LENOVO C50 All-in-One PC Touchscreen Query

Q: LENOVO C50 All-in-One PC Touchscreen Query

Hi all I have a LENOVO - C50 23" Touchscreen All-in-One PC and am unsure if I have a problem or just need to find a setting. It's running Windows 10 Home, fully up to date with available updates. The problem is: I can only use the touchscreen on the right hand portion of the screen. So out of the entire 51 cm of visible screen, I can only use the touchscreen on the 18 cm portion of screen on the right. Is this a driver issue? Are there config settings or is this hardware? I've seen other touchscreen queries for Lenovo products and I've updated all graphics/other Lenovo software to latest versions and also removed the Touchscreen device from the Device Manager and allowed it to reappear after a reboot. All to no effect.

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Hi. Seems we have a small problem with our touchscreen.
The laptop was dropped at one point, the frame and cover were damaged but the touchscreen itself was not hurt. We replaced the damaged parts, but now the 'touch' part is not responsive. In device manager it is listed as "LCD 1440x900", and when we click on the "N-trig DuoSense Digitizer" it comes back as "no devices found". The frame and front screen cover were all we changed, everything else remains original.
For a couple weeks, while we were waiting for the parts to come in the mail, we used the computer with the screen propped up inside the old cover, (stupid, yes, but it's our only computer). During this time "N-trig" came on a lot, because the mouse would move erratically by itself.
We can't seem to locate the device or drivers. Any help you can give us will be much appreciated.

I have lenovo flex 15 with windows 8. I bought it in 2013.. I dont know when did my touchscreen started to not working as i seldomly use it.. When i check my device manager, there is no"PC and tablet" section.. No "touchsreen device" in "mice nd other pointing device" too (as i read some suggest to uninstall that device and restart to make the touchscreen work again. But unfortunately i dont have it. So this method is not applicable to me). While in "Human interface device" there are 9 "HID-compliance device " (which i do not know what it is" and also 4 "HID-compliance consumer control device". I tried uninstall them all and restart but my touchscreenstill not working and the HIDs thing appeared there again.. I dont know what to do..please help me with any possible solutions???

Hi All, So I've had this aesthetically pleasing yoga 3 pro for about a month with the purpose for it to be used as a Uni Laptop.  However I've come across a few issues that I am hoping I can get some help with. Firstly, I've lost all ability to use the touchscreen. Windows Device Managers is seeing it, but I have no way to enable/disable or test. Is there something I am missing? Secodly, through basic use I am finding the CPU and RAM usage well in excess of 80% for a lot of the time, with the system coming to a near grinding halt if I have approximately a dozen chrome tabs open, a couple of office docs and youtube or spotify running....this is a little worrying. Specification wise the laptop should be able to run the with very little hassle. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi fatwalletguy ,

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Ideally it would be best if we use the machine number to verify the details of the machine listed on the sticker or check it here . (just keep your serial number confidential).

Upgrade checker can help provide information for recommended upgrades but OEM system have its own whitelist as controlled by the BIOS. Therefore , it would always suggest to check it first with the manufacturer .

My touchscreen suddenly stopped functioning.  No known update recently - have been running Windows 10 for months now with no problem.  When I went into my device manager, I noticed that the "HID-compliant touchscreen" under the Human Interface Devices dropdown is hidden. When I find it by showing hidden devices, there are no drivers there for it (the box just says that "no driver files are required or have been loaded for this device"), so something must have removed it. Any idea how to get those drivers back so that my touchscreen will function again?  It's like my PC doesn't recognize that my display should be touchscreen capable.  I don't even have a calibrate

I've had my ideapad (flex 15 20309) for about 2 years and was working fine. Around 5 months ago I noticed my touchscreen wouldn't work any more. Sometimes after a reboot it would seem to come back to life but now I can't figure out what is going on. I seem to have Microsoft Windows 10 home as the operating system. I can't find any setting or keystroke or anything that can get my touchscreen back to life. Help! My touchpad (mousepad) works fine and I'm using a USB mouse as well because I don't like using the mousepad. The only thing I think has changed in the last 5 or 6 months was probably windows 10 and the regular updates that are done via windows 10.

Press Windows+X.
- Select Device Manager.
- Find the Touchscreen driver under Mice and Other Pointing Devices>USB Touchscreen Controller(A111).  You're going to uninstall this and check the box that says "Delete the driver software for this device".  Don't worry, it won't blow up your computer.
- Restart your computer.
- Re-open the Device Manager, and confirm that the Touchscreen is now listed under Human Interface Devices.

Hey there, I recenently got one of the Lenovo Notebooks of the Yogaseries, which exactly it is, is stated in the title. However, since yesterday I never had any problems with it, I really like it, the convertible function etc., but it seems, that my display registeres touches Im not applying, it touches like everywhere over my screen and I dont even have my hands on the computer. When I restart it or install the touchpad driver from the supportsection for my notebook, it is okay for like 10 mins and then it goes all over again. I found an interesting solution for a similar problem, its in this thread: https://support.lenovo.com/de/de/documents/SF15-I0024 I have literally the same issue, problem is, the fix which is downloadable there, seems to only work for panels from LG, I figured out the hardware ID from my IPS panel, but I cant figure out where its factured or where I can get a fix for this issue. The ID is: MONITOR\  "CMN14B1" At the moments its okay but I always have this weird box right in the middle of my screen: https://abload.de/img/unbenanntdvscn.jpg Its always like that before it goes crazy like 5 minutes later, I think I have to restart soon again, its really annoying and I really cant do something like that. regards

I am unable to find anywhere on Lenovo's site about this aspect. Can my system run on a 16 GB RAM setup? Are my system's board and processor (i3 5th gen) capable of having 16GB RAM on board? If so, Is it advisable to buy two sticks of 8GB RAM from one fo the above mentioned compatible RAMs (suggested by Lenovo partslookup site) for my system ? I welcome your suggestions/advise/guidance on this, if possible. Thanks in advance!

Hello, So I am looking for a genuine battery replacement for my Lenovo Y700-15ISK. I got the model of the battery which is currently installed (L14S4P22) and searched it up and to get a fair list of batteries but they didn't specify the model of laptop I have got. Most, if not all, had model numbers 15-ACZ, 15-IFI and Y700-ISE but not 15-ISK. So would it be safe to buy a battery replacement even when they are directed to be battery replacements for those Y700 models? Or do I need to find the specific model that fits with my laptops model number? Also, I've seen most of them displayed as 14.8V batteries, but I've seen my battery's voltage go over 14.8V? Or am I relating two different things? ( https://gyazo.com/8fc1e98d9f962a47003d3051202fd0e2 ). Thanks,Duke J Morgan.

NOTE: I could not post code because I must be really careful to protect proprietary information.

I work in an assembly plant and I've designed an Access 2003 program to deliver a set of 4 crucial parts to the floor all within a very narrow degree of tolerance. Further, the program integrates FIFO.

Ive done this by assigning each of the essential measurements codes and then running a series of queries:

Query 1 identifies the oldest Part A by sorting the available parts by the date they were inspected then by serial number (to break ties) and delivering the TOP 1.
Query 2 identifies the oldest Part B that is compatible with that Part A using the same method.
Query 3 identifies the oldest Part C that is compatible with that Part B.
Query 4 identifies the oldest Part D that is compatible with the other end of Part A. I have the parts in this order because we can begin assembly if we don't have a Part D on hand, but we must have Parts A, B, and C.
Finally, query 5 simply pulls the information from those queries into one location for a report.
As long as we have enough stock, life is good; but the moment a match cannot be made, it blows up. I cannot figure out how to make it go back to choose the next Part A. I need to figure out how and where to add code to each query to tell it that if no stock is compatible with the Part A produced by Query 1, to go back and pick the next one in line.

Hi there,

I'm very new to access and I hope I will get the simplest solution on my question below.

I have a table named "PurchaseOrder" and I'd want to create a query that will display the invoices that will due.

Eg:

Table1
PONo Customer Quantity SalesPrice InvoiceDueDate
3241 A 421 $12 17-Oct-2010
6589 B 521 $19 14-Oct-2010
2234 C 987 $32 15-Oct-2010
8697 D 888 $88 18-Oct-2010

I want to create 2 queries.

The first query will display all the invoices that will due 5 days before the exact due date.
Eg:
The invoice due date is 15-Oct-2010. The query will display information on 3241, 6589, and 2234.

For the second query, I want to display all the invoices that have exceeded the due date. The information on the respective invoices will be transfered from the query as mentioned earlier to the new query.

The scenario is as below:

Date: 16-Oct-2010

Query1

PONo Customer Quantity SalesPrice InvoiceDueDate
3241 A 421 $12 17-Oct-2010
8697 D 888 $88 18-Oct-2010

Query2

PONo Customer Quantity SalesPrice InvoiceDueDate
6589 B 521 $19 14-Oct-2010
2234 C 987 $32 15-Oct-2010
Date: 18-Oct-2010

Query2

PONo Customer Quantity SalesPrice InvoiceDueDate
8697 D 888 $88 18-Oct-2010

Query2

PONo Customer Quantity SalesPrice InvoiceDueDate
6589 B 521 $19 14-Oct-2010
2234 C 987 $32 15-Oct-2010
3241 A 421 $12 17-Oct-2010
Hope someone can help me with this. Really appreciate and hoping for ur help.

A:Query Access 2007 (how to transfer data from a query to another query)

The first query needs the following first Criteria Row of the InvoiceDueDate
between date() and date() + 5
The second query needs
< date()

I haven't tested it, just worked from memory. so let me know how it goes.
