I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I purchased my Yoga 910-131KB a little over a year and a half ago. I've had startup errors prior to this where the laptop charger light would not come on, even though it was plugged in, there were no tears, kinks, or otherwise problems with the charger cord, the outlet was working, etc. This happened enough times that I called customer service and they could not provide assistance; the customer service trouble shooting suggestions were things I've already done. Everytime this happened, I would push a bobby pin in the reset button next to the headphone icon and after selecting normal startup, the computer usually turned on. If it did not turn on after trying this, I'd wait a few minutes or an hour and try again.  This past week, as I noticed my laptop was around 50%, I plugged in my charger and got the dreaded "plugged in, not charging" notification next to my battery icon. According to other posts on this community forum, troubleshooting steps outlined by lenovo under "support", and lenovo customer service, it has come to my attention that this spells imminent computer death. Hello, I have seen several topics about this already, and I have followed the solutions posted. However the audio driver still does not work. I have rebooted, uninstalled, tried to update, tried to redo the graphics driver... The list goes on and on. Surely there is something I am missing? (And when I try to go to Playback devices it says so drivers downloaded) (I have also tried to uninstall the non-working driver, but when I restart the "new" one that installs is the same one)

Guru with a problem.

Recently, my 910 has started having an issue with flickering black lines that dance up and down the display. The lines are horizontal and are reminiscent of watching analog television with someone flipping a light switch on and off in another room. Hope that describes it. For a while, shutting down the computer, opening the display to tablet, then bending it back to laptop would resolve the issue. Now, it's pretty constant. Battery or AC.  On occasion, the display will distort as in the attached pics

Yes, have all the latest drivers. This really looks like a loose connector, to me. Have not broken open the case and do not plan to so long as it's still under warranty.

In the MS Word photo, below, you can see two of the flickering lines toward the bottom of the screen. (ignore the reflection of a window in the "Paragraph" box)

Also ignore the reflection of a window in the upper left of the desktop distortion photo and the round ceiling light reflections on the right hand side.

Suggestions welcome.

I am a very frustrated and angry customer at the moment as i keep running into Road Block and unacceptable answers.  This issue is enough to cause me to never buy another Lenovo laptop or any laptop at Best Buy!I bought my computer in July and in September i noticed a key had popped off-  the "< ," key next to the M key.  I have used the key board only when i was setting up-  now at my office and at customers i set it in downward dog mode ;-) and use a blue tooth key board.    So it is not from use that it broke.   I took the laptop into BEST BUY and was told that the key was missing a metal part on the back so they could not fix it onsite-  i would have to send it in and be without my laptop for a week to 10 days - unacceptable -  this was a month or more ago. I searched on the LENOVO website and could not find a way to purchase a single or the entire set of Keys!  I am self employed as a software consultant.   My life is pretty busy and i finally decided today to bite the bullet and ask for a call from Lenovo support.  Again i am told the only way to fix this is to send my laptop in for a repair.  I asked to just be able to buy a KEY - i am told that well they do not sell individual keys - they would replace the entire keyboard!  So sell me the keyboard and or send me one an i will take into best buy to have them replace it while i wait.  They cannot do that.   I live... So I just recently bought a Yoga 920, Star Wars Editon, this last weekend. And today I had my phone connected up through the USB-A port, and while attempting to remove the cable from the laptop, it took a little more effort than normal, only to find that one of the pins inside the port had been bent. I took it into Best Buy to have GeekSquad take a look, and aside from sending it out and having to wait 1-2 week, they suggested I contact Lenovo about the port replacement ability, and then bringing it in for them to work on. So, my question is, is the USB-A port a replaceable part, and if so how would I go about getting a part? Or will I need to have them handle it and send out for repairs?

Does Lenovo sell a compatible docking station for the USB Type-C port? I am looking for a ethernet port, video port (HDMI & VGA) and multiple USB 3.0 ports on a dock that connects to the new USB Type-C port.

A:USB Type-C docking station for Yoga 900

As far as I know, Lenovo currently doesn't offer a USB Type C docking station for the Yoga 900. As you can't charge the Yoga 900 using the USB Type C port, you have to plug in two cables anyway. You might consider buying this adapter by Dell: http://www.amazon.com/Dell-Adapter-Type-Ethernet-470-ABQN/dp/B012DT6KW2 Unfortunately, it only has one USB 3.0 port, but it offers one HDMI, one VGA and one Ethernet port as desired.

Hey everyone, I've been searching high and low for some info.  I have looked to see if I can find some info but I am unable to find a solution.  I currently have a Lenovo 370 with a Lenovo ThinkPad USB-C Dock( https://www3.lenovo.com/us/en/accessories-and-monitors/home-office/Thinkpad-USB-C-Dock/p/40A90090US )  Currently I am running into an issue where I can run two monitors (any combo DP and VGA) and they will run at full resolution.  As soon as the third monitor is connected; doesn't matter the combo or how the third is plugged in, it runs at 640x480 resolution and will not adjust to proper resolution. I have run TVSU and all are updated, and even within windows 10 updates are complete.  Intel support shows that the card can be running at three monitors.  I have a T460s as well that can run the three monitors with the Ultra Dock at full resolution so I know it is not a monitor issue. I am wondering is this a limitation of the Yoga itself or is this a problem with the ThinkPad USB-C dock? Any ideas would be greatly appriciated. Thanks!

Since I bought this laptop I have had many problems with the touchpad/cursor jumping around etc. Please help me out here -- what are is the precise, current names and locations of the drivers for this machine? It does have the Wacom pen installed also, if that is a factor. The touchpad hardware has its own problems, but after disabling the touchpad I still have problems with the cursor jumping. While I wrote and edited this short post it done it over 30 times, typically jump the cursor up a line or two. When I ask Lenovo utilities to verify or update the drivers all I get are generic (creaky old) Microsoft drivers. Is that all there is? Are there drivers actually written for this laptop hardware, for this touchpad or combination of hardware? I would really appreciate help with this, it is driving me batty and I can't  count how many times I have had the urge to throw this machine out the window. In frustration I just stopped using a brand new laptop.

Hello, I have a pretty new Yoga 920-13IKB.  The USB Type A port just stopped working out of the blue yesterday.  I tried the normal stuff like deleting the usb entries in device manager, disabling fastboot and trying different devices, but nothing is recognized.  I have a USB C to USB A adapter and when I plug a USB A device into the laptop via the USB C port/adapter, that does work fine.  The USB A port does charge my phone though, so it's not totally dead. Anything else I can check on the software side?  It certainly seems like a hardware issue to me. As far as warranty support, I do have Microcenter nearby.  How does support with them work?  It looks like the USB A assembly is a separate board and is not part of the motherboard, so that should be easily replaceable.  Does Microcenter carry parts like that or do they still send it out for that? Thanks!
