I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

The new Lenovo Yoga Book c930 with eInk screen is great, but currently the software is far away from its potential:* eink notes have to be explicitly copied to the main screen, no direct handwriting entry* no onenote support on the eink side* no acrobat pdf annotation on eink side* no ebook support yet* etc.Lenovo has already said that they are working on more features, but is there any roadmap or what features to expect?Cheers

Hi, I'm about to order the new yoga book c930, the one with the dual display (lcd + e-ink) setup. However, in my market (Sweden) only the m3 version with 128GB ssd and without pen is available as of now  Since this will be mostly a home web browsing 2-in-1 for me I'm fine with the performance and storage limitations but really would like to have a pen for it that works both for the LCD and the e-ink display for notes and sketching. Any hints as to which of all the different lenovo (or third party?) pens available that would work? Is the one that comes with the i5-version available separately? I haven't been able to find any guidance on lenovo.com and local pre-sales customer service didn't have any answer either unfortunately. Any guidance would be highly appreciated!

I bought C930 13IBK model last month. It worked something wrong.1. did not auto rotate2. when battery fully charged and power line connected, didn't boot (hanging windows logo screen)3. when power line connected and battery fully charged, keyboard didn't work. (power line disconnect & reboot, keyboard do work)  I spent several hours for several days to find & try to fix because above problems are minior functions and can be some setting problems.I phoned service center twice and visited service center and got it was faulty product and certificates for that.I shoud go to the re-saller to exchage new one with that certificates.  Lenovo Vantage said every systems OK but windows device manager said one serial IO I2C host controller had problems. That means Lenovo's quality control standard did not test that. So faulty product can delivered to cutomer.  Customer should spend times & money to fix that problem. Customer shoud think that was bad luck? In that case, the only thing Lenovo did is, judged the customer's complain & print a paper. I cannot understand why customer shoud do all dirty things because of Lenovo's fault.I'll never buy Lenovo again because of quality control and service policy.

Or will any of the other available pens work with this model (I realize only the original pen will probably connect magnetically). One other question, the pen I recieved didn't come with any replacement tips, will these be available as well?

Been having some trouble with the fingerprint reader. 1) it has generally been slow in operation. Many times it takes a few times before it works right. I've tried redoing it a few times. Just seems hit or miss. 2) Sometimes after opening the lid the fingerprint reader doesn't turn on.

Well, at the moment, I am in college doing an IT and Gaming course, I am hoping to become an independent developer in Flash and Java games, which involve some decent hardware for gaming and what not.

I'll be using a computer system for developing, gaming etc.

I was thinking about getting an iMac with a computer connected to a 32" screen, for my Xbox aswell, or should I scrap the iMac and get 2 screens instead???heeelp

A:Future development rig

I'm confused, an iMac is a complete computer so not sure what you mean by "getting an iMac with a computer connected to a 32" screen" or how that would relate to an XBOX...?

Hi, I am looking for a laptop with a 4K screen. According to the specs, the X1 Carbon Gen 7 and X1 Yoga Gen 4 will have 51W battery. Does that mean even they will get the latest cpu (which some said there is not much different), they will have shorter battery life than the current Yoga C930 which has 60W battery? https://www.ultrabookreview.com/24380-2019-lenovo-thinkpads/https://www.ultrabookreview.com/24458-lenovo-yoga-c930-review/

Hi, I noticed that when I took the laptops out from a computer bag and immediately flipped them over into a tablet, the login screen showed up with a prompt to enter the password. However, virtual keyboard did not show up. I had to turn the laptps to laptop mode, entered the password and then flipped them back to tablet for the machines to function. This has happened to both my Yoga 730 15" 4K and Yoga C930 4K. Why? Perhaps it is not the virtual keyboard not showing up but the touch screens did not respond? Is this a common issue for the Yoga line?

I bought my ThinkPad X1 Yoga for around $1600 CAD with 2 years on-site warranty. The Yoga C930 is usually around the same price or more expensive, but the yogadays promotion right now made the base model $200 cheaper even with 2 years on-site warranty. Would you guys say that at $200 cheaper, the Yoga C930 is worth it? It has dual fans and a bigger battery, those seem to be the main advantages.

Hello everyone! So after going back and forth which laptop i wanted i finally ended up getting a Yoga C930 which feels MUCH better compared to the 730 i had for about a day. The only concern i have for it right now is the fan noise is noticeable. I updated all of the drivers and did all of the windows updates, but it seems the fan is much more audible compared to the 730 i had. (I used the windows app and Driver Easy to do this) It's not entirely annoying but i do notice it. I also notice the laptop tends to get a bit warm. I know its only been a few hours but still its something i've noticed.  This is the exact one i purchased from Best Buy I've also noticed the Dolby Atmos Speaker System app apparently isn't compatible with my device? Also looking if anyone has recommendations on which usb c dongle to use so I can connect extra USB, display, and memory card reader? Some of the ones I?ve found on amazon don?t exclusively list if it works on the yoga c930

When i would press the power button the computer would make a stange noise, kind of sounded when a car will not power on when it has a dead battery. However, when i pluged in the charger it powered on. The battery was not dead as when the laptop powered on the battery was about 30 percent.. i just bought this laptop 17 days ago, this is quite fustrating.. The device seemed to have a couple bugs the first couple days of use but i didnt think much of it when it went away.. i hope lenovo can take care of the issue..

I have a brand-new Yoga C930 2-in-1 with a 1TB SSD and 16 GB RAM, which I'd like to run Ubuntu Linux on. I can't manage to boot from a USB (type A) pen drive yet, though. I managed to enter the BIOS (via this hint) and the "Boot from USB" option is "Enabled". When I exit the BIOS, though, saving the changes, having the USB pen drive plugged-in into the USB-A slot, Windows is booting up just normal. No USB boot happens, no boot menu is shown. Also, the usual pressing of buttons such as F2, F11, F12 or Del doesn't result in anything being shown from the BIOS. How do I boot from a USB drive then? Obviously, when there is a related option in the BIOS, it should be possible, shouldn't it?

I recently purchased the Yoga c930 to mainly draw on the go and do artwork in various apps and programs (mainly Photoshop, SketchBook, and Krita). However, this 2 in 1 is unable to download the wacom feel it driver ( I get a message saying that the wacom driver is not compatiable with the computer/tablet, which is wierd because the pen uses wacom aes technology) and I am having trouble with getting pressure sensitivity to work in almost everything I have tried to draw in. I even tried to change setting within the programs themselves, but the only one that really worked was Photoshop. Krita and Sketchbook still have no pressure sensitivity. There is also a Lenovo Pen Settings control panel for pressure sensitivity, but it does not really seem to make a difference in sensitivity when I change the settings there. Any suggestions as to how to get the pressure sensitivity to function properly on this computer would be greatly appreciated. I really don't want to have to return the laptop and get the Yoga 720 13" becuase this computer is really nice otherwise, but I'm starting to think that may be the only option if I want to have a better drawing experience.

I purchased a Lenovo Yoga c930 last week and it got delivered today. I have been experiencing issues with the sleep and power options. As soon as I click the button to eject the pen, the laptop goes into sleep mode where I have to sign in again. The situation gets worse because sometimes the laptop would shut down randomly when the pen is ejected out or it is inserted back into the laptop. Does anyone have a solution for this issue or anyone faced a similar issue? I have checked the power options and I have set the power and sleep option as never.

Today I recieved my new C930 laptop from Lenovo and right off the bat I knew that the touchpad felt bad.   The main issue with it is the imprecise touchpad.  When trying to make small movements or adjustments the cursor on screen does not reflect the movement I am making on the touchpad.  The cursor either doesn't move at all, moves in a different manner than my hand, or jumps randomly.Another major issue for me is trying to two finger click (right click).  Often times when I attempt the two finger click, it is registered as a single finger click resulting in a left click.  This problem doesn't seem to appear when I do a two finger TAP though. There are other minor issues im experiencing, but they are so minor that I would be willing to just put up with it. I've tried updating the HID-compliant touch pad and HID-compliant mouse drivers, but I am told that I have the latest drivers even though the driver versions are 10.0.17763.316 and 10.0.17763.1 respectively. (these drivers are from 2006)  I've also tried uninstalling these drivers and restarting my pc to download new drivers. Anyways, any help to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

So i have a Yoga c930 with 8gb ram and an i7 8550u. And i also have some old linux OS's on my USB thumb drive. I can successfully boot to my desktop pc from that same drive. That pc supports both UEFI and legacy, and since the OS on the thumb drive can only boot through legacy i cannot seem to boot it on the Yoga C930. I've updated to the latest bios (8GCN32WW) and i've tried to both disable secure boot, and intel trust platform technology. Both unsuccessfully, and both disabled at the same time. Is it just not possible to boot from a legacy drive, or am i doing something wrong? Best regards, Mads.

Hello, I bought a lenovo yoga c930 laptop yesterday with a FHD screen (1920x1080p) and the first thing I noticed is that all images and videos seem to be a bit blurry and not sharp as would for a 1080p screen. I checked that the screen resolution is set to 1080p and I don't know what else to do, even logos on websites and normal small images you would normally pass by seem very annoying and disappointing to look at. I'm not sure how I'll even manage to watch videos on it (1080p videos definitely don't even look close to 1080).I hope there's something you can tell me to help with this as it is very upsetting where my 10 year old Toshiba laptop that has a way worse screen resolution specs but way better image and video quality. Thanks

A funny thing worth noting is that even the Desktop background image that comes with the laptop is blurred. I don't understand how that can be a good start.

All the testing I have done shows no Intel Thunderbolt 3 software or drivers installed under the standard current updated Lenovo configuration.  The Intel Thunderbolt control centre from the MS Apps store will not install also. The Lenovo support want me to re-image my 920 and C930 but this appears to be a waste of time if the required software for Thunderbolt 3 port does not exist and if the required Intel Thunderbolt controller chip is not installed . The Thunderbolt icon also does not appear when a thunderbolt device is plugged in.  The bios does not have the required Thunderbolt security settings options either. All of this makes me doubt that the claimed 40 gps Thunderbolt 3 ports are anything more than conventional 5 or 10 gps USB 3-c ports as that is what they appear to be setup as by Lenovo  I hope i am wrong. The required drivers are clearly visible in other similar specification Thunderbolt 3 computers e.g. HP spectre X360 but do not appear in the Lenovo C930 and 920

I just purchased a Lenovo Yoga C930, and the Pen doesn't charge in the dock unless I push the pen all the way to the bottom of the dock (and only if I'm putting the pen in, not taking it out), and even then it only charges up to 50%.
The battery lasts a while after I do this, and it takes 15 seconds for the battery to charge from 6% to 50%.
The charging contacts on the Pen itself seem straight and fine.
The first day I used the pen, I used it heavily for a few hours and did not encounter a problem.
Any suggestions? Is this most likely a problem with the Pen or with the laptop itself?

A:Yoga C930: pen only half charging

The Lenovo Yoga Book c930 does not have a charging dock for the pen. I believe you are in the wrong forum. Good luck.
