I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.
I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.
You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi friends. I am using Lenovo Ideapad 310-15IKB running on Windows 10 64-bit, Anniversary Update. Lately, I got a BIOS update through? Companion app which said "System is not UEFI", since I was using Legacy mode. So I converted my disc from MBR to GPT using AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional software. But after converting I noticed that some of the hotkeys like airplane mode, disable mic, disable camera, disable touchpad are not working (Disable toucpad did work, but the disabled icon wasn't displayed). So then I reverted back to Legacy mode using same software. But still it didn't work. I tried reinstalling all the drivers from the Lenovo support website. But still it didn't work. Is there any solution for this problem? Some keys like volume and brightness still work.Read other answers

Hi, I bought a new Lenovo ideapad 510-15IKB about a month ago. It has windows 10. When I click on camera app it says "we can't find your camera. Check to be sure it's connected and installed properly, that it isn't being blocked by antivirus software, and that your camera drivers are up-to-date. If you need it, here's the error code: 0xA00F4244(0xC00D36D5). I have first disabled my antivirus and tried, but that didn't work. 'I checked device manager and there I couldn't see "Imaging devices" under which camera should show up as far as I know. Then I installed the camera driver here and restarted the laptop but still camera app wouldn't work and camera wasn't there under device manager. Any help to get this issue resolved would be appreciated. http://pcsupport.lenovo.com/lk/en/products/Laptops-and-netbooks/500-Series/510-15IKB/downloads Thanks,DevniRead other answers
Hi, I just got my ideapad 210 today and was wondering if it is possible to get a regular laptop charger for it. The one supllied with the machine is very short and the powerpack unit attached to the plug is incredibly bulky. Very poor design feature. I have looked online and can only find similar power supply units.I have had issues with 3rd party power supplies in the past and I was wondering if Lenovo produce a more 'old fashioned' but useful power cable?Read other answers

I recently bought a Lenovo Ideapad 310 about a month ago, shortly after installing all reccomended updates on the Lenovo companion app, including reccomended BIOS and Windows 10 updates my laptop has started getting semi random freezes. When a freeze occurs the entire system locks up, the sound makes a very short interval constant loop, and I have to preform a full reboot. It seems to happen more frequently when playing certain games (CSGO, Left 4 Dead 2) Less frequently when playing less demanding games (Starbound, Minecraft) however sometimes it feels like it can happen at any time as it has happened a few times just browsing the internet or once while idle and downloading something in the background.Sometimes I can tell when it's about to happen. In the case where the computer is about to freeze while playing CSGO I lose connection to the server, the game tell's me it's attempting to reconnect, every time I see this the computer goes into the freeze 5-10 seconds later, This morning I was fast enough to alt tab before the freeze and noticed that my laptop said it was still connected to the internet just before it then froze and I had to reboot I have no idea what could possibly be causing this but wanted to know what my options are or wether anybody else was experiencing similar constant and seemingly random freezesRead other answers

Hi guys,I bought a new 510-15IKB (i5-7200U type). It came with DOS, I installed win10 and configured everything, installed drivers etc. My problem is the fan, it keeps working constantly in idle, even on battery, on battery saver mode, so it just totally neglects the energy management settings (passive cooling, etc.) and CPU temps (34 Celsius and the fan keeps working). The fan is working in its lowest state (maybe, never heard it be quieter), so the problem is not a loud fan, rather that the fan never turns off during idle. I'm an IT guy, I know how to make things work etc, but this just can't be solved by me.What I tried:- Restart etc.- Reinstall drivers from support page downloads- Install newest drivers from parts manufacturers (intel etc.)- Set different energy management settings- Updated UEFI to newest version (3JCN23WW)- updated win10 totally- ran malwarebytes anti-malware and kaspersky internet security 2017, both finished without finding anything- restarted with discrete graphics turned off in uefi- restarted with fast boot turned off in uefi- even tried it using an Ubuntu live session and it is the same And there is a strange buzzing sound on movement if it is perpendicular to the surface of the fan, it's really quiet, but happens on smaller movements too, and it even happened once while the laptop was completely still on the table. This part of my problem might be totally normal, so my bigger problem is with it not turning off.It seems like a UEFI problem... Read more
Tried reflashing the same BIOS but it did not help anything (as I tought it wouldn't).Moreover, the fan made the buzzing sound again, I could make it go away by tilting the whole laptop 90 degrees back to vertical position and then to horizontal.Read other 2 answers
I was considering getting a Lenova IdeaPad 510-15IKB. It has just the features I was looking for and a couple extra. After checking a full on review of this laptop, I am still convinced it is the one for me but I do have just a wee bit of reservation. The review noted a weakness in the WIFI card provided by Realtek as being "surprisingly slow". So I wonder, how much trouble would it be to just upgrade the wifi card after buying this laptop. Well the answer turns out to be, it may be difficult or impossible to upgrade the wifi. So here I am looking for some help. Is the wifi card upgradable? If so what cards are compatible and can they be installed after the purchase? And perhaps the most important question, is my concern about this "slow" wifi legitimate?

Hello friends,I bought a Lenovo notebook a couple of days ago and installed a Sandisk SSD replacing the original 1 TB Western Digital harddisk. I installed Windows 10 and then from the Lenovo webpage i installed the required drivers etc. And with the first restart the system did not boot and poped out a epairing disc notification. But no matter what i tried disc was not repaired.Anyway i reinstalled windows 10 and after installing the drivers once again the same thing happened. I suspect intel rapid storage drivers are causing this. But have not done any trial and error attempt yet. Any of you faced such an issue ? Thank youRead other answers

Ever since I got turned on my 510 for the first time, its fan has been spinning loudly, as if it was under a heavy load. Yet it isn't. Using HWMonitor I can see the temps resides at a cool ~30 degrees when idle, but the fans spins at the same level whether the temperature is 30 or 50, idle or under load. I figured perhaps a BIOS update would fix this problem, but I'm met with this error message. http://imgur.com/a/7FP0S Now, reading the error message, I can see that it addresses a EFI address. When I first got the computer, I did a clean install of Windows 10. To do this, I had to disable multiple things in BIOS such as Secure boot, Intel PTT, and enable legacy boot. The BIOS update in question is the one below.http://support.lenovo.com/dk/en/products/Laptops-and-netbooks/500-Series/510-15IKB/80SV/downloads/DS...Read other answers

Hi Nour-J, The page error might have been a temporary issue. I just check the support site and its currently working. In any case the system should also have a copy of the drivers in "D:\drivers\" if it had windows pre-installed.If any case installing the camera drivers does not work, try re-installing the chipset drivers also. Hope this helps. Cheers,

Hi there, My very new Lenovo Yoga 710 (15" IKB) laptop/two-in-one has been fantastic so far except in one regard. Whenever I play a game, the fan gets quite loud and the temperature shoots up. I'm not one hundred percent sure if this happened in the first few days but I have come to notice it far more recently. When playing a pretty standard game, such as World of Warcraft, the temp will shoot up to somewhere around 65 degrees celsius (sometimes up to 70) with the bottom getting quite hot, and the fans will become quite loud. Even a very low requirement game, like FIFA 15 (which is obviously 2 years old now), can cause the temp to reach about 60 degrees and the fans to get loud, and when dowloading a driver from Nvidia I noticed that the temperature had again risen, this time to 52 degrees with the fans spinning loudly again. I had earlier had a display issue that I fixed by downloading diplay drivers from Lenovo's website. I'm not sure if there's any driver I could download to rectify this issue (I already updated BIOS from the download on Lenovo's website)?Read other answers

Currently I'm playing music on Google Play music which plays fine until I'm about to click on another page or go to the home of google play for example and it stutters for a few seconds. Also not sure if this is related, when I use my bluetooth speaker, audio stutters really bad, worse than when using internal speakers. Possibly two different problems but for now I really only care about the internal speakers stuttering as I rarely use my bluetooth speakers on my pc. Any hardware can be specified.Read other answers
