Windows 7 crash after 3-5 mins / Incl: Process list & full current HJT log @ crash.

Q: Windows 7 crash after 3-5 mins / Incl: Process list & full current HJT log @ crash.

Ok, so normally I can fix most any bug on my computer, and it's not a big deal for me.... But this one sucks and it has been a problem for about a month now. I have tried over a dozen different "fixes" from over 8 different blog sites with no real solution to my problem. I am running Win7 home premium w/4Gig ram, Intel i3, on an Asus U50F.
Here is a run down of what happens:

I log on, windows starts normally, windows runs for about 3-5 minutes with nothing wrong and then freezes. The mouse is still movable but cannot open or close anything. If task mgr is up and onscreen, it will also freeze. I have to hard-boot the system every time. I am currently operating in Safe-mode w/networking just to get on the web, or do anything. Safe-mode runs fine I just don't want to use it forever!

Below are the processes running at the time of crash:

Name Usage Path

svchost 24 C:\windows\system32\svchost
sys idle 24 --
Trustedinstaller.exe 19 C:\windows\servicing\Trustedinstaller.exe
coreserviceshell.exe 19 C:\Programfiles\TrendMicro\AMSP
\coreserviceshell.exe
system 05 C:\windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
searchindexer.exe 03 C:\windows\system32\searchindexer.exe
mbamservice.exe *32 02 C:\Programfiles(x86)\malwarebytes'
antimalware\mbamser
taskmgr.exe 02 C:\windows\system32\taskmgr.exe
conhost.exe 01 C:\windows\system32\conhost.exe
csrss.exe 01 C:\windows\system32\csrss.exe

I know most of these processes so they don't scare me, however, this is the first time I have seen "conhost.exe", "searchindexer.exe", or the system running "\ntoskrnl.exe" after boot up, which I investigated to find that it should not be running at all after the boot process. I would like to know if there is anything that sticks out like a sore thumb here?

Below is my HJT report as of this past week. Is there anything here that dings any bells and whistles? I'm still not skilled enough to know what I am looking at with one of these.

Preferred Solution: Windows 7 crash after 3-5 mins / Incl: Process list & full current HJT log @ crash.

I recommend downloading and running Outlook PST Repair. It's a PST repair tool that I've used it in the past to recover emails, contacts, tasks and notes from corrupt Outlook files that are damaged or inaccessible. Supports Outlook 2000, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010 and 2013.

You can download it direct from this link http://goo.gl/1bjhSi. (This link will automatically start a download of Outlook PST Repair that you can save to your computer.)

Hi Indyspark and welcome to TSF,

None of the processes sticks out, and are perfectly fine where they are.

Could you access the event log and see if there are any faults around the time that this issue appears? If so, what faults do you receive?

You could try running a "sfc /scannow" and a system repair aswell as restoring to a previously known working restore point, just as general "fixes".

We religiously track Windows Application fault events in our environment.

Recently we have noticed that when, Word 2013 x86 version (15.0.4823.1000, 15.0.4805.1001) running on Windows 8.1 x64,  crashes due to corrupted heap, we find suspended winword process that have no running threads.  the ccorrupt heap crashes are of
the type  exception c0000374 in Ntdll.dll at offset 0x000e6054.  We have two different situations in which we can trigger a crash that will produce the corrupted heap.

The problem is after the App crash the Windows Error Reporting service, attaches the WerFault.exe to the crashed process and saves the WER Dump file.  The problem is after this process is finished we are left with Winword.exe process that are in suspended
state.  They are not visible in the TaskManager but they show-up in Procexp,  these process have no running threads and the End task or end task tree have no impact.  The only way to exit the suspended process is to log off the user session.

The suspended Winword.exe process cause problems when we re-launch a clean word, we have an add-in that detect's the suspended Winword and will not run.

On a test machine we disabled the WER service and of course we no longer see suspended threads, this is not an option for use because stopping the WER service stops logging of all Application Fault event ID 1000 and Application hang 1001 entries from the Application
log.

Out of no where to day mi computer starts BSOD on me every 25-30. I can't find any thing that says why ether. Been working just fine all this time and now i can hardly use it more then 30 mins. The only errors i can find on the event viewer are:

The Server service depends on the Security Accounts Manager service which failed to start because of the following error:
The service cannot be started, either because it is disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it.

and

The Computer Browser service depends on the Server service which failed to start because of the following error:
The dependency service or group failed to start.

And then the crash it's self with is just, The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

A:Crash every 30 mins

Hello furydeath...

We DO require the DMP files to enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms.
Upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.

The procedure:

* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button.

To ensure minidumps are enabled:

*Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl Press Enter.
*Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery - Settings... button.
*Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
*Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kb) in the drop down box (the 256kb varies).
*Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
*OK.
Reboot if changes have been made.

I recently bought a Gainward 9600GT 512MB but I'm having some troubles when running games - after I play something (for example Modern Warfare 2, NBA 2k10) for 10-15 minutes the screen just freezes then flickers and I gotta either close the game via task manager or reset my computer. Or when I play a movie sometimes the screen freezes, sound continues and then it goes back to normal in a few secs. I thought my old 400W PSU was not powerful enough to supply the card sufficiently so I bought a new Fortron 500W but the problems remained. Could this mean that my GPU is faulty? It's about 20 days old. My computer specs are:
500W PSU
Intel C2D E4300+ @1.8GHz
2x1GB RAM Kingston DDRII @ 667
HDD - Seagate 180GB SATA
CD/DVD ROM
Gainward 9600GT 512MB
When I check the temperature after a game crashes it's about 50-60 degrees. I did a RAM Check using memtest and i stressed the GPU using Video Card Stress Test. It got up to 80 degrees for about 15 mins and got no artifacts or freezes or anything like that.
My CPU temps are ~50. I'm using Windows XP SP2 and I've installed the most recent drivers. I've tried using older drivers but that didnt work either.
So what might be causing this? And how could i possibly fix it?
Thanks in advance!

Edit: Sometimes when games crash I also get a BSOD. I opened the crash dump files and here's the info:

Alright, every time I try to plug the ps3 into the computer to hook it up to the internet, the computer only lasts about 2 minutes until I get the generic host process crash. And when it does happen, it won't reconnect to the internet until I restart the computer. How the hell can I fix this problem? I am using a 3g mobile wireless modem btw. (no phone cables where I live)

A:Windows XP: Generic Host Process Crash when plugged into ps3?

Do you have a Wireless Router? If so, there are wired inputs you can plug the PS3 into one of those instead of the computer.

Sounds like u have some type of clocking issue or temp problem...

First use CPUz, check out all setings,
then use HW monitor, to check CPU temp, and MOBO temps, and voltages.
3.) use GPUz to check out your video card settings...
4.) run a MEM test in dos, to see if u have any falty ram...
5.) check all bios settings... something could be configured wrong.

well, thats all i'v got... hope this helps

I scanned for viruses and malware, did driver updates but it's still crashing. It will crash about 3 - 5 mins after start-up.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey,

My month and half old Acer V3 started to give BSOD's, did some sort of recovery and started working again for a couple of hours, if not trying to access any Windows files. If tried to look up error logs etc it gave different versions of the BSOF. So I tried to run Recovery, getting it back to factory settings, and that's when Windows crashed completely. I followed Acer customer support advice, ordered recovery discs (couldn't create one because Windows crashed when trying it. I got the recovery discs, ran the recovery which ended up giving me failure because of "missing image-something". Another call to Acer and they told to run different recovery version from the puter.

That recovery end to a failure again. After several restarts and what not, windows started up again, being slower than usual. I'm now having constant problems losing internet connection, I've had couple minidumbs and several issues with windows updater and such and these after machine should be back in the factory settings. Anyhow, here's the last log if anyone could take a look on it before I throw this machine to the wall.

A:BSOD and total windows crash and recovery crash/failure

For starters:

At work we start all repairs with a set of diagnostics. Often they find problems that weren't even expected. It's a waste of time to try to fix software on a system that has hardware problems.
Please try these free diagnostics for starters: Initial Hardware Diagnostics
Also, please ensure that you have ALL available Windows Updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

In particular, start with the hard drive diagnostics as I suspect that is the problem.

Although there's only 2 memory dumps (it usually takes 4 or 5 to conclude if it's a hardware error or not) - the repeated failure of factory installs makes a hardware failure the most likely problem here. Please run the diagnostics that I suggested above and let us know the results.

There are a list of drivers that need updating (because the recovery media was made a while ago). Don't worry about them until you've finished the hardware diagnostics. If all the diagnostics pass, then update the drivers.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

CnsMin has an uninstaller which removes most components, but leaves the machine with no network or Internet connection. I suggest you post your log in the Hijackthis forum.

It may take a while to get a response because the HJT Team members are very busy. Please be patient as they are volunteers who will help you out as soon as possible. Once you have made your post, please DO NOT make another reply until it has been responded to by a member of the HJT Team. Generally the staff checks the forum for postings that have not been replied as this makes it easier for them to identify those who have not been helped. If you post another response, a team member, looking for a new log to work may assume another HJT Team member is already assisting you and not open the thread to respond.

Hi, first time poster. Hope I'm following all protocols. Firstly, thanks for existing. A bit of an odd one here. In Windows XP home was running internet explorer, iTunes, Outlook, Windows Media Player and latter was showing a DVD. Shut this down and not sure if coincidental or if this caused it, but computer did hard boot. So screen blank, went into start up. When everything came back, I got to my normal log in window so thought all fine. thought it odd though that the computer didn't seem to be warning of incorrect shutdown. A window came up saying that I didn't have the administration rights to make changes in the ATI Catalyst panel (this is linked to my image drivers or something I think). So I pressed OK. Then realised that I couldn't press my start button. I could right click on desktop and bring up those menus, but every time the cursor went into the task bar area just showed the eggtimer. So tried to shut down and start again by using ctrl-alt-del. When shutting down though, it said it couldn't stop the following processes, which then needed to be shut down manually: Elbytray window ; Ad-aware tray application ; Explorer.exe. Then once that done it never shut down anyway, so had to do forced shut down. Booting up again, same thing happened. Sooooo. I booted into safe mode and did a system restore to a couple of days before. Restarted and this time the log in time was longer. When I got to my desktop, I could see my desktop image, but no icons, no task bar at all, no st... Read more

Hi,

My internet explorer was not starting anymore, each time i start it, it close and restart. Therefore, i run multiple Anti Spyware tools that found nothing.
I therefore uninstalled Internet explorer and installed Firefox.

Looking at the memory usage, my PC is using 1.4Gb (usually it was more around less than a Gb). I also saw some strange process LCW.exe and LCX.exe. So i stopped them and delete the corresponding exe files. Now, i can't see those process anymore, but, i'm really not sure on what has been cleaned out or not.

I then discovered this forum, this is the reason why i'm posting my files.
I'm running Win7 Ultimate 64 bits. GMER is not working on my PC.

Hello, I've had this problem with certain programs for a while, And I'd like to know why it does it, how to possibly prevent it, and what to do (Other than restarting my slow laptop) when it happens.

What happens:
I'll be using a program (Typically one of two games, but other programs do it)
It will lock up, and freeze, no white haze over it, it doesn't say it's not responding. It just freezes. The only way to get rid of it is to open task manager and ''End Process".

But after ending it, the process remains there. Every maybe 20 seconds the memory usage goes down by maybe 15K, At the rate it's going it'll still be ''open'' for hours. Upon restarting the computer the process will be closed and everything functioning normally.

Screenshot of taskmanger (Apx. 20 minutes after clicking ''End Process'' on Javaw.exe (Minecraft is the game that crashed).

How do I prevent this?
If I can't prevent it how do I get the process to actually close without restarting? Or do I have no other choice?

It's no problem on my desktop, With it's SSD it boots great. But with my laptop it takes forever to boot, and that's no fun.

A:App Crash and process stays.

Is it always java based that causes the problem?

If so, that could indicate a malicious item on the system.

If not, check for possible program conflicts by performing a clean boot.

Not sure if this would be a hardware or software issue but nonetheless it is an issue.

Whenever I launch the game Prison Tycoon the app loads just fine but when I click run to actually load the real game it goes to a black screen. I can hear the music just fine but it is completely black. This happened a few months back with another game GoAudition but I blew it off and didn't waste my time figuring it out. I'm just guessing that when it is trying to fullscreen it will not work.

I have tried everysetting as far as resolution and switch from 16 to 32 bit vice versa.

I have a Radeon 256mb card and everything I do works just great. Everything on Steam loads just fine in fullscreen. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

The screaming you hear is me! I have had two total wipe outs, non-recoverable crashes on my 4 month old Asus G50vt. One time went back to Asus for a re-install, Start over. A month later, another one. Called Asus for a work around or repair--no such thing. Total reinstall.

Sick of this, I bought an ext eSATA drive and it has a full bootable copy of the C and D drives on the laptop.

I can boot to either one, and tested it many times. Thanks to the boot menu.

This am, it boots to the msg:

file is missing or corrupt:

windows/system32/winload.exe

It says to use the installation disk for repair. Yeah, right, no such animal, came installed.

Okay, boot to the backup.

Same problem! omg! No safemode, nothing.

I cannot spend more days reinstalling everything. [and how much did I lose this time?]

Q: can I just go buy a full Vista-64 CD and select repair? I know the product ID numbers wont match, but will it let me repair?

I am so mad that I cannot even describe it.

thanks for any help

A:Oh no! Another total crash! Should I buy a full CD?

Hello

I am very new to this so please forgive me if I am posting in the wrong place.

My Packard Bell desktop crashed today and at the start up screen it requests me to boot it using the boot disk. I have done so and am now faced with the "Packard Bell Recovery Program". I am faced with 4 options:
1) Standard system restore
2) Advanced Options
3) Tools
4) Cancel and return to DOS

Under option 1, it states that the system will be restored but all personal files will be lost. Is there a way for me to recover the system without losing personal files?

Jim

A:Computer crash - recovery process - HELP

Option 2 should give you the choice of doing a restore and saving your data.

Even if it does give you that choice, things can go wrong with the restore and you can still lose your personal data.

-----------------------------------------------------------

Waiting until your computer crashes or the hard drive dies before you backup and save your personal data is BAD practice.

You should backup and save it on a regular basis in CD-R's/DVD-R's or in an external USB hard drive or in both.

I have updated windows 7, AND did a system restore; reinstalling steam right after the restore. But it doesn't seen to work. I checked the forums and tried the example where you change the Data Execution Prevention (DEP) to "turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select:" and that worked (after the restart). But as soon as I turned my computer off for a few hours and came back on to play, I got the same errors I was always getting.

I'm also getting these STUPID horrible messages when I type for too long:

Mical15, this error maybe a result of registry errors in your OS.

Try running scanning your registry for problems with ccleaner http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner

A quick scan should detect missing/corrupt files and repair.

I installed genymotion and oracle virtual machine,
while for some reason, I removed them.

And not sure this cause the program,
a lot of programs resulted in crash, where the error message pop up even when I have no action on my computer.
And in the error log, all of the problem dll is KERNELBASE.dll

The program include:

iusb3mon.exe
NvBackend.exe (for NVIDIA)
BugReport.exe
ProductUpdater.exe
yundetectservice.exe
I have tried system restore, but the problem is still here

One more point to add is that in the system restore,
I saw a drive call
Mircosoft Remote Desktop Service (Printer) 06/21/2006
will be stored (but I failed to restore)
Not sure is it related to the problem

Okay guys, I'd love some help with some issues I am having. About two months ago I decided to start putting together parts to build my own rig(first time builder here) After scrounging around for a bit and getting the deals I liked I decided to put it all together and make my PC. Since then, Ive been having a lot of issues with errors and PC crashing. Overall I am just looking to resolve these issues and walk away with a bit of knowledge on how to troubleshoot my PC problems.

1st: I am constantly receiving Java crashes(Pandora, Grooveshark, Youtube) periodically throughout the day.
2nd: My graphics will freeze up momentarily when viewing sites such as Youtube, Twitch, and occasionally when playing a game(Starcraft 2)
3rd: Entire system crashes. I will get blue screens 3-4 times a day(within a 4 hour period) Blue screens range from "Bad Pool Header" errors, to "memory Management" error.

Please help guys, I am tired of these PC issues and if anyone could help walk me through the troubleshooting process, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have a radeon 9600 with windows xp home edition.

Whenever i am playing a game such as world of warcraft it crashes but when i am playing warcraft 3 which is a similar game it does not crash...

the nature of the crash is random sometimes it has a vpu recovery window poping up sometimes in completely crashes and freezes where i have to hold down the power button to reset thou even when the computer resets windows will not load up which leads me to believe it is a temperature issue if anyone can post explaining how to fix such issues step-by-step...

ive noticed this crash also happening with half life 2 so it is not a problem with an individual game. I originally thought this was a driver issue so i tried downloading new drivers and older ones.

you can also make windows look stripped down so that you have more ram and cpu to use

Posted this to the hardware forum without success, so sorry for the double post but I'm going to try my luck in here...

I'm going to paste all posts below:

Hello all. This is my first post here and I would like to say what a great community this seems to be. Also, please forgive me if there's some English errors in my post as it is not my mother language

Now, let's get to the problem: I've recently built a new system with these specs:

- Asus P5QC motherboard
- Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
- 2x 2GB 1333 DDR3 (Kingston ValueRAM)
- Asus NVidia GeForce 9800GT 1GB (Asus modelname is EN9800GT 1G)
- 500W pretty much low-end PSU
- 2x 200 GB old SATA drives on RAID0 (not part of the problem I think)

Now, everything is going smooth, I could install Windows 7 x64 Pro without much problem, 3D acceleration is working, sound (using onboard realtek hd) also works, etc. The problem, then, is that randomly (and when I say randomly I really mean it) I get a full system crash and my speakers keep repeating the last buffer written onto the audio chip. My monitor also gets "stuck" at the last frame sent by the video card.

This happens around once or twice a day, and I can hardly predict it. There are (to my knowledge) no heating problems (as it crashed on desktop once while I had Lavalys Everest open and CPU was at 27, GPU was at 40... Celsius, that is).

Memtest86+ reports no problems. Neither does chkdsk. I've tried downgrading and upgrading my GPU drivers, same wi... Read more

Hello,

My school provides laptops for the 11th and 12th graders and teachers. All the laptops are the same, same software, same hardware. They are all running XP sp3. The laptops make and model #'s are Dell XPS M1210. We are plagued constantly by the error message below. I have tried to debug the minidump for this error but honestly I don't know how. So, I was hoping that someone with experience in debugging could help me figure out the root cause of this problem. The minidump and hdump are attached. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

At the time I do not have access to the laptop, so I will provide any additional information about the laptop that you may need on Monday

This is the error signature. This error pops up at random times. If there isn't anything you guys can do to fix it is there some way i can just disable this window so it does not pop up because if you do not click debug, send error report or don't send then nothing happens and the computer operates normally. The thing is the students don't know that and they keep clicking the error and it freezes up.

OK so I've been having this problem where every application that has some sort of link in it and that launches another program from it, crashes (examples: clicking a link in somebody's status in Xfire or AIM, GameCam crashing when any game is launched with it, etc.). This has been happening for about a month now, and is really starting to frustrate me. The only thing that has been done to this computer for a long time was a few file re-installations that I did to fix a problem with my monitor (ask for more details if this may be a part of the problem).

Anyways, any help would be much appreciated... the Xfire stuff isn't too bad because I can just copy/paste URLs, but I really need GameCam to work and it's not. But yeah, again, clicking any sort of link in a program that launches another program causes both applications to get exception data and crash.

Hi all,

I'm new, though unfortunately for me, this problem is not, so hopefully someone here can help.

I have a custom-built PC I assembled nearly 3 years ago now. I've had some small issues with it on and off, though I've never really been able to diagnose these probs (i.e. PC restarts fine but won't cold boot without manually switching PSU off and on again, etc.).

Recently, I purchased Dragon Age: Origins and a new problem has appeared. The computer will randomly crash in the middle of the game. It'll run fine for hours before or after playing, but while playing, it'll only last a few minutes to an hour and a half at most before completely crashing.

I've never gotten an error message and there doesn't seem to be any error log for these crashes.

I though it might be a faulty vid card (I have dual EVGA nVidia 8800GTS in SLI) so I removed one card and turned off SLI, but the problem is still there.
I've turned graphics way down on the game, but no success. I also thought the one fewer GPU might help if it was a heat issue (the system tends to run hot, approx 60C) but it still crashes.

Hopefully someone on here might have a clue with the attached info (which I think should be what is usually asked for). Thanks!

well i just installed trial version of webroot spysweeper and then i go on to TSG then my computer goes all blue and it says things about dumping files on disk or something
Its called a ''stop-(something i dont know!)''

PLEASE IS THERE ANYTHING TO DO!!!

A:Full Blue Screen I Think Its A Stop Crash Or Something..what Do I Do!!!

Uninstall it, then do a System Restore (start > run: msconfig > launch system restore.

If you continue to get blue screens after that, post the minidump files following these directions:

I can run a debugging utility on the dump files if you do this:

1 > create a new folder on the desktop and call it "dumpcheck" or whatever you like
2 > navigate to c:\windows\minidump and copy the last 2 or 3 minidump files to that folder. They are numbered by date.
3 > close the folder and right click on it and select "Send to (folder name).zip"
4 > use the "manage attachments" in the "advanced" reply window to upload that zip file here as an attachment.

This might point us to a 3rd party driver causing the error, if one exists for it.

Alright, so I've recently updated my system to Windows 7 and in the beginning things were good. Recently (a little more than a week ago) My system started to crash without fail while in game. As an owner of a gaming computer, the thing has turned pretty useless to me. haha

Alright, so I will describe the conditions. While in game (any where between 5 minutes and an hour) the computer will go silent and then reboot. I've explored a number of solutions, ranging from updating my Direct X and video drivers, to running a system repair through the windows install disk and a memory diagnosis. I've searched my harddrives for errors and I have been resisting a full OS reinstall, but I will run one if their is no real solution. any information would be wonderful. My Windows install is up to date and before the upgrade to windows 7 I've had no issues.

I've attached my Dxdiag to this post.

Any insight to this issue would be amazing.

Thus far, I have only gotten this crash when playing games. The past half-second or so of sound will loop and everything freezes, including the normal fall backs. I reset power to my computer to get things going again.

I've searched both this forum and others and have seen this problem a fair amount, but I also haven't found any strong consistencies between my system/the context in which my computer crashes and those of other people.

Attached is my dxdiag information, if it would help, but here are my less formal system specifications:

GeForce 9800 GTX (2)
Intel E8400 (Dual Core, 3.0 GHz)
4GB of DDR3 1333 Ram
XFX nForce 790i Motherboard
750W Power Supply

And here's some more anecdotal information about the crashing:

Some games seem to crash more than others, but it doesn't seem to have anything to do with the graphical fanciness of the game in question. (Company of Heroes crashes much more frequently than Age of Conan)

I read somewhere that it might be my memory and paging file maxing out, that my antivirus (ESET NOD32) takes up a rather large amount of the paging file. I've tried closing every non-essential process without any apparent affect.

When I manually turn down my fan speed, it seems to happen more often, but will still happen if they're at full blast (Fans are SilverStone 120mm with 110Cubic Feet/Minute, according to the box, and I have three of them in there, which I figure would be enough cooling.. it doesn't feel very hot from the outs... What brand power supply? I would run a temp monitor, something
like speedfan. When you changed out the hsf, did you make sure
clean cpu, real well, and apply thermal compound as per instructions.
Did you insure you had a good tight bond to cpu with the hsf?
When you changed out cards, did you somehow change air flow..
Have you ran memtest? A flakey ram stick will act like this..
But to me it sounds like heat. A cheapo psu will make a system heat
up...You didnt get sucked into the $29.99 750watt piece o junk psu

Hi there

I'm experiencing full crashes at seemingly random intervals while playing WoW for a long time on a 4month old build.

I've not had this in any other game, even more taxing games like Shadow of Mordor / Alien Isolation.

When it crashes the screen immediately blanks out and sound will continuously play, a single random tone, until the system is shut off.

I've only seen a BSOD once and this was 'critical structure corruption'

I've tried uninstalling AMD drivers and reinstalling or altering WoW settings but this has been occuring for multiple patches.

Nothing out of the ordinary on the temps when it happens.

I've attached an SFdebug file and would appreciate any assistance possible

MANY thanks,

Allen

So I've had this computer since September and have not been having any issues until I updated to Windows 7 from Vista. Everything works fine and dandy until I decide to watch a video in full screen mode. It is the worst when watching online videos. Once the computer crashes the screen goes blank and all sound cuts out. The only way to restore the computer is to force it off. For online videos this happens in a few minutes or sometimes a few seconds and for downloaded videos this happens after a little longer, usually around thirty minutes. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all of the graphics and sound drivers and have run hard ware diagnostics on everything repeatedly. Any ideas? Also I do play very taxing games on this computer but I have never had any such issue.
