Pass leaked

Q: Pass leaked

Hello, i would like to ask, recently i got email from an app that 2 ppl tryed to log into my acc from different locations, did not remember clicking or using something suspicious..my question is.. if my pc was hijacked why would you try to login to some 3rd party app using for communication instead of sth else? The app says the password was a valid one and it was a 12digit pass, is it possible just for that one pass to be leaked or if i click on sth all are leaked or any hints
Besr regards

Preferred Solution: Pass leaked

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hi All,
I tested the following attacks in Microsoft Advanced Threat Analytics and found them
not to be working.

Bruteforce Attack Pass-The-Ticket Pass-The-Hash Sensitive account exposed Using Plain-Text Authentication
I have tested other attacks like Reconnaissance
using DNS, Broken Trust, Honey Token account suspicious activities but they are working perfectly fine. I don't know
what's the issue with the above 4.
1. Bruteforce Attack:
I used thc-hydra-windows and triggered a dictionary attack using a list of passwords.

2. Pass-The-Ticket:
I used mimikatz to steal the kerberos ticket from a PC on which Admin is logged on. Impersonating an attacker, I copied the .kirbi file and Injected that file(using mimikatz again) to another PC on which a domain user is logged in.

3. Pass-The-Hash:
(Same as above)
4. Sensitive account exposed in plain text authentication:
I used mimikatz command 'sekurlsa :: logonpasswords' and was able to get passwords of all the users who logged on to that PC. But this was also not detected by MATA.

Please help me with the above issues. If possible, provide the tools using which I can trigger and detect those attacks.

Don't go for a password. Use the PIN option That's just what you need and it's really a great thing as well.

I have recently installed ATA (1.8.6645.28499). It is now in to the second week of its learning phase and it is raising a considerable number of false pass-the-hash alerts when users initiate Citrix sessions from their usual PC using pass-thru authentication,
eg a typical alert would be:
Bloggs,Fred's hash was stolen from one of the computers previously logged into by Bloggs,Fred and used from xx1234
Clearly this is spurious - in each case the user is initiating a Citrix session from their
own PC and the xx1234 represents a Citrix server in the farm in every case.
1) Why am I only receiving a handful of related PTH alerts each day when I have many thousands of Citrix users, all authenticating in the same manner?
2) How can I supress these alerts?
What I effectively want to say is 'IF the suspected PTH is being triggered BY the user on their OWN PC and the target server is in our Citrix farm' then ignore it. I can't see a way of setting an exclusion range like this for PTH events though?

1. How do I prompt the user for the dates in Access? I can't use parameters and I don't understand how to use a prompt otyher than that.
2. How do I get those user responses into the query below

TechConnect Magazine - GeForce 185.63 leaked
Vista32 and Win7 32 (maybe)

After quite a long run in the 180s, we're now back in the 185s, where drivers are leaked and ambient occlusion roams free. Leaked, but only for Windows Vista 32bit (works with Windows 7 32bit too, apparently), the GeForce 185.63, which is to be considered beta, is dated March 27 (making it the newest driver yet), is bundled with the PhysX 9.09.0203 system software and has support for GeForce G92-based 8800, 9 and 200 series cards, including the almost released GeForce GTX 275.

The 185.63 includes an ambient occlusion tab in the control panel like the GeForce 185.20, but unlike its predecessor, the options available are just Off and On, no Low, Medium, High. To try out the GeForce 185.63 (beta) check out good ol' 2Many.

Hi BC.com staff,I'm trying to troubleshoot the second of my two computers. I'm in the process of trying to figure out if my personal info, mainly my CC #, got leaked to the wrong people. This all came about when fraudulent charges started to appear on my statement. My personal computer (the one that I'm most concerned about) came up clean with the excellent help of the Propaganda Panda. I was hoping to run through the same process on my work computer to make sure it's good to go as well - hopefully. Here's the low-down: Dell Latitude D520 w/ Norton Anti-Virus and AdAware installed. Switched my browser to FireFox and also have Link Scanner installed to keep me safe on-line. Norton is set-up as my firewall. I try and keep up on my updates as much as possible and all the virus scans that I've run - AdAware, Norton and HouseCall - come back with only tracking cookies. But I have noticed my computer running slower and a bit quirky....Thanks in advance!!!

There was a firesale of the Carberp code the week of June 17th - apparently (as far as I understand) one of the members of the Carberp cyber-crime gang began selling the code without the authorization of his partners in crime.  At the height of the sale I read that that going price was $50k.  But then a week later the code was leaked (the RAR containing the kit was being distributed on various underground hacker community sites, but did not include the password until about a week ago when that was then posted.)
I guess the archive is about 5GB in size and allegedly contains the commented source code for Carberp and all of its modules, including the bootkit ones; the source code for the administration panel used on Carberp command-and-control servers; exploits for two Windows privilege escalation vulnerabilities that have been patched in 2012, CVE-2012-0217 and CVE-2012-1864; and so-called “Web inject” scripts that allow the malware to interact with different online banking websites.
I know this is "old news" at this point, but I haven't seen it yet here so thought it would be a good first post!

Windows 7 OEM Product Key Leak

Yesterday we were alerted to reports of a leak of a special product key issued to an OEM partner of ours. The key is for use with Windows 7 Ultimate RTM product that is meant to be pre-installed by the OEM on new PCs to be shipped later this year. As such, the use of this key requires having a PC from the manufacturer it was issued to. We've worked with that manufacturer so that customers who purchase genuine copies of Windows 7 from this manufacturer will experience no issues validating their copy of Windows 7. At the same time we will seek to alert customers who are using the leaked key that they are running a non-genuine copy of Windows. It's important to note that no PCs will be sold that will use this key.

Windows 7 already includesan improved ability to detect hacks, also known as activation exploits, and alert customers who are using a pirated copy. There is a hack that is said to enable, when paired with the leaked key, a system to install and use a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate. Both the hack and the key are indications that a copy of Windows may not be genuine. The Windows Activation Technologies included in Windows 7 are designed to handle situations such as this one, and customers using these tools and methods should expect Windows to detect them.

Our primary goal is to protect users from becoming unknowing victims, because customers who use pirated software are at greater risk of being exposed to malware as well as identity th... Read more

A new week and another build of Windows 10 has leaked. This time around it is build 10151; the origination of this leak is coming from China much like the last build 10147.
While we do not know the entire list of changes yet, this build will have the new phone companion app that Microsoft has recently announced. But, unlike the last leak, this version should work and not crash upon opening.
Once we have this version installed, we will post up a gallery of the screenshots. While we don't expect too many changes, Microsoft is in the final stages of getting its RTM build ready, seeing as it has been a couple of weeks since the last release, there are likely a few tucked away in the OS.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

The last build to leak was 9901 which showed up in December. The last official build to be released was 9926 but a new build is on the horizon; a faster release cadence is coming soon too.

Hi there
Using the new IE11 in a recent leaked build (Windows 8.1) I get a message from Google that the URL is too big to process -- however it works in IE10 -- hopefully the error will be fixed before the final / release version of Windows 8.1 is out or this will cause a lot of aggro too.

It's an ad page but I don't care -- the URL should either appear or be blocked if you are blocking popups. I was just testing IE11 without any "Extras / plugins".

Anyway the funny side is that it appears even the mighty Google has found something it can't handle !!!.

Hi there
I've been playing around with W8 Blue (Leaked) in a VM -- PLEASE DO NOT PM for links -- you can do your own research.

I've installed this on VMware workstation Release 9 (latest release- you can use the FREE vmplayer instead if you don't have workstation).

1) You see a "Pre release" agreement screen shot enclosed. It's W8 PRO BTW. (X-86 -- no x-64 GENUINE link so far from what I can find).

2) Install runs quite normally as per "Normal Windows 8". Fast install time (around 8 mins -- but remember I'm installing with a "Virtual iso - not from a physical device). Hardware detection fine -- I'll try it on an OLD isolated latop later to see how it works on a PHYSICAL machine -- I'm using a Leaked version so I want to ensure no nasties etc in it.

3) You can turn OFF track websites I've visited in IE -- note it's IE11 -- can't remember if that existed in the previous version of W8. Default setting is OFF (Comes up when setting up the system at first boot after installation while setting accounts etc). Install VMware tools after install for full graphics / mouse etc.

4) No serial number etc is required to install

5) it's IE11 not IE10

6) expires 15 Jan 2014

Now I've got the base installed I'll try and see what the tile customisation etc has and report back later.

So far the build seems legit enough.

Have the Chinese essentially leaked Nvidia's latest and greatest? The card should be announced next month, but we likely won't see it till February 2011. According to Chiphell, the GTX 580 will feature 512 CUDA cores, most likely arranged in 16 SMs of 32 SP each. The shader clocked will be at 1544MHz while the core clock will be at 772MHz. The GTX580 also has 1536MB/384bit of GDDR5 memory, with the memory frequency set to 4008MHz, memory bandwidth up to 192.4GB/sec, and texture fill rate at 49.4billion/sec. The net result is an expected performance jump of 20 percent over the GTX 480.
Two pictures (above) of the company's forthcoming flagship product, based on the codenamed GF110 GPU, have supposedly emerged on PCinlife. It's hard to verify whether these images are legitimate, but the graphics card certainly does not look like anything that is currently available from the company or its partners. The quality of the pictures suggests that they were taken from an official presentation by the company. Two DVI-I outputs as well as an HDMI connector are visible, and the cooling system is sizeable.

An interesting looking fan, for sure. I will be curious to see how the card stacks up once released

Too bad the "quality of the pictures suggests they were taken from an official presentation," but they are very small and a paltry 96 pixels/inch on the site.

Yesterday I've been informed by ma bank that unauthorized transaction was probably held on my account via credit card. Logged onto my account and found 200 EUR missing. After being into computers world for like 10 years it's not something you'd like to happen. You hear and read about it but don't expect it to happen to yourself... Anyway it did and now I want at least know how could it happen.
I was using avira for a long time but to be honest I didn't fully scan my laptop for a period of time. Yesterday I downloaded Kaspersky Internet Security 2014 (trial) which is "advised" by my bank's support. So, it found stuff like that:

Trojan.Win32.StartPage.cdus (I guess related to web browsers content changing)
Trojan.Win32.Staser.fv (that's the one i am a bit scared of as for now...)
also some little guy named AdWare.Win32.D365.a

And here's my question. Is any of these 3 above able to send my credit cards or bank account details to "third party" people? As far as I'm concerned Staser can.
If not - I guess the main reason of my money lost is that I entered credit card details on some unauthorized website (what to be honest i can't remember eh).

Well, it's too late to "heal" my laptop, I am surely going for total formatting of all HDD and re-installing OS. But if you can give me more details about what I found on it and if it could be the reason - thank you.

with regards!

"Windows 7 Build 7004 is live. In the context of the imminent Windows 7 public Beta release development milestone, build numbers of the next iteration of the Windows client are being joggled around with Microsoft managing to remain mute and confirm no piece of information. The silence might be deafening on the official communication channels, but the Redmond company is indeed dogfooding Windows 7 Build 7004, a version that has evolved past the 69xx build numbers associated with the pre-beta releases of the operating system, but also with the 7000 build number that has become associated with the first fully-fledged Beta of Windows Vista's successor.

Scott Wylie, Microsoft's New Zealand Director of Development and Platform Strategy, is one of the software giant's employees testing Windows 7 Build 7004. Wylie leaked the first screenshot of Windows 7 Build 7004's desktop in a post that has been removed since then, but which continues to be accessible through Google cache.

?I like the new taskbar which combines the old Quick Launch with running apps. I wish I had more control over icon size - still not big enough on my 1400 x 1050 screen to my eye. I love the fact that at long last I can change the order of running tasks on the task bar! I'm one of the small number of people who uses the auto-hide feature of the taskbar (in Vista I used a two story taskbar with Quick Launch along the top and running apps below) to provide more real estate. Wow, I wouldn't have thought that it would be that soon. I do not see how or why it would be that early for a RTM though.

These drivers are VERY BETA, use at your own risk!

However, I have noticed a slight increase in performance (Versus the 186.18 Drivers) in the Crysis Benchmark as well as the Counter-Strike: Source stress test.

I haven't tried 3DMark or any of that jazz yet.

There's a new NVIDIA GeForce driver out on the loose and it's in fact the first series 190 driver ever. This is Forceware 190.15 The driver is available for Windows Vista 32- and 64-bit and for Windows XP 32-bit flavor is available.

Very little is known about this driver but we need to that the original .inf file shows it was targeted at Quadro cards. We replaced the index with a modified .inf files (courtesy of laptopvideo2go) making the driver compatible with all current GeForce cards.

Interesting is that the Vista / Win 7 drivers also contact 3D Stereo drivers revision 190.15, look inside the archive to spot that yourself.
These drivers are to be considered very beta and thus treated as such. You install them at your own risk, don't complain to us or NVIDIA if they do not work out for you.

The message, which refers to an alternate name for the upcoming Live Messenger, includes a link. Users who click on the link, then download and run the executable, are installing the Virkel.f Trojan.

Helsinki-based F-Secure told users to ignore instant messages with the subject head "MSN Messenger 8 Working BETA" that go on to claim that "Messenger 8 BETA has been leaked!"

The message, which refers to an alternate name for the upcoming Live Messenger, also sports a link. Users who click on the link, then download and run the executable, are in reality installing the Virkel.f Trojan.

Virkel.f adds the compromised machine to a botnet, from which the hacker can update the Trojan with additional malicious code, to make the PC into a spam zombie or along with others, launch a denial-of-service (DoS) attack on Web sites. Virkel.f also shuts down anti-virus and security software, and blocks access to sites that belong to security vendors.

This bot worm spreads by hijacking IM contact names from an infected computer, then spimming those names with new messages about the "leaked" client.

Live Messenger, which is being tested by a limited number of users, recently made news when some began selling invitations to the beta test on eBay.Click to expand...
