Personal Domain Email forwarding

Q: Personal Domain Email forwarding

Hello!

Being the most tech savvy person in my company (coffee shop/bakery), I've been tasked with changing the forwarding email of our websites to one email. I don't have a lot of information from the owner (ie. backend info, hosts, etc). So I'm trying to assess what the process looks like so I can just gather the information I need and do it without gathering more information than I have to because finding the information will (I suspect) be more time consuming than actually implementing this change.

basically [email protected] forwards to someone's personal gmail which should forward to a different email but responses should still show up as [email protected]

Any tips would be super valuable.

Should they just invest in a full time or regularly contracted web developer? Probably, but they haven't so.... I'm learning as I go. LOL!

I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Does anybody know of any "No Thrills" UK-Based Domain Name Forwarding services? I want a .com redirection to my existing website but I don't need any other features than that! I would also prefer the URL to be masked so that my domain remains in the address bar, but this is not crucial. I won't be needing e-mail or any other added extras!
Thanks For Any Replies

Sorry about posting in this forum, I see no suitable forum and therefore I may as well post in the busiest.
I am looking for an email provider which allows both filtering by keywords in the message body and also has email forwarding.
This is because I am trying to filter out spam emails from one email address however the email provider (hotmail) cannot filter by message body.

Therefore I will need to forward emails to this new email address (by another provider which I need suggestions of) and have these emails filtered by message body and forwarded back to the original email address. I know that all email incoming from this new email address will be filtered emails and hence can set a rule to redirect them to another folder.

I have tried yandex which is the only I have found which claims to offer these facilities but no emails appear to be appearing in the inbox.

Can Microsoft please provide methodology for setting up Windows Event forwarding (Sender initiated) for a Domain Controller based on a Windows Server 2012 R2 Core installation? Unfortunately all of your documentation relies on using the local Event
Viewer GUI to set this up. Connecting Event Viewer from a full Server 2012 installation to a Core Installation loses this ability entirely. The only option I've tried to employ so far leverages an .xml file, but I am not sure it is working correctly.

Please note: this is for Windows Security Event ID 4776 ingestion.

Hi
I currently have a website where its discussion forum will be used to list all the bad UK's Siberian husky breeders and a lot of other info which remains a secret and needs to be released to the pubic in order to prevent the bad welfare of the Huskies.
I want to keep my personal info as confidential as possible.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how I can get rid of my personal info which is registered with my domain name.
Do I have to contact my DNS provider or my host to request removal of this info or another company.
Also is there any other info I should be aware of in order to keep the site secure,e.g some good software to prevent hackers in the site.

Regards
Alex

p.s I think this site is great and will definatly recomend it to others.

How can I best repair the profiles or do I have to redo each of the corrupt users. They both generate a local profile on the work station. I can logon with the second admin account and appear to have the profile active.

Hi! I'll try to keep this as brief as possible, but it's really difficult to explain. One of my email buddies (fortunately he's an honest person) recently told me that any email I send him, from both my home and work computers, has a ton of garbled info attached to the end of the email... The info includes previous emails I've sent to other people, cell phone bill details, shopping details - ANY and EVERYTHING I do online is connected to my emails to him. It doesn't matter what email I use... My Outlook account at work, Gmail, Aol, RR... it all attaches info to EVERY email I send to him. Even the "Read Receipt" he receives when I click on one of his emails has info attached to it. !?!?!?!!! IT'S EXTREMELY DISTURBING! And he also receives info from my family members who use my computer at home, so it's not just MY info he's receiving.

I do know that he is on a "Whitelist" with the company he works for (for a very important reason), so he's not bound to the security that everyone else is protected by. He's had his computer restaged twice and it still keeps happening. He uses Outlook and it happens with his desktop AND his laptop at work.

I thought about talking to my IT Helpdesk at work, but haven't yet since this is happening from EVERY computer I use, so I know it's not a specific computer issue. Is there, perhaps, something that my friend has done, without my knowing, to gain access to my per... Read more

Hello,
I've managed to setup email forwarding for my wife's new marketing business so I get emails coming to the POP3 email account [email protected] from the email address [email protected] and also [email protected]

However, when I send an email it appears (in someone else's inbox) to come from
Joanna Rigby <[email protected]> when I would like to appear to come from
Joanna Rigby <[email protected]>

I want them to see her domain name @madeyousmile.co.uk NOT the pophost.123-reg info.

Any suggestions on how I do this please? I'm running Microsoft Outlook Office 2007.

When I got BellSouth DSL years ago I had Outlook email account set up with BellSouth as outgoing and old domain as incoming so I could keep my email address from another domain. It worked fine until a year or so ago I had to add another account just for BellSouth and that worked fine.

Within last few weeks emails from my email address (old domain) would not send. I've been through it with ATT tech several times to no avail.

It seems that ATT has trapped me out and does not want me to be able to keep my old email.

There's bound to be a way to set up my email accounts so my outgoing email from my other ISP provider will send through BellSouth without changing my very old and reliable email address.

Also, I recently have acquired my own domain name and I fear emails from that email address will suffer the same fate.

I hope this is not too long, but PLEASE HELP if you can.

A:Can't send email using different domain in email address BellSouth trapped me out...

If your BellSouth e-mail service is provided by Yahoo, then you probably need to go through a registration and authentication process for each e-mail address you want to send through a non BellSouth/Yahoo mail server. At least that is what I had to go through as an SBC/ATT DSL customer. They claim that they do the blocking to prevent from originating from users within their network.

Step 4. Click Control Panel from the Start Menu.
Step 4. In the search box type in homegroup -> now click HomeGroup.

Hi.

I will be leaving the house for a couple of days soon. While I am away, I will need to check my @btinternet.com emails. I usually use Microsoft Outlook 2007 on my home computer to do this. I will be taking a laptop when Igo away. I could use the BT Yahoo! web client, but if I open my emails in here I don't think it'll keep them stored on Outlook on my home computer.

How do I enable it to copy all emails to a different email address (a gmail one, for example), but then let it receive them all on my Outlook when I return.

Hopefully this is understandable.

Thanks.

As far as I'm aware (I have an @btinternet.com email too) accessing your webmail will not stop messages being downloaded to Outlook (assuming it is only setup on one PC) as long as you don't delete them from your webmail inbox.

However just to be safe I would make sure after you read a message you mark it as unread to guarantee it gets downloaded by Outlook on your return.

Looks like you have searched for the proper applications so I cannot really offer anything there. Where is the mail being forwarded to? Is it being forwarded to another web based email account or do you just want it downloaded to your pc.

I will offer you a Google Email account if you want one. Forwarding is builtin to its options.

Not sure why that won't work - never saw that problem.

You don't say for sure that this is isolated and you have no
problems forwarding other emails. Hope that is true.

When the email is closed, can you right click on it and
forward as an attachment?

What happens if you try reply, instead of forward? You
don't actually have to reply to the sender, you can erase
that address and put in the proper address of the person
you really want to send it to.

I have a client who sends out a monthly html email that I designed, but did not code (it is coded dynamically using ASP). The email is sent-out to several hundred subscribers via a list serv. The client wants to be able to, after receiving the email in their inbox, forward it to another email address. The problem lies in the fact that when the email is forwarded it is always mangled in one way or another. Sometimes it is only a missing graphic element that does not detract too much from the overall look of the email, but sometimes is has been a garbled mess (tables and cells misaligned, pictures missing, etc.) by the time it arrives in another person's inbox.

Is there a way to ensure that an email is able to be forwarded without any trouble? I know this is a very general question, but I really haven't a clue if this is an email program problem (Outlook, for instance) or a code problem. If there are any ideas out there I would appreciate it. Thanks.

A:Email not forwarding intact

i think it would be an email program problem.
the program could be quoting the lines of code in the forward.
maybe try forwarding it as an attachment.
