Q: X1 Yoga 3rd gen bad CPU Bechnmark results when connect to Display Lenovo P27h-10

Hello when i run a CPU Benchmark like Cinebench 15 or CPU-Z connect to a Lenovo PH 27h-10 Display via USB-C cable I only have about 50% of the Bechmark result as if I run the benchmark standalone. Any suggestion ? All drivers are up to date. Bios 1.11. Type C cable is original Lenovo. Just tested with a HDMI cable. With HDMI the benchmark results are similar to the standalone benchmarks. syntron

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

A:Lenovo Thinkpad X1 yoga 1st gen connect 2 external monitors apart from laptop display via onelink VG

Hi,

The way I read the X1YG1 base specs it supports two independent monitors.  Apologies, but I can't quite parse your post.  Does "apart from laptop screen" mean that you want 3 monitors total, or two and the laptops's display is off?

supports external digital monitor via HDMI or Mini DisplayPort;supports dual independent displays;

Hi All Recently our company purchase a bulk of x1-carbon and P27h-10 monitors. However we are expericing issues when we try to connect the laptop back to the monitor after some time. It does not wake up from the power saving mode. Even restarting the laptop does not solve this issue. We need to keep restarting multiple times and by chances it will be detected. This happens only with the x1-carbon laptops and we have no issues with other brand laptops like Dell. Just to note we have already update the firmware and drivers for the x1-carbon. The Lenovo on-site engineer have also replcace out display ports and motherboard of the notebook but the problem still exist till date.

Cannot get the display connect to the laptop through the included USB-C cable. Tried using both available ports, and through a docking. Windows detects that something is connect, but says ?Display connection might be limited?. The display doesn't appear in device manager, only the USB hub on the display.  Laptop is updated with latest windows. Also tried updating the thunderbolt 3 firmware. DisplayPort through DP cable on dock works fine.

Picked up a Lenovo Yoga 11s from Best Buy.  I chose Best Buy for price, color, and processor.  They had a slightly better deal than Lenovo.com.  The clementine color looks great.  Quality is great.  I'm very happy with the purchase.  It has the i5 processor, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD. I upgraded the SSD and RAM and found the upgrade relatively easy.  Here is a basic step by step and results.  (note the parts I chose increased the cost by close to $400.  I chose these parts based on quality, performance, and power usage.  There are cheaper alternatives, but I wanted an upgrade and money was not my concern.) Upgraded PartsRAM - Patriot Memory 8GB PC3-12800 1600MHZ CL11 1.35V - Purchased at Newegg, but could have saved a couple dollars on Amazon. I chose this part based on previous experience with Patriot and the low voltage RAM.  A lot of the RAM is higher voltage and I wanted to make sure I reduced heat and power usage.  When you look for 1.35V RAM, there are not a lot of options... MSata SSD Drive - Intel SSD 525 Series 240GB DriveIntel SSD PageI purchased through Newegg I chose the Intel drive based on previous experience with Intel.  They cost more, but I've found their performance to be good and reliability good.  There is also a good review on this drive on Tomshardware Tomshardware Intel 525 Review.  Toms review shows top performing drive and low power.  I also looked a... Hi there LENOVO Community, I´ve bought an ultrabook, model YOGA 710-11 ISK  last year at BestBuy, but only started using it near a month ago and after some hours of use, suddenly the screen was gone, I mean I can turn the laptop on but nothing goes to the screen, got totally off. It was bought on Oct 19th 2016, so it is under the warranty period. I live at Melborne Beach, where is the nearest office to send it to be checked and repaired ? How is the warranty process ? I mean is it possible to send it by mail with a copy of receipt  or does Lenovo could take it at home ? Thanks in advance,Fernando

I'm planning on getting the 15 inch 720, with 16gb ram 512gb on Best Buy, and I know you can connect displays to the 720 via USB C display port, but what if I want to use it for an extra display for my desktop when I'm at home? How'd I do this? Would I still be able to use the touch screen and the pen pressure as a display? This is the most important part. I would love to use it to draw on there! So far I can't find info on this strangely!Would be cool if I could draw on it with my more capable desktop when I want to! ovo

Hi, I have a Lenovo Yoga 3 14, but it seems to be having some issues with power, here's what I've tried so far and the results. 1. Running with just battery: Device powers on for about 15-20 seconds, can hear the internal workings going on, such as the fan, and then it suddenly shuts down. Nothing ever displayed on the screen. 2. Running with just battery plugged into TV with HDMI: Same as before, except the TV shows Windows 10 booting up, it gets to the "Please Wait" screen just before Windows asks you to login, and then the laptop shuts down before it ever gets to the Windows login screen. 3. Running with Battery and Power adapter plugged in: Identical to 1 and 2. Whenever the battery is in, the display NEVER works. 4. Running with Battery unplugged from the Motherboard and the Power adapter plugged in: Display works on laptop, and the device runs reasonably smoothly, but still shuts down randomly sometimes, quite often when playing games, if I'm just messing around with word processing or internet browsing, it can last hours before it shuts down. Can withstand the Lenovo solution center testing (Full CPU and disk load) without powering down. I'm at a loss as to what's wrong with it, I assumed it was a power problem, and the battery alone can't send enough power to run the display, whereas the AC power supplies more power, but it still shuts down randomly sometimes, and the laptop is on a solid desk, it's not caused by the l... Got this message from the customer service it worked for me I hope it will help The symptoms you have described indicate an error that may have been caused by a slight surge of tension. Therefore, a residual current discharge is necessary. This discharge eliminates residual currents in the internal components of your notebook. Please carry out the following steps so that the device is ready for use as soon as possible: 1. Turn off your notebook.2. Now disconnect all devices from your notebook (printers, scanners, hard disks).3. Also remove the memory card in the card reader when plugged in.4. Connect the power cable to the device.5. Now press the NOVO button (on the side of your notebook or next to the power button, curved arrow to indicate) and select the bios.6. Remove the power supply again.7. Now let the notebook run in the BIOS until it shuts itself off8. Now hold down the power button on the notebook for about ten seconds.9. Next, plug the power cord back into the device and allow the battery to charge.10. Now you can turn the notebook on again. Experience has shown that the notebook now works perfectly again

[email protected], hopefully someone can help.  I got a Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro 13 80HE004LGE for half a year.  Intel Core M-5Y70 1.1 GHz + Intel HD Graphics 5300, Kerntakt: 100-850 MHz, Dual-Channel, 20.19.15.4444 I used it with an external DELL 24" screen in extension setup WUXGA 1920 x 1200 pixel. Worked without any problem. Now changed the screen: DELL 27" (Dell U2713HM) . This screen should be able to provide WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixel but max I can choose in the set up (Win 10) is Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel. I did the full program; 1. deleting drivers (Graphic and Monitor) reinstalled newest versions provided from Lenovo/Dell website,2. tried 3 different cables (HDMI and DVI), no differences :-(3. Installed Dell SetUp tool4. Installed intel set up tool (Could enter the high resolution manually here as personal setting, but does not work either) Nothing helped :-( screent stays on 1920 x 1080 :-( This 27" screen was running connected to a MacBook Pro without any problem in max. resolution 2560 x 1440 before.  Due to my research the Intel HD 5300 should be able to handle 2560 x 1440. Looking forward to helpful repliesDennis

Something odd.  I got the Windows 10 Anniversary Update a couple of days ago (Aug 3 2016).I usually keep my screen resolution at 1600x900 (easier on my aging eyes for everyday use).Now I have noticed that when I reboot, my login screen is garbled - only the top-left quarter of the login screen can be seen.  I need to shutdown and restart, and then all is fine.This only happens after a full reboot (not a hibernate), and only seems to be the 1600x900 resolution. 3200x1800 (the native resolution) and 1920x1080 do not seem to exhibit this issue.Note that all three of the above-mentioned resolutions have the same aspect ratio Any ideas?  Is it just me? Thanks!

I bought this Lenovo Yoga 900 Orange on Arpil 8 2016. Today is June 8 2016, I have to make this post.  I was in the meeting yesterday and taking note on MS words. And that was the only program that I opened at that time. Suddenly, the screen turn pitch black on me. I thought that it was the display driver again. Yet this time it stopped for at least 15 minutes, and I had to switch to pen and paper to take note of the meeting. During that time, I try to restart the computer by hitting the power button. Until the third time, the screen was coming back to me. This is very awful.  I bought this machine and heard the rumor that its display driver is not good. But I DO NOT expect it to be that bad. Before the major incident above, the driver did stop 3 times in the past, but it restarted within second. I did a little research and knew that other users had to deal with that too. So I thought that once in a while the screen will die for several seconds, and it was ok with me.  Yesterday, during my meeting, stop more than 15 minutes. Unbelievable!!!.  I want to return the product. Please guide me through this process. If I have to pay the 15% fee, I will do it.

Hello Team, On Sept 8 2018, when I start my Lenovo Yoga 500 15ibd laptop, the display has turned sometimes pink, purple or green.  I noticed that there is no black.  All things that should be in black in videos and application displays are shown in pink.And I can see background screen of my previous display in the shadow all in pink too.  I started to research on youtube on how to fix it.  I updated all my graphic card drivers and even check if there are no pending windows 10 updates.  I tried going to BIOS as you previously advised another user with similar problems and the screen problem is still persist in BIOS.  I plugged my laptop to my big 55 inch flat screen TV and the display looks normal on my big flat screen TV.  So is this an LCD problem.  My laptop's warranty has already expired.  I bought my laptop Jan 2018 brand new from a local store as it was on 30% discount sale.  It never occurred to me that the unit is already out of warranty with lenovo as it is a 2015 model.  The store only give 6 months warranty for laptops on sale as normally they extend 12 months warranty on labor and parts for laptops on regular price.  So lenovo do not have a warranty on my laptop anymore at the time I bought it even though it is brand new at the time of purchase.  Based the lenovo website, my laptop's warranty ended Sept 2017 and I bought it Jan 2018.  I think lenovo should have extended my warranty for ... Hello, I Have a Thinkpad X1 Yoga 3rd gen. After Updating the Display Optimizer from 1.5... to 2.0. i noticed, that the installation was not successfull although there was no error.Lenovo Vantage shows me still an update for the display Optimizer. This time there is no older version but Vantage shows me the message: There is no Version installed. The Folder /Plugins with the file ChromaTunePackage doesn't exist on my device.Even with the new Version of Display Optimizer 2.1.3.0 there is no change. Every other driver is the latest version. I'm using the preinstalled Version of Windows 10.I hope someone can held me here
