Video Streaming sound issues

Q: Video Streaming sound issues

Hi guys,

Not sure if this is the place to post this issue but here goes:

When i try to watch videos (streaming from websites) the video and sound are in sync with each other. However after about 15 minutes in, they start to get out of sync and it gets progressively worse as time goes on. (The sound comes through about 2-3 seconds before the video). Is there anything i can do about this problem? i'm fairly sure my laptop is up to the challenge as it is a brand new Dell Inspiron with dual-core processor running Vista.

Any Suggestions would be appreciated.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

A:How can I get sound output from sound card when streaming video?

Hello green,

You get sound from your microphone? I don't think I am understanding. Sound should come from your sound card. You plug the speakers into the back of the computer and into the sound card (green jack). The mic receives sound. My mic is USB so it doesn't use any jack other than the USB port, but if you use the sound card, it goes into the purple jack

Do you have the audio driver installed? This should be right: http://support.acer.com/product/defa...x?modelId=2192

Recently my desktop decided it wasn't going to co-operate anymore. After a lot of googling and many patience lost I decided I would throw in the towl and ask for help lol.
I have no sound whatsoever, not from mp3s and not from streaming. Streaming video chops every half a second, but I can play downloaded avi video, still with no sound.
I ran malware bytes, no infections. and nothing from avg.
I tried system restore, both times it failed for some reason, at 2 different restore points.
my video card is working and so is my sound card.
im a do it yourself type person but this one has me beat, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

A:Suddenly, no windows sound and no streaming video/sound.

I have the same problem.  Yesterday morning I booted up and all of a sudden there is no sound.  And Windows media player will not work ... no video or audio.  I have checked all cables and connections...plugged in different speakers and checked for system sounds which don't work as well.  I get video  from movies and videos with GOM player and internet videos but no sound.
About concluded that motherboard may be cause, but really don't want to install a new one.
Does anyone have a better idea?
Please advise

Hi guys,

This is my first post on this forum and it looks like a ocean of knowledge, which is what I've been looking for.

I've have an issue with a friends PC that I said I would look into for him.

Basically he can open video files mpeg, avi, mov etc... when loading them from his hdd but as soon as he goes online to say bbci player, youtube, myspace etc he cannot view the video and his PC locks up and you have to pull the power to restart as task manager won't open to close the browser.

He's tried explorer and mozilla but the problem appears on both browsers.

Strange thing is if the stream is set to open with mediaplayer it runs fine, so it's leading me to believe that it's a codec issue.

I've set default player as mediaplayer but still BBCi player won't I've sorted him out with the lastest Divx and drivers/firmware versions for all hardware.

I know youtube uses a flash player so is there a specific codec for media player to run flash streams?

All comments welcome as I'm starting to rn out of ideas.

Thanks for reading.

Firstly run IE Reset (I know it's both, but please follow the steps)
How to use Reset Internet Explorer Settings (RIES)

Then CCleaner

Then to go to http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/flash/trigger/en/3/index.html and install the latest Flash Player

Then update your Java

Then run the defaults on your personal Firewall (or uninstall, for the moment)
Also confirm you don't have another background pogram running like Spybots S&D

Then (after a restart or two) try the video pages again

Still faulty?

Hello everyone. Thanks for taking time to read this, I really appreciate it.

So, here's how it goes. All of a sudden, I've been having strange video streaming issues with my laptop. I've had it for about eight months now, and everything has always worked just fine. Now, when going to places like Youtube, Hulu, Comedy Central, Megavideo etc, the buffering is just not happening well at all. I could watch 90 minute videos in 720p on Youtube and would never have an issue. I've tested the video in IE (ugh) and it all seems to be working fine. But I can't go back to IE. I just can't stand it. I've gotten spoiled with AdBlock and I can never go back. (Tested with AdBlock uninstalled as well, with no luck.)

So far I've uninstalled and reinstalled Flash and Firefox. Reset my computer, and router. Cleared cache, temp files, history. I am fully optimized with zero viruses or spyware of any kind. Always defrag-ed and all that maintenance jazz.

I have for the last four days been experiencing some extremely slow video streaming problems with all website involving flash (netflix, youtube, hulu, etc.). The video will play for about 2 minutes and then stop, then play again for 2 minutes, then stop. Buffering is extremely slow, even with my network operating at the same speed. This problem started happening when adobe flash updated to version

I went through a series of steps I will describe below.

Here is a description of my system:
ASUS UL50AT Notebook
Windows 7 64 bit
Mobile Intel (R) Series 4 Express Chipset - with latest driver (2/11/11) - 1 GB
Adobe Flash version (updated)
2.52 Mbps download, 1.52 Mbps upload speed (AT&T DSL)
Firefox 5.0 and IE 9.0.8112.1611
2GB RAM (only about 10% used during heavy internet use)

I started out by cleaning my cache and registry. I did so on firefox cleaning out everything, then went on my Registry Mechanic and did the same thing. Didn't fix it.

I then updated my graphics card driver to the latest version (as in above). It is surprising to me that their latest driver is from 2/11/11, but that was the latest they had.

I tried using IE instead of firefox with netflix, hulu, and youtube. Got the same issue.

I tried streaming video without my wireless card, going directly through my router via ethernet cable. Video streaming issues persisted. Also did a speed test and got same results as with wi... Read more

Hey, after a leap of faith I finally made the shift to vista. But for some reason, I have sound when I play a local video/music file, but a video, on say youtube/stage 6, will have no sound output. The same problem is happening on both firefox and opera, and both of them have played both sound and video at one point or another.
I have tried:
1) Reinstalled sound card driver, then found and updated version and tried that as well.
2) Reinstalled flash on more than one occasion.
3) Tried the old fix with CCleaner's Adobe Flash scan.

Hello to everyone.

Currently I am trying to use WMP 12 to stream video files from my PC to my PS3. On a minimal install of windows 7 x64, I have ffdshow x86 and x64, as well *** haali x86 and x64, so I am able to stream mkv video files.

The PS3 is only receiving the video from the mkv files, the audio is not being streamed. I have tried streaming avi files, and both video and audio do stream. As well, the mkv files play with video and audio on the pc without any additional codecs.

Looking for any help on this issue, as I am stumped beyond belief. Thanks in advanced to all

Howdy and Hey, I recently upgraded to WMP 10 , since doing so I have lost the ability to watch videos on the web. I can watch the ads before the video but when it starts the video just goes " buffering 00/100% " never plays buffers for about 2 minutes, with no increase in percentage, then flips to "playing 0:00/ 4:28" , but never plays anything. Black screen and no audio. If anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it. I have tried numerous times with firewall turned off anti-virus shut down and everstuff, no dice!

Hello! To keep it long story short, when using websites to stream videos with a friend it lags on my end which makes the video skip around and overall do other unpleasant things. This lag is not present when I watch videos with myself, and this happens on both firefox and chrome. I used to be able to stream without any problems, but this has been happening for atleast a good month or 3 now and I haven't done anything except for switch which browser I use. I've tried cleaning my web browser, cleaning up my computer, switching from wireless to wired internet, etc. My notebook is currently wired to a modem that is hooked up to the "family" computer, a desktop using windows 7.
A list of streaming websites I use and the symptoms I experience are
watch2gether.com and mycircle.com - Video pauses without me touching anything. When I sent a message in chat, it doesn't appear until seconds later.
watch2gther.com only - Chat "refreshes" itself (i.e. reloads everything said).
mycircle.com - Getting "sync aborted" messages. When I refresh the page the only thing that loads is the top banner and a blank chat.

I have e-mailed mycircle.com about what was going on, they said
The problem you describe seems to be linked to a saturation of the memory used by the processes of your browser while using mycircle.Click to expand...

When I watch streaming movies the sound levels are uneven. In order to hear the talking part of the movie I have to max the sound level, but then when music or action sound Fx appear the sound is way too loud. The voice level even at max is barely adequate - if an actor whispers even at max sound level it is barely audible. It is frustrating to have to constantly turn the sound volume up and down to watch the movie. I originally had this problem even playing commercial DVD's but solved it by downloading a player with decent audio controls. My VLC player as a "sound leveling" control that solved the problem. Is there anyway to fix this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

This is a bit of a complicated issue, and I'll admit I'm over my head on this one. I have a Gateway laptop running Vista SP1 that is connected to my home wireless network. The wireless connection will work great....except when I try to stream any video. Once I stream video, within 10-15 minutes of the video starting my wireless connection will go from Connected to Limited or No Connectivity. If I am doing anything else on the web, be it reading web pages, streaming audio, or anything else that does NOT involve video I will stay connected.

Here's where things get stranger, when I go into Network & Sharing Center to try to repair the connection, I'm unable to do so. If I try to disconnect from the network, Network & Sharing Center will stop responding and cause Windows Explorer to crash. Checking the culprit of the crash I noted that svchost.exe is causing the system to crash. Once Windows Explorer restarts, I'm able to use the computer normally, except when I try to get back into Network & Sharing Center, Windows Explorer will stop responding and crash. The only way I can resolve this is to restart the computer.

I originally thought that this was an issue to a recent Windows Update, so I performed a System Restore to before the updates, which did not resolve the issue. I'll be happy to provide any more information if asked later on, and any advice would be helpful.

So here's my problem

When I watch YouTube videos I get random stutters where the sound skips. The image doesn't seem to freeze though, just the sound

I also get issues with the sound streaming music online, where it pauses for a second and stutters even though it's not buffering.

When this happens, NT Kernel & System shoots up in task manager and uses more CPU than the browser. This by the way happens in every browser, IE, Chrome or Firefox.

It doesn't happen when playing music in iTunes or watching videos from my hard drive.

That being said I'm not posting about a buffering type stutter, I am aware of that and this is not it. This is like basically suddenly the computer has a big spike in memory or cpu usage and the video/sound clip stutters for a sec. But it happens often enough to be very annoying. In a 15 min YouTube clip it happened 10 times.

I have reinstalled my IDT High Definition Codec and my Intel HD Graphics 4000 driver, but still the problem persists.

Any thoughts of what I can do?

A:Sound stutters when streaming video or audio online.

Try this test: Start a Youtube video and immediately hit the pause button. Watch the movement of the red progress bar until it fully loads the video. This obviously eliminates any buffering issues if the problem is still there when you try to play the video this way. You might also want to do a speed test on you internet connection. Here are my results:

Now, I know you are convinced that it is absolutely not a buffering issue and you have done nice testing to that end; however, I would still try the tests as described above. Good luck.

Ok,Here is the issue with this sound card. First off it's a nice Diamond (great cards) Xtreme Sound 5.1. The problem I have with it is it's affected by certain videos. Youtube it plays fine.....until you go into Full Screen mode, then it's garbled...you can't make it out what anyone is saying during play back in F\S mode. Another problem I have is Encoding videos do the exact same thing!

Last night I downloaded a freeware program that was on my old box called "Panzera mp4 to avi converter 1.3" it's a great program. My Camera uses the Mp4 format and I am not too fond of quicktime just to run that format. The reason I am trying to convert them is to kill the file size and make "nolstalgia" DvD for the family. the Mp4 plays fine however,no sound problems in the original clip.

My video and sound cards are up to date, My video card is a Geforce 8400 GS. Running on a AMD Athlon 64 processor at 2.20 ghz with 1 gb of ddr. Anyone ever had this problem? I tried Divx and Xvid thinking it was a codec problem. boy was I wrong. any suggestions is welcomed.

Update:This isn't really an update but I found out something weird. My video playback with Wmv,Mpeg,Avi,Asf ETC. is always garbled. No matter if it's online or on the computer the playback audio is garbled. What could be causing this. I uninstalled,re-installed Diamond Xtreme soundcard drivers. I installed DirectX9.0c, I have Divx and Xvid codecs. My sound drivers are up to date. I unhooked the onboard sound and uninstalled sound max after buying the Diamond. A friend told me I should disable the onboard sound entirely but I can't find the option in the bios. My mother board is a "Asus A8x socket 939" board. Any helps please? I am desperate!

I recently installed windows vista 64 and now i cannot get digital sound output. On board sound Asus m2n4sli mobo realtek ac97 driver. Windows shows it working but its not coming out of jack. I have installled all the vista 64 drivers from realtek including the beta drivers only to find that none of them show as digitally signed - seems odd, as vista requires signed drivers, that realtek would offer unsigned drivers for vista. Anyone out there in the big wide world know where i can get a digitally signed driver?
On the graphics front I have two nvidia8600gt's again downloaded latest drivers but I cannot get them to work in sli config - in fact cannot find option to select sli . When looking in device manager it says not enough resources for second card code 12 , i have 5 gb ram, what do they mean by resources? - After much research i have found that there are no drivers out there to support sli on vista 64 as yet.

I immediately assumed it was just my soundcard crashing and dying on me. The sound would randomly cut out. I'd reboot and all would be fine. But as of late, it's been cutting out audio a few seconds after booting up. I'd hear the login music, then nothing after that point. Videos would only play for exactly two seconds before keeling over. Again, I assumed it was merely the card, and did a simple relog. So I go to log out, and a bunch of programs I'd never even heard of were crashing left and right. And just before logout, I hear the exit music play. In addition, my calculator, MSPaint, and sound recorder programs have all mysteriously vanished, as well. No trace, not way to get them back, even with the windows CD. System restore is off. Basically, every once in a while my sound will stop working, in turn all video plays extremely slow. Other symptoms... Watching WMP play a song is also slow (the timer moves slow). I think at the same time, anything flash stops working and reports a crash. The fix to this is rebooting the computer, and the frequency of this event is quite random. This is more of a nuisance than it is a problem. Sometimes it happens after a few hours, sometimes after a day.

Hey there,

Since December I have had this computer I built and it's been running great! Just this last weekend though something happened and now it just crawls along. This is on windows 7.

17 920 processor
12gb Dominator Corsair Ram
ATI 5870 1gb graphics card
150gb velociraptor hard drive
EVGA E760 classified mobo

The computer recognizes all of this as working on my comp, however if I try and play music or play a game I can't get above 5 fps.

So what's going on is any time I turn it on the sound is extremely distorted, the video lags like a mother and my processor is on high usage even just at start up with nothing running. I have no extra tasks going (even after format same issue)

This happened after I took out my graphics card, ram, and other things to clean it and put it back. To resolve this problem I have re-seated everything, including the processor to make sure they are all good, the problem still persists... I have updated my video and sound drivers which does not fix the issue, I have reverted to a previous state on my drive before this happen and it still persists, I have even formatted and re-installed windows, I've made sure all my IDE drives are running on ultra dma, no luck.
So basically I've come to the assumption that it must be my hardware causing the issue. It really seems like the CPU might be the bad egg, however it always runs at about 40 C which is no where near an overheat / damaging temp.

I've been having some rather annoying issues with with my new pc. I built a custom machine using a new mobo, power supply, ram, dvd-rom, video card, and the old sound card from my last pc. I noticed at start-up that no bios was showing up..which scared me..but windows xp installation went smoothly. After reboot, however, I noticed that the colors were a bit messed up...and the further I got through start-up...the worse the video got. I ended up with lines and then everything went all checker board on me. I replaced the 256mg AGP ATI Radeon 9550 with my old 64mg GeForce 4 mx-se and that fixed the video prob. But after installing the sound card drivers and software (Creative Audigy 2 ZS platinum)...the software wont recognize the card..even though windows does and I get sound. My friend suggested that maybe my power supply wasn't powerful enough (600) or just bad. I've spent hours trying to find solutions online but found nothing. If anyone has a theory on how to fix the video and sound probs..I'd be grateful.

hmm.. lets try doing a bit of troubleshooting...

I replaced the 256mg AGP ATI Radeon 9550 with my old 64mg GeForce 4 mx-se and that fixed the video probClick to expand...

have you tried to test the 9550 on another pc if it runs ok?

PSU issue.. he is valid on this.. what brand is it? you may have guessed (search 'psu' on this forum) by now how many issues are related to cheap/noname psu's.. even if its a top quality brand just for teh sake of elimination, test in another pc...

update chipset drivers and bios flash, as well as any windows sp's and updates, and drivers updates.. you can get info on the mobo specs (or other hardware) if you dont have its box etc by using a program like everest home or SIW...

try swaping to a different slots (if available) for the audigy and the 9550 and see how that goes.. and since its a custom pc, did you build it yourself or a friend or company? just double check everything is seated properly (might as well pull everything out and reseat them), check for shorting to the case on the mobo, and theres no sign of physical handling damages...

For about a week my sound has been running about 3 seconds behin the video. It's extremely confusing and makes it difficult to play.
My own footsteps sound like someone sneaking up on me.
I even checked lot of technical support videos for any solution.
Am I the only one with this issue?
Any suggestions on whats wrong and how to fix it? I've got a high end computer running easily at max setting.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.

Had a XFX Radeon HD 6770 in one slot, and below it was a SIIG 7.1 Channel C-Media chip sound card.

When the second XFX Radeon HD 6770 came in along with the crossfire bridge, I had to relocate the sound card to a different slot inbetween both video cards.

Now, anytime I go into something graphics intensive (video games), I get a nearly constant high pitch squelching/buzzing sound.

I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the sound card drivers to no avail.

Tried my onboard card, and it does NOT give this buzz, but I have two issues with this. First is that for some reason, my onboard sound card only streams sound to the left speaker. The right remains dead. Secondly, I dont wanna use onboard lower quality when I paid good money for a PCI card.

I suddenly have no sound, the microphone doesn't work and videos won't play online (youtube, etc.). I found out while trying to Skype that there was no sound and the microphone doesn't work anymore (Viber also doesn't work and neither does the call function via Facebook). I have used Skype before on this computer and it worked fine then. All the devices (drivers) are working properly (no yellow exclamation marks of doom) and I haven't changed any settings that I know of. What on earth is going on? I can't even listen to any music! (and yes, I did check that the volume is up).

A:Suddenly no sound, no microphone & video issues

First suggestion, as it worked previously and now does not, is to use the System Restore function and restore it back to an available restore date when it did work.

System Restore can be accessed from Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools.

System restore will not delete any user data or e-mails, but any programs or updates installed after the restore date will have to be reinstalled. Same way any programs uninstalled will have to be uninstalled again.

I've been trying to look all over the web to see what could be the issue of my laptop randomly freezing. Ingame when i play League of Legends it happens frequently now where my Frames drop completely to the point where i cant see anything for a while, it is stuck on 1 frame. But i recently also started noticing some issues when watching a video on youtube where either the video would stop, and then play out as in hyperspeed, whilst the sound would normally continue.
I've been looking aswell on what might be the problem causing this and i checked my pc for malware/spyware/etc. and there was nothing on it (except for those damned tracker cookies). The temperature of my vents and cores are perfectly fine aswell which i checked with speedfan/GPU-Z. (i must add that i recently let my laptop get repaired and they replaced the vents, added new cooling paste and gave me a new C: drive). So dust can't be the issue since it has just been fully cleaned.
HOWEVER, i have been looking and seen some people write about running scf /scannow in CMD. This gave me the result that there were some files that could not be repaired. So i kept reading and tried to extract the Log into a Txt file so i could see for myself what was wrong. When i opened and looked through it i saw like 6-8 problems that could not be repaired, but i have no idea what to do or if im even on the right track.

A:Pc stuttering, loading issues, video and sound stutter

sfc /scannow
Will repair files just let it do its thing!
Run command prompt as administrator then run sfc /scannow
You can run it from a recovery tool like this -
sfc /scannow /offbootdir=c:\ /offwindir=c:\windows
Windows might be at C:\Windows when you're using it, but D:\Windows from the Command Prompt in System Recovery Options.
In most installations of Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 7, C: usually becomes D: and in Windows Vista, C: is usually still C:. To check for sure, look for the drive with theUsers folder on it - that will be the drive Windows is installed on, unless you have multiple installations of Windows on multiple drives.

I just installed 2GB of RAM into my laptop from 512 the other day, things seemed to run fine, then I started getting some type of "MOM.implementation file not found" message when starting up Vista. Now, any video or sound files (movies, mp3s, etc. ) will play and sound like they're skipping and playing slowed down. I switched back over to XP (dual partitions) and checked the files, but they worked fine. I also put the Vista disk back in to see if I could rewrite the file that might be missing, no luck. Tried system restore, but theres not a file thats saved before the error started occuring. Any ideas what I might be able to do to fix this.

So my mom's computer sucks and I'm trying to figure it out (I need a new motherboard for mine...I'd rather fix hers lol). My sister says it doesn't recognize that the speakers are plugged in and when I try to play something in Media Center it says, "There is no audio hardware available or the hardware is not responding." Also, upon starting Media Center, it says, "Your video card or drivers are nor compatible with Media Center." She says the internet isn't connecting but, honestly, I've no clue how to even start with that. On my last computer I just plugged the modem connection into the computer and it did everything itself...it doesn't do that on this one (nothing happens, and when I checked the internet connection through Media Center it said it couldn't find it).

I just asked my mom about what happened to it prior to this and she said something about the electric meter being changed which zapped it, unmountable boot drive, so my sister just reinstalled Windows and apparently that leaves us at the current point. Is it possible that the power zap messed with the drivers or do I just need to do some kind of basic check/install or what? Sorry...I'm not a total dunce with computers but I could definitely be a lot more knowledgeable. lol

Greetings folks, first timer, long time windows user since like....Win95 I think.

Anyway I was browing the web today when I came across one of those ads that say you have a virus, pop up box, "Press ok to start a virus scan" I don't have an exact screencap of it so sorry if this comes across as vague.

Instead of my usual procedure which consists of unplugging my web and then closing the ad (Something I learned during my time with XP) I closed it and went on with my day, a few minutes later I attempted to watch a video on youtube and the video refused to play, I tried blip.tv, dailymotion, all wouldn't play.

Also strangely enough Windows Media Player will no longer play my mp3s, they are still physically there in My Music, but whenever I attempt to play anything it gives me the error "Windows media player has encountered a problem while playing the file"

VLC media player will still "Play" the mp3 in that the seek will be moving but there will be no audio.

The speakers still work because I am listening to them with my ipod right now.

I tried Chrome to see if my I.E. was just being a pain but Chrome does the same thing as internet explorer.

Before coming here I did a virus scan with AVAST! Anti-virus which says nothing is wrong.

Whatever is wrong it is recent and has just started today.

My OS is Win7 Home premium 64 bit, the computer it's running on is an Acer Aspire 5517 laptop, and if it helps the anti-virus Program version is 5... Read more

Since your problem just started today, a good idea is to use system restore. This will likely solve your problem. Just type system restore in the start menu search box and double click it when it appears. Pick a restore point from before the problem started.

Hello, first time posting in these kind of forums. I’m used to googling around and finding the answer to my computer problems but so far no dice and I’m starting to get a wee bit stressed.
On Wednesday, my web browser FireFox and Adobe Flash player updated to the latest versions. I didn’t think anything of it until I attempted to play some videos and found the youtube ones crashing while other kinds of videos, often the HTML5 types (i.e. Vimeo) play but don’t have any sound at all.
I unchecked “Use smooth scrolling” and “Use hardware acceleration when available” as I seen advised when I looked up how to solve that problem but then I got the error where the youtube video tries to play the first few seconds three times as it tries lower or high quality settings before displaying its static “error” message and the other videos remain with no sound. I restarted the computer and reset firefox but I only came upon a solution when I temporarily disabled the speakers. When I re-enable the speaker, the sound comes back but soon it goes back to the status quo. It seemed to go away late Thursday morning and for the rest of the day but now its back.
I uninstalled Flash player and I thought that might be the cause but the youtube videos, which run on the inbuilt shockwave flash, just eventually become mute instead of crashing. Yesterday and today, some videos that continued playing as that came in and gained ... Read more

I recently installed Windows Service Pack 2, actually three times after reinstating my computer software to the original state by erasing and reinstalling the full software install CD on my computer's hard drive for Window XP Home. I have no problems playing games with my new FX 5200 Ultra video card by BFG, but I am at random times getting the annoying green screen that blanks out my videos I am streaming or playing(happens when I am streaming more often). Then after that happens usually, the computer reboots or shuts off. I never had this happen before. My computer's memory tests ok so why can I play games with this never happening but when I am streaming or watching video through Windows Media Player, etc do I get the "green screen blankout" and then often the shutdown of my computer? I have 512 MB of system memory and 128 MB of video memory! I use System Mechanic and it shows I have at least half of my memory even during playback so what is the problem here? I can attach my system computer file of my information if you like in an e-mail if it will help. AND YES I HAVE THE DIVX CODECS. I thought about that to and uninstalled and reinstalled them with the same random problems. PLEASE HELP ME. This is really annoying.

A:video playback and streaming. Video card problem or software?

Well, it seems u dont have a hardware problem. this problem occurs only when u r watching videos. so i guess its the media player. take my suggestion, stop using it. Download this pack: KLite Codec Pack. I think the latest version is 3.2. Its got all the codecs u need to play compressed videos, and dvds. Its also got an advanced media player which can play any video u open it with like wmv, dat, mpg, rm, mov, avi, divx..... of course, the codecs for these formats r included in the pack.

This has been happening on and off ever since I started with Win 10 and its always very annoying .

System just hangs, no error message, no bsod, just complete freeze and loud hum.

I cant say I can remember having issues watching youtube videos, its the streaming of live content such as filmon. Sometimes I can watch filmon for days and not have the issue and then randomly it will start again. Today I was watching hypermole playing on twitch tv (live) and it just happened. Getting tired of it.
I can also report having all my video content display as a green screen after using hyper v although that may be totally unrelated.

As far as I am aware, I'm using the latest drivers for my graphics, I always try update everything. I have attached the log files as requested.

A:Hang up/Crash when streaming video, especially live video

Hi m1a1t,

Welcome to the 10forums

I'm not a specialist when it comes to freeze problems, but I do have a tip (or 2 when talking about reverting back the changes)
IObit software is known for causing problems, I would highly recommend that you remove it and revert back the changes it made when it comes to drivers.
DB3 may install corrupted or the wrong drivers what may cause problems,Malwarefighter is IMHO garbage,Advanced SystemCare may cause more harm than good
About the uninstall program I can't tell you anything, because I have no experience with it and I prefer to keep it that way.

A:Solved: Streaming Video - Audio, no Video

I found the solution on another website - disabling hardware acceleration by right clicking on the video and going to 'settings' resolves this issue. Then the browser needs to be restarted.

Apparently its a fairly common problem with the current Flash build.
