The switch is easy to accidentally move from one position to the other when you handle the machine.  It's happened to me on several occasions, and it is not a software problem, it is a mechanical one.  When you find the switch, see if it is in the proper position to allow Bluetooth to function. Regards, EB

A:Lenovo G700 BlueTooth issue

Have you physically looked at the hardware (Wireless Card) and ran the units serial / model / part numbers thru Google to see if it does in fact have bluetooth?  I ask this as the listing you link to states the bluetooth module is "optional" rather than included as fact.

I would also recommend that you download your service / maintenance manual from the Lenovo Support tab of this website and look at the listing of parts for WiFi and bluetooth, which you can use as a "reference" tool to see exactly what part is in your notebook.

Once you have this information, post back and we will see what we can do to assist you with further troubleshooting.

Cheers.
