Huawei K3765 issues with Mobile Partner (Uninstalling drivers)

Q: Huawei K3765 issues with Mobile Partner (Uninstalling drivers)

Hello everyone,

I use Huawei K3765 USB Dongle. I have unlocked it so that I can use other SIM cards with it. I also had to install Mobile Partner for it. But now I am getting an error in Mobile Partner saying, "the device has been disconnected or is unavailable".

I can still connect to the internet through dial-up but to use 3G services I need Mobile Partner. Now here is a link where a solution is posted.

I would like to know whether uninstalling every driver under 'Universal Serial Bus Controllers' is safe or not.

Any sort of help will be appreciated.

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

A: Huawei K3765 issues with Mobile Partner (Uninstalling drivers)

And when connected to the internet via dial-up, Mobile Partner identifies my device. But before connecting to the internet, my device is not detected.
Mobile Partner cannot connect to the internet, but when connected via dial-up, I can disconnect via Mobile Partner.
Mobile Partner cannot read my data card ie signal strength is 0%, but it still shows the upload and download speeds when connected to the internet. It also shows the statistics, data downloaded, data uploaded, time spent online, etc. but I just cannot connect through Mobile Partner. I need to connect through Mobile Partner because only then will I be able to connect to a 3G network.

In short, mobile partner doesn't works when disconnected from the internet. Only once I connect to the internet via dial-up, mobile partner can be used.
Any help?

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my PC.

I installed my USB Modem (Huawei K3765, unlocked) but when I tried to connect to the internet using mobile partner, my PC suddenly crashed. The message on the BSOD was "bad_pool_caller". I use windows 8 pro 32bit. My modem worked perfectly fine on the previous version of windows (XP professional SP 3 and Windows 7 Ultimate, all 32 bit). I had no idea why this happened since the driver was succesfully installed (I checked in device manager, there was no problem with any device).

Can you give me some help? Thank you

I use a Huawei E169 via 3 and initially it would not install. I ended up allowing the software to install from the key drive, then rebooting and allowing it to install the software again.

If I recall from installing it on Win XP, it installs the drivers, asks you to reboot then installs the software to use it.

Hi guys,

Bit of a long explanation sorry, hope you can help me!!!

I am contracted to Vodafone in Spain for 3G mobile broadband, but their technical support dept doesnít speak English! My Spanish isnít good enough to deal with technical questions/support; although I know my way around a PC more or less, but the problem I am experiencing has me stumped.

I connect to Vodafone with a Huawei K3765 USB Modem, Vodafone Mobile Connect software & drivers are on the dongle which installs when you plug it in.

Everything has been fine, and no problems at all until last weekend when I got an ďRAS error 635Ē I get excellent reception, the option to connect to 3G, but get this error at every attempt. I CAN however connect to GPRS which is extremely slow.

To rule-out issues with the USB modem, I plugged it into a computer at work. It detected, installed and connected straight away to 3G with no problem, so it isnít the dongle; it has to be a hardware issue.

This is what Iíve done so far to resolve the problem:-

Uninstalled all traces of the dongle from Device manager by removing the following entries:-

View/devices by connection (ticked show hidden devices)
Under PCI Bus/USB Host Controllers, removed all of the following:-

USB Root Hub
USB Composite Device
USB Mass Storage Device/Vodafone CD Rom (Huawei) USB Device
USB Mass Storage Device/Vodafone Storage (Huawei) USB Device/Generic Volume

A:"RAS Error 635" on Huawei K3765 USB Modem (Vodafone)

Read other 8 answers

I just figured out the reason for, and solution to the Vodafone (Spain) USB internet stick error message:

RAS Error 635

I wanted to share it with you guys, because i searched all over internet to find a solution, and all I got was thousands of other people that was as confused as I. Vodafone Spain was not very helpful (of course, if I could speak the language, that might have helped...) and it seemed impossible to gain any information om how to solve it. I read about other people that had, like me, formated the HD and re-installed everything, with no change in the result. The message simply wouldn't go away. There is even a thread about this on this forum, but it is closed now, so that's why I made a new one.

Now, here is the solution:

Pay your bill !

Whats normal in Spain, is that the companies (like Vodafone) have an automatic payment agreement with you. That means that they don't send you an invoice, but simply just take the money from your account every month. Now, if there is not enough money there, they don't bother to tell you. The just assume that you don't want to use their product anymore, and then simply turn of your SIM card.
The RAS 635 error message is an error message that basically says that your SIM card is not working with the server at Vodafone.

So, now that you know that, the hard part is beginning; How to pay your bill:

First of all; go to your bank and fill up your bank account!!

Next, you need to know the amoun... Read more

question is in three parts. Win 7 Home Premium

1. used to have orange mobile broadband wi-fi but was not a good deal so i stopped it. The software stayed on my laptop.

I now signed up for Huawei mobile connect - 3G. On connecting dongle to laptop's USB, nothing happened( I was expecting an 'installing Huawei' window, etc). The dongle works as i can connect to the internet but on looking into it, the dongle connects via the previous Orange software - see two .jpg files. What does this mean? It is inconvenient as i cannot see how much up/download i have used, there does not a[ppear to be any Huawei software to give me any information. should i remove the Orange via Add/Remove Programs and start again with the Huawei dongle?

2. On looking at the security tab in Properties for Orange, am not happy with the CHAP and MS-CHAPv2. see jpg. Can i uncheck them without losing connectivity performance?

3. Still in Properties, Networking tab, dont like the file and printer sharing and client for Ms networks boxes either, just want the TCP/IP version4 box ticked.see jpg.Would i be right in having just IP4 checked?
As you can gather i dont have much of a clue about what is going on.

Ideas appreciated.

Hi all

Huawei e156g Mobile Broadband USB Stick
HP Pavilion dv7 2070ea
Windows 7 Professional 64bit

The laptop came preinstalled with Vista Home 64bit and i was able to use the mobile broadband without any issues.

I have installed Windows 7 Pro 64 in a dual boot config and it runs fine on wired or wireless connections, but when i try to use the mobile broadband i run into issues.

After the modem driver and software install and a few restarts I was able to get all the devices in the device manager to be happy, and i was able to connect via the 3 Connect software and access the internet. But after a few minutes Windows will inevitably lock up, regardless of what program is being used. The screen will freeze, there will be zero harddrive activity and the only course of action is to hold down the power button

The mobile broadbands company site says that the vista drivers should be happy on windows 7, but something isnt happy.

I really need to resolve this as my mobile broadband allows me to connect to various servers for work via its allowed IP address.

Is this the modem, the USB bus or something else?

I have checked the event log and there isnt anything useful in there.

Many thanks

Hi all,

Recently i purchaced a mobile broadband dongle from 3 on pay as you go. i installed it on my computer and everything worked fine, i then uninstalled the software from the laptop when i stopped using the modem. Now i am wanting to use the modem again when it starts to install it comes up with an error message saying ' The application has a pending system reboot. Please reboot and restart the installer.'

I have restarted the system on many occasions when it has said this but it wont get rid of the message and wont let the installation continue. I have spoken to 3 about the problem and they have said that i will need to edit the part in the registry that is telling the computer that this software requires a reeboot and then to try installing it again.

They are not allowed to tell me what part of the registry i need to edit because people have been changing the wrong things and damaging their computers. Does anybody know what part of the registry i need to edit to allow the installer to continue?

The details of the modem are:
Huawei Mobile Broadband
Model: E156G

Recently my Malware-bytes found a virus, and I simply removed it. However when searching on Google, I read there may be alterations to the registry and the virus may come back.

(I can't find the Malwarebytes log any longer, so I couldn't tell you what the virus name is)

Today I was going through my start up programs, learning what each one did, and noticed that there was one in particular that Google search was stating as a virus, including a thread on this very forum.

The start up is Partner BHO Class. (Partner.dll)

Besides this concern, I was wondering in general if anything else looked peculiar. I plan to start using Sandboxie and Returnil Virtual to prevent problems from occuring, and just want to make sure everything is good to go before I do that.

I have attached a text file of my start up (from Crap Cleaner).

Hi, Have a look at this page, enter your device details into it, seems to be the right site.
Also with Vista, when you start the installation of the drivers, use right-click and run as administrator , rather than open/run.
If there are no drivers for Windows 7, try the Vista version (get the correct version 32 or 64 bit.) They are often the same for many devices.

Hi all, The combination of HP 3D Driveguard (software) and HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor (system device) are preventing me from using newer, larger (1TB and 2TB) external USB hard drives. I've uninstalled Data Protection Sensor and when I reboot the computer, the larger drives are detected and they work, but around 90 seconds later Data Protection Sensor reinstalls itself and kicks the larger hard drives out. The HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor entry in Device Manager -> System Devices has five associated files:C:\Windows\System32\accelerometerdll.dllC:\Windows\System32\drivers\accelerometer.sysC:\Windows\System32\drivers\hpdskflt.sysC:\Windows\System32\HPMDPCoInst.dllC:\Windows\System32\HPservice.exe It is the hpdskflt.sys file that is loaded onto each disk drive (visible in Drive Details in Device Manager) that is blocking the larger drives to be properly recognized. I've uninstalled the HP Mobile Data Protection Sensor in Device Manager (checking the box Delete the Driver Software for this Device), but upon reboot it loads again. I've uninstall the HP 3D Driveguard software with CCleaner, hoping that would get rid of loose ends, registry keys, etc., but although Driveguard did not come back, the Data Protection Sensor did. I disabled a service called 'HP Service" thinking that may be triggering the reinstall, but each time I reboot, the service has changed itself to "Automatic" instead of "Disabled". I've uninstalled multiple times... Go to the control panel and disable the drive guard there first. You may have to click on "Icon" view in the upper right corner to find it. ( It has it's own Icon and user control panel where it first must be disable)  Go to "Programs and Features" and uninstall it as you did before and you will be prompted to restart your computer.  Go to the device manage and find the Drive Guard under "System Devices"  Uninstall the driver as you did before and tick this box off as shown in the screen shot and restart the computer.    This will of course create a warning sign in the device manager, and it should stay that way even after restarting the computer. I believe the trick is to do it in the order that I've laid out here. If the program reinstalls itself it may be possible that the HP Support Assistant is installing automatically.

Well here is my problem,

I wanted to download the latest updates and service packs onto my hard drive but as i have a slow connection i decided to take my hard drive over to my cousins as they have a much faster connection and would have taken less time. ( What a mistake this was, should have taken my whole tower)

Once i got there he replaced my hard drive straight over with his.. not putting it as the secondary slave. On boot up it got to the desktop and as its XP it auto detected all his hardware and installed lots of drivers from his hardware set up.

Anyway i finished the d/l took it back to mine and booted up.. this took about 3 mins longer just on the XP Pro loading screen. and then into a black screen and then to desktop..

i spoke to someone i know and they said the reason it was taking such a long time booting was because it was searching for my cousins drivers off his system. he said that it most likely wrote his drivers on the boot up file and that i would have to delete them. anyway i tried this, taking my tower to my cousins and plugging the hdd back into his so it would detect them, apparantly i couldnt do it from mine because XP only sees the drivers of the hardware its connected to. So i deleted what i could at his, put it back in my tower but its still taking forever to boot. The system doesnt seem to run any slower that it did before. i just dont like to wait around half a day for it to boot :( lol

It's impossible to know what exactly got changed, but moving the disk to another hardware platform and booting it is a very bad idea, as you have already figured out. :D

I'd opt for the clean install, and then invest in something along the lines of Norton GHOST to make image backups of your boot partition. GHOST has saved my butt serveral times when I've made big upgrades and didn't get the result I expected. :)

Hi, I recently installed windows 8 release preview on a dell inspiron b130 and everything works fine, except when I press windows + p or go to screen resolutions to hookup my tv. It says to reinstall or check my video card driver. This driver ( for intel mobile (r) 910/915 express chipset series) has not been update since 07, and I can't find any downloads for windows 8 online. Please help me get an updated driver or a workaround to get my monitor projecting onto my tv.

A:Intel mobile (r) 910/915 drivers for windows 8

I don't know whether it'll be possible.

The latest drivers from Intel for those graphics are for XP (XDDM). Windows 7 could use XDDM drivers, but without Aero Glass support. Win8 requires WDDM drivers (1.0 is Vista, 1.1 Win7, 1.2 Win8). They don't exist for those graphics. They probably will never exist.

Unless there's some way to get the generic VGA drivers to give you the features you need, you may be out of luck.

One of the drawbacks to the Release Preview is that it doesn't include the compatibility check that you get with the Upgrade Assistant from the RTM (final) version. I suggest that you download and run that. Bad news is expected.

I am having difficulty finding drivers for a 3.5" HD External Enclosure. No much info on this ... on the front it says Pan and Mobile, on the back Made in China.

This is for XP pro ... the OS does not recognize the drive once plugged into the USB slot ...

Any help would be appreciated.

A:Pan Mobile? Enclosure Drivers Needed

You don't need drivers for USB drives in Windows XP. Have you checked to make sure the driver is jumpered as Master? Many USB enclosures need the drive to be set to Master.

You also need to check Disk Management to see if the drive is detected there. If its a brand new drive then you must use Disk Management to Initialize, partition, and format the drive before you can use it. If the drive has been used before there may be a problem with it or with the partition on it.

A:Uninstalling Bluetooth Drivers

Those Bluetooth peripheral devices are things that have been detected by your Bluetooth adapter, for example mobile phones, tablets, Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth mice.

For these devices to disappear from the device manager you can turn off Bluetooth by disabling the adapter.

For these devices to be installed properly you may need to be paired with these devices first.

hello all,

At present I am trying to test a set of Nokia RNDIS drivers with a Nokia handset. Currently the system has some existing RNDIS drivers installed and I have attempted to uninstall them and/or delete the driver binaries in an attempt to 'clean slate' the system before attempting to install the Nokia drivers. I want to use the Nokia drivers and not the existing ones that are one the system.

There are issues. Firstly when I uninstall the driver and reboot the PC and then connect the USB cable, windows will prompt me to install drivers and will allow me to let windows search for the drivers automatically or specify a location. If I let windows automatically find some drivers, it finds and installs them. (usb8023x.sys, rndismpx.sys). Once the drivers are installed everything is ok but I am not using the set of driver that I wish to use.

Another approach is that if I uninstall them, then delete all traces from the system when the USB cable is connected the system still installs these files going through the same process where I let windows find the drivers. It seems that the system is caching the driver entries somewhere somehow.

If on the other hand that I go through the process again and specify a location and point windows at a directory where the drivers are (Nokia Drivers) it will still install the same drivers as before. It will not install the drivers that I am pointing at but rather the existing ones that I can not get rid of. Also note that the driv... Read more

A:uninstalling usb scanner drivers

Scanner drivers usually uninstall through Add/Remove Programs in control panel. You might have to find out what the name of the Memorex twain driver is to find it in Add/Remove programs. It might not be under Memorex. It isnít common to have to mess with the registry, but you need to know what Memorex calls their software to do any good there as well.

Some scanners show up in control panel and others in device manager Ė in either case you have to remove both the scanner and software to start from scratch.

When I inserted my MP3 player into my PC so that I can put some songs on it, my computer automaticly installed some drivers for it. I wasn't able to put any music on my MP3 player, because my PC kept saying that the program had stopped working. After that situation my crashing problem returned (see my PC crashing post). I don't know if this is the reason, but I've tried everything else, and this is the only thing that I could remember of. So how do I uninstall this MP3 player drivers?

A:Uninstalling drivers from Windows 7

What kind of MP3 player is it? Usually you can just go to start, right click computer, and then click on properties, and then click on hardware, then click on device manager. There should be a portable devices part there if your mp3 player is plugged in. double click on portable devices and then right click on the device you would like to uninstall and click uninstall

I know that you can "uninstall" a driver in the "Device Manager". However, I understand that even though when you do that, the driver and any reference to it is not totally removed from your computer. In other words, Windows does not really delete the driver. I seem to recall that there is a way to edit the registry so that all references are gone. My question is "How do I do that"? Here is the problem. I installed what I thought would be an updated driver for a video capture card. It turned out that the driver did not do the job. I can "uninstall" it but when I go to install the proper one, it will install fine but when I go to Windows Movie Maker, the new capture card is not recognized, only the old one. (I hope you understand that!!) Is there a Microsoft note that tells how to edit the registry to get rid of an old driver. Has anyone else on the forum had to do this? I am looking for particulars. What do I have to edit from the registry? From where in the registry do I edit? I am trying to be very cautious because I do not want ot mess the registry up and then have bigger problems!! Just asking!!! Sorry that this post has been so long!! Thanks, Walt <[email protected]>

A:Uninstalling Hardware Drivers in XP!!!

did you try clicking the properties tab of your vid card in device manager, click drivers tab, then click update the driver and point to the driver cd...or did you try that. Also in the driver pane click driver details ,at the bottom you should be able to scroll down to see all the drivers that the vid card uses. You could note the location and do not delete, just add like the word " old " ( may have to go into safe mode ) then reboot and install the correct drivers....do not delete the drivers.

Also note that the driver... Read more

Since I was forced to repopulate ati related directories in the winsxs directory to get sp1 to install I've been consistently getting bald crashes when trying to uninstall cat drivers. I goto control panel, add remove, uninstall with cat install utility all ati drivers and while the process is going about halfway through the screen goes black then a message saying hardware failed and the computer restarts. Afterwards all is fine but I'm forced to update by installing over the old drivers. Anybody see this before and know how to fix this? Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks.

A:Bsod when uninstalling cat drivers. How to fix?

Download new ati driver, driversweeper and CCleaner first

reboot Hit F8 just after last bios hard drive message and go into emergency start/'safe mode' and try and unload ati if prog lets you.
If it won't, uninstall the ati driver and tell system to delete driver(bung it on vga basic driver)in 'puta management.

After it does that go onto C:drive and delete the contents of the ati folder.
Start driversweeper and look for ati stuff - delete
Restart pc
do another ati-sweep then run CCleaner 'registry clean' and have a look if any debris is left (save a backup if you decide to clean registry)
Go back to 11.x and start driver/cat install process

Same is happening to me
(after the last two months of security updates - even got some extras today(thurs) after "download tuesday")

Computer has destabilised with mouse freezes and graphics causing loads of problems (can't update from 11.1 driver stably on AGP - new installs are stalling too)
Some games refuse to start after last months 'security updates' (including two popular M/Soft games)

I've been running video since the old voodoo 3 cards, though technically it's been longer but I got my own computer when the voodoo 3's were out. =P Anyways, I've been working with drivers since then, and I usually update every time a new update comes out and never uninstall. Heck, I don't even re-boot after installing!!! From my understanding, drivers are the same as kernel modules (, or at least what we talk about in our linux world)... And so shouldn't they just work after loading? I mean in linux... Well lets say in linux removing driver's is a lot more of a pain than windows and so I really want to know what all the fuss is about. But I can't find it anywhere that says exactly why you should do it, and if it's even worth doing. I've always seen it as a waste of time, and all the old files should be overwritten or cleaned out. Idk, I've just never ran into errors from just installing, I've never seen any real evidence that proves uninstalling has any gains.

A:Uninstalling old video drivers, why?

Uninstalling is good and necessary for Creative drivers. Not only that, manual removal necessary too.

As for NVIDIA and ATI drivers - I've never uninstalled them since XP days and it probably wasn't even necessary then either.

Sometimes noobs get themselves into situations being "creative" with installing drivers for NVIDIA or ATI. Then they have to use something like driver sweeper to clear the system. Basically, the need is from user created problems only.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, I've tried various Mobile Phone forums without success and contacted SonyEricsson awaiting a reply.

I've a SonyEricsson K750i Mobile Phone and I'm trying to connect to my PC.
I've downloaded the software "PC Suite" from SonyEricsson's website for the Model of phone and installed it. When I connect the USB cable and the Phone, they are not seen as new devices for installing.

If I go to Device Manager they are not listed in "Ports or USB". If I go to "Add Hardware" they are not found and if I go through to install the driver manually for the cable, a message comes up saying the drivers are not digitally signed and will not install it. Yet this is from SonyEricsson's offical site.

How can I overcome this and get windows to see them and working.

I'm running XP with SP2

A:Cannot install USB cable drivers for Mobile phone

One thing I've not mentioned is; when the cable is attached to the phone, it flashes for a second on the phone to say "Charging" and the icon shows its charging. When it does not actually charge the phone.

I've a Samsung SHG-E200 Mobile. I first had Windows Vista on my PC but now I've upgraded to Windows 7. Mobile's Vista compatible drivers were successfully installed on Vista but now Windows 7 isn't supporting these drivers.

I went to Samsung SHG-E200 official site and they gave Vista Compatible drivers on that site, I downloaded those and installed but still windows 7 isn't supporting those drivers and Windows 7 drivers are not given on the site and I think Vista and 7 should have same driver but I don't know why are not here. So What I do for installing my mobile's driver in Windows 7?

we have to use autoruns to disable those 2 drivers -> reboot -> delete .sys files manually. Uninstallers seem to be uneffective

I have not had a single BSOD on my system running Windows XP Home since 2008...literally.
Today, I uninstalled some software.  I uninstalled a PC web camera driver and software and also uninstalled some VIA motherboard update software.  I haven't used this software some time and it is not even set to auto-run when Windows starts up.
I also ran the registry cleaner in Piriform's CCleaner before restarting.
Upon restarting, I was greeted with a BSOD Stop error 0x0000007B (0xF789E528, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
No other information.
Using the recovery console, I have attempted chkdsk /r and fixboot.  No fix.  (I have not tried fixmbr)
I also attempted to use system restore through the recovery console.  I only have one recent restore date to try, which was made when I uninstalled the VIA update software.  I followed the steps provided here () and they did not help me.  I still get the BSOD when restarting.  Last known good figuration and safe mode also result in the same BSOD.
Asus K8VSE Deluxe Motherboard
AMD 3400+ Processor
Seagate 320mb SATA harddrive
ATI X800 Pro Video
Creative Audigy 2 ZS Audio
She's an older system but that really isn't to blame....there is no hardware issue here...it must be a result of the programs and drivers I uninstalled via add/remove programs, or the registry cleaning process.  I have used the registry cleaning process... Read more

A:XP BSOD After Uninstalling Software + Drivers

1) Registry Cleaners CAUSE problems, they do not cure them. I suggest you run the UNDO function in the registry cleaner and then never use it again.
2) What VIA mother board software did you uninstall? Look in Device Manager. Are there any yellow or red symbols?
3) Download BlueScreenView:
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your next reply
