Games on windows crash after CPU upgrade (With BSOD 1 time so far)

Q: Games on windows crash after CPU upgrade (With BSOD 1 time so far)

Hello

I have upgraded my CPU from Core 2 Duo 2.6mhz, to Core 2 Quad Q9500, and I had to upgrade the BIOS for my motherboard before that
MB type: GA-EP35-DS4

Everything worked fine for that, except when I run a game, it takes it about 10 to 12 minutes before it just crash and close itself (with no any error message), currently with:
Deus Ex: HR, Starcraft 2, Minecraft
I only get the error reporter for the games (if they had one) and no useful information I can get from them
I suspected the heat issue, so I bought a new cooler, the heat now in sticking on 37, no more
but still I am having this issue

My configuration are:MB: GA-EP35-DS4
CPU Intel C2Q, Q9500
8 GB RAM (Kingston) (2gb x 4 sticks)
Nvidia GTS 450 (As GPU)
Nvidia 9500 GT (As physix)
1TB HDD WD
320GB HDD WD (for system)
500GB HDD WD
500 watts power supply
Now I am thinking about the power supply, but the thing is everything was OK before, and I did not face any power issues before, all the problems started after I upgraded my bios and CPU

I checked the heat status and voltage status with CPU-Z stuff, but I am not fimiliar with the correct voltage values for RAM and CPU

Any suggestions about the issue?

PS: And the windows was on my computer since Jul 2009, and I would love to keep it from that date, I would not prefer re-installation unless there is no other option)

Regards

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

It might be a defect in the CPU
Run Prime 95 to test your CPU. Carefully the instructions in this tutorial: CPU - Stress Test with Prime95. Run 3 separate tests, one on each of the settings (Blend, Small FFTs, Large FFTs). Post back with your results.

Issues started not long ago when I purchased a new gtx 750 ti graphics card. Get varied Bsod error messages such as video_tdr_failure nvlddmkm.sys, and DPC_Watchdog_violation as well as one or two others. These issues present themselves upon starting of certain games. Specifically first person shooters but is rarely a problem for my most played game League of Legends. Very easily replicate-able as it happens everytime i start said games. Starts out as odd stretched lines and screen disturbances (spasm like textures and light shafts in game) and then black screen with sound followed by either display kernel crash message of my video driver or complete computer shutdown.

Also included below is a DxDiag system info save file.

Hey all,
I'm having an issue with my ASUS F5GL laptop. If I try to launch a game like Counter-Strike: Source, Garry's Mod or Just Cause 2, not long after actually leaving the menu and beginning to play (anywhere between 2-5min), the whole laptop just silently crashes. I checked ALL the logs, and there is nothing in there, except something recorded at boot, saying the computer was not cleanly shutdown. When it does crash, a second before it crashes, a weird thin horizontal line appears in a random location on the screen, going all the way across the screen. This was happening under Windows Vista, but I just bought and did a clean install of Windows 7 Home Premium, and it's still happening. I have updated my drivers and it still happens. Hi. I've recently been trying to play Metal Gear Solid 5 but every time I boot it up my PC either crashes as soon as the splash screens are done or after a few minutes. It's been crashing while playing other games as well but it's been much rarer. It's not a BSOD crash and it doesn't produce any crash dumps so I'm leaning towards it being a problem with either the PSU, the motherboard or one of the graphics cards. Any help with finding the cause of this would be appreciated.

The PSU model is fd-psu-newt2-800, the graphics cards are both Nvidia GTX760s and the motherboard is a ASUS Sabertooth Z77

Hi, I recently assembled my own computer mainly for the purpose of gaming. First day after assembly, I was playing Skyrim fine and everything was going perfectly. Second day though, I was playing skyrim and suddenly everything stopped, the screen went black, and a blue screen came up saying something about having to do a memory dump and then it shutdown rebooted my computer. I freaked out but I though it was just a one time thing because then I played for another two hours without a problem. However, the next day the crash happened three more times and on the third time, instead of there being a memory dump and a whole bunch of data on my screen, there was just a few lines of text and it said "There is a problem with your hardware. Check with your hardware manufacturers." and instead of rebooting like the usual crashes, it just staying on the blue screen and I had to reboot the computer myself. So far, the only two games I've played are skyrim and WoW and it's crashed on both of these games. If anyone could please let me know what the problem might be, I would be extremely grateful. Hello all,

I have a problem when playing certain games- I get crash caused by atikmpag.sys. Before that I had problem with atikmdag.sys. Sometimes I can play few days without crash, sometimes i get a crash. For example, in gta 4 i get a crash after 2mins.

GPU is MSI 6850 OC 1GB
What I tried:
-SFCSCAN -passed
-Fresh and updated windows 10 installed
-Tried with latest catalyst drivers and with beta crimson drivers. *(Didn't tried with drivers that Windows 10 has to offer)*
- Downloaded SEAGATE tool for testing HDD. All short and long tests passed. No bad sectors.
- GPU tested in Furmark
- PSU has enough watts and amperage.
-Temperature of gpu is 75 max when playing games at full load.
-Crashes happening with a stock CPU and overclocked , no difference.
-Tried with EXTRACT atikmpag.sy_ method...
-I run windows memory diagnostic and memorytest from windows, all good.
-I run Intel burn stress test-system is stable

When I run driver verifier, I got that 3 drivers are not verified- atikmpag.sys, atikmdag.sys and some atihd...something. Now i get update for Audio Device AMD and its verified. Still first two left unverified.
Im using Avast antivirus program. Now I will put exclusion for drivers folder, just to be sure.

This issue has been aggravating me for a while and I really want it to be taken care of. Since I bought this computer, mostly all my games have been crashing on me, and I'd say about 90% of the games I play just randomly crash or gives me the blue screen of death, most often the blue screen of death.

Here are my specifications as I'm sure that someone will be asking for it:

4 Gb of OCZ RAM
i5 750 2.7GHz
XFX Radeon HD 5870
MSI P55-GD65 mobo
1 Tb of HDD memory...

Running Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, using Corsair H50 liquid cooling as my main source of cooling and a Silverstone Strider 1000W PSU. GPU is always updated to its latest, BIOS has never been updated (still at 1.1 or something, I've seen the site and there's an option about updating it to 1.7 but I've heard bad things about updating BIOS), and my CPU is usually 29 ?C, sometimes spiking to something like 38 ?C for a few seconds when I'm gaming. I know a virus isn't causing this because I've wiped my hard drive a few times already.

If you guys need anymore information, please ask...

Thanks...

I recently put together my first computer and everything has been going wonderfully, up until I started playing games.
The other night I was playing an online FPS and the computer suddenly crashed and I got a blue screen with an error message that dissapeared too fast for me to read.
However I've gone and attached the minidump file in my post.
The problem has returned 4 times already and I'm starting to get worried, I'm not quite sure what to do.
It only happens when I play games though, which is different from the other posts I've read...

If anyone could help me out, I'd very much appreciate it! ;3

There's something I ask you to clarify, how come you have both via audio and creative labs? Perhaps removed your creative card but still having its drivers left? If so uninstall all Creative software and drivers and sweep its remnants with the Driver Sweeper:

Guru3D - Driver Sweeper

-> viahduaa.sys Tue Jun 02 04:52:36 2009 (VIA)
-> monfilt.sys Wed Jan 04 02:41:48 2006 (Creative)

Your report shows your audio is VIA, so update VIA Audio audio card driver:

Hello all.
I am new to these forums and need some help. Many of the other posts are of BSOD's, but mine is different. Outside of games my computer performs and runs perfectly fine and same with games, until recently.

Just recently (no, i have not installed ANYTHING) my computer started crashing during games only. It's wierd because normally people get BSOD, but in my case i get repeating sound and still image. Even if i let it sit there for a while it still doesnt give me a blue screen. I am forced to reboot using my reset button. At first it was only with CoD2, which i thought it was specific only to that game, but the other day i was playing EQ2 and the sound froze and image froze. The sound, lets say of me slashing, keeps repeating.

I have the latest drivers for my Graphics card and for my sound card and dont know why this started happening. The wierd thing is that i havent installed anything. Ive diagnosed my HD and nothing comes up, ive scanned my comp and its clean, ive yet to check the ram but willdo tonight. I hope its not the ram, and its compatible w/my Mobo (checked before i bought it). Ill try updating as many drivers as possible, but again... it shouldnt be this because it ran perfectly earlier with these drivers.

Ive had a chipset problem on my mobo a long time ago, but doubt it was this because that was about 2 months ago and games have been running fine afterwards (of course, until now). Also, Ive had SP2 from the getgo, so it shouldnt b... Read more

Hey, I got a 4 year old pc, it's worked fine so far, but now I have a strange problem

I've installed two new games I got, Dragon Age and Unreal Tournament 3, the first works fine but the other causes 5 second freezes for every 3 seconds of normal functioning, repeatedly.

The sound is fine (no looping sound, nothing), the framerate is great (when it works I can swing the mouse around and maneuver with ease) and there are no other problems, besides having all cutscenes and actual gameplay (basically everything made with the Unreal 3 engine) constantly interrupted by a freeze.

CPU usage shoots up to 100% when running UT3, both in full screen and window, but this doesn't affect DA. Some time ago I've installed America's Army 3, which also uses the Unreal 3 engine and I have had the same problem, the game was unplayable because of quick freezes, in spite of low settings.

Drivers are the latest, I have only basic processes running and the pc meets requirements, though not by much.

I have had a different version of this problem in Mass Effect, where it would freeze during dialogues for a few seconds, but resume with no consequence.

I suspect the source of these problems is the video card or the processor, since everything except video works fine. They may be too old to keep up with the demands.

Though the comp seems to crash the most during games, it has also crashed while using the internet, and on the desktop with nothing but programs and windows open. It doesn't always give me BSOD, sometimes it just freezes and system manager cannot be called up. One time it even cut out the sound of the game after stuttering for a second. A minute later the rest of it froze.

I used Blue Screen View and it seems to source ntoskrnl.exe as the main culprit though others like blbdrive.sys and win32k.sys have also showed up.

Recently my computer has begun to crash in the middle of games (Counter strike and League of Legends). The crash happens abruptly while playing, the screen tears the image completely where nothing on the screen is now identifiable, just shreds of the image/colors/pixels. The PC then stops all tasks and continues to run with the frozen image on the screen with no sound or anything running. I have to hard reset and hold the power button. The computer runs fine right after, a slow boot up at most. I know my CMOS battery is dying due to the clock on my computer losing time. Is could that be a problem linked to this?

I'd appreciate any help. Thank you.

Hey guys,

So i've had this build for a few months now. It is my first build. Here are the specs:
Intel Core i5-4690K
Zotac GTX 970
8GB Ram
Asus Z-97-A mobo
Windows 8.1

When i'm playing big games such as BF4 or GTA V, it likes to crash midway through the game constantly. I can play BF4 for a while before it crashes back to the desktop and i cannot play GTA for more than 10 minutes before it does the same. Sometimes these games even causes a BSODr. As well as, Crysis 3 just completely crashes and freezes my computer after a very short time of playing,

Also sometimes when i'm rendering a video in Sony Vegas Pro 13, i get a BSOD too.

I think it may be to do with my graphics card but i just can't quite put my finger on it. My GPU drivers are all updated.

Any ideas?

Edit, here is the DM file thing. ATIF-21_12_2015_160428_80.zip

when ever i play wow or any games my computer seems to not like it but when i'm just on facebook or i'm listening to music on itunes it seems to be fine.
my graphics driver is up to date.
also when i start my computer up sometimes comes up with DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL then it sometimes wont start up for awhile and the cpu fan wont even start but i think i can hear the Gcard fan going faster then drop and speed then speed up again and i will have to wait like 30mins then come to try again to start it up. but it would only crash again on games
when i open debug my Dmp it says at the end that hardware was the cause but im not sure what hardware it is i might be my graphics card but im not sure thanks.

Your problem may have something to do with this reported problem:
Microsoft details Windows 7 memory leaks, hangs, freezes

Your system's problem might be how it reacts to this memory leak bug. Anything is possible, in this type of situation.

Microsoft has been tracking some odd issues that occur on Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. These bugs are not typically fixed via Windows Update, because these hotfixes should only be applied to systems that are experiencing specific problems. So if you are not severely affected by either of them, wait for the relevant service packs. Here are the four most prominent issues, listed in order of decreasing severity.

The first manifests itself when the computer crashes after it runs for some time ...

The 'hotfix' in the above article is not part of any normal 'Update', so you do not get it unless you specifically request it.

I tried everything I thought of, that is clean install of GPU drivers, updated all other drivers and even a Windows format, but the problem still persists. Attached please find the latest dump files and a DxDiag system specs file.

This computer is brand new and just over a week old, and when playing a game, upon either tabbing out, or back into the game after having been tabbed out, I sometimes get BSOD. For example, I was playing Metro 2033, then I tabbed out and open Chrome to look up something, then when I tabbed back into the game, I was greeted with a BSOD. Using BluescreenViewer to see the minidump files, the issues seem to be caused by win32k.sys and ntoskrnl.exe. Just wanna figure out why this is happening and I'm worried if it's my hardware. To my knowledge all drivers are properly updated.

A:BSOD Crash when in Modern 2016 games such as Fallout 4, and more

The 6/30 9:05PM dump points to xusb22.sys dated 10/30/2015. This belongs to the Microsoft Xbox 360 Common Controller for Windows Driver.
There is an updated driver 6/26/2016 from MS in the upcoming Redstone release scheduled for August 4th I believe.

I don't know if this driver is the actual cause of a problem as normally MS files are not. Usually something else is the actual culprit. In this case I wonder since the XBOX support is still fairly new. Also I don't see anything in any of the dumps I've looked at that point to anything else.

Nothing else useful in the dumps I looked at. Give Driver Verifier a try, see if that flushes out any driver problems:

Driver Verifier is a diagnostic tool built into Windows 10, it is designed to verify both native Microsoft drivers and third party drivers. Driver Verifier's verification process involves putting heavy stress on drivers with the intention of making bad, outdated, incompatible or misbehaving drivers fail. The required result is a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) which will generate a crash dump for debugging purposes.
Machines exposed to Driver Verifier will run very sluggishly due to the stress being applied to the drivers.

Driver Verifier - Enable and Disable in Windows 10

Warning:
It is not advised to run Driver Verifier for more than 48 hours at a time. Disable Driver Verifier after 48 hours or after receiving a BSOD, whichever happens soonest.

Always create a Restore Point prior to enabling Driver Verifier.

Probably caused by : memory_corruption ( nt!MiCheckSpecialPoolSlop+6e )
The specifics of this bugcheck can be found on my blog here - BSODTutorials: Debugging Stop 0xC1 - Sloppy Bytes and Special Pool

Okay, the dump file doesn't reveal a faulty driver, however, a driver has caused some form of memory corruption. The later dump file revealed Avast as the last running process, this doesn't essentially mean that Avast is causing problems, but it could be a indication since I've seen Avast frequently cause problems in the past.

I'll recommend the removal of avast with avast! Removal Tool, at least for testing purposes.

Hello, I'm new here and have a major problem,

I've built myself a new computer.

AMD A10-7850K APU
Radeon R7 260X Graphics Card
16 GB of ram.
It has been BOSD -ing constantly. Sometimes hourly. It doesn't matter what I'm doing. Video Games, Kerbal Space Program, surfing the web, watching youtube, or just typing in word.

I've tried a full re install of windows. I've tried refreshing windows. I've cleaned the registry, checked the drives for errors. I've run memtest for a full day. I've updated all of my drivers. I can't find or fix the problem.

I have a ton of mini crash dumps. The ones I've looked at say ntoskrnl.exe is the problem.

Can anyone help?

A:BSOD All the Time. Crash Dumps say ntoskrnl.exe

Here are the crash dumps in .txt files.

I think some of them might have occurred during an update. But most were just during regular computer use.

Also, I am not overclocking. My ram is running at the manufacturer's specs. And my CPU isn't overheating.
I've tried everything I can think of and everything I can find online.

Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated.
Sorry If I did any of this wrong. This is a little out of my depth when it comes to computers.

Hi,

Varying different bugchecks here, many of them being: APC_INDEX_MISMATCH (1) and RESOURCE_NOT_OWNED (e3). These two bugchecks are usually always caused by a device driver bug. So, for now, I am going to recommend enabling Driver Verifier to see what we can catch:

Driver Verifier:

Quote:

What is Driver Verifier?
Driver Verifier is included in Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Server 2003 to promote stability and reliability; you can use this tool to troubleshoot driver issues. Windows kernel-mode components can cause system corruption or system failures as a result of an improperly written driver, such as an earlier version of a Windows Driver Model (WDM) driver.
Essentially, if there's a 3rd party driver believed to be at issue, enabling Driver Verifier will help flush out the rogue driver by flagging it and causing your system to BSOD.
Before enabling Driver Verifier, it is recommended to create a System Restore Point:
Vista - START | type rstrui - create a restore point
Windows 7 - START | type create | select "Create a Restore Point"
How to enable Driver Verifier:
Start > type "verifier" without the quotes > Select the following options -
1. Select - "Create custom settings (for code developers)"
2. Select - "Select individual settings from a full list"
3. Check the following boxes -

The issue also causes games to crash such as Overwatch and Rocket League which causes a, " Overwatch stopped working in the graphics driver" issue, and can also on some instances cause BSoD.

While playing games like CS:GO or H1Z1, I have a lot of crashes to desktop and sometimes BSOD. The BSOD can happen also while watching streams & listening to music. So far, I had these ones : 0x1000007E / dxgmms1.sys+1DFA5 / 0x0000003B / atikmdag.sys+C4DE0.

I think I tried everything in my knowledge to solve the problem but it still didn't resolve the problems. On the hardware side :
- Switched the memory sticks ;
- Switched the graphic card (my brother has the same one as me and it never failed him. Still it didn't resolve the problems on my computer) ;
- Switched to Marvell SATA controllers then to the 3Gb Intel controllers ;
- Used a USB sound card thinking that it may have something to do with the audio on the motherboard;
- Changed the graphic card slot to the PCI 8X.

On the software side :
- I reinstalled all my drivers using the suggestions made by this site : Easily explore your PC & using also some other softwares like SlimDriver ;
- I formated & reinstalled win 7 on my SSD ;
- I installed win 7 on my HDD thinking that my SSD was the problem ;

Howdy folks! In the past few days, I have gotten many BSOD's while browsing the web, playing games, or talking to people on Teamspeak 3. Usually the
BSOD/crash hits me usually an hour in while I'm doing those things in a session. Before I did get BSOD's and crashes but they were few and spread out. I never responded to them because they happened very sparsely. Now that they are very constant, I need to do some action. I have went into safe mode right now and am typing this on another computer. Oh and this problem started Saturday, May 7th 2012.

As for the dmp files, I was a noob and didn't have the option for the BSOD crashes to save dmp files but now that that is enabled, I do have one dmp file that I can share.

Also I have noticed that sometimes that when the computer crashes, the sound becomes very distorted, the screen tears/fuzzes into a static-like image and then it just restarts. I either get this kind of crash or just a simple BSOD. Sometimes, the sound just distorts, I see a black screen and then the PC restarts. Not even a distorted image.

Both RTCORE64.sys (MSI) and asacpi.sys from 2005 and loaded in the only DMP file present.

Those need to be updated before we can do any underlying investigation.

Asacpi.sys

The pre 2009 version of this driver is a known BSOD cause.

Scroll down to the utilities category, then scroll down to the "atk0110 driver for windowsxp/vista/windows 7 32&64-bit" (it's about the 12th item down).

Download and install it.

Go to c:\windows\system32\drivers to check and make sure that the asacpi.sys file is date stamped from 2009 or 2010 (not before).

Hello, everyone. I just got back to my PC after a my first year of college, and when I first started it up it bluescreened. I didn't manage to catch the error before it rebooted, then changed to a black screen said that there was no hard disk to boot with.
So I turned it off, turned it back on, and it booted just fine. I ran a full system scan with Avast to check for malware, updated some games on Steam, and basically did my best to get my computer up to speed since it had been off for so long (while I did use it during long breaks). While the Avast scan was running I played World of Warcraft for about an hour or two, and bam--another bluescreen. The error message said something along the lines of "Display drivers failed to restart," but again I couldn't catch the rest because it rebooted, coming up with the same black screen as before. So I turned it off.
When I booted it up for a third time Avast opened almost immediately and asked to restart my computer and run a scan of the startup files. So I obliged; it seemed like it scanned my whole system again, which lasted for an hour or two, and it seems like it moved Malwaregen and corrupted files to the chest. When it was done my computer booted normally. I installed some Windows updates and a new Nvidia driver, figuring that something was outdated, and once again started playing World of Warcraft. This time it didn't bluescreen; instead, the screen froze after ten minutes and turned a solid color. My PC rebooted almos... Read more

A:BSOD ten minutes after starting games, now crash after driver update

Try any other driver version and see how it goes. Uninstall the installed display driver using Display Driver Uninstaller. Then install the NVIDIA DRIVERS GeForce Game Ready Driver WHQL

When done, stress test the Graphics Card using Furmark. Video Card - Stress Test with Furmark
Take a screenshot of the furmark window before closing it. Upload the screenshot for us. Also let us know if you have experienced any crash/BSOD and/or artifacts during the test.

Also, Is the computer hot? Report us the heat of the computer after a couple of hours of your normal usage. Upload a screenshot of the summery tab of Speccy. Alternatively, you can publish a Speccy snapshot too: Speccy - Publish Snapshot of your System Specs .

Ok . I am getting random system lockups, can happen anytime. Sometimes using when using chrome or just on desktop. Happens most often when windows is on login screen, or sometime right before windows loads. Playing any game I have will cause crash to desktop. Crash time varies from game loading screen to playing game for a few minutes.

So far I have reinstalled windows 3 times. I have replaced motherboard because it crashed during bios update, thus ruining mobo, tried different power supply also. After installing windows I have installed latest drivers that I could find, didnt seem to make any difference from the drivers that were loaded when windows was first installed. I did notice that after I installed pc matic I got constant BSOD, So I uninstalled it. fewer BSOD But still have lockups and game crashes.

I have ran memtest for 24 hours with no errors, also ran tests on ssd and hdd drives with no errors.
I should have the files attached to this post.
AMD fx9370
asus m5a99fx pro 2.0
16 gb ram
Amd radeon R9 200
sandisk 120gb ssd
toshiba 2Tb drive
LG dvd drive

A:System lockups, BSOD, games crash. errors vary.

Daemon tools, Alcohol 120% and Power Archiver Pro uses SCSI Pass Through Direct (SPTD), which is a well known cause for BSOD's.
Please remove Daemon Tools and run the SPTD pass through remover.

Uninstall Daemon ToolsDownload the SPTD standalone installer and follow these steps:
Double click the executable to open itClick on the button shown below

If the button is grayed out, like in the image, there is no more SPTD installation on your system, and you can close the window

Please uninstall ASUS software, it is known for causing bluescreens.

Diagnostics Test

 Clean boot

Please try the following:
Open taskmanager
Go to the tab startupdisable everythingSearch msconfig and open it
Go to the tab servicesCheck 'hide microsoft services'Uncheck all other servicesClick apply and click okReboot if asked
See if the problem persist, if the problem does not persist enable in the startup tab in taskmanager 1 item and in the services tab in msconfig also 1 service, reboot and see if the problem persist. Keep doing this until you find the culprit or there is nothing left.
If the problem still persist, try booting in safe mode and see if the problem still persist

Zip of dump files attached. This problem has been happening for approximately three months. I've not changed any hardware in that time. I've been using the same installation and same copy of Windows for approximately two years without issue.

Thanks very much for your help.

A:BSOD code 124 - Games crash to desktop and programs cause BSODs

Code:
Host Name: NEIL-PC
OS Name: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate
OS Version: 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
OS Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation
OS Configuration: Standalone Workstation
OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free

Original Install Date: 18/06/2014, 20:10:40
System Boot Time: 06/04/2015, 18:40:25
System Manufacturer: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd.
System Model: P55-USB3
Counterfeit installations such as yours contains heavily modified code that causes the installation to behave it unexpected ways. Analysing BSOD's and determining their causes on these sorts of installations is very unreliable.

My recommendation is to start with a clean slate, and install a genuine version of Windows. This will minimise the problems you are experiencing, and make subsequent diagnosis of BSOD's far more reliable.

I have done this so many times now. I just give up. This is my third BSOD thread on the forums. I have been crashing so recently. I still think it's my card or drivers.
I have reinstalled my nvidia drivers at least 30 times now.

Please help.
Here's the folder as always..

A:Need help urgently. BSOD all the time while playing games.

Hello,

Lets try and solve it permanently then!

BSOD Analysis:

Looks like your NVIDIA Drivers don't like you:

Code:
Probably caused by : nvlddmkm.sys
Showing that, its the problem. I don't see any known programs that could cause it otherwise.

What graphics card do you have??

I keep getting BSOD whenever I play a game after roughly 2-3 hours the error message keeps changing but the last 2 have been "an uncorrectable hardware error"

I've added an sf Diagnostic tool file, though a message came up and the green bar at the base never reached the end.

I tried added what I thought the dump file was, but it won't upload I'll try again later

Sorry if I hadn't added all you need, but please ask if you need anything else

Welcome aboard.

First of all, you update your display driver. It is too old.
