Hi guys, First of all I want to say hello to the forum members and admins. I have a problem with my U330p bluetooth device. It's working, no issues with that. Just the problem is that the device signal is very very weak. I've bluetooth speaker like 2,5m away from my laptop (which btw works perfectly fine with iPhone even from the distance much bigger than those 2,5m) and I cannot really listen to spotify or other music. Sound is breaking all the time. It's having lags like hell. I was trying to update the driver but system (WIN 8.1 Pro) is showing me that I've currently the newest one. What can I do with that? Is there any chance to fix it? Brgds!Read other answers
I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system
It's worked out well for many of us in the past.
You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

I got win 10 , power mode is at maximum , but the signal on laptop is worse then on my 5 years old toshiba satelite.I was able to connect on the public wifi network from my apartment ( and still can with LG g3 mobile phone and with toshiba, even my flat-mate ancient HP is catching it in the further room ) but Y700 barely catches the glimps of signal .I was thinking that it will for sure have better signal than my 5years old toshiba, especially since it's lenovo , a brand that is used for business and for that it should have excelent connectivity but it turns out it's a piece of **bleep** .So i decided to register and post this in hope you could present me your experiences so i could find out why am I experiencing this poor signal acquiring and is there a way to improve it .Is it because of the metal case that is built around , faulty card or it's just a piece of crap ?Is there an option to boost the signal , add internal antena , or whatever ? Hey all!I bought a Lenovo Ideapad Y700 15ISK Laptop (touch version) exactly a month ago through a seller, since I live in Pakistan & as far I know Lenovo doesn't officially function here. Other details: Windows 10; core i7; 16gb; 512gb memory. About a week ago i clicked on the wrong link and got a terrible virus because of which i had to reformat my hard drive by reloading my Windows 10 (through that full/all disk reset option). What that resulted in was a simple windows 10 (without the preloaded software which I kinda want back), and a heck of a lot of problems. Firstly, is there any way to get back that preloaded software? I've tried searching everywhere but can't really find it; found the nvidia and reltek stuff but that's it. Secondly, the black screen of death; this was something that happened to me the very first time i opened the laptop, and the second time after i reloaded it. It hasn't happened since, but was wondering if there's a way to fix without physically doing anything to the laptop. Thirdly, ever since I've reloaded windows, the on-screen indicators for caps lock and num lock do not show up, and I really want those because i'm still adjusting to this keyboard. Hi, I got my new Lenovo Ideapad y510p for a month ago, and three weeks after it started acting wierd by having a slow startup and sometimes it just had black screen when it was starting up. Sometimes I have to hold down the power and try several times to turn on the computer. When it do start up, at the begining (after the lenovo logo) it makes some black screen switching (not sure if it correct way to describe it), and then it take ages for it to get on the login screen, and get on desktop, its like it doesn't have an SDD. Any help?

Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
I?m sorry to hear that your Y510p laptop is not working as expected and takes long time to boot into Windows, below are the steps to check and resolve the issue in the computer:
Remove the battery and any other peripheral device connected to the computer.
Hold the power button for 10-15 seconds and then connect only the AC Adapter and try to turn ON the computer.
If the issue persists even after performing Flee Power then resetting BIOS to its defaults should resolve the issue
To access the BIOS menu click the NOVO button which at the left-hand side of the computer next to AC power adapter jack.
Then to reset the BIOS to its defaults click on ?F9? Key and select YES.
Now Click on ?F10? Key to safe the changes that are done in BIOS, restart the computer and check if the issue is resolved.
Hope this helps!!!

So I'm currently in the process of trying to order myself a new AC Adapter for my Lenovo Ideapad, but my issue is finding the correct AC Adapter for my computer. I've spent three or four hours trying to find the correct one, yet the one Lenovo list on their website with the Ideapad 700 series (http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/itemdetails/888015027/460/B5F03F2D7A74472998C11037ACE71BFB?sb=:000001CC... has the incorrect part number. The part number on my AC Adapter is 5A10J46690, the one Lenovo lists to buy is 888015027, what I need to know (Which I can't figure out) is whether or not this is the same AC Adapter as the one I have currently, which does not work. Seeing as I can't find a single adapter matching the part number of my current one. To clarify slightly, my laptop is the Ideapad 700-15ISK Type 80RU00APUS. Apologies if I picked the wrong category for this, I'm new to the forums and majorly need the help.Read other answers
Alright, so early I tried to overclock my Nvidia GTX 660m Card, and it worked. the base clock speed is 835mhz, and the memory is 2500mhz. I OC'd the clock speed to 970mhz, and the memory to 3000mhz. It all worked fine, and boosted my gaming framerate quite a bit in PlanetSide 2 and Skyrim. ( I used NvidiaInspector to overclock, btw.) I went back to the overclocking interface, and accidentally set the memory rate to around +1300mhz. I then, without realizing, clicked on set OC settings, and it crashed my card. It rebooted, but now whenever I go into Nvidia Inspector to check my clock/mem speed, they're both set on 405mhz while idle or if there's a high load on my card. It's been stuck like this for a few hours, and I've tried several tweaks to fix it, including a reboot, rolling back the drivers, and then reinstalling the drivers, etc., with no resolve. I really need some help, as this is affecting my gaming horribly, and I'm getting terrible framerates. Please give suggestions/fixes as quickly as possible!
Hello all, I recently bought my Lenovo Ideapad 500s and I am experiencing wifi problems. The wifi would frequently disconnect and say that my network is limited. I have a lenovo ideapad y510p and everything was fine until for I thought I'd do the battery reset in the lenovo energy management,at first the battery was dead and laptop wouldnt turn on,,I found one way around this which is that first I take the battery out and then insert the ac adapter, the laptop turns on then I put it in hibernate while I insert battery after which it seems to charge but only after I do these steps, but if I take the adapter out and insert it back in,it would stop charging.this is all because of the lenovo energy management software battery reset.I've uninstalled it but it doesnt work.any suggestions?I'm guessing one of the steps after full charge during the battery reset the battery gets drained where it says "plugged in and not charging" until it reaches zero is the problem.

So everything has been working fine on my laptop until about 10:30PM EST tonight. I bought it new in August 2011.
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium
CPU: Intel Core i7-2630QM @ 2.00 GHz
RAM: 8 GB
HD: 750 GB
It's always been a fine machine with NO problems.
However, last night there were Windows 7 updates that were installed and then restarted my computer. I had not gotten a chance to check exactly what they were though. About 10:30 this evening, flash crashed in Mozilla Firefox which is not that uncommon, and from there Firefox closed, and so did my Microsoft Word and Excel apps that were open. From there, my computer began to shut down and restart. When it went to restart, all it could do was go to the opening Lenovo screen which gives you the F2 (setup option) and F12 (multiboot menu option) as it typically does. Besides a thin strip at the top that appeared after about 30 secs that only displays moving static that eventually will just stick, that is where the boot process ends. No Windows 7 screen, and certainly no opportunity to boot into safe mode to check for any problems. The screen freezes and goes nowhere.
So basically, all I'm getting in terms of boot options are lenovo features, not windows 7 features, meaning it won't boot into windows 7 or windows 7 safe mode no matter what I try. The biggest problem here is that I have no windows 7 disc to even try to boot from my dvd drive.
Anybody have any suggestions on what the probl... Read more
Are you able to get into the advanced boot menu by tapping F8? It might not be listed on the startup screen but it should still be there.

I recently bought the Ideapad 100 and as the audio is so terrible and I love music, I want to pair my bluetooth speaker to it. However I can't locate bluetooth on the machine. I didn't think they made machines without bluetooth nowadays!

Hello and welcome,
Bluetooth is listed as optional in the base specification although all the (North American) models I see have Bluetooth.
What's your MT-M (something like 80MH000XUS as a US example)? That should let us verify that yours has BT.

Hello, My 1,5 year old U330p is having trouble booting. It will not complete the POST. No beep code is heard and the screen is black (if i point a flashlight at the screen I can see the screen flashing repeatedly with short intervals). Charger and battery seems fine, and the computer seems to run until i have to force a shutdown.I have searched the web and this forum for quite some time and have not found a solution. I have tried:- Disconnecting the CMOS-battery for about 30 mins- Disconnecting the battery and performed various, power key combinations (hold for 30 sec, push repeatedly 10 times and then holding, hold for 20 sec two times in a row).- Replaced the RAM- Connecting to an external monitor Weird thing is that I have gotten it to boot twice after this occurred, after repeated reboots. It would then stay on until it ran out of power or was rebooted, and then the same issue occurred when trying to boot. Currently I have not succeeded to boot it again for quite some time.I fear the motherboard or GPU has malfunctioned, but since I greatly need it for studying, I don't want to send it in for repair unless absolutely necessary. Any tips will be greatly appreciated.Read other answers

Hi,I am almost 90% interesed to buy a new Lenovo ideapad S210 20256, that comes with an Intel Celeron 1037U 1,8GHz, 2GB of RAM, 500GB HDD, 11inch screen. Mfg Date: 2014/03/24.I found an online manual (PDF), and based on that I assume I can upgrade the RAM to 8GB at MAX. Now my actual main concern is the GPU. I heard that the laptop comes with an Intel HD Graphics but found here at notebookcheck.net that the intel HD Graphics 2500 is also called Intel HD Graphics. Now I am a bit confused. At the Intel website it is said to be the Intel« HD Graphics. So I would like if someone can confirm to me what is the GPU used? I appreciate any help.

The Intel HD Graphics is built in to the processor, so depending on the processor, it could be called Intel HD Graphics, or Intel HD Graphics 4000 grapdepending on which CPU your system comes with. The Lower grade Celeron CPU having a lower grade Intel HD Graphics card and the I3 a bit better Intel HD Graphics 4000 as shown in the spec sheets. The Celeron equipped S210 with the Intel HD Graphics will perform a bit slower than the Core i3 equipped S210 model with the Intel HD Graphics 4000, but both should work well for casual computing and Internet browsing. Neither 2-core CPUs or graphics card is great for power hungry video games, so if you are a gamer I would look for a different system altogether with a quad core CPU etc. Lenovo S210 Touch Laptophttp://shop.lenovo.com/ae/en/laptops/lenovo/s-series/s210-touch/#tab-tech_specs Lenovo S210 Touch CPU/graphics specificatoins Intel« Celeron« Processor 1037U (2M Cache, 1.80 GHz)http://ark.intel.com/products/71995/Intel-Celeron-Processor-1037U-2M-Cache-1_80-GHz Intel« Core? i3-3227U Processor (3M Cache, 1.90 GHz)http://ark.intel.com/products/72057/Intel-Core-i3-3227U-Processor-3M-Cache-1_90-GHz Hope that helpsRead other 2 answers

Hi, I bought a Lenovo Ideapad 300 a few months ago and its been freezing a lot, at first it was once in awhile, every few days and I didn't really notice it all. However it has now started to freeze multiple times a day and I don't understand why. I could be watching a video on YouTube or facebooking friends or on a call on Discord and bang it will freeze, no logic or reason to what I'm doing which would casue it to freeze but it does freeze. I read someone suggest that Microsoft Edge could be causing the probelm but I don't use Edge, I use chrome for all my major browsing. When it freezes I have to hard reset my laptop which constantly doing that isn't great. Could anyone provide any possible insight or help?Read other answers
