I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I made a video of a cartoon of a game and i don't know how to place my sounds on it. I only need a program that can put .mp3 files on a video. Please give me a program or a link to download the program so i can put sounds on my video.
At first thank you.

You may be infringing copyright laws in what you've already done, unless the game and cartoon are your own original creation.

I have a weird issue where my screen will get all light colored and just really crappy quality - blurry. I'm not sure if it is Windows, Nvidia, the HDMI cable, my monitor or what. I apologize if this is the wrong forum.

This usually happens coming out of full screen from Windows Media Center, but sometimes after a reboot.

I can turn off my tv (Sony Bravia - 52" LCD - KDL-52W4100) and turn it back on then the problem is fixed. Sometimes I can go full screen and back out again and that will fix it.

I have HDMI connection - Windows 7100 - I have the latst Nvidia drivers 186.. - I have tried a different HDMI cable also

Here is the rest of the build.

Intel Pentium E5200 Wolfdale 2.5GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core Processor
GIGABYTE GA-E7AUM-DS2H LGA 775 NVIDIA GeForce 9400 HDMI Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
A-DATA 4GB (4 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400)
Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250 Media Center Kit Dual TV Tuner
Western Digital Caviar Black WD1001FALS 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s

Anyone else have this problem - or perhaps point me in the right direction?

A:exiting WMC full screen - video turns to crap/blurry

ok - I think I fixed it. It's been a few hours now and all is well.

Nvidia was set to 60 Hertz
Sony was 60
but Windows was 59.

Screen Resolution - Advanced Settings - changed that to 60 and so far all is well.

Hope this helps someone else.

Hi, i recorded a streaming video off of the internet and when i came to play it i noticed it was very quiet. I was wondering if there was anyway to make it sound louder without turning up the volume on my speakers? I used the program - Frontcam - to record the video.

I await your replies

A:Recorded Video Sound

To record sound: Right click the icon of "volume control" on your system tray bar (on the right bottom corner of the screen) and then go to the menu item "options"->"properties"->"recording" and press the "OK" button, check the proper item you want to recording and then start sound recording.
To record sound from microphone: check "Microphone".
To record sound from other application: check "Stero Mix" or "Mono Mix", the name may be different depending on your system.
Did you do everything like that?

I recently recorded a video interview using my laptop's video recording, the video was a little over 30 minutes long. When I went to play the video, my computer would not play it. When I try to open it, it says "Can not play. Choose something else to play. This item is in a format we don't support.  0xc1010103" even though it will play other videos I have recorded on the computer. I am not sure if the video was too long or if it somehow got corrupted.  This is a very important video that I need for a class assignment, is there any way I can play it?

I had posted a question a while back about setting up a network and with the answers from "Tech Guy"did get a system working just fine. My Desktop is a Dell Dimension 8400 with XP Media center OS and the laptop is a Toshiba Satellite with Windows Vista Premium. I have two external drives the one I use primarily in storing my present personal active files including a file that stores recording media which the desktop Media Center gets from the TV cable connection. Then this file is also available via the network to the laptop. With the external drive all my other stored files from the desktop are also available on my laptop. Lately I have had several movie downloads and several repeats of the series "Jag"which play on the desktop but will not play on the laptop with various excuses for them not playing like "Cannot play this format:" or " for one reason or another "not authorized to play". I would think the recordings between the two Media Centers would be identical unless Microsoft has changed that too with Vista. I am very unhappy with Vista.

I had been recording cartoon shows off and on for my godson to watch. In February, I started getting errors and every attempt to burn a video DVD aborts. At first I thought maybe I had some bad DVD+R media, but I am able to burn other things to DVD outside of Media Center. I can burn data DVDs, but fail on video DVDs.

Here is what happens: In Media Center, I select the episodes of recorded TV shows that I want to burn to DVD. The process starts normally, indicating that it may take "several hours" to finish. After about an hour or so, at around 25% completion, I hear the DVD burner spin up like it is going to start burning the DV. After a few (less than ten) seconds, it stops and ejects the disk. In Media Center, an error comes up saying: "BURN FAILURE, An error has occurred in burning the CD/DVD." There is no further info nor error codes. It appears that something does get burned to the disk during those few seconds, because the system will no longer recognize the disk and it must be trashed.

I am running Vista Ultimate 64-bit on an HP system with a quad core processor and 4Gb of RAM. So far, I have tried all the tips that I can find for similar problems (install CODECs, reregistering DLL files, etc.), but nothing helps. I even went so far as to use the original system restore disks to wipe out the computer entirely and reinstall Vista, then let it do all updates (through SP2). In Media Center, you can only create a video DVD by using a recorded TV show when the broadcast type matches the region that you have selected in Media Center.

Also have you looked at your codec pack ?.

Purchased a 3010 SFF from the Outlet.  Installed Win10 and everything else I needed and assigned it to my user.  She is using Dual Monitors, one via Onboard HDMI and one via Onboard VGA.  The VGA side is "blurry"
I have tried:New CableUpdated DriversUpdated BIOSDifferent Monitor
No matter any of those, the onboard VGA is blurry.
So I decided to drop in a PCIe SFF Add-in card.  With this card installed, the system does not boot at all.  The system will turn on, full fan, then off, Then on again and sit there with no video.
If I connect the video cables to the onboard WHILE the add-in card is in, I get the usual "Unsupported Video..." error.
I have no idea what to try next.

A:Optiplex 3010 Blurry VGA No Boot with Add-In Video

Do you know that add-in video card actually works?
Is it in the PCI-e x16 slot? And have you tried reseating it in the slot?
Have you tried clearing BIOS with that card installed?

Power off, unplug
Press/hold power button for ~15 sec
Remove motherboard battery
Press/hold power button for ~30 sec
Reinstall battery
Close up and reboot

Using onboard video, have you tried changing the resolution for the VGA monitor? Does Win 10  correctly identify the VGA monitor? Does it need its own driver?
Did you install all the right Win 10 drivers from Dell's site, including the chipsets?

I have a radeon 8500 and connected it to my tv the first time using the S-video out. Everything is great, my divx movies, and video games look good but I could barely read any text from the tv. If the text are large then I could see some of them, but blurry. I think I adjusted every possible setting on my video card, and on the tv. IS this the was it is suppose to be, or are there any other options and hidden sitches I can configure? Thanks to anyone that can help.

A:Blurry text on video out, from radeon 8500

This is normal, because the highest resolution a regular tv will do is 800x600, and generally 640x480. So it will always display text very very bad. Unelss you get a high definition tv that has the capabilities of doing 1024x768.

Sorry but there is nothing you can do about this.

ok first of all, I'm not sure if blurry is the right word, but everything is smudgy and i barely see anything.

well this is what happened:
There was an electrical power interruption, and my computer didn't work afterwards, but I've managed to fix it.
However, when it finally turned on, the screen got all smudgy!

At first I thought my monitor was ruined, but when I go to safe-mode, everything looks perfect.
(the smudge starts only after boot, not during. right from the "logging into windows XP" blue screen).

This is what I've tried:
*Plug off the monitor, and re-plug it after a few minutes.
*Reset all monitor settings into factory settings (using the menu button on the monitor)

oh and btw, 2 little notes:
*When I pressed that button on my monitor, the menu that appeared looked perfect, and not smudgy at all.
*I've tried to take a screenshot of the problem:
It's not so smudgy here in most places, but trust me on other sites and applications it is 100 times worse.

A huge thanks in advance for anyone that has an idea about thjis problem.
And sorry for my grammar and typos (I know I have a few grammar mistakes, but the typos are because I can't really see what I'm writing)

This is my first post here because I seriously need some help with my computer.

For the past week my screen has suddenly gone blurry/green/purple ish and I can't do anything, have to restart my computer. This usually happens when I am playing games. I have been searching for answers but never got any because my computer skills are so bad, so I decided to ask for help on a forum. First it happened 3 times, then it suddenly stopped for 4 days or so, then it started again yesterday.

This started to happen after I downloaded the newest update for my gcard. It's a Nvidia GeForce GTX560 ti, the update was 296.10 if I remember right. I don't know what more to write.

Thank you for your answers.

It suddenly start to blur from the bottom of the screen.I think it just temporrary and it doesn't bother me, because it's just one stripped line on the bottom. But, since 2 days ago suddenly more lines are showed up and I almost can't see my windows start button. Then, today I can't clearly read all of the words in my desktop and all of the contents; so blurry.I tried to open some data, and it happens to all of it, so I can't read anything on my notebook. Luckily all of the the program runs well, which means there're nothing wrong with the software; I hope so.I thought maybe because I used it quite long - since 2010 or 2011, so probably I break the VGA or something inside it without notice; that's what I got from the blogs when I start to search the problem. Some said that I can upgrade the VGA, but I'm not quite sure about it, and the others said it's dead pixel(?).So, is there any possibilities I can get it back to normal without take it to the service center? -Because I always not sure about any services center in my country.Thank you.

My husband just built a new computer. Sometimes the monitor goes blurry, or fuzzy, and everything looks out of focus. We have tried going into safe mode and the problem doesn't happen in safe mode.

The monitor is a Dell M992 and the video card is a GeForce FX5700LE.

If he plays an online game, the problem mostly goes away, and stays away for up to an hour after he stops playing the game. We have reformated the hard drive and nothing changed.

I can't use the computer for more than 5 minutes at a time because I get a headache from trying to read blurry words. Any ideas on what this could be? All of the video drivers are up to date as far as we know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Hi there,Find out what the native resolition is for that particular model, for example 1024x768 as well as the DPI(dots per inch), for example 96 dpi. Once you find out the native settings, Right-Click the Desktop, choose Properties, and in the popup window click the Settings tab. Set the slider to your supported resolution then click the Advanced tab, and make sure that your DPI is set to the recommended level. If these are all where they should be, you should also make sure the settings on the actuall display itself are correct. Many LCD displays these days have an auto adjust, or return to factory settings option. You may also want to set the font to Cleartype which is recommended for LCD displays. Right-Click the Desktop, choose Properties, and in the popup window click the Appearance tab. Click Effects, and choose the Cleartype option from the dropdown list.Hope this helps, nos

I just installed Win. 8.1 and am using an RCA 26 Inch LCD as a monitor.  Everything was fine when running XP, but now everything is very squished and blurry.  When I go into display settings, there are 3 choices to make, 1020x768 = everything looks just great, very proportionate, except that I'm missing approx 1/2 of the screen,  Then 1280x1024 which I'm using now, everything fits on screen, but it's smushed down and blurry, and 1600x1200 which just goes to a blue screen.
My old XP had a setting which was perfect.  I still have the driver I used for it on USB.
EDIT:  Just updated the driver and everything looks great!

Hi guys, Here is a challenge for you guys..... I have a Dell Latitude 630, windows 7 professional 32-bit that it was working really good (issues at all), then 4 weeks ago i bought a external monitor and i started using it since then. Yesterday I disconnect the monitor from my laptop and i noticed that screen (everything in it) was blurry. I can see the icons and everything else but all letters and words are so blurry. As a beginner, i did the basic troubleshooting:

1.- Uninstalled the driver (nvidia nvs 135n) from my control panel then install it again. (that did not fix the problem).
2.- Did a restore (4 weeks ago) when the screen was working fine. (That did not fix the problem).
3.- Changed the resolution for the display. (that made it worst, so i put it back where it was).
4.- Scanned for Virus and did not find anything. (Used kaspersky internet security)

The weird part is that when i plug in the external monitor it works just fine. Any help out there will be appreciated.

Thanks guys.
