I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Hi everyone. I am in the process of deploying a new sccm environment with W10, we have a bunch of different Lenovo clients but this model is the only one that is causing me issues. The problem is the Lenovo Application Interface driver wich refuses to work, the key here is that we are using Microsoft Baseline Security, wich denies drivers that are not WHQL signed to be used. I have tried both the 1.0.0.8 and 1.0.0.9 driver for the Application Interface, but both returns Code 39 and does not work. If i deactivate MS Baseline Security both drivers work, but i don't have that option on the environment. I have tried importing them in SCCM and run the extracted exe as a package, with no result. In short, does a WHQL driver exist for this interface?

I've had my laptop for less than 2 months, but recently I got stuck in an auto-repair loop (possibly a virus), so I took my laptop to my university's tech center. Once there they wiped my laptop clean and installed a fresh install of Windows 10. A couple of my drivers got deleted like my mouse and wifi drivers, but they re-installed them there as well. Everything was fine just a little slow, I re-installed all my apps/games back. I never really checked for Windows 10 updates until a couple days ago because I randomly got this error when trying to play my games. It would say something like this: "ERROR: your video card does not support alpha blending with floating point render targets (D3DFMT_A16B16G16R16F)". I have a GTX 1050 ti, so I was really confused. I looked up how to fix it on other forums and even Reddit. Apparently, this happens when your laptop tries using the GPU built into the motherboard instead of the actual graphics card. Many suggested uninstalling the current GPU drivers and re-installing them. So that's exactly what I tried, but now whenever I try to express install the newest driver on Geforce Experience; it says "The Standard NVIDIA graphics driver is not compatible with this version of Windows. Please update your driver using...(website)". The website it gives is not even available, so I look up and manually try to download/install the driver myself, but it gives me the same message it did on Geforce Experience. So I finally decide to update Win... Read more

Good day all I have installed Windows 10 Pro 64-bit on an old Lenovo G550. It used to work well on Windows 7, but now I cannot install or update the display drivers in order to connect an external display (LG 49" TV) at 1920 x 1080. Windows installed its own useless drivers that obtains at least 1366 x 768 on both the laptop and the TV when displays are duplicated. Then the highest I can go is 1366 x 768. When I select "Show only on 2" (which is essentially what I want to do), it goes down to an even worse display resolution, but this also disables the Resolution drop-down.  I have downloaded every version of drivers know to God and man from Lenovo's and other sites, but all of them tells me: "This computer does not meet the minimum requirement for installing software." I have deleted the driver and reinstalled via "Scan for hardward changes" as well. I have done a Windows update as well. I have no idea what to do next. How do I fix this stupid problem? Please help me. Thank you in advance.Kind regardsRenier

Hello all I've just got myself a M93p tiny desktop and it's a great machine apart from one problem... In gaming (light gaming, OpenGL DOOM 2 and Unreal Tournament at 1080p) the machine is suffering from thermal throttling. I've applied Thermal Grizzly thermal paste (said to be the best thermal paste you can buy) to the CPU but still it throttles itself causing a massive drop in frame rates. I also notice it drops performance a lot in Handbrake video encoding where the encode rate goes from 60fps to around 27fps. My CPU is the quad core i5 I5-4570T. I know this machine has a pretty small cooler but even with the best thermal performance setting selected in the BIOS it still does it and the fan doesn't seem to speed up to help the thermals. It just stays quiet which is great but I expected it to speed up under load and cool the machine instead of thermal throttling first. I've also tried to disable the ICE thermal alert setting in the BIOS. Do any of the newer BIOS releases address this issue or help in anyway as I'm 99% sure I'm using an old BIOS revision. Are there any solutions to this issue as it makes the quad core CPU rather pointless as it just throttles itself and performs half as well as it should whenever you do something taxing.  Any advice or help greatly appreciated.

Hi we use with great pleasure the Lenovo m93p as server in a our environment. They would like a charm. recently we faced a situtation and e wanted the servers to turn on at a specific time.  We went into BIOS and set the time to turn on the PVC.  We expected that the PC could be turned on manually. It will not turn on at all.  We took off the CMOS battery to see if it would reset the BIOS settings: Nothing ! The the PC will not turn on... Also no Lenovo screen , nothing  We must also say that we increased the video memory to 1024 MB AND set up the start time. These settings were saved since then the PC would not turn on.... Would appreciate anything that could help in having the pC turn on or resetting the BIOS to default ... Thanks in advance We need to perform somthing alittle more complex .. Will ask after solving this pesky problem Zeprez

A:Lenovo Thinkcentre m93p Tiny won't turn on

I had exactly this problem. After replacing the hard drive, the M93p Tiny would not power on when the power button was pressed. No LED came on and the fan did not spin up. I tried all sorts of things but nothing worked. Finally I took out the CMOS battery for a while and then put it back in again. That did the trick and the computer started. Strangely enough, the BIOS was NOT reset, my custom settings and BIOS password were preserved (!). The computer now works normally again... Jiri.

Hi good people,

So, I'm on here like thousands of others with intermittent wifi issues. I upgraded from 8.1 to 10 yesterday and everything works very well except for losing my wifi connection every 30 minutes to an hour.

My wireless adapter is a Broadcom 802.11n
the driver I'm using is Broadcom version 6.30.223.256

I've updated the drivers and the same loss of wifi happens. I've rolled back the drivers and the same loss of wifi happens. I've even tried a driver directly from the lenovo site that is a Cybertan Liteon driver that is the latest version for windows 8.1.

I've also unchecked the box in the power management page. Then rebooted.

I've also used all the commands, in the command prompt admin that start with 'netsh'. Then rebooted. The same thing still happens.

So, I'm up for new suggestions including compatible drivers from different manufacturers.

I'm really hoping there's a Z585 user on here that has solved this issue. According to the Lenovo web site this particular laptop has the latest drivers on the site and none of them are working so far.

A:Lenovo Z585 losing wifi after driver update, driver rollbacks, 'fixes'

First, is your laptop supported for windows 10 on lenovo website.....meaning are there drivers and software packages for it? Have you tried downloading the 8.1 driver for it and then running it in compatibility mode?

Hello all, I have recently received an M93P Tiny from a friend which was to be thrown out simply due to his company upgrading their PC's. It worked at first, however, the fan was going super sonic speeds, which was causing the computer to BSoD in Windows 10 which I had installed on an SSD. I read somewhere that the first models of this computer had that problem, however, I figured the problem might be the CPU probably just needed some thermal paste. I figured before I do that, I should do an update, hoping it wouldn't fail... It BSoD'd right in the middle of the bios update. Something told me I should have just done it in the BIOS rather than Windows, but I did anyway and it failed. Now I can't start the computer at all. Well, it starts, and it turns off right before getting to the bios, so I can't do anything in post at all, it will always reset right before I get to the screen and loop. I changed the jumpers around many times, cleared CMOS, removed battery ETC. No go. I heard there was a recovery method using a disk, but I do not have access to a disc drive, as this is a tiny PC. I have the bios on a flash drive, but obviously since I can't get to any menus, I can't choose where to boot from. Can anyone lend some assistance? I know it can't be dead, it stays on if I switch the jumper to one of the other two positions, but I get no post from them. In fact, it's strange because originally, if looking at the motherboard from the front, it seemed t... I currently have this problem in regard to the Bluetooth in my Lenovo P70.  There is already a forum topic on this issue at https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/foruams/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/tp07_en/page/1/thread-id/71644.  If you want to respond to that particular problem (It is still unresolved) please do so there.  The pupose of this topic is the more general question of what do you do when a Lenovo-supplied driver update is faulty, especially when you are out of warranty.  (That question has not been answered in the other topic.) Bluetooth was not working on my computer when I went to use it.  The obvious thing to do was to get the latest driver, which I did.  It is n1dww15w.exe.  The driver did not work right in at least 2 ways. 1. It left the Bluetooth items in Device Manager grayed out and marked as: Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer. 2. In the downloaded instructions it said there would be an item Intel(R) PROset/Wireless Software for Bluetooth(R) Technology under Programs & Features.  (This is now called App & Features and is where you uninstall and repair installed programs.)  There was not. This is what I call corrupted. In attempting to resolve this problem other than by installing the OEM drivers, I have installed other drivers from Intel and also from Broadcom (for a US... Hello, As the title says, I have problems with the ATI driver. I have a Lenovo G510, with both an Intel HD 4600 and an ATI Radeon R5 M230. I just reinstalled windows 10 home edition. I'm trying to install it but the installer froze when installing the actual driver and after I force shutdown and try to restart the laptop, the booting stops/blocks. Can anyone help?

By reading about spectre(in this case) and Meltdown exploits i demand month by month the problem... but now after the extra heavy update of win 10, the problem just to say so simplifing are upgrade bios and amd driver:bios updgrade isn't impossible my battery overnow is exausted and so the software failed and close, so i remain in the first version..i don't know how upgrade in other way and then if it is enough to safe the bios from this problem(obviously before another one come to the public attention).AMD CPU(or better APU): amd a8-4500m + hd 7640g;and GPU : amd hd8500m o r5 m200;cause me the increscious problem that when i try to update the crimson sw and their driver after a specific version cause problem on the system and so i must fallback to the old version. The second way to update the driver with sw like D Booster or S Driver or similar they do a great job but update only the system driver without the Crimson or the Catalist management of the AMD graphic system...My product is out of warranty and it is otherwise a problem out of a technical shop...Please reply to this post, write your little solutions or suggestion.THanks everyone

Hello everyone,

yesterday, 9.4.2016, windows update installed update with this name "Lenovo Ltd. driver update for Lenovo System Firmaware V 001". The problem is, that after that, my keyboard started to "stuck" at Mechwarrior game (do not even have to be in game, login screen is enough and if I alt+tab, it is stucking in windows too). Every half a second there is slight pause, whene the pressed key is stucked for a few moments and if no key is pressed, than you cannot press key for a few moments. It is quite annoying. I updated keyboard drivers but to no help. I wanted to uninstall that Lenovo update, but there is not an option to do so, unlikely other windows updates.

My question is following, anyone knows, what that update was about? What firmware was updated? In device manager system firmware version is still unchanged for half a year. And I was unable to find anything about it over the internet. Also, since I have no idea what was updated, I cannot revert to older version.

Thanks in advance to everyone.

I dont usually make updates, but when i do...I opened the Lenovo Companion and went for the drivers updates. There was 3 updates: WLAN (I think), Bluetooth, and a BIOS (4WCN29WW) update. I installed the lenovo programs needed to download the updates, as the Lenovo Companion recommended, and started updating the drives. After several minutes into the update I got the message that the ISD driver must be uninstalled! Why it couldn't tell me that before when checking my system for the update is a MS glitch I think. I stopped the update.

This driver is for the touch screen in tablet mode I think so will that facility not work in Win 10 or will there be a Win 10 ISD driver?

I cannot find out from the Lenovo support sites but from Googling 'Win 10 update for ISD driver' I got the Lenovo page link http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds041384 which I don't understand.

Can anyone please enlighten me on this matter - thanks.

A:Win 10 update problem for Lenovo X201 Tablet (ISD driver)

It relates to WinTab which is for pen pressure - nothing about ISD driver - this is my non understanding.

Hello! In 2013 I bought Lenovo C340 All-in-One with Windows 8 activated, CPU Intel Celeron. Because Win 8 was very buggy I upgraded to Win 8.1 in January 2014. After the upgrade everything was fine only the CPU usage started to be very high during browsing images-heavy sites and sites with Flash Player/animations/streaming videos and during downloading. I tried to update graphic card driver but the system said I have the latest one I need. Probably it was customized from Lenovo for this specific machine and Win 8? This June I upgraded to Win 10 hoping the high CPU usage will be resolved. But no, it is even worse because now few times PC blocked from the high CPU and should be restarted. I changed anti-vir from AVG Free to Avira Free but this was very small help. I had this question posted in Microsoft Answers, Adobe Help Forums, Ten Forums etc. I was advised to ask my manufacturer too as being unable to update the driver might be because manufacturer's changes. I suppose updating graphic driver would resolve the high CPU usage as CPU usage was alright in the original Win 8. I'm desperated as I'm online almost 24/7. I don't play online games but use some online art/drawing tools with Flash Player and also I browse many images and having my CPU frying is terrible. Thank you in advance!

Hi! The Thinkpad X1 Yoga 2017/2:nd edition has an OLED panel option. Lenovo's download page for this model, https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/hk/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-... , offers a driver "Intel "OLED Panel Driver for Windows 10 (64-bit) - ThinkPad X1 Yoga (Type: 20JD, 20JE, 20JF, 20JG)", 1.0.0.5, 2017/10/02, in the Display and Video Graphics section. In Windows, the device appears as "Intel(R) OLED Panel Driver" under "System devices" in the Windows Device Manager. Normally I'd think all needed to drive a display is the graphics driver (e.g. "Intel(R) HD Graphics 620" under "Display adapters") and a monitor file for resolution, frequency and color calibration ("OLED Display 2560x1440" under "Monitors"). So, why do we need an "Intel(R) OLED Panel Driver", and what does this device actually do?

Hi. We have not seen any updates to this package since september, so i hope Lenovo could release a new sccm driver package, as a lot of drivers have been released since then, that fixes some annoying issues.

Hi. Since i can't post in the enterprise solutions forum, i'll post my request here.Yoga 460 has not been out for more than a few months, and in that time, pretty much all drivers have been updated, as is normal for a new model. What annoys me is that i have to run system update on all new laptop installed by SCCM, since there has not been a new SCCM package released since the original one, that fixes several important issues. Therefore, i request that Lenovo releases a new SCCM package with all the latest updates. Thanks!
