Weird Internet browser issues and graphical issues

Q: Weird Internet browser issues and graphical issues

Recently, I have been having some really odd graphical issues in my internet browser (Chrome but also happens in IE10). I have run Antimalwarebytes and MSE and they turned up nothing. I have some examples.

Last one is a example of what Steam looks like right now for me. I'm at a loss at what to do. Anti-virus shows nothing, rebooted router and modem, restarted computer, I can't seem to run any program that I download. It could be a virus but I can't find it with any program I run. I do have some graphical issues in video games. Such as in Dota II. Some characters will be missing some of their graphics. For instance a character model will not have his Hat on or have a weapon. Any help will be appreciated.

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

IE10 in Win 7 has turned out to be a bit of a Pandora's Box with Flashplayer and Shockwave problems - not sure if it could also include Silverlight as well.

You could try uninstalling/reinstalling those to see if that improves or try the sites in Firefox.

Create a restore point before you uninstall Shockwave though because I've had a H of a problem with that in IE for it to include the ActiveX Control add-ons on the reinstall.

You could also see if they view okay in Safe Mode etc.

If they do then that could point to a graphics driver problem, but I think it's the media that's probably causing this problem.

You could also download Speccy or HW Monitor to see if it's an overheating issue to be on the safe side.

Let me just start off by giving a short history of what has happened recently.

My mom buys me a cheap walmart jacket for Christmas and for some reason it creates alot of static electricity, To the point where my hair stands up... lol But I have shut my computer down 3 different times just by touching the bay door and shocking it. I walk around the house touching metal objects trying to release some of the built up static electricity. Once when I was trying to plug in my headphones to the front jacks I sent a spark into my headphone jack and my headphones quit working. But for about a week now I have been preparing to reinstall windows (Archiving files and moving pictures off of my C: Drive) And Friday I was finally able to do it. But I couldn't find my install disk so I had to download a new one from here [MDL LINK REMOVED]
And I used the Windows 7 USB/DVD Download tool from the Microsoft website. Everything installed fine but that's where my problems started. I was getting constant BSODs and constant graphic driver crashes so I figured it was just a crappy windows install so I did it again and I quit seeing BSOD but I still get my graphic driver crashes. I started to think my ram is bad so I ran Memtest86+ And I got tons of red running the test. But it could also be my MOBO Capacitors. And then Just this morning I got the BSOD again and I saved the error report.

Hello WorriedinUtah.

Update your ATI/AMD display driver.
You can get it from the link in our forum, Latest AMD Catalyst Video Driver for Windows 7, or you may go to AMD Graphics Driver and Software and opt for Automatically Detect and Install the appropriate driver for your card.
During installation, you may opt for advanced installation, and install the display driver only, not the Catalyst Control Center.

Test your RAM modules for possible errors.
How to Test and Diagnose RAM Issues with Memtest86+
Run memtest for at least 8 passes, preferably overnight.

The BIOS needs to be updated. Search in motherboard manufacturer's site.

Basically, my computer has trouble rendering distances in most games, The game can run smoothly for a long time, and then I'll get to a large open area and my framerate will drop way down, to the point where I have to stare at the floor, wall or sky, to get past this area, and if It's a large open area where I have to kill a set number of enemies, then It becomes unpassable without a lot of stress, my graphics card isn't exactly great - In fact, I'm pretty sure I don't have one. Yes, the video card is holding you back. Adding more RAM may help, but probably not, as draw distance is really completely dependent on the video card, and you already have 1 gig, so more RAM won't really do much.

As far as switching things to a new computer - you may be able to, but not definitely. The RAM has to be the same type of RAM as the new computer will have, like DDR, or DDR2. And for the hard drive, you will be able to use it, but you'll probably have to reinstall Windows on the new computer, which means you would have to reinstall all of your programs as well. At least that's how it was on XP, I'm not sure if Vista will be able to handle a new system easier than XP could. All of your saved data and files will still be there though.

A friend named Harry owns a Dell Desktop about a year or so old. He is running Windows 7 and has the most recent Version 11 IE browser. The problem I am about to describe is not affecting any (all) other computers or any other laptop when connecting to the same wireless network in the same office.

OK, so Harry goes to an HHTPS secure login to access the admin panel of his website running a prestashop content management system. Once inside the admin panel of prestashop Harry's mouse will not work to click on image removal when attempting to swap product images, and the images actually do not appear on the admin panel back-end so even if Harry wanted to delete or swap he could not actually see the images in any event. But the moment Harry logs out and goes back to the front-end side of the website he can see the images displayed.

Using the identical version of IE as Harry does, I can access the admin panel, swap images, see the images, update text, save the changes and no issues no errors.

Harry's office administrator likewise can bring a laptop from home and has no issues no errors.

It all boils down to Harry's desktop using IE 11 and the problem began directly following a IE security update Harry believes late January / early February.

Is there a way to eliminate the update to his IE browser? Is there a work-around or some other solution to correct this issue with Harry's desktop?

I have been having some weird issues which I have tried to post on the browser forums or contact them directly about, but don't seem to be getting any constructive responses so hoping someone here may have figured this out. They vary but also overlap so I'll do my best to be clear.

First, I finally got a decent new computer a couple months ago (and many thanks to all of you who helped me with the previous one- it finally died and I never did figure out what went wrong!) so I have Win 7 now and also my first flat-panel monitor. When I got on the internet I noticed that almost every page I went to the type was really super-tiny. After researching I figured out how to do CTRL & scroll to enlarge the pages and fill the screen, although it is a bit of a pain to have to keep doing this every time I go to a new site. One problem is that Firefox, which was my favorite browser, will NOT fill the screen no matter what. Only the middle third of the display is taken up, and when I enlarge the text gets bigger but it does not take up any more screen space like the other browsers do.

The other issue I have is that I selected the Win 7 high-contrast black and pink theme. I really like it and would like to keep it, but... in Firefox as well as original Flock and IE all site backgrounds are black- even those that have particular backgrounds. Sometimes even some clickable buttons or photos on a page will be invisible, too, although in other cases they show. For instance... Read more

Hopefully I posted this in the correct location.

I am having some major issues with my internet connectivity for 2.5 days now. Here are the details.

About two days ago I started to notice that my messenger was disconnecting and reconnecting about 30-100 times in an hour. The disconnects and reconnects are brief 3-10 seconds long. When it occurs, my browsing of course is suspended and any downloads halt and usually don't continue.

I contact my provider, Qwest.net (Qwest Communications Telephone Company) and asked them what they thought. The first gal I spoke to said it sounded like the worm going around. I thought it was odd because I feel I protect myself very well, but I ran with it. I made sure I was updated with Symantec and I was. I checked to make sure I was updated via Microsoft and even downloaded their patch. I also download and ran the utilities on Syantec.com that searches specifically for the worms that are popular right now. Nothing was found.

I phoned back and they told me that... the connection has not been disrupted from what they could tell for 48 or so hours. They told me it had to be something from the modem to the computer.

Just to make sure it wasn't something with my PC, I took the time to re-install XP. I unplugged all network connections and the internet. Ran the setup, repartitioned, reformatted, reinstalled. Once I was installed, I setup my internet and immediately download the patches, updated Windows, and updated my virus protection.... Read more

However, when I tried on a different laptop all the captcha codes worked and I could sign up to istockphoto. I think there's something wrong with my laptop, does anyone have any ideas?

I'm using Google Chrome, and on both laptops they share the exact same settings but nothing works on my new laptop.

Hey everyone!

I hope I am posting this in the right section.

So the situation is as follow. About 2 weeks ago I've installed Windows7 32 Ultimate and since then these weird problems started appearing with my connection. I have a quite strong connection, and before everything worked perfect.

Two things I immediately noticed when started surfing the internet was that my load times increased in a great deal, and that it randomly times out webpages. For first I did not think it's a windows 7 problem, but when I connected my laptop to the same connection it worked just fine while a minute later the desktop pc had some major issues with the same web pages I tried to access with my laptop.

I thought it might be some malfunction in the connection or my drivers, so I updated to latest Ethernet drivers and waited for a few days to run my tests again. And it was the same deal. It's interesting thou, that my downloads and uploads for files work just fine. I've also tried multiple browsers including internet explorer, mozilla, chrome, netscape and opera. Same deal.

It's also very annoying , that my latency in games increased in a great deal, from the previous 10-20, I get 100-300 pings. The latency is not constant thou. It drops down to 10-20, then pops up to like 150 for like 5 seconds, then back down, swapping up and down in like 5-10 seconds all the time. It also causes the same latency problems with my skype conversations as well.

I usually figure out all my proble... Read more

Hi DazeenLow,

Please fill in your System Specs so that others can see what we're dealing with...

Try pinging the access point for few minutes, see if the "time" fluctuates as far as your in-game latency. If so, then your connection from laptop to the access point (the one that provides your with Wifi access) is the one that's lagging, check drivers. If the ping time is normal over several minutes, then it's time to troubleshoot your broadband connection. This might have to involve your ISP's technical support...

Not sure if this is the right place to post this, if it's not, I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction

Sorry for the vague title but I feel like I can't really sum it up in just a few words.

So basically, during the morning at around 9am, my internet somewhat loses connection, but only for certain things.

For example, I can't stream youtube using google chrome. It just doesn't work. If I click on a video, the screen will just stay white and nothing will load. However, I can stream youtube, even in HD, perfectly fine with no buffering problems if I use firefox.

Most online games also just lose connectivity. If I try to play Dota 2, sometimes it works fine for a few minutes but then my packet loss just becomes crazy high and eventually I just disconnect from the game.

If I play clash royale on my phone, it fails to connect. I just get a red connectivity error sign in the middle of the screen.

battle.net frequently disconnects.

A few online multiplayer browser games which I tested also suffer from the disconnection issue.

Interestingly, league of legends is fine during this whole 9am connectivity problem. I don't get any connectivity issues with that game.

Skype also loses connection every now and again during the mornings.

If I try to test my ping using pingtest.net, it will just continue testing forever but no number will ever be displayed. I guess it just times itself out or something. This happens in both ... Read more

So, everything was going fine, then all of the sudden, about 85% of my adbanners on sites turn into vimax ads. Every now and then, i can be downloading stuff on bittorrent, and play a game called runescape which is a browser based java game, but i cant even search google, or anything. I have norton gaming edition antivirus, and the sonar started picking up on files with a series of numbers then .tmp and would sometimes detect a trojan. I ran full system scans all day, and every time, it wouldn't pick up anything. but all day long, sonar would be bugging me. My thought is either a virus is intercepting my ads, or someone is spending billions of dollars to get their ad noticed! it is even on my site (mods4wxsand.tk) i use google adsense, and i get the ads there, and the freewebs ad banner sometimes gets it! Runescape.com gets those ads all over the site, but it doesn't seem like something they would approve, since it is a game geared for teens, and this ad is for something like viagra... Hello all! Just looking for a little help with (what I hope is) a minor issue.

As of 2 days ago my computer has been acting strange. It first started a couple of nights ago when out of nowhere graphical issues appeared on my screens, small squares of varying colours appeared all over. These squares are larger than a pixel but still quite small. the computer promptly crashed. It was about 3 am at this point so I just decided to go to bed and left it. Fast forward to today. After turning it on I got as far as the welcome screen. I put in my login details and shortly after the graphical issues appeared again, this time not only squares but whole sections changed colour and became vivid. I didn't even get to see the desktop before the computer restarted. After restarting the graphical issues were there from boot, but now were horizontal lines, not quite blocking the view but enough to be annoying. They seem to be there every time I start up now. I can't make it to the login screen any more as the computer restarts long before I make it there. My only option is to start in safe mode (with networking)at which point I can finally get on the computer. That graphical issues are still there and wont seem to vanish. On top of that I also got a few bluescreens between restarts, but due to the errors and the screens vanishing pretty quick I couldn't actually read the errors.

Memcheck says it can find no errors during the scan (although there are no graphical errors either... Read more

Hi there

Simple thing first, remove graphics card and use on board graphics. Check if that works..

Make sure the graphics card's fan is spinning and clean.

Remove graphics card and clean the graphics card's pins that connect to the main boards with isopropyl alcohol on a cloth, extremely small amount of alcohol. (No water or soaps at all)
Plug it back and check for difference.

I doubt it's a driver issue because you said you got the issue during boot as well, indicating a physical issue

Worst case, the graphics card needs to be replaced...

Hope this helps

Hi guys. I have a feeling my GPU is dead but thought i'd double check all bases. My GPU was working fine last night and has been for about 2 years or so now. This morning when i turned my PC on, i noticed i saw random artifacts on the screen and, when it got to Windows login, i noticed vertical red lines on the middle of the screen. I reset my PC and switched to onboard graphics and uninstalled my AMD driver and installed the latest.

When i switched back to the AMD GPU, i was browsing normally and all of a sudden my screen changed to like a black and white static page which i couldn't click out of. I'm currently using my Intel integrated graphics which there is no issue with.

Is my GPU dead? Its a AMD HD 7970 Lightning.

Hello. Lately I've been seeing a lot of graphical issues on everything that look like compression artifacts. I figured that before, on my smaller screen I just couldn't see them and they were just normal on TV shows and most people didn't care.

But it's happening in video game cutscenes (not in actual gameplay, though).

You might not be able to see these problems, it might just be me, but here goes nothing - these are from the opening cinematic in Hitman Absolution. Mainly noticeable in the edges, and also on the back of his head: (no real spoilers, literally first few seconds):

Link one

Link three

It's also happened in Max Payne 3 but I'm sure those screenshots will suffice.

So is this normal or is it some sort of problem with my computer? Even if you can't see them, can you just assume that I can and still try to diagnose my problem? Here are my specs:

CPU: Intel i53570k

Cooler: Thermalright Silver Arrow SB-E EXTREME
PSU: Corsair TX750w
SSD: Samsung 830 256GB

All my graphical drivers are up to date as far as I'm aware (using Catalyst 12.11).

My PC came with Windows 8 in mid-2013. Since then, I installed Windows 8.1 and finally 10 on it. About a month ago, I reset it (via Settings) due to many performance issues.

There are countless issues with my newly reset Windows 10 desktop PC. I registered today, so I don't know if this kind of thread (more than one issue) is allowed, so I just listed each issue, each grouped by the program(s) they affect, in a paste file here. I've tried updating my graphics card drivers, but to no avail. Hopefully some people can find a solution to some problems. Thanks to all in advance!

PS: I have two graphics cards, AMD Radeon HD 7670 and Intel HD Graphics 4600. According to DxDiag, the AMD one is favored for use over the Intel card. DxDiag won't let me save the information to a file, so here's a screencap of the Display tab.

EDIT: I should probably note that all of these problems resolve themselves after a reboot. Additionally, no other user accounts are affected, only mine. I know I can just create a new account and hope that the problems don't spread, but I would like to avoid that if possible.

A:Multitude of graphical issues with my Win10 PC

You could check in the BIOS to make sure the AMD card is set as the primary. Once that's done, what are the issues you are having with installing the driver? It should be very straightforward. You can grab the drive from AMD's website for your particular card and download it. I would put it on the desktop, then remove any AMD/ATI software related to your video card that you may have installed. Then, install what you downloaded.

The Intel "card" is actually built-in to your processor. It works for normal usage, but in terms of performance, the AMD add-in card is going to be faster.

I've had this computer for several months but only started gaming on it recently. I noticed all my games (CS, CS:S, BioShock, portal, sometimes warcraft3, starcraft does NOT have any problems) had these colored rectangles all over the place (http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/852/zmvc2officeattackb5a000st6.jpg). Apparently I've had this problem for a long time because I remember sometimes seeing them on my desktop when I first got my computer. So, I updated my drivers and it just worsened it. After 2-5 minutes, they all crash with a looping sound (I can only reboot at this point), and it looks like the higher my game video settings are, the quicker it happens and the more those rectangles appear.

I tried changing to omega and older ati drivers but the problems still persisted. I've also ran memtest with no errors reported, checked paged pool memory (http://support.steampowered.com/cgi...9zZWFyY2hfdGV4dD1wb3J0YWw*&p_li=&p_topview=1) which never went higher than 115MB (usually stayed in 70-90), and uninstalled nod32. Then I used system restore to before I first changed drivers and the crashes stopped (rectangles remained). Now I tried using driver cleaner and installing the latest drivers again but the crashes have come back just like before. I read it could be an overheating problem so I've ran speedfan and everything is in the 30-45C range except for AUX which is around 120C. I have no idea what AUX is or why its temperature is being read as above... Read more

A:Games Freeze and Graphical Issues...

It looks like your video card is overheating, or possibly damaged. Make sure the heatsink on the video card is firmly secured, and that the fan is working correctly, and maybe try pointing another fan at it or something, to see if it helps at all. If not, I would try returning the card if you can.

On second thought - do the rectangles appear at the same spot every time? Do you ever get like white dots all over the screen? It could just be driver issues, but initially, it looks like a hardware problem.

Memcheck says it can find no errors during the scan (although there are no graphical errors either during t... Read more

About 2 months ago my graphics started acting up, randomly deciding to crash and block application from graphical access. Specifically it says: "Display driver stopped responding and has recovered.Display driver Intel HD Graphics Drivers for Windows(R) stopped responding and has successfully recovered" about twice in rapid succession followed by another message:"Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware.Application .exe has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware" this issue multiple Video games aswell as Media players. I tried to download updated drivers but it seem to have made things even worse with crashes occurring much more frequently even occurring when I am watching video on a media player(initially it only effected 3D apps and games). Lenovo solution center software however says everything is fine on its tests.Using a Lenovo B5400 Laptop, Intel HD Graphics 4600.

So, I bought my Thinkpad Edge E555 less then a year ago. The left 'Ctrl' became permanently loose after only a few days, and little to no use, but that issue was solved excellently by Lenovo, by sending me a new drop-in keyboard. Since November though, I have been having some graphical issues as well: it occurs in multiple games which otherwise run perfectly fine, and for which my system's specifications easily surpass both the minimum and recommended specifications. Some objects have black, partially black/broken or alltogether missing textures. It does not occur all the time, when it does happen, it happens to different objects every time in the same games (e.g. one time it may be quest markers, the other time it may be chests or weapons). Also, other games show blank or low resolution  textures on boot, at the start of each session, but these textures might pop up after half a minute or so. An Ati/AMD support employee suggested reverting to Catalyst 15.7.1 WHQL drivers (from current issue Crimson drivers), and initially that did seem to contain the problem somewhat. After a while though, problems seem to be getting progressively worse. After playing for a while, games might show 'black skies' or untextured ground upon loading a new map. I've experimented with both the new Crimson Beta drivers, as with 16.3.2 WHQL. Initially the Beta drivers gave some decent results, as long as I turned off stuff like "morphological filtering". However, newer beta drivers, as... Read more

Hey guys recently started having a problem with my GPU (I think it is my GPU) it's a Nvidia 8800GT 512Mb Overclocked.

Was playing COD 6 then suddenly was having major graphic glitches at a certain level. These problems extended to when I am not playing COD 6. Got all the newest drivers and such.

What I am talking about is when I turn my computer on. Even at the BIOS my screen starts to get little dots and lines all over it in weird places. I can move the mouse but after a few seconds half the screen cuts to black and rest looks really pixelated...

Any idea what's going on? The whole thing looks like some sort of sick green pizza...

Thanks for any help.

I've been having major issues lately with my computer. Games I am playing are crashing at random times (with random intervals inbetween them). I get wierd graphical bugs in a lot of games I play (screenshots will be provided). I have not done any changes what so ever (both hardware and software) in the recent time before this started.

GFX: AMD Radeon HD 7970/R9 280X
CPU: Intel Core i5-6600K
MB: MSI Z170A KRAIT GAMING 3X (MS-7A11) / Chipset (Intel Z170 (Skylake PCH-H)
SSD: Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
OS: Win10 PRO

The game I'm having issues with are currently:

Dark Souls 3 (Crashes and graphical bugs).
Neverwinter (Crashes and graphical bugs).
Hearthstone (No crashes but pixelated hero portraits).
Overwatch (Pixelated and artifacts).

Have tried the following troubleshooting:
1. Update drivers
2. Re-installed Windows 10.
3. Cleaned my computer (both component wise and software).

Below are two links with pictures representing the issues I have, and I also did a benchmark where I post temps and such. I got no errors in the benchmark what so ever (it ran probably 15-20 minutes).

Any help is appreciated.

I have a laptop, HP Pavillian 64bit, running Windows 7 Home Edition.  It's mostly used by my mom and she recently decided to remove Firefox and just use Internet Explorer.  The past couple weeks, Internet Explorer hangs and hangs and hangs.  I can barely do anything.  I've tried installing Firefox back on there, but whenever I try to start up a browser session it says Cannot find profile.  Anyways...I could really use some help cleaning it up or something.  I took a look at a few other posts of people using the same laptop with same type of issues and started following the moderators suggestions.  I ran MiniToolBox and am posting the results below.  I'm tempted to run AdwCleaner and Junkware Removal Tool, but figured I should probably stop and wait for some advice from people with more experience than I.

Hello all!

So here's my problem: the laptop I am working on is unable to browse any external websites using Internet Explorer or Safari. This happens on both LAN and WLAN connections.

The weird thing is that it gets an IP address no problem and is able to browse the local network, ping all external sites using IP or domain name. The browser is able to access local intranet sites.

System Specs:
Dell Vostro 1500 notebook
Windows XP Professional SP3
Dell Wireless 1390 WiFi card
1.60GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Here are the things I've tried:
1. Proxy settings and autodetect are turned OFF
2. Norton 360 has been removed (using Norton Removal Tool just in case)
3. Windows Firewall is OFF
4. Tried alternate DNS servers
5. Tried the TCP/IP and Winsock reset commands in command prompt
6. Scanned for malware using Malwarebytes (clean)
7. Ran HijackThis and found nothing suspicious
8. Disabled any non-essential services and applications from starting at boot time
9. Tried safe mode, no luck
10. Reset IE via Internet Options

Note: All other PCs on the network are able to access the internet just fine, so there's no issue with the router/firewall.

I am completely mind blown as what to try next short of a reinstall. Feel free to ask for any logs, data, etc. I'd appreciate any help/tips I can get.

I would also if winsockfix does not work, try the system admin account and see if it is the same problem on there.

Hi there,
I have a gateway netbook running on XP.

Mbam tells me I have Trojan.KillAV and Pum.Hijack.Regedit, and they come back after removal on startup (even in safe mode).

I am also having some weird browser issues. Firefox closes down if I search certain things on google. E.g., when I search "Forum tech guy" and click on "Virus & Other Malware Removal", the browser closes. But doesn't if I click on any other part of the forum. Same thing happens if I google "Trojan Kill.AV removal tool" and click on a site.

Also, I have intermittent wireless connection to the internet. If I use windows restore and go back to a point where the internet was working, it works fine for 20 mins and then stops connecting to the internet. But my wireless has no trouble detecting signals. I figure it is associated to viruses because no other device is having trouble connecting to the internet.

Here are the logs. Thank you

In the middle of developing 2 sites, and experiencing issues with viewing the pages in Internet Explorer for both in areas. I think both are related to issues with the CSS of the pages.

So the 1st one is the below:

The 2nd site I have an issue with is the below:

Hello all,

Recently my computer under gaming conditions started exhibiting graphical issues in which black / white squares would appear on the display area before crashing. This progressed to more serious graphical issues frequently resulting in BSOD. I took the video card to a friends card where it came up with the same / similar errors (Error 42 on Device Manager), only thing I can think of now is possibly to flash the video card BIOS?

OS (&Original): Windows 7 Home Premium x64
OS Version: OEM - Although I don't think there are any changes
Hardware Age: All 3 Years (Broke 3 years to the day)

CPU: Intel i-7 2600k
Video Card: Nvidia GTX 570
Mother Board: ASUS P8Z68-V LX
Memory: 2x Kingston DDR3 4GB PC10666

Sorry that I haven't provided logs from Performance Monitor as my video card is currently sitting in a box beside me - but just say if they are required and I'll pop it in and give it a whirl.

Any help / confirmation (even if of death of the video card) would be amazing.

I'm running Windows XP on the laptop, with a Netgear wireless USB adapter. I don't understand how some programs can access the net, but browsers can't?

Software developed by Comodo appears to be hit by some compatibility issues with Windows 10 Creators Update, so all users are urged to install the most recent versions before performing the upgrade to the latest OS release pushed by Microsoft earlier this month.

In an advisory posted on its website, Comodo says that Comodo Internet Security (CIS) / Comodo Firewall / Comodo Antivirus must be updated to version or higher, while in the case of Comodo Cloud Antivirus, the installed version must be 1.10.413855.478 or higher.

It appears that some of the users who don?t install the latest versions of Comodo software are experiencing what the security vendor describes as ?severe graphical issues,? so everyone is strongly recommended to update the applications before anything else.

?Do not install the Windows 10 'Creator' upgrade until you have confirmed your Comodo product is updated to one of the versions listed above. Please postpone the Windows update until you have made this check,? Comodo says in a warning.

Too late? No problem
In case you?ve already installed the Creators Update with the old Comodo software running on your system and you experience the glitches mentioned above, there?s no other workaround that removing the antivirus completely. If the operating system performance returns to normal, you can then re-install the latest version of Comodo to see if it makes any difference.

To update Comodo Antivirus, all you have to do is to ... Read more
