Realtek HD audio driver buzzing on windows 7 64

Q: Realtek HD audio driver buzzing on windows 7 64

Today i have installed windows 7 on 64 bits and i just cannot get past this problem with the sound. I have a 5.1 surround audio system and have installed the latest Realtek HD audio driver on my pc to get all the speakers going.

After the installation of the driver every sound came with buzzing. The music, the clicking on folders, games, anything, every sound was buzzing, just like the static you get on radio, a blurred sound, if i may call it that way. This was the first thing to install on my PC after the Opera browser. I only have the standard High Definition Audio Driver from the windows, no other audio driver, so i don't think that anything can interfere with the Realtek driver. Can this be because it's 64 bits?

Can anyone help please? I've seen this problem on the net but there was no exact answer. Why is Realtek software acting this way? I tried reinstalling or tried older versions, nothing helped. :??:
Can anyone give any piece of advice?

I recommend downloading and running DAP. It can help sort out any driver and firmware related issues on your system

It's worked out well for many of us in the past.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloaddap.org. (This link will open the download page of DAP so you can save a copy to your computer.)

Welcome to the Windows 7 forum.

If you have RealTek, you should not also have the "High Definition Audio Codec" which is the Windows installed generic sound driver. Normally, when you install the proper sound driver, such as RealTek, the High Definition Audio Codec, driver is automatically deleted.

Please fill in the "My System Specs". It helps us to help you.

Also, please post a screenshot of the Device Manager, Sound section.

Hello forum!

I have been struggling with this buzzing for such a long time and at this point I think I've tried nearly everything.

When plugged my two cables into the rear end of my PC (The pink and the green), it has imense amount of buzzing. A minor fix for this was: install Realtek Audio Device Manager, and put the output stick from green to the blue. This fixed the issue from constant buzzing, but now, when I play games, any game at all, there is a buzzing matching when I play (Probably synchronized with the FPS).

I tried using my front sticks, which fixed the sound issue for a small amount of time, untill the stick stopped working completely(I also would like very much, if my back sticks actually would work properly). The audio cable to the motherboard(the one in the lower left cornor of the board), was plugged in the AC '97. I tried changing that to HD Audio. Same problem. In the end I even tried disconnecting the cable completely, since it apparently just was the connection from the front sticks, and the might have an effect on audio if unused.

Of course, I also tried reinstalling drivers. (Currently AMD High Definition Audio Device and High Definition Audio Device are installed).

None of this worked. I really need a permanent fix on this. Nearly every part of the computer is farely new (maximum 3-4 months old).

Nothing seem to work, please help

A:Realtek Audio Driver buzzing

The "buzzing" sounds like a "ground loop hum". What else do you have plugged into the computer? Also, is it properly grounded? Improper or no AC Power ground can cause that. Even a defective power cord from the power supply to the AC power receptacle. Even remotely, if the PC is powered into a power strip, the power strip could be defective.

The HD Audio connector should be used as it provides some jack sensing that the older AC97 does not have.

Hello, I hear a buzzing noise in my headhones when plugged into the headphone jack of my aspire 5760-6025. I can fix the issue by running the driver update executable file Vista_Win7_R249.exe However when i do this i can see no stereo mix channel under my recording devices on windows 7 64-bit. I need to see this option because I am a musician and I need to record the sound I hear on my computer, in order to capture the effects within the live recordings I do. I can do this if I update the driver with the Vista_Win7_R249 exported to program files folder named realtek then update the drivers through the device manager. However when I do this I get the buzzing noise again. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a headset with a mic and In the Audio Manager i've got the playback volume muted. When i un-mute it there is a faint buzzing noise. thats not a big problem but when i want to talk to friends on skype. I'm really quiet and they can hear the buzzing noise. When I try to use the Microphone Boost, the buzzing gets louder. Its a Deep Buzzing noise. I've done many things to try and fix this, messing around with it, going online to find a fix.

I know its not my headset or my mic causeing it; did a test with another headset.

If this problem has been solved already, please link - Thanks

A:Realtek HD Audio Manager, Buzzing noise in playback

Do you get the Buzz with speakers (only) too? If you hear it with the speakers, physically disconnect the speakers from the PC and then see if you hear it in the headphone - with the Headphone only connected, not the mic.

Do you have any other AC powered device (other than a monitor) connected to the PC?

It's been a year since I migrated from Windows XP to Windows 7 which I downloaded Realtek HD Audio Manager R2.70 and audio has been working fine except the only issue it didn't come with 'Stereo Mix' preventing capability to record sound direct from the soundcard. It took me 14 months to restore Stereo Mix as each time I was told to update audio drivers I would update HD Audio Manager so what is the difference between these two Realtek ?

I installed Realtek HD Audio Driver R2.72 last night and it restored Stereo Mix which now enables me to record system sound whilst using screen recorders.

Thanks

Realtek HD Audio Manager is a software driver used on Windows computers. It handles recording and playback of audio programs. It is required for many audio programs to operate.

While Realtek HD Audio Drivers is a tool that allows you to listen to audio in HD on your PC.

Stereo Mix is used to transfer audio that the PC is playing to recording software such as Audacity, so that you can record what you?re hearing.

When one upgrade their OS like in your case from XP to Win7 with the same motherboard and sound card it is always advised & recommended to download the latest soundcard driver, because the only thing that had changed was the operating system.

The advice is not to go to windows for it, but to go to the motherboard manufacturer, because it would be specialised for the system rather than ... Read more

I installed the Realtek HD audio driver from the ASUS download site (P8Z68-V Pro MB) and all was well until I installed an MSI 560TI video card and let it install the Nvidia HD Audio drivers. The problem I have been chasing ever since was the Realtek HD Audio Manager popping up after the system exited extended sleep state (overnight). After much trial and tribulation and several Google Searches I concluded that the Realtek/ASUS HD Audio driver was conflicting with the Nvidia driver(s).

I did what suggested on one of the sites and that was to delete the Realtek HD Audio drivers and just let W7 install the default Microsoft drivers. Problem gone! Now I am curious, what did I give up and if I install the latest Realtek driver for W7 64-bit (v267) from the Realtek site will the Nvidia conflict return?

A:ASUS/Realtek, Latest Realtek versus default W7 Audio driver

Generally the Microsoft installed HD Audio Codec does not have all the features the motherboard vendor's sound drivers do. In most cases the actual driver is preferred and should be installed instead of the generic HD Audio Code drivers.

The NVIDIA driver is for the Video and the build in audio for HDMI audio. It should not be interferring with the PC's sound and in this case Realtek. I would uninstall the Microsoft drivers and reinstall the RealTek and see if you still have the problem. Generally a driver causes problems when exiting from sleep mode. Actually on "extended" sleep mode of overnight its really better to just shut down the system and then reboot in the morning. If you want it to be operational when you wake up, the BIOS should have an option for auto power on at whatever time you set.

Recently I decided to go ahead and update to the Windows 8.1 version of the Realtek HD Audio Driver. I procrastinated because it told me I'd have to uninstall the original audio driver and I knew it would take a while to do everything needed. It didn't help that after uninstalling the original audio driver, then restarting like Windows told me to do, I kept getting error messages that forced my computer to restart until eventually my computer let me log in and install the updated audio driver.

However, with the updated version of this driver I had the same issue I got with the original one only much much worse. The original Realtek HD Audio Driver that I had on my computer made music and videos sound absolutely awful when headphones were plugged in. I found out that this is because the driver automatically puts on so-called "enhancements" whenever headphones are plugged in. This was a very simple fix, simply go to "Sound", then under "Playback" you click on "Speakers", then go to "Enhancements" and check the box labeled "Disable all sound effects." Then sound through headphones would return to normal.

Well, with the Window 8.1 version of this audio driver, I can do the same thing, but it never stays that way. Every time I plug in my headphones, it resets back to having enhancements. The strange thing though is that it says the enhancements are disabled but when I reactivate the enhancements(No difference in sound ... Read more

I thought that once Windows 10 would come about, the Realtek drivers would be updated to not only accomodate W10, but fix the problem that has been plauging HP's Beats Audio laptops for years: the sound leveling/fluctuation issue. I guess I was hoping for too much; the sound still  fluctuates when trying to "level out" the volume when internal speakers are plugged into the audio jack.  This makes audio--music, videos, movies, ect.--impossible to listen to.  The internal laptop speakers, however, still sound good with the two subwoofers.  This is the exact same issue that I was having in W8.1. I've rolled back to Microsoft's HD audio driver like last time.  Finally this driver was updated for W10 as well.  Now the laptop speakers are horrible as expected.  These steps were done to remedy the problem for me in W8.1.  I was also able to uninstall HP's audio driver, get rid of Beats Audio control panel, and replaced it with Realtek's own generic drivers in W8.1.  This allowed me to be able to have an equalizer to control the sound.  This driver also made the laptop speakers horrible, but I was able to take control of my external speaker sound, which is used 95% of the time.  I can't do this, however, in W10; it won't allow me to get rid of Beats Audio control panel no matter what.  This is and will continue to be an issue unless HP decides to supply an update to their Realtek ... A:Windows 10: New Beats Audio Realtek driver, Same Terrible S...

Well, since I haven't gotten a single reply from HP's mods, I actually found a way to stop Microsoft from automatically downloading the HP Beats Audio/Realtek audio driver to my W10 device. The KB update, KB3073930, is a standalone tool that allows hiding of pesky and arwy updates.  If you want to keep using the Microsof HD audio driver,  follow these instructions: 1.  Download the KB update tool here:  https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/30739302.  Uninstall the HP Beats Audio/Realtek audio driver and restart computer (it tells you to do so after uninstall)3.  After restart, open the tool and follow the steps.  It's pretty self-explanatory. Albeit a temporary solution, it's a breath of fresh air to not hear distorted, fluctiating, and compressed sound out of my external speakers when I play any media.  Now, If I can only use the generic Realtek drivers without it being overridden by Beats Audio's atrocious control panel...probably has something to do with the registry.  I, however, shouldn't have to go through these lengths to get clear, crisp sound out of my laptop.

I have 4 Dell PCs in my home network, an XPS8500, an XPS8700, an Inspiron 3647 Small Desktop, and an Inspiron 17 laptop. All were running Windows 8.1 (64) and were upgraded to Windows 10 (64). After the upgrade I started having audio problems with the XPS8700 and the Inspiron 3647. The included the audio increasing in level  every time I started an application that used audio (Hulu, Netflix) or a flash video on youtube until I turned it back down and all the Maxxaudio settings were missing in the Dell sound manager (or the Sound Manager wouldn't even load on reboot.I tried manually uninstalling the Realtek audio driver from Device Manager and reinstalling but that had no effect. After communicating with Tech support I downloaded the most current audio driver package for Windows 10 from the Dell support page for each PC and ran the appropriate one on each system. The package completely uninstalls the driver and reinstalls it and the Maxxaudio software. Now audio is working correctly on both systems and all the Maxxaudio functionality has returned, except EQ presets can only be accessed from the Speakers/Headphones control panel in the Windows' Sound Control Panel (which appears to be some kind of Windows 10 glitch (or "feature"), which hopefully Dell or Microsoft will be fixing in a future audio driver update.

A:Realtek audio driver and MaxxAudio after Windows 10 upgrade

As I mentioned, the Inspiron 17 and the XPS8500 both worked fine after upgrading them to Windows 10, but since you asked the XPS8500 I would have to assume is still running on the Windows 8.1 Audiomaxx install, I updated the Realtek driver on that PC via Microsoft.

I am unable to find a suitable driver for my computer. I have a Compaq Presario R3000AP 3.2 GHz 2.5GB Ram and have upgraded to windows 7 with SP1.

I did a clean install and all the windows 7 drivers were installed and are compatible except for the Realtek AC'97 audio driver.

I downloaded and installed the Realtek AC'97 Codecs from the Realtek website, but unfortunately this was unsuccessful . Then I downloaded and installed the SP29586 Realtek AC'97 Driver version 6.0.1.6305 from the HP website and this was also unsuccessful. Finally I downloaded from the Microsoft website the same Audio Driver version 6.0.1.6305 and installed it but unfortunately again this was unsuccessful.
In the Device manager under Sound, video and game controllers it show below "Realtek AC'97 Audio device", version 6.0.1.6305 but in properties is shows "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

Windows 7 does recognize the sound device, but is unable to completely install it, even though under the "driver file details tab" it show drivers installed in the windows directory.
I understand that Microsoft does not support the Realtek driver, but there must be some kind of fix or even someone out there that is able to rewrite the driver somehow. Seems a shame to have to get a new computer because of this, as it is very fast with windows 7 even though it is only a Pentium 4.

I have no more options and I am asking for help. PLEASE!

Hi my dell OptiPlex 3020MT updated automatically to Fall creators update yesterday everything is working fine expect for the soundcard. It sounds tiny and flat. I downloaded and tried to install official Windows 10 audio driver from dell support but it can't be installed as it is not compatible with latest windows 10 build. I have to rely on windows update and Maxx Volume Pro is not working with driver provided via windows update. MaxxVolume, MaxxLeveler and MaxxBass sounds flat when I try to adjust it manually. All drop down options is empty.. no preset equalizer is available in drop down menu and user defined equalizer does not make any audible sound difference when I try to manually sets it. Also under speaker setup; Speaker size (Small, Medium, Large) does not make any audible sound difference.. it just sounds tiny and flat.
Kindly provide a work around for this issue. At least a compatible audio driver for fall creators update.

Hello all, I just got Windows 8.1 Pro as a gift from a friend and installed it just a few hours ago, and I noticed that I am having audio problems.

Basically put, it's sort of random when this happens, but it seems to happen when sounds play rapidly, as letting a audio que play it's part will play with no popping nosies, here is an example of me showing this by using the sound that plays when you change audio:
Vocaroo | Voice message

The first 10 seconds are me playing the sound slow, with no popping. Then the sound starts popping when I change volume rapidly.

I also checked DPC Latency Checker and everything is running smoothly:
imgur: the simple image sharer

I have all the latest drivers installed, and this happens with with no drivers. I just can't seem to figure out what the issue is here.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I've tried disabling drivers, removing the USB Keyboard and Mouse, as well as setting the audio to CD Quality.

Thanks in Advance to the person who could help me with this.

Lots of reasons for popping and stuttering. Integrated card or PCI Slot Card?

HI EVERYONE can someone help me with realtek please, i download realtek 6.0.1 something from its website, my menu for REALTEK is not the same as it used to be on Vista----like changing sound room, and whole lotta other stuff can anyone please help where to get those?

A:Realtek audio driver

The new audio drivers aren't the same as the old ones. Sadly, you did lose quite a bit of customizability (and in my case, my microphone went from being loud and adjustable to really, really quiet).

I just installed a new hard driver in a HP 734g computer that had a bad drive. I've installed a clean copy of Windows XP Pro an installed all the necessary drivers EXCEPT the Multimedia Audio Controller. Going to HP's site, it would appear to be Realtek AC'97 but no matter which version of the driver I get for it, about half way thru the installation the entire computer crashes and restarts. I have been working on this for HOURS an it's making me insane. I have to return the computer tomorrow and I'm at a loss for what to do.

Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Thanks!

Over a year ago I got a Sony Vaio, model VGN-C140G, originally ran xp mce. 5 or 6 months in, it crashed and I ended up reformatting and installed xp pro sp2 2600....I've got mostly everything working, but am having a difficult time with audio.

I've (numerous times) installed and reinstalled the drivers from Sony's website, Realtek's website...After intense googling I found that I needed to install an ms hotfix before installing my sound card, so I did that, and continued trying to install various versions of RealTek's hd audio device driver (different forums seemed to recommend different versions to different users, and said that they are all apparently "the one for xp pro")....anyway the versions I've tried are the installation files: WDM_180, 182 and 187.

If anyone has any suggestions for me, I'd really appreciate it. It seems that other people have had this problem, after an upgrade, specifically when switching to Vista, but I'm still in xp...and what works for one person isn't working for everyone else (especially me!) so...

Thanks.

Basically I've uninstalled the above.... I didn't realise I needed it in order to be able to play my Windows Media Player and iTunes files
I've gone to their website and tried to download it/install it again, but its not having any of it and I just can't seem to work out what's wrong! I've gone to the 'Restore' section under 'Accessories' in my control panel (by advice given on a website), but it comes up saying it's unable to.

I've been trying to fathom out the problem for near enough 3 hours now....and I really don't know where to go from here.

Thanks in advance.

What would be a better option for a Sound Driver? I used to have "Realtek High Definition Audio Codec" when I used Windows 7, but a few months ago I installed Windows 8.1 and just kept the generic "AMD High Definition Audio Device". Haven't really noticed that much of a difference. That's why I want your guy's opinion based on AMD vs. Realtek - (Quality, Performance, etc.)

Thanks!

A:Realtek or AMD Audio Driver

Realtek is for the onboard high definition audio codec built onto the motherboard. It is what you use when simply using a desktop or laptop.

AMD is the audio driver for HDMI, for when you have a tv attached to the computer or desktop. This driver is installed along with the video driver itself.

You should download/install the latest Realtek HD driver from their site.

Hi,I'm now using Ideapad Z510. After upgraded to Windows 8.1. I'd went to the Lenovo website searching for new driver update. But, after i install the "Realtek Audio Driver 6.0.1.7023", the "Dolby Home Theater V4" is not running(audio sound not playing through). And, the "Dolby Digital Plus" is running instead of "Dolby Home Theater V4".Then, when I try to reinstall the older version "Realtek Audio Driver 6.0.1.6954" from Lenovo website, the "Dolby Home Theater V4" is running again.Truly, the "Dolby Digital Plus"'s sound is crisper and louder than "Dolby Home Theater V4". But the sound of "Dolby Home Theater V4" has more bass and more function (like Graphic Equalizer, more Intelligent Equalizer etc.).Is this an update or what? What should I choose? The newer driver (for Windows 8.1) or older driver (for Dolby Home Theater V4)?  Thanks. (confused now) @@

A:Dolby Home Theater V4 changed to Dolby Digital Plus after Realtek Audio Driver update Windows 8.1

I only installed audio driver ver. 6.0.1.6798 which includes Dolby Home Theater V4. Since no issues are encountered I have not updated to the latest version for my unit (ver. 6.0.1.7027). Does this Dolby Digital Plus mentioned by you better than V4 in some aspect aside from the ones that you already stated?

I am a little confused by your description I assume you mean that you do not have a CD drive? You downloaded the driver to a thumb drive and it will not install?A legacy driver is an out-of-date or an obsolete driver for older computersThe driver you need is the Realtek_5.10.0.5620_XPx86.zip:http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Dr...cer&SC=PA_7Why not download it straight to your wife's computer?

I was trying to update the Realtek HD Audio Driver, but it failed. All I did was to download the latest version of the program from Realtek, uninstall the previous version of the program, and re-install the latest version of the program, but it did not work. I have tried re-installing the latest version of Realtek HD Audio Driver many, many times, and it still did not work. I even go to the Device Manager to update the driver software, but it did not really help because Windows encountered the "Data Invalid" error. I go to Services to turn off Windows Audio and turn it back on, but it did not solve the problem.

My only problem is this. How do I fix the installation of Realtek HD Audio Driver?

My model is CQ5621F from HP and I hope someone is able to help me.

A:Realtek Audio HD Driver is not working

If it worked OK previously, use the System Restore function and restore the PC to an available restore date this BEFORE you had the problem. System Restore will fix many problems (and does not delete any user data). System Restore can be accessed from Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools.

A comment on your 64bit OS installation. 3GB of RAM is woefully inadequate and you are not getting any benefits from the 64 bit OS as the main reason to have 64 bit OS is having more than 4GB of RAM. In fact you have less useable RAM as a 64 bit OS requires more memory than a 32 bit.

Hello everyone.
I'm experiencing an annoying problem with the Realtek HD Audo Manager and I'm 100% sure it's being caused by the screenreader Jaws 16.0. I already got in touch with my Jaws dealer but am anxious to hear your feedback as well, because Freedom Scientific hasn't updated this issue over the past five months.
I should first mention that I'm not allowed to start Jaws without speech, even though I use a braille display withou speech. I have to turn the speech off manually. If I don't, the program crashes completely and just won't start at all.
Two weeks ago we used my computer to play a DVD on our TV via a HDMI connection. We turned off Jaws, and everything went fine. Last week, I was in a hurry and was stupid enough not to turn Jaws off, and I've regretted that ever since. Anyway, the HDMI connection partially worked: we got the image on the TV, but not the sound. In the end, we had to tell my computer not to use the built-in speakers in the control panel before the TV would produce sound, unlike the week before that. That sound was still normal.
After unplugging the HDMI cable, the sound coming from my computer, both when using speakers or headphones, sounded as if it were still coming through our TV: high frequencies unnaturally sharp and low frequencies unnecessarily emphasised. I went through all my sound settings five times, but everything seemed in order. In the end I lost patience and re-installed Realtek completely and now I'm struggling to understand the co... Their are several ways one would be og to your MB site and lookup the drivers for your card, it should tell you what it is.

The other is to go to device manager>click on sound device>properties>details tab>drop down menu> select hadward ID>Copy and Paste it and either we or you can put it in a search engine and it should direct you to what it is.

I Hope someone can help me with this.
Previously, I had the Realtek HD Audio Driver package installed along with Nvidia on my win xp system. Worked like a charm. Could go into NVIDIA Control panel and there I had the options "Realtek" for playing sound through my computer, or Panasonic (Nvidia HDMI connection to my TV. Now I have windows 8 God help me! "Talk about "If it ain't broke don't fix it!"

In the Nvidia Control Panel Audio Setup, now the only two options offered in the sound setup window are:
DVI: "No audio capable display available" (Greyed out! )
HDMI: Panasonic TV
It also shows sound readings for Panasonic (TV), Speakers, Earphones and Microphone. But if I try to switch from TV to Speakers (computer) it either doesn't make the switch and I lose the tv sound and end up with no sound reading in any category. I eventually get the tv sound back by repeating the setup process several times. I am hoping that installing the Realtek driver will make switching as simple as it was and that maybe not having it installed is the problem.

Here is the problem: Win 8 32 Bit keeps interrupting my attempts to install it with error message: Install Realtek HD Audio Failure Error code"-0001. Ok, so I've read all the threads here that delas with Realtek audio problems, but none of them seem to solve my problem.

So here we go: None of the drivers on Realteks site works. When I download and install them I just get a overcrossed speaker symbol. It says: No audio device installed. But in the control panel it says it is installed and working correctly. And yes, I have uninstalled any previous drivers and restarted my computer. However, if I use the drivers on the CD that came with my motherboard, I can get the audio to work. But when I plug something in on the front, like headphones for example, a popup says something like: This driver is not designed for Windows Vista, please visit Realtek to install the correct driver.

Also, there is also a problem with the driver on the CD. With it installed, the audio works only 2 times out of 3 when I boot my computer. Extremely annoying.

Please help!

Yep even i had this Problem with my onboard soundcard(Soundmax).
I kept trying different drivers to get my Front Panel Audio(FPA) to work(around 3-4 before one finally worked).

I suggest you stick to your CD Drivers for now and wait for New drivers or some workaround to be released.

Hi everyone!

I try to give as much detail of this problem as I can think of right now:
I just freshly reformated my C: drive, and when I went to reconfigure my drivers, the sound driver can't seem to work properly.
The computer beeps whenever it should give the standard windows ding from the speekers, the device manager shows a yellow exclamation mark (!) at my sound driver, which is a Realtek AC'97 Audio driver, and when I try to refresh or dowload another one, it says: Device cannot be activated (Code :10). I've downloaded the latest version from Realtek's page, did not fix it. It gives me a warning when I try to refresh it though, that 'This device did not pass the Windows Logo test', saying it's not compatible with XP. Which is funny, since before the reformat, I've been using it for a year without any problems. My Audio Card is an Intel 82801GB ICH7 - AC'97 Audio Controller [A-1], according to Everest. I've also checked the audio support in BIOS, it's enabled. In the Control Panel->Sound & Audio Devices panel everything is grayed out, every checkbox and every combobox on all tabs.

Can someone help me with this problem? I'm in a serious need of music right now...

In the past week I've been having issues with my speakers. For some reason they do not seem to detect my audio drivers. My little speaker icon displays "no audio output device is installed". I've tried many things, but they all seem to fail. I've tried restarting my computer, reformatting my computer, updating my audio driver, uninstalling and reinstalling my audio driver, downloading the newest update from my computer manufacturer's website, downloading the drivers directly from the Realtek website. For a while, downloading the drivers from the realtek website worked, but my computer would crash and then the sound would fail again. I've tried reinstalling the realtek hd audio driver through the device manager, but it gives me an error and says it can't install. I'm not sure what to do anymore, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
