I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

The screen brightness controls on my Yoga 2 pro just stopped working recently. I read to try using Lenovo settings or Lenovo Vantage to adjust them. But it does NOT come up in the Microsoft store, and the download links are all for Windows 10. I  have Windows 8.1 Are there any download links for Windows 8.1? What will work? I can not change brightness on screen.

I'm trying to revive this thread... I have a Yoga 910 and it looks like after recent updates (a combination of MS and Lenovo) My PC will revert the fn back to hot-key mode, no longer sleep while not plugged in and left idle, and ignores other settings like what to do when power get below a certain point or keeping table mode shut off (each time I open lid screen will have auto-rotated). I now have Vantage version 4.13.153.0. What's going on? The Vantage settings save for a day or so and then revert back - IOW, every day or so I need to open Vantage and reset these to what I want them to be (hella annoying), not to mention will just shut down when battery gets to a certain level.

My Camera isn't working. I cannot change the privacy setting because my Lenovo Vantage camera settings are missing. So are the drivers for my Camera. F8 doesn't do anything (just keeps showing "no camera" icon)I suspect this has to do with an update pushed on 2/13. Even before this, my camera would randomly switch back to privacy setting "on" whenever Lenovo pushed an update. SUPREMELY FRUSTRATING.

Hi, this is a solution I thought I'd just share so others can find it, if needed. I wanted to toggle the hotkey functionality on my 920-13IKB (so function keys would work without the Fn button and the hotkeys with Fn button) but couldnīt find a way to do so. BIOS (5NCN38WW) did not provide that option and "Lenovo Settings" was not available on the PC and not as a download. Several support agents couldn't give me a solution and after I've been told this was definitely in BIOS, I was told what I wanted was just not possible. However, I eventually found out the Lenovo Settings features are now included in the "Lenovo Vantage" app which can be downloaded from the Microsoft store (possible without Microsoft ID albeit the suggestion to register does come up).  I can now toggle the hotkey functionality and the app also gives access to several other useful stuff (like checking for updates or showing the pen battery status). TL;DR: Download the app "Lenovo Vantage" from Microsoft store to toggle hotkey functionality. HTH, regards.

Ten minutes ago I received a message from Lenovo that "Lenovo Settings has merged with Lenovo Vantage". I clicked to launch but nothing has happened. What do I do now please? PS In case it's relevant, just a minute or so earlier I received a message from Lenovo that there was a BIOS update. It said that I should close all files/programs and that this BIOS updare might require restarting several time. I clicked OK but nothing happened. I've created a new thread about that.

Hi everyone !First post here, and new Lenovo user I have opened the Lenovo Vantage application, and set the Functions Keys option to "hot keys" in the hardware settings, Input menu.It does work as expected, however, every time my computer goes to sleep, the setting reverts back to F1 - F12 setting. How can I save this setting to stay on Hot Keys ?I've also tried changing this in the BIOS, but when I open Corsair Icue, it also reverts back to function keys.Thank you in advance for any help the community is able to provide Cheers

So are all the other options. I have tried updating all my drivers and resetting my PC. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program as well.

Hi, I recently was prompted to do an optional update to the touchpad driver via Lenovo vantage. Since then the custom settings for the touchpad have reverted to the generic windows mouse settings. There used to be options to turn off taps, gestures etc. I have set the touchpad to low sensitivity for taps but it's still too sensitive when using the touchpad and it often clicks on things I don't want it to. I have uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled based on my serial number and still the same. I'd have thought this is how it is but knowing that I used to be able to turn things off like taps, then this is why I am trying to find a solution. So far haven't had much luck with support via Live chat with Lenovo or via email. Can someone help? I need taps turned off and want to be able to access those settings like just recently.

I have been wondering why there are two methods to get updates for my X1 Extreme. One update method is via the Lenovo Vantage application (under Windows 10 Programs)The other method is to go to the Lenovo Support page (https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/products/laptops-and-netbooks/thinkpad-x-series-laptops/thinkpad-...); I used the full URL with model number, but you can also use the main support page and use 'Dectect Product' which uses Lenovo Service Bridge to detect the laptop model and serial #. I have used both, but am probably going to stick with Lenovo Vantage. Which method are most of you using? PSell is similar in this regard. They also have multiple update apps / methods for some reason.

Now when I went to lenovo vantage to find those options, they had disappeared and I can't access or find them at all. Hey all ... here is a screenshot of the current state of affairs: Note: this is the Win 10 Pro 64-bit OS, Version 1803 ... Windows Update is ' ... up to date'. I have tried various Lenovo Vantage Critical / Recommended / Optional update selections (in their respective groups and / or alone) and re-booted every time following failed system updates ... I cannot seem to break whatever log jam is occurring here. I thought perhaps trying the IME 11.6 Firmware - 10 [64] - V.11.8.55.3510 update alone, or, the ThinkPad BIOS Update - 10 [64] - V.2.26.1.18 update alone (they are both 'Reboot Required' updates) might get me past this issue, however, so far, no joy.  There is a 'Fully charged (100%)' battery installed in the system. Thanks for any insights offered, FFF P.S.  I would also be interested to find a Lenovo drivers list of older Synaptics Pointing Device (ThinkPad UltraNav / Touchpad) drivers for my P70 machine ... does such a historical driver resource exist?  The reason being, the more recent touchpad drivers are unsuitable for me ... too sensitive / 'sticky' (adjustment of various touchpad settings doesn't cure the usability issues) ... I much preferred the behaviours of the earlier drivers but can now only Roll Back to Driver Version: 19.3.4.202 (16-Jan-18) ... I'd much rather use the July 2017 driver version, whatever the version number was (possibly 19.3.4.112).

I read other posts and none specifically addressed this for the 920 and the use of what is actually a good Lenovo config tool seems to be poorly documented.   I would think it would be the same for any Yoga model with Windows 10 and Lenovo Vantage installed.   I can't seem to find a version for Vantage, so hopefully this works on all versions.    1) Find and open Lenovo Vantage on your machine (use Cortana if needed).   This is the Responsive view and yours may look different...don't worry, options are the same.  Click on Hardware settings  2)  Click on Input (again, responsive view...whatever view you have should have this button labeled the same)  3)  This will open the Hardware Setting - Input UI.   Under 'Function Keys' click on the one that is labeled 'F1-F12' (should look like below, highlighted in blue) to make that the the Function the default setting for those keys...to further clarify: it will now be a Function Key (F1-F12) by default.    With this change, you will press the FN+ one of the function key for the Hot Key option (e.g. FN+F1=mute/unmute, FN+F2=volume down, etc.)     4)  Your change is already saved, so you can now X-out (click X in the upper right) of the pop-up windows created by that were created

In this first screenshot of Lenovo Vantage running under Windows 10 (64) on my X1 Yoga (1st generation), please notice where it says that I need to install Sierra Wireless EM7455 Software - 10 (64), version 7.47.4743.0105.  However, in the second screenshot, please notice where the Installation History shows that Sierra Wireless EM7455 Software - 10 (64), version 7.47.4743.0105 was successfully installed already. Everytime I boot up and run Lenovo Vantage to check for updates, it tells me that I need Sierra Wireless EM7455 Software - 10 (64), version 7.47.4743.0105 so I let it install it. Everytime I install it, the installation appears to be successful and my computer reboots, but then after rebooting, Lenovo Vantage again tells me that (1) I need it, (2) I already have it. This is crazy.  In the third screenshot (looking at Windows Device Manager) I see the Sierra Wireless EM7455 Qualcomm Snapdragon X7 LTE-A. The fourth screenshot shows that it is disabled.  I will enable this and then retry to install the updated. I'll report back in a second posting on this thread whehter it works.  (I would leave this posting open and finish it later, but I'm afraid it woud all be lost when I reboot).

A:ENDLESS LOOP: Lenovo Vantage Tells Me To Update a Driver That Vantage Says Is Already Up to Date.

After enabling the driver in Windows Device Manager, then again trying to update, the update was successful. After another reboot, Lenovo Vantage no longer show that this needs to be updated.  I'm no programmer, but it seems to me that the Lenovo Vantage update program ought to be able to see whether a driver is disabled and to tell the user to enable it in order to allow successful of updating of the driver. Hi,I've just got my Lenovo V310-15 laptop and installed Windows 10 on it. From product support page I downloaded and installed Lenovo Utility, and there is nothing more. So, after installing it nothing happened. Only when i trigger CapsLk or Num Lock an information on screen appears. But, I want to have an ability to other options such as energy managment and allowing battery charging only to 80% for example.I know that this model is new and maybe not popular, but please add these programs and features like for other devices.Greetings

AIUI, Windows 10 comes with Balanced. You can create as many other power profiles as you like and name them anything you want. It's a great way to experiment as you can always go back to "balanced."

I have made sure my power management driver is up to date, as well as the app and both the dependency packages. Any ideas?

Hello everybody! I just picked up my new V310-15ISK with Windows 10 Professional. The notebook came with a Western Digital 1TB hard drive and I want to change it with a Samsung 850 Evo SSD. Certainly, I want to keep all the recovery partitions, which means that I have to shrink them to the new drive's size 250GB. I made a clone with AOMEI Partition Assistant but it doesn't boot it gives error code 0xc0000000e "your system needs maintencance". Any ideas?

I have a Lenovo v310-15isk laptop for 5 months. Today the touchpad's left click has been stucked (it had problems since the first few weeks ... it was used/deteriorated very quickly), it is stuck inside a bit to the left , and it can no longer be used.I do not want to disassemble my laptop because the touchpad is "bad"positioned. I still have warranty. Can I send it to the warranty for this reason? somehow it would seem silly (because probably is not a big problem but for me it is and it bothers me a lot) but can I? sorry for my english.Thank you in advance!

Well, since no one had replied to my previous question, i will ask again.Firstly, how many time do i have to start a new topic to get noticed? My 1month old laptop freezes constantly, i don't know what is happening, checked everything related to the updates, drivers, errors, viruses, scans and that stuff, laptop doesn't have heating issues, app crashing, slowdowns... Did the lenovo slution center scans, it is all good. I heard from the other members that replacing motherboard wont solve the problem, so dont try that, i am asking you what else can i do? i cannot even browse the internet, play YT videos,I simply dont have time to waste, reinstalled win10, updtated to the latest bios and even that wont help, so i' am assuming that my device is faulty. How am i supposed to do my job, when i have unstable laptop? I am wondering will you replay this time, and please don't tell me to run lenovo solution center, or to update drivers, or to reinstall windows for the 4th time. I've had enough of it.Looking forward to your reply,Kind regards
