I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Dears,I have designed a database with many reports of certain importance. basically a report in my DB is one of two types; a Daily Report (requires a single criteria which is the date) and the second is a History report. To view or print a report, I have designed a Filter form to fill in with the report criteria and clicking a button to open the report. The first type (Daily R) work fine without problems. The second type (History R)has a problem. In this report, the criteria are two or three because a history report will retrieve data within a period, so I have to input (FromDate) and (ToDate)and may be adding another criteria which is called a company. In all history reports, the report header will accomodate the two input values of date and extract the rest of report items into the reprot detail area. The problem is, the desigened system doesnot respond well as expected. When I load the filter form to fill in criteria for a history report, I have input the FromDate and ToDate and selected the third criteria (if any), then, the reprot opens without data in it.on the other hand, I tried to load the report directly form opening it, inputing criteria, and it has worked fine without probelms.Would someone expect a key reason for this problem or dirtecly can solve this problem?Appreciate youtr support. Thanks in Advance.mhegazy

I'll try and make this concise: BSODs occur even while desktop is not in use. Memory_Management and PFN_LIST_CORRUPT is what I remember seeing.

Also: IE9, IE10 and IE11 all "stop working" randomly. Chrome - ditto. FF32 - ditto.

I've run Memtest86 (10 passes) no errors.

The last BSOD was deliberate insofar as I was running Driver Verifier. I'm not sure if I am posting in the right area since the browser crashes and BSODs may be two separate issues ... ?

Dump files(s) attached. Please let me know if I can provide any additional info and thank you in advance for any help with this.

I have a report, with 3 sub-reports in. It collects all the data for a particular SiteID. in Each of the sub-reports, there is a cost value. One for Hardware, one for Mobiles, and one for Phone lines. I have fields at the top of report which reflects the values and totals them up. Works great, except:
When i have a SiteID with one of the subforms being empty; i.e no mobiles on the site it displays fine in the report view, but when i go to print or publish as a pdf it strips out the subform with no value, and throws an error in my calculation. I need the calculation there, which means i need it to stop striping out the subform with no value. I however cannot see how to do this...its just bugging me, its fine inthe report view, just when you send it to print.

Would grateful for some help,

Thanks Mike

So as you already tell by the title and all, I keep getting this:

"Windows Media Player Network Sharing Service has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost..."

...yada yada yada. You know, the typical error message thing. I did search for it, but I am very poor at that, and I apologize if I am posting on something that has already been discussed. I did see something about this very problem, but I couldn't make heads or tails of what was going on i.e. they didn't really say "Do this", I just saw some links that didn't help.

Anyways, I have un- and reinstalled Windows Media Player, as I have recently been getting an error message from them to. Then these pop-ups started coming, and I decided I would just ask about it. I made one of those log things, but I don't know what any of it means. So here you go.

I am using Access 2003 and want to put the file (database) name and the report name in the footer of my report. I'm using =CurrentProject.Name as the control source in a text box of the footer to get the file name. Is there a command I can use to add the report name?

A:Add report name in Access report footer

Hi Trilby

You could try this:

In the VBA code module (Class Module) for your report write a simple function (I've called it Get_Report_Name in my example):

Private Function Get_Report_Name() As String

Get_Report_Name = Me.NAME

End Function

In your report footer: add a text box at the position where you want to display the report name. In the Control Source property for the new text box enter: =Get_Report_Name()

This should display the report name when the report is run.

I received this email from goodness knows who:
Mail server report.

Our firewall determined the e-mails containing worm copies are being sent from your computer.

Nowadays it happens from many computers, because this is a new virus type (Network Worms).
Using the new bug in the Windows, these viruses infect the computer unnoticeably.
After the penetrating into the computer the virus harvests all the e-mail addresses and sends the copies of itself to these e-mail

Please install updates for worm elimination and your computer restoring.

Best regards,

What does this mean?
I have Thunderbird as my Email .

A:Email sent saying mail server report??

I have seen another thread about this and the conclusion that was reached in that case was that this was probably a variant of the Stration family of email worms. Most antivirus programs have definitions for these things now, although they seem to mutate daily. Have you scanned this with your antivirus?

Does the email contain a clickable link to the 'update' it refers to? Whatever you do DON'T click on it, just quarantine or delete the whole thing.

OS: Vista Ultimate
Development environment: Visual Studio 2005, C# & SSRS 2005

Problem: I have built an SSRS report that displays an image on a web page. The size of the report is fixed, 4in x 3in. Inside the report container is an image control. The size of the image control is fixed, just under the size of the report. The sizing property is set to "Fitprortional". The report is passed two variable; AcctNumber and Date and uses a stored procedure to determine an image file that is used by the image control i.e. different AcctNumber and different Date equals different image file (jpg).
When I run the website in the development environment, the image is automatically resized to fit within the report and the image control. After a build is done and the production website is accessed, this same AcctNumber and Date displays the same image, but now the image is NOT resized, but clipped (only the top left corner of the image is visible).
I have deployed the report to the report server and when I run the report on the report server it seems to run fine. Other users have noticed the same of their images are fine and some are clipped. I am stumped as to what the problem could be, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Last week my Windows XP Home edition was infected with the "System Tools" malware. I ran malware bytes and Gleary utilities and everything seemed ok. A few days later a couple of my servers were access via FTP (I guess my ftp info was stolen during the malware event). Many of my server files were injected with a line of code. My hosting company HostGator removed the injections and suggested that I run malwarebytes again as well as ComboFix. I just ran both but now see that a pair of expert eyes needs to look at the output log generated by ComboFix.

Is there anyone available to take a look?

If so, let me know if I should post it here or send vid PM.

I'm on Vista Home Premium (Czech version) and i'm having a little weird problem about error reporting:

When a program crashes, the error reporting system asks me if I want to report the crash (this is how I configured it, I want to choose what is reported and what's not). if I choose to report it, it often comes with a solution that it has found on the Microsoft Error Reporting website and tells me that a new solution is available, but when I try to open that solution, it tells me that it cannot connect to the server. That's weird because

- my internet connection is OK (I checked and rechecked all the several times)

- my firewall (ZoneAlarm) is not causing that (I even tried to uninstall it and see if that solves the problem)

- MS server works fine because I can open a solution like http://wer.microsoft.com/responses/....0.0?SGD=0479c917-0f7c-45ec-88bc-4408b007c66c (i found that link in the system information report generated by msinfo32.exe).

Googling didn't help as a few people are having the same problem but are clueless about how to solve it.

I really need help on this one...

I have looked over other threads concerning Yahoo Messenger voice issues, but none seem similar to the current problems I am experiencing. At the moment I am using the current version of YM for the US and while I can access chat rooms, I can't use audio nor receive audio from other users. When I first enter a chat room, voice is switched off as default, so when I switch it on I occasionally receive the error message 'the attempt to connect to the voice server was canceled.' The audio toolbar will appear below, but the talk and volume options are greyed out, like so:

I cannot interact with any of the voice options whatsoever.

I have fully uninstalled and reinstalled YM several times and still experience the same problem and under connections in preferences it is selected as 'connect directly to the internet' as opposed to proxy servers which appears to solve other similar problems, but makes no difference in my predicament.

If anyone here has experienced this issue in the past any suggestions of what to do would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes when I go to a webpage, I get a Message saying Failure to Connect to Web Server. thats it no Please Try again. Nothing.... I refresh the page and it works fine. Do you know what could be causing this?

A:Failed To Connect To Web Server

There are a million reasons for that happening and there are a millions answers too.Just to be basic, a. Are you using any type of firewalls? If so, it can cause a page to not load, then refresh it and it'll load.b. It could be connection problems between your isp and the target server.c. It could be that the server you're trying to connect to is having issues. If it's happening on more than one web site, then you have a connection issue, and it could be your isp as the problem.I don't know which browser you use, but if you are using Firefox, and you're using ShowIp, just go to your command prompt:Click on the Start button............Then click on Run.....................Then type in cmd in the area.. then click the OK button..................It'll bring up a command screen (DOS window).............................While in there just type ipconfig /all ....... it'll list every network connection you have.. (just for future references)after you do that, just type ping xxx.xxx.xxx.xxxxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx = ip address you're trying to connect to. ......... ordomain-name.com (the name of the domain) DO NOT use http://www. or similar. Just the domain name and the extension example, .com, .org, .net, .biz, etc..It'll inform you if it's connecting to the ip address/domain or not.=====================================================================1. How long has this problem been happening? Also, clear out your cache, cookies and whatever else you may know that could be interfering with y... Read more

I'm having trouble getting TightVNC to work. Here's the setup:

Linksys Wireless Router -
PC 1 -
PC 2 -
TightVNC server installed as service with password configured for both PC's.
TightVNC viewer also installed on both PC's.
PC 1 - PC1.homeip.net with dyndns updater installed and running as service.
PC 2 - PC2.homeip.net with dyndns updater installed and running as service.
Zone Alarm free version installed on both PC's.
Windows XP Pro on both PC's.
I've forwarded port 5900 to and on the router.

When I open TightVNC viewer and type in PC1.homeip.net from PC 2 or vice versa, it says "Failed to connect to server". Same result even after shutting down Zone Alarm.

But it works fine if I use the internal IP address to connect, namely or even with Zone Alarm (internal IP's configured as trusted zone) running.

I can ping PC1.homeip.net and PC2.homeip.net without any problems. Its probably something simple I'm missing but I can't figure it out.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi bibs64
Can you do a System Restore back to before you installed the Norton 360?If not, you might have to reformat and start fresh assuming you have an XP disk to reformat from?Otherwise, can you disable Nortons and run an online Panda Scan or Trend online scan and see what they find?

Get this message when I try to download mail with netscape address: "failed to connect to server imap.mail.netcenter.com" Have to go to netscape site to pick up mail from one netscape account; can't do it from netscape mail program with other email addresses.

Switched to netscape mail because I couldn't pick up my AOL mail from another computer while away. (AOL Anywhere didn't work). Figured I could get netscape anywhere.

So, I set up 2 email accounts with netscape. Have isp in addition to aol so I set up that email with Netscape, too. Have one isp and 2 netscape email accounts.

Seems to be a problem with more than one mail account on netscape. Do I need two different identities for 2 different email addresses? Netscape help file says I can have multiple addresses from different email systems.

Need to separate business from friends from surfing emails.

If anyone has suggestions on email program to use that I can access anywhere, please tell. Incredimail made my 'puter crazy and I still cannot remove the files....they return and return and return. Too many viruses with outlook.

Thank you. LK

A:failed to connect to server imap.mail.netcenter.com

Thank you. Finally figured it out myself by signing on a new netscape account and looking at the settings.

Didn't have SMTP outgoing mail server correct. Should have had "mail.'isp name'.com" in "Account settings", advanced. LK

Here is a copy of my log. Norton's says I have download.trojan on my xp operating system. It can't quarantine, fix or delete. I have tried every thing I can think of, even tried deleting the file from DOS. I can't rename or move the file. I can't stop the file with a kill program. I have been directed by Grinler to seek help from this board. I do have SP2 loaded. All of the files that Norton's listed end in .tlb if that makes a difference. They are all dated 7-30-04.

Thanks in advance for your help.
