Will the Lenovo GX20P92530 USB-C 65W A/C adapter work with the Lenovo ThinkPad L380 Yoga?

Q: Will the Lenovo GX20P92530 USB-C 65W A/C adapter work with the Lenovo ThinkPad L380 Yoga?

Bought the latter and considering the former as a second A/C adapter. Does anyone know if it would work? I expect it to, but just looking before I leap.

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

I recently bought a Lenovo Thinkpad Yoga 260 with Windows 10 Pro 64 bits. I instaled Intel Wireless Display Software to see the desktop on a TV. The software works with the Samsung TV I have where I work, but it does work with the Samsung TV I have at home. The Samsung TV model I have is the UE55F6400. When I tried to connect, the connection works for a while, but after a time I receive the message "Video Data not compatible" ("Datos de Vídeo no compatibles" in Spanish). Of course I instaled the newest drivers for the notebook and the last firmware of the TV. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have a Lenovo Yoga 72015IKB and it crashes without the power adapter. It´s a new problem, it worked without adapter before and nothing happened to the Ideapad. The battery says its fully loaded (100%).But removing the adapter, the little orange light next to the power adapter slot blinks as if there´s very low battery. Furthermore the Battery test with lenovo vantage says there´s no problem with the battery. I can´t update the new BIOS either because it says it needs battery to do it (with power adapter of course but somehow it won´t to the update).Does anybody have an idea what to do to fix the problem?  Thanks for your ideas!

I recently bought Lenovo Thinkpad L380 and I see that display is very dull though it supports anti-glare. I keep it to the maximum brightness but still, I see that the display is not bright enough (No Power mode is ON). I tried changing the brightness values using the Intel Graphic Display settings but it doesn't seem working out well as it just enhances the overall brightness and the screen looks weird. Has anyone faced this kind of behavior?

So I am not sure if I am the only one experience this issue or not but L380 Yoga has been extremely slow lately seems like web pages take forever to want to respond, applications just do not want to start up. I have done a reset and wiped the harddrive so it was like it was out of the box, it seems to work good for a little bit then I start to experience the same issues over and over again.

I don't want to send my computer to the depot back AGAIN, as it took around 1 month last time, and I spent so many hours on the customer service line, trying to find out the status, and waiting for parts.Im not very sure what this is, but I don't think this is supposed to happen, and if anyone could help out, that would be appreciated. The image of the peeling is below.

I have a Lenovo Yoga 900. A while back, my younger brother threw my computer and cracked the screen, so I disable to touch display adapter in device manager so the screen would stop flipping out. In addition to the screen breaking, I have had a lot of problems with the display adapter since. Currently, I have the Intel Iris Graphics 540 display adapter installed but disabled (its the one the system wants me to have) and have Microsoft Basic Display Adapter being used. Whenever I enable the Intel Iris Graphics display adapter, the screen stops working and will go black (the computer is still running and everything else works, like I can plug an external display in and it will work with the Intel display adapter enabled). I have updated and reinstalled the display adapter multiple times (through windows update, Lenovos website, and Intel's website too) but it still has the same problem regardless. My computer works when using the microsoft display adapter, except nothing works as well as it used to. For example with the microsoft basic display adapter, I am unable to change the screen brightness from full brightness (I have tried fixing this multiple times to no avail), the computer can't detect an external display, and the frame rate is awful. For videos it will do okay, but any sort of game is so bad that you are unable to play it. I have spent a lot of time already trying to fix this but have no clue how to, any suggestions would be great, thanks!

I recently bought a Lenovo ThinkPad L380 directly from Lenovo. Is a solid laptop with great specs and battery life, however the trackpad starts skipping, feels unresponsive and jitters. This happens consistently and on every time I use the laptop from more than 5-10 minutes.I've tried all of the following with no solution:1. Reinstalling drivers from Lenovo site2. Changing charger cable (this was recorded actually in battery power, so happens both connected and not connected to power)3. Disconnecting the battery and reconnecting it again.4. Powering off the laptop, holding the power button for 60 seconds then powering it back again.5. Changing the settings for sensitivity6. Disabling the track-pointI was wondering what would cause that and if I should just return the laptop and get another one with a non-defective trackpad.

Hi!I bought last week a Lenovo L380 Yoga. When i received it first thing I entered BIOS Setup, and it was fine, it was asking me for password but it worked with just an Enter. In the meantime I setup fingerprint and password in Windows... After that I tried to enter in BIOS but i can't, because it prompts me to enter password, and it doesn't work anymore with just pressing enter. I tried with the password I set in Windows, but wouldn't work as well.I then deactivated any windows password or fingerprint, but i still can't access BIOS. I found other peoples with similar problem, so I'm not the only one. Just to make it clear, there is no way I could set up a bios password by mistake, and nobody else touched the laptop, so this is not a possibility. Any ideea why this happened to me, as well as to other people? What are my options now?  Laptop is still in warranty until  2022 I think... Thank you!

If you didn't set the password, the person you bought it from did.  The password cannot set itself.  Return it.

As stated in the title my Trackpoint is causing my cursor to drift to the right side of the screen. It only does this whenever I physically pick up the laptop or bend the right corner of the palmrest. I've tried to rule out any software related issues by updating the OS to the latest Windows Build, updating BIOS to 1.13, drivers for UltraNav. Once I realized none of this worked I rolled the BIOS back to 1.12 and restored the unit but it is still happening. If I turn off the Trackpoint in Control Panel -> Mouse the issue stops. I do not remember this happening when I first opened it. Any idea as to what is causing it? Thanks!

I have a new Lenovo Thinkpad L380 (Windows 10 Pro), that is less than a month old. Recently however, the fingerprint sensor has stopped functioning. I had already registered my fingerprint and it doesn't seem to work to unlock the laptop anymore. Trying to reregister my fingerprint in the settings opens up the registration screen ("Touch the fingerprint sensor"), then proceeds to ("Great, touch finger again") and then simply stays there. I have tried to clean the sensor as well as update the drivers (from the device manager) and it hasn't helped. I don't believe it to be a hardware issue as the laptop is new. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,Vivek

Since you have to hunt around different Lenovo sites (and other sites) to find out about these softwares, I decided to make a post to get feedback from actual Yoga owners on how these programs interact, what they do, which ones are prerequisite, and which ones are unnecessary. Please don't take this as a blanket answer. This is just what I have found. It might be right - it might be wrong. I'm looking for others to post their experiences as well. Lenovo System Interface Foundation Driver - Necessary prerequisite (missing driver in device manager without it). It allows the Lenovo Utility and Lenovo Companion to work. Lenovo Yoga Mode Control - Necessary if you want to use your yoga to seemlessly change between all the different modes (laptop, tablet, tent, stand). This software is responsible for autorotating and putting Windows into tablet mode. Lenovo Utility - Recommended(?) This one I'm not too sure on. I remember that I was missing some function that I wanted but I can't remember what it was now. Maybe battery cycle count and health? Lenovo Companion - I don't have this one installed and don't think it's necessary but would like someone else to shed some light here.

I have an L380 Yoga configured as described here. Over the past few months it has been producing a large number of reverse DNS lookups (in-addr.arpa) relative to my other machines. I couldn't really figure out what the culprit was until this week when the problem apparently went away. This morning I installed this Lenovo Power Management Driver update. Since that installation and reboot, the excessive reverse DNS lookups have returned. It seems to me therefore that this issue is caused by the Power Management Driver. Can this be fixed? Any ideas?

I posted a similar question earlier and people referred me to the Yoga (much appreciated).  However, I was interested in the 2.6 lb carbon version with touch screen capabilities.  Asus has a Spin 7 model that is very good at 2.65lb, but I miss the red mouse toggle in the middle of the keyboard and Asus's track pad was designed too large....causing unintended tapping.  The Yoga, while nice, is heavier than I was looking for.  The 14 inch screen is about 3.3lb? the 12 inch at 3? I thought that some of the earlier Thinkpad Carbons had touch screen and was hoping they would make a return soon.  Thanks,

I hope someone can help me.  I am having an issue with connecting my Lenovo ThinkPad X380 Yoga to a USB-C Dock.  I have installed all of the drivers and enabled Thunderbold 3 within BIOS, however only the USB, LAN connections work when I plug the dock into the Laptop.  The two displays that are plugged into the dock via Display Port do not work and the laptop seems not able to detect the displays.  Things I have tried: Plugged in only one monitor using both VGA and DP but still nothing.Uninstalled and reinstralled the drivers.Ran the Lenovo support tool to make sure all drivers on the laptop are up to date.Power cycled both the laptop and dock. As I said the USB devices plugged into the dock seem to work fine as does the LAN.  I have tried to update the firmware on the dock however I keep getting the following message: ThinkPad USB-C DP Hub version can't be checked! Please power cycle the Dock to try again. I have powercycled but still have the same message.  I am all out of ideas as to why the displays do not work.   Any ideas?

However, Both of the pen's buttons do nothing and I can neither use it to select text nor to draw lines in graphics software such as Krita. It is also not registered by gnome's settings no matter how much I move the pen around, resulting in a picture that looks like this:As much as I love Linux, not being able to take handwritten lecture notes is kind of a big dealbreaker for me right now... Do any of you have experience with Yogas and their pen support for Linux systems? Even if you were using Wi-Fi for the download it's probably just coincidence that something happened to the adapter immediately after the download completed. Do I have that right--that the download did complete?

Since you just downloaded Windows 7--I hope a genuine, not pirated, version--why are you trying to troubleshoot the adapter problem now instead of after a re-install of the OS?

That SSD is used as a cache for the main drive.  You need to install express cache software.  Don't know if running the cleanup utility is required, but linked below.
