I recommend downloading and running Reimage. It's a computer repair tool that has been proven to identify and fix many Windows problems with a high level of success.

I've used it in the past to identify and fix everything from blue screens (BSOD's), ActiveX errors, corrupt files and processes, dll/exe/sys errors, recover lost memory, Windows update problems, defragging, malware removal etc.

You can download it direct from this link http://downloadreimage.com/download.php. (This link will automatically start a download of Reimage that you can save to your computer.)

Hello Sam95 and welcome to Seven Forums.

If you think the installation of this graphic adapter is the cause of your problems than I think it would be wise to either take it away (run the uninstall program that came with the adapter ) or if that does not work, restore your system till a date before this installation.

The monitor displayed reasonable graphics with the XP hard drive, however now I can only get 16bit, 640 X 480 displayed on my monitor. Until I can upgrade to another system, I need a cheap fix for my problem. Any downloads or suggestions to cure my ills??
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there.Have an issue with my display adapter.Every time I boot my "Ideapad Z580" on, I cannot connect to any external displays without first having to update my display adapter in the device manager.  For some reason it seems to roll back to an earlier driver while either its shutting down or booting up.  I've deleted old driver files and it still has the same problem.  Whenever I try to connect to my tv, by either WIN+P combination or the Intel control panel, it cannot find my TV or any other Monitor I plug in.It's been like this for a year or so, never actually thought about writing on the forums about it.I use a larger TV for display output (bad eye sight) and it's just turned into more of a nuisance than anything.Any help would be great, if there's anyway I can provide more information just let me know!

I am using the VGA port of a Dell 4-in-1 adapter (DA100) to connect my XPS 13 with touch screen display to a Dell U2412M monitor. The Intel HD Graphics Control Panel does not detect that there is an external monitor attached to the computer, i.e., the Graphics Options menu does not show the "Output To" option, the Graphics Properties' Display menu shows only "Built-in Display" under the Select Display tab, etc. The DA100 was installed remotely by Dell Support (after neither I nor they could find the driver on the Dell support website, as instructed to do by the software driver download guide that comes with the adapter), so I assume that it was installed correctly. Has anyone else experienced this problem and, hopefully, have a solution?

I was encountering this problem last week:
http://www.sevenforums.com/general-d...all-files.html

I did a clean reinstall and was sort-of able to get the laptop to boot to normal mode. I say "sort-of" because it still has a couple of issues:
1) After the clean install, Windows update downloaded about 150 updates. After rebooting, I ran into the same issue as before - unable to boot into normal mode. I did another clean reinstall and installed the Windows updates 1 by 1 and found that installing the Intel Graphics adapter WDDM1.1, Graphics adapter WDDM1.2 - Intel HD Graphics 4000 was causing the problem. If I don't install this update, I don't have the file corruption issue.

2) The other problem is that I can't get my laptop to display on an external display. The Win + P keys don't bring up the display selection dialog. I installed the above-mentioned Intel graphics update and the Win + P keys were working now - but now the laptop goes into safe mode within 10-20 seconds of booting up - same as the original problem. So now I can't display on an external monitor unless I install the Intel driver but the driver corrupts the system files and I run into the original problem.

3) The last issue is that the 'space' key on the laptop is acting oddly - hitting the space key almost always resets the cursor pointer a few words before where it's supposed to be, or the cursor just disappears. This didn't happen prior to the file corruption so I'm wondering if this is ... Read more

Intel - Other hardware - Intel(R) 8 Series SMBus Controller - 9C22
Intel Corporation driver update for Intel(R) HD Graphics Family
both failed to install nevertheless other updates and cumulative software were installed successfully .
In the Device Manager I find those drivers installed in their places but for the first there is no way I can know whether I have the latest version or not.
Plus there are some more pci bridges which when they get updated from the Device Manager they change name and move upwards .
How do I handle this? Shall I force update all those drivers in the System Devices category or just leave everything as it is now in the screenshot?

After installing Windows 7 Ultimate over XP, my graphics card was no longer recognized as an Intel 900 GM, but rather a " First Standard VGA Graphics"'. I could feed a TV through the VGA connection to the VGA TV connection O.K.. (The screen only showed on the TV at this point and I did not know about the Fn +F5 combination, although I know this would probably not have worked anyway). When I returned home and tried to hook-up a different TV with the S Video cable ( which worked just fine before windows 7 was installed) the TV did not receive a signal. The resolution page did not show the 2nd monitor (T.V.) at all. Tried all the update drivers routine w/o success. Searched Toshiba's drivers for the Tecra A3 w/o success. Searched for days and finally found a site that mentioned NetFramework might be out of date and so would not load the drivers properly? I had the latest edition. I searched the Intel support site and discovered there is no driver's available for the "older" systems. Thanks Intel! So I gave up and ordered a VGA to S Video Converter box. Five minutes later I get the brain storm to download the driver I spotted on Intels site for windows XP Pro Graphics driver. The first attempt to run the execute file (after downloading the driver's execute file) failed and said " not supported by system". Hello,

I recently reinstalled Windows XP on my desktop and I have gotten the internet to work through my modem, but it only gives me a speed of 12.0 Mbps. From the Dell Driver Downloads page, my network adapter is a Intel Pro /100 VE Network Adapter, but when it is installed, I cannot access any web browser. It says I am connected, and firewalled under Local Area Connection, but my browser does not work. Like I said, my modems' adapter is the only thing keeping me on the internet, but I want to break away from it and use the 100 Mbps Intel Adapter. What do you think is wrong?

Your computer does come with the Intel Pro Wireless.

Look in the Device Manager under Network adapters, double click on the Intel Pro Wireless to see if the device is working properly.

While you are there click on the Driver tab to see what driver is being used.

Hi! First of all, I'm sorry if my English is bad. My laptop is running on Windows 8.1 Single Language. I just bought this about a month ago and I'm having this weird problem.

Cases that my network adapter connects to my computer:
1.) After restart
2.) When the network adapter successfully starts and then shut the computer down then start it again

Cases that my network adapter does not connect to my computer:
1.) Turning the computer on after a few hours from the last shutdown

I have done the following things:
1.) Update the driver
2.) Not allowing the computer to turn off the network adapter
3.) Uninstall and reinstall network adapter
4.) Release and renew IPv4 address
5.) Disable Proset services
6.) Disable Bluetooth driver and services
7.) Set WLAN AutoConfig to automatically start

Is this a hardware related problem or a driver problem? Do you know how to fix this?

Thanks!

Looking at the list, "Intel Media Graphics Accelerator Driver" shows 37.1GB!??

My computer works fine and in the "My Computer" page is says, "OS C-Drive 197GB free of 218GB"

Is this a Dell thing like reporting the wrong program size, or is it real?

What should I do if anything?

A:SP1 Intel Graphics Problem

Hello there, DBone. it could be an error, nothing to worry about.

But if it's messing around with your head, you could just uninstall the driver and install the latest version from the intel website. or your manufacturer's website

Most likely is a mis-reading. if the used space on the HDD hasn't change (besides from the SP1 files), then everything is alright.

Hey guys, I'm running the x64 developer preview on an Acer Aspire 5740 running an older Intel GMA HD, and the current driver for it is Intel? A:Intel HD Graphics Driver Problem.

Hi, You can get around the restriction imposed by the oem graphics package by manually installing the Intel Graphics driver as follows. First, download the latest Intel HD4600 driver for your notebook from the link below and save it to your Downloads folder - you need the first option ( ie win64_154025.4463.zip ).  Note:  If you wish to install a different driver version from Intel, the method is still the same. https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26079/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-?... When done, download and install the .64bit version of 7-Zip on the link below. http://www.7-zip.org/ When you've installed 7-Zip, open your Downloads folder, right click on the win64_154025.4463.zip package, select 7-Zip, select extract files and then click Ok. Cut this newly extracted folder and paste it on your Desktop so it's easy to find. When done, hold down the Windows key and press R Into the Run window, type devmgmt.msc and hit enter. In Device Manager, expand Display adapters, right click the Intel 4600 device and select 'Update Driver Software'. In the following window, select 'Browser my computer for driver software' and then select 'Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer'. In the next window, click the 'Have Disk' button and then browse to the extracted Intel win64_154025.4463 folder you pasted on your Desktop. Browse into the sub-folder Graphics, left click on t... A:intel graphics problem after installing win 10

gokul17 Hello;Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums! The Win10 Upgrade tool does a poor job of detecting PCs with multiple graphics chipsets (like yours) and, as a result, is unable to install the proper drivers for those chipsets to work.Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the problem you're up against is that Microsoft only supplies drivers with the most basic functionality, and what you really need for FULL functionality in laptops is the specialized drivers written for the specific hardware found in laptops -- and unfortunately, there are no HP Win10 drivers for your laptop. However, for MS-supplied drivers that aren't working well, you could consider using HP Win8 drivers -- although there's no guarantee that those drivers will work. Here's the link to the HP Product drivers and software page for Win8 for your PC:  http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-15-e000-Notebook-PC-series/5355006/model...If that page does not show Win8x when you open it, then click CHANGE and select Windows 8x using the pulldown. You might have to install the drivers using compatibility mode: http://www.windows10forums.com/articles/compatibility-mode.7/Good Luck

I have a Gateway Solo 1450 with Intel 830M graphics controller which is supposed to have the TV-Out function. I hooked up a VGA converter to a S-Video cable and put that input into my tv. I adjusted the display of the graphics to allowing my notebook to be placed on the other "monitor." In the Intel directions, it says to go into the Graphics Properties and select "TV". However, even with the tv connected I don't see this icon. So I chose the multiple monitors option and allowed my notebook to be seen on the other monitor which is really the tv. I tried it on 2 tv's both on the s-video channel. However, neither has a usable signal and remains blank. One of my tv's picture did jiggle around a slight bit when I adjusted things on the settings portion but there was no picture besides a blue screen. I've tried every setting I can imagine to change on the computer and the tv. I know my s-video cable works and the adapter is new so I don't think it's that. Anyone who can tell me how to fix this is my hero

Problem: Intel HD Graphics keeps on crashing right after installation "Intel HD Graphics has stopped responding and has recovered error".I had this error when I recently upgraded my RAM to 4gb (original RAM was 2gb), but it did not start directly to crash. I was thinking that the upgrade was successful because it did not proceed to give me errors but it only started a few minutes right after I was playing DOTA 2 on my laptop. Right after then it kept crashing not when I was playing games but when I boot up my laptop the screen will turn black with a cursor and the computer beep of Windows 10 notification sound that something has been attached then ejected much like a flashdrive inserted and ejected.I have tried the following before writing my dilemma here:Tried system restoreMade a clean installInserted my old RAMTried the TdrDelay registry tweak (to no avail)I can fully use my laptop normally when I either disable the installed INTEL HD GRAPHICS or uninstall it and use Microsoft Display Adapter.I really need to install the Intel HD graphics driver without problems because since a graphics card helps a lot in the performance of a computer.PS: My laptop only has 1 slot for RAM.LAPTOP MODEL: Acer Aspire ES1-431-P1SHRAM used for upgrade: http://www.lazada.com.ph/kingston-value-ram-4gb-1600mhz-pc3-12800-ddr3l-135v-non-ecc-cl11sodimm-1rx8...

I am having a problem with my Intel 82852/82855 graphics card drivers. this started when I tried to update the driver. I downloaded the driver, and tried to update it by unzipping the file, and going to device manager, selecting the device, selecting update driver, and specifying the location. it worked pretty well, but right at the end of the proccess, where the bar was almos full, it stopped. the wizard told me that there had been an error while installing my hardware; "the specified file could not be found." however, I didn't see a file specified anywhere! also, after this, my video card, (or cards, I'm not sure; device manager shows two had the little yellow circle with and exclamation mark near it. I tried this several times, completely unninstalling the drivers from the add/remove program lists. I've even tried it with an older driver, but I get the same message. Please help me: I'm pretty desperate!

Hello

I've purchased a new computer, namely an i3 540 on a Gigabyte H55M-S2H, without a dedicated graphics card. When I install Intel's drivers and restart (no matter which driver, I've tried them all, from both GB and Intel) Instead of my desktop I will get a black screen after the windows (7 64bit pro) logo at startup.

Thanks for any help!

device manager under my Network adapter. I have my Intel Ethernet adapter listed and then underneath the bang with WAN Miniport (IP) #2. When I check the properties of the device It says it is not working properly. When I attempt to uninstall the device it tells me that the device cannot be removed because it is required to boot the system.

go into your bios and under boot options, remove network/internet as a boot option if it is listed.

See, i've just got this HP ProBook and it had Windows7 Enterprise 64 bit.
When i looked to the system information and the dxdiag i saw that it had a 1.7GB VRAM.
When i Installed a game today, it said that it doesn't support the minimum requirements of it , which it was 128mb VRam.

What should i do, I mean is it the fault at the windows 7 64 bit or, enterprise can not recognize it.

Do anyone know this, or had encountered this problem and fixed it.

This notebook has Intel 3000 integrated graphics.... It doesn't matter how much ram those graphics have...they are just too weak for gaming. However some models have a discrete AMD 6470m card also, but that is a special order thing...does the box have any information on it?
